After having an issue with another plumber in Harleysville, they came in and took care of my parents house very well and with great respect.  The bill was lower than was quoted due to the fact that they found everything quickly and spent less time on the job than they had estimated.  Good, honest and nice people.  I would suggest you go with them before even calling any other local plumber.

Thank you very much for taking care of my elderly parents and doing it with respect and integrity.

We had a plumber out just to permanently close off some pipes that had been attached to a wetsink. While he was here, he shut off the water and turned on the faucets to clear the water (all standard). However when he turned the water back on our upstairs shower was running and the door was open and he didnt check it. The water flooded our bathroom and caused damage to our kitchen ceiling which now needs to be replaced. We called about an hour after the plumber left, were transferred to him, and his suggestions was buy new drywall and replace the ceiling yourself.
Since this visit I have called and left messages numerous times but keep being told Rick the supervisor isnt in. We used this company many times in the past but obviously will not again, I am shocked at the lack of customer service and accountability for the damage caused.

Buyer beware!  I've been a happy customer of Good for over 15 years.  Their people are awesome to deal with, very professional and do a great job.  Here's the problem, in this tough economic climate, they are charging for time to and from your residence, a gas fee, plus a $55 dispatch fee!  I was charged $155 for 45 minutes of work.  I wish someone bought me gas and paid me for my time to drive to and from work.  Bye bye Good, it's been nice knowing you.  (also charged $189 for a valve I could have bought on Amazon for $127)

One of Good's managers came out to assess a need and provide estimate. Provided one very high estimate and a lower estimate for a scaled down job. We chose the lower. This manager ignored all (3-4) calls regarding decision to move ahead, ignored 3-4 text messages. Called and spoke with an assistant in the office asking him to call back...nothing. Very strange because we were connected to Good thru a contractor they work with frequently. I would just say this is a really ignorant approach to doing business and a total disregard for the customer. It would be easy to say...we just cant help at this time.. but to purposely ignore messages and keep a potential customer hanging is telling about their approach to business. This happened about 18 months ago and we found an outstanding company that resolved our issues quickly and professionally.

Bought AC and Heating Systems From Them, So Spent Thousands Of Dollars.  Afterwards Tried Setting Up Appt. For Someone To Come Out For Maintenance and The Custiomer Service Department Was Horrible - Speaking To Me With Attitude.  Plenty of Better Businesses To Go To That Appreciate Their Customers.

I have used Good numerous times for plumbing work.  I have always been happy with their service. We had a serious issue with our AC in the middle of a heat wave this week.  I called and they came out and fixed it and the system is working great.  I can't say enough about this group.  Fair pricing and honest and reliable service.  Can't beat em!

I don't have anything good or bad to say about Good plumbing.  They showed up quickly, did an okay job, and wore a mask because I asked.  I wasn't wowed by the customer service at the office or by the technician, but I got what I needed and I got it quickly.

If there was a way to use more than five stars for their review,  that's what these guys deserve! Called at the end of most people's work day (4:15pm) to report a back up into our powder room, and James and Ed arrived  in under 45 minutes.  They quickly assessed the situation and determined that a backhoe would be needed to dig up our lawn due to a clogged sewer drain. They left and we turned in about a half hour with a trailer and a backhoe and got to work. Fortunately it was an easier fix than they anticipated as it was closer to the surface and not in the middle of our lawn. I cannot say enough nice things about James and Eddie. They were courteous professional and didn't seem to mind that we prolonged their workday. They kept us posted every step of the way and we were up and running within 3.5 hours!
It is very rare to get the high quality service that we did and I am so glad that a company employs good people like James and Eddie.

Too long of a story to explain but in the end good plumbing was honest and a quick fix. Next time I'll wait it out and not to be taken for almost taken for 3,200 from other dishonest plumber in quakertown. Thanks brad and hope surgery on back goes well

This company had good reviews seemed great with quick response for several problems.
I was happy with the service and the results till I got the bill. They charged me twice the cost of a water heater, and charged for 2 plumbers to do the job that a single plumber should have been able to do in half the time. The bill was twice what I estimated for the jobs considering that
professional plumbers were doing the jobs.
I recommend if you use them to get a written estimate up front or they will take you to the cleaners.

