Its hard to find an honest plumber, so when I had an issue at my house, I was concerned.  Their price was fair and I got an appointment for the same day while other local plumbers had me wait for days.  Kevin was awesome, he explained the process and  was professional.  He didn't just throw out any number, he explained the procedure and had written documents which justified his assessment.  They stand behind their work 100%.  The receptionist was friendly and called back to check up the on us after the job was completed.  I felt so satisfied with their work that, i signed up my office as well.  Excellent service all around.  Thank You !!!  A++++++++++++++++

Ok Steve I've used you before I find you very knowledgeable, and I use you again, the only problem is you Wayover priced at $80 an hour as a senior citizen I can't afford you you might think drop your prices down and I'll use you again but not at $80 an hour I can't do that I'm on a six budget buddy I didn't win more I didn't know you probably don't remember me I name is Bob Fazzina on S. Bob's knowledge of plumbing exceeds anything I could've ever expected from a plumber at his rates. The savings that I experience with Bob allowed me to get a little extra work done without going over budget and I would believe anyone would appreciate that.

Jason is a pleasure to work with-- I had called him after getting his coupon in the money mailer bc I was afraid that I had a major problem with my toilet.  He was on time, showed me his plumbing license, and spent a lot of time with me, Answering all of my questions.  Luckily, the problem wasn't a problem after all.   He is also not the kind of plumber whose gonna charge you an arm and a leg, which I really respect and appreciate in this day and age. Now I know in the future, who to call, if and when there is a problem! He also rescues dogs and other animals, which to me, is a win win. I would recommend him to anyone.

Called the House Doctor and he came out the same day to give me an estimate and then did the repair the next day.  He actually threw in an additional repair in my kitchen when I simply asked him a question about my sink.  He replied I'll take care of it
and they did.  They were so professional and friendly and best of all AFFORDABLE!! Wish I could give them more stars because they deserve it.  I called around everywhere even resorted to asking friends & family if they knew of any handyman that could help me.  So glad I did not go that route.  I highly recommend the House Doctor Plumbing.

Last summer I started to research converting from oil heat to gas heat.  I met with a couple other Local heater contractors and was very disappointed in their attitude, service and especially their pricing.  One contractor, IT Landis, would only come to my house during hours that were convenient for him, mostly Monday - Thrus.  from 9 to 3; a time when most people are working. I asked about an earlier appointment preferably 8:00 A.M. so that I would only be a little late for work but he would not compromise. Nor would he come at the end of the day, say around 4:00 or 4:30.  Sorry, but I'm not taking several hours off from work (with no pay) to give a contractor the opportunity to make a $10,000 sale.  oh, and BTW, I was already a long-time IT Landis client.... for about 10 years!   Not only did they over charge for all their services, but when you have an emergency when the office is closed, they really hit you where it hurts.  You may have a yearly service contract, but if the part that is broken is NOT covered under that contract they have no problem charging you $100/hr for service.  My last bill with IT Landis was over $600. I did my best and made monthly payments but one month I missed a payment and they had the nerve to send me a Collection Notice stamped in red! This is what being a loyal client means to IT Landis!!!  Miss one $50.00 payment and they start to threaten you!!!!  Over $50.00!  

Another contractor, Moyer, agreed to meet at a better time, but the salesman was cocky, arrogant and flat-out refused to give me a written quote.  He took no measurements and verbally gave me a ballpark quote of $8,000 to $11,000 for a new heater and hot water heater.  When I asked for a written quote he told me it wasn't worth his time to give me one!!!  He also refused to give me specifications on the new boilers he was recommending.  Verbally told me to write down some model numbers and to look them up on line myself.  Insulted, I complained to his manager who was just as much of a idiot!  He didn't even try to salvage the sale, made some lame excuses for his salesman who turned out to be a friend he went to elementary school together! Seriously?  Why have a sales department who is too freaking lazy to do actual sales?  No written estimate? No specifications?  No product literature?  All sums to a big NO SALE to me. Especially when I have to get a loan to pay for a $11K heater and hot water heater.  

A friend suggested I call Good Plumbing Inc. in Hatfield, PA.   I was very surprised when they agreed to meet me at 5:00 pm.  He looked at my oil boiler, wrote down a few numbers and suggested I just convert the oil burner to a gas burner and save $$$$.  He said my 13 year-old boiler was still in very good condition and there was no reason to replace it.   A couple days later I received a written quote via email for under $2,300.  I couldn't believe it!  After giving them a deposit, the install was very smooth, efficient and professional. My new gas burner is working perfectly and I've saved hundred of dollars using natural gas as a fuel source!  I even received a $200 PECO rebate!  Good Plumbing even removed my old oil tank for me!    I opted to not install a new hot water heater at this time but when I am ready, I plan on calling Good Plumbing to help me again.  

Never again will I put up with the arrogant high profileheater contractor.

We were charged $650 to replace a garbage disposal.  Amazon's price and other sellers charge around $300 for the disposal we got. Labor then would be $350 for an hour's work on the disposal.  There were no complications. It was not a weekend, after hours or a holiday. Other work done in the house was a separate charge. Receptionists and plumber were nice.  The owner was not.  Reasonable requests on our part were not received well.  He said it was his flat rate that he charges for this disposal and his plumber. He refused a breakdown of the bill.  He insisted it was a fair price in Newtown for his work.

Excellent workmanship- great communication fast and friendly service. More than fair price! I highly recommend!

My sump pump motor broke and Bukowski came right out and replaced it.  They were not that ones who installed it origionally, but they came and put a new one in and it works great.  Then I called them back (Robert), and had them run a new line for me (pvc) to redirect the water from the sump pit into another location.  They work fast, and its quality.  Very happy I met them and will call them back in the future!

Very efficient, very well done job. They replaced several galvanized pipes in our basement, improving the routing and overall appearance of the water lines. Previously been to our home to replace the water heater. First rate work.

I called Horizon services to my home when my hot water heater broke. They came out quickly . After inspecting my hot water heater, the service man wrote an estimate and said he would complete the job that day. His estimate was for $2100. He told me his unit would be under warranty and if anything went write ong they would come out day or night. I never bought a hot water heater before so I was uneasy with the price not knowing how much a competitor would charge. When I told the Horizon rep I would like to check other companies, he got very pushing saying if you don't take my offer now , it would be voided. I told him to leave and I would call him back. Home Depot installed me for $850 with an 8 year warranty. If you have extra $$ laying around , give them a call.

Took off for a furnace appointment during a weekday.  No one showed up, no one called, no one answes the phone.  Look elsewhere!

Did more damage than I previously had and had not returned any of my calls after my acknowledgement of the damage thy caused.!

Plumber couldn't unclog my kitchen sink, isn't that what plumbers do? No video pipe, just a snake. $129 service fee for letting me know they couldn't do the work. NO Thanks! Buyer beware!