After a bad experience with another local plumber, I sought out Good Plumbing to install some tricky shut-off valves for me (yes, tricky, you should see the old house I bought).  Everything about this experience was light years better than my experience with the other local plumber.  Starting with scheduling, I spoke with Rachel on the phone who was very courteous and very accommodating.  She asked many questions about what I needed done, and gathered as much information as she could so that the technician would arrive prepared.  She even asked that I take pictures of the places I needed the valves installed, and text them to one of the company numbers.  I did just that.  Shortly after receiving the photos, I was texted back (by whom, I am not sure, possibly Rachel, possibly the business owner) and asked more questions.  We ended up swapping my afternoon appointment time to a morning appointment to ensure that the technician had enough time to complete the job.  I felt that they did an excellent job of making sure they had enough information to ensure that the job would go smoothly and quickly, which means they weren't only after me for my bucks.  The plumber arrived on time, and completed the job quicker than I thought he would.  He had to cut into our ceiling and cut in the right spot the first time (yay!) after running up and down the stairs and taking several measurements.  He told us they don't put it all back together, but that's no issue, as thankfully I have a handy husband - but something for others to be forewarned about.  I think there was only one piece that he needed that he didn't have, and he called the shop for it, and he was able to work on something else while he waited for it to be brought to him.

The only thing that knocks this star rating down for me, is that even though I felt I had a thorough conversation on the phone with Rachel during scheduling, she did mention that they bill at an hourly rate, and they bill out, so I would not be expected to pay the plumber on the day of service.  This was fine with me - until I got the bill - and discover they also charge for materials.  Now, this is probably just my total ignorance as a homeowner, as a woman, as someone who works in IT and not in the trades, etc - maybe everyone else in the world knows that something like this would be billed hourly + materials, but I did not know, so when I got the bill and it was more than what I expected, it was a bit of a shock.  The bill wasn't extraordinary or anything, but it was more than the hourly rate x 5hrs that I was expecting.  I think it would be nice if, at the same time they mention that they bill at an hourly rate and bill out, they could also mention that you will be billed for materials too.  Regardless, this will not deter me from contacting Good Plumbing again for work in the future.  The guy did an awesome job, and I was extremely pleased with the service and handiwork.

Excellent customer service.  Good Plumbing goes over and above with their services, and the fees are reasonable.  I have worked with them for years and will not call any other plumber.

We recently purchased a very old house that, although charming, is a serious money pit. I have had several companies come through for various fixes but Good has by far been the best and will be the only company I use from now on. Several different employees have been here to work on boiler and plumbing issues and they have all been very thorough and honest, even finding errors made by other companies. Most recently I had a frozen water supply line and they were able to excavate and fix the problem in less than two hours from my call!!  In summary, they are awesome!!!!

I needed to get a sewer line replaced under a concrete slab, out of the four companies I called:
1st wouldn't even do it
2nd couldn't give me a price until they opened up the area
Good Plumbing came right in and knew what was wrong and what needed to be done and gave me an estimate the next day.
4th company gave me an estimate range, which was thousands over Good's estimate.

It was scheduled to take 3days, but because of some other work that was being done in the work area, at the end of the 2nd day I asked if they could finish at another time.  I felt guilty, but they worked with me even though it was a last minute request.  Once I got the other work completed, they came back, finished the work and it all looks great.

The two workers John and Chuck did a quality job and were very courteous to myself and my wife.  Everything was fixed and they even cleaned everything up, so there was no mess at the end.

I will be using them again in the future for any additional plumbing work I may have.

Prompt service but terrible customer experience overall.  Called about a leaking water heater (under warranty) and was quoted an hourly rate. Work completed in less than 45 minutes. Billed for replacement of water heater which was not done (only replaced a valve and expansion tank) and billed for 2 hours for two workers. Completely unnecessary given the ease of the job.  Tried to resolve with management but was treated terribly and they would not budge. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Found plenty of other ethical plumbers in the area for future work.

Last summer I started to research converting from oil heat to gas heat.  I met with a couple other Local heater contractors and was very disappointed in their attitude, service and especially their pricing.  One contractor, IT Landis, would only come to my house during hours that were convenient for him, mostly Monday - Thrus.  from 9 to 3; a time when most people are working. I asked about an earlier appointment preferably 8:00 A.M. so that I would only be a little late for work but he would not compromise. Nor would he come at the end of the day, say around 4:00 or 4:30.  Sorry, but I'm not taking several hours off from work (with no pay) to give a contractor the opportunity to make a $10,000 sale.  oh, and BTW, I was already a long-time IT Landis client.... for about 10 years!   Not only did they over charge for all their services, but when you have an emergency when the office is closed, they really hit you where it hurts.  You may have a yearly service contract, but if the part that is broken is NOT covered under that contract they have no problem charging you $100/hr for service.  My last bill with IT Landis was over $600. I did my best and made monthly payments but one month I missed a payment and they had the nerve to send me a Collection Notice stamped in red! This is what being a loyal client means to IT Landis!!!  Miss one $50.00 payment and they start to threaten you!!!!  Over $50.00!

Another contractor, Moyer, agreed to meet at a better time, but the salesman was cocky, arrogant and flat-out refused to give me a written quote.  He took no measurements and verbally gave me a ballpark quote of $8,000 to $11,000 for a new heater and hot water heater.  When I asked for a written quote he told me it wasn't worth his time to give me one!!!  He also refused to give me specifications on the new boilers he was recommending.  Verbally told me to write down some model numbers and to look them up on line myself.  Insulted, I complained to his manager who was just as much of a idiot!  He didn't even try to salvage the sale, made some lame excuses for his salesman who turned out to be a friend he went to elementary school together! Seriously?  Why have a sales department who is too freaking lazy to do actual sales?  No written estimate? No specifications?  No product literature?  All sums to a big NO SALE to me. Especially when I have to get a loan to pay for a $11K heater and hot water heater.

A friend suggested I call Good Plumbing Inc. in Hatfield, PA.   I was very surprised when they agreed to meet me at 5:00 pm.  He looked at my oil boiler, wrote down a few numbers and suggested I just convert the oil burner to a gas burner and save $$$$.  He said my 13 year-old boiler was still in very good condition and there was no reason to replace it.   A couple days later I received a written quote via email for under $2,300.  I couldn't believe it!  After giving them a deposit, the install was very smooth, efficient and professional. My new gas burner is working perfectly and I've saved hundred of dollars using natural gas as a fuel source!  I even received a $200 PECO rebate!  Good Plumbing even removed my old oil tank for me!    I opted to not install a new hot water heater at this time but when I am ready, I plan on calling Good Plumbing to help me again.

Never again will I put up with the arrogant high profileheater contractor.

Good Plumbing, Heating & A/C Inc. is the best!  I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Found out my hot water heater was leaking, and it is less than 10 years old.   I called Good Plumbing and they were able to install a new water heater the very next day.  They came first thing in the morning and it only took them less than 2 hours for the removal and install.  Wonderful experience.  They are my go to plumbers.

Called several plumbing companies and these guys were the cheapest.  I mean cheapest by hundreds of dollars.  I called after deciding to go with Good and they came out the same day to install a warranty water heater for us.  The estimate time I got was 3 hrs. it took them a little over 1 hr!!!  The gentlemen who came were friendly, and courteous.  When they left, I honestly couldn't even tell they were in my basement, that's how clean they left everything.  Any future plumbing needs I will call these guys.  Fantastic!

Another great experience with this company; this time fixing my AC heat pump. Other companies have been out to inspect my problematic heat pump with no success. Jeff from Good Plumbing recognized the symptoms that I described and quickly found the defective part. Heat pump is now running perfectly. Thanks Jeff! I also feel that the price I paid for this fix was reasonable.

By far the best experience with a contractor we've had yet!  They installed our new gas furnace last year.  They gave us the best quote, and were extremely nice and professional to work with.

We encountered a few snags along the way (the right thermostat wasn't in stock; we had some condensation due to something being installed improperly; and when the worst of winter hit, the air conditioner drain wasn't in properly and froze, causing the heat to shut down).

But every issue was dealt with quickly, even on the weekends, (and Souderton is not very close to me)!  I can deal with anything happening as long as the people you're working with are nice and knowledgeable.  Thank you!

For a large group, these guys are very good. I've had a few different guys do work for me - installing sinks, b/u sump pump, etc, and they all have done good work. Their price is very reasonable, and they are professional and honest.

Rick and Steve of GOOD Plumbing  did the greatest job on the removal of all the old iron soil drains and the installation of new plastic sewer drains in my row home. It was a big job. The quality of the job done was excellent, like a work of art. I find Good Plumbing and Heating  and Air Conditioning to be the best. They also put in my new furnace which was another excellent job. And their charge rates are very reasonable indeed! I highly recommend GOOD Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning. If you want Fast Response. Quality Workmanship, and  Reasonable Costs, go with them!

I have used this company for plumbing and HVAC in four homes since 1987. While ownership changed when the founder retired (I believe), the quality of service remains outstanding.  The workers are professional, knowlegeable, very nice and the kind of people I am comfortable to have in my home. I have learned a few times that they could have offered more expensive remedies and been technically correct, but they offer what will work, but will be cost efficient. I have no connection to or financial interest in the is review. They simply are the best!
