Eddie and his team were excellent: prompt, professional, and knowledgeable!

Despite it being New Year's Day when I contacted Eddie, he responded in less than an hour and came out the next day to diagnose our problem (dead water heater). Since we opted to use him for the repair, Eddie did not charge us for the diagnostic fee. He is knowledgeable about the different water heater brands, and I feel confident with the product he recommended and installed.

For both the diagnostic visit and the repair, Eddie kept me updated via text on his estimated arrival time and was always punctual. The team installed the new water heater very quickly. The price was quoted up front, and there were no surprises when the work was completed.

In terms of COVID precautions - the team wore masks and gloves while they were in my apartment.

We had to get our kitchen faucet replaced, due to a leak. We sent him a video, and he was able to diagnose the problem and get a technician out right away to help us get the problem fixed.

Patrick from his team came out and was nice, pleasant and a total pro, who explained to us what he was doing, since me and my fiancé would like to be able to fix a similar problem should it happen in the future. Great professional service. Will absolutely use again when needed.

They are also able to provide COI's where necessary.

Eddie was responsive, we spoke on the phone, and I sent him photos of what needed to be done. He gave me a rough estimate that was better than another company that was recommended to me.
I didn't get to meet Eddie, but his guy Gus was great, ontime and even early. He was professional and was able to accomplish the following in a couple of hours.
-Leaking faucet with faucet replacement
-replaced bathtub spout (it was broken)
-installed my bidet
-replaced sink shut off valves.
I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Eddie has and will remain my buildings plumber of choice. Nice guy, transparent and more importantly communicative. Last job was running late due to an issue with another customers job but called to update me on his time. Things happen, and making sure he didn't leave me hanging was the most important thing. We had an emergency one morning with a broken pipe. This was our first experience with Eddie and his team. They showed up immediately, located and fixed the pipe and it was a very reasonable charge. Since then, we have used them to do several much larger jobs. They replaced a furnace/water heater with a tankless system. They replaced a pump in another old, old furnace. They got a thermostat working that has never worked before. We have been very happy with their service and prices. Eddie is friendly and easy to work with. He takes care to explain the work he is doing so we layfolks can understand.

We have worked with several other local plumbers in the past, and Recommended Plumbing has definitely been the best. I highly recommend Recommended!

Eddie is the best in the biz! Had a leak in the basement ceiling under my bathtub so I feared the worst. Eddie came out the first time for no charge and assured me it was not what I feared but said he'd come back if the leak came back. Then when the leak returned he and his team came out after the biggest snow storm we've had in years and found the culprit was bad sealing next to the tub. He sealed it up with some stuff I had leftover from the last job and he only charged me for this second call. I'd definitely recommend him for any plumbing needs! Thanks Eddie.

Great guy fixed our shower leak, and draining sink issues replaced whole fixture and declogged it dealt with unusual plumbing that was in place reversed hoses and other stuff. Also very nice and accommodating with a nice sense of humor. Experienced plumber which quickly knows what tools and products he needed to not waste time, and quickly solve the problem. Accepts credit cards things cost about $100-200 for labor.

Called 3 times and always got to voicemail. The owner did call back but missed. When I call back, still voicemail. Giving up now.

He came to put my radiators in place. He did the job I paid him. I have since called him twice, he gives me an appointment time then does not show up. I am wondering if my color skin has anything to do with his behavior since there wasn't any problems when he came to replace radiators.

Building hired Eddie for a job to replace several water heaters and redo some venting and he was great.  It was a nice big job and he got paid and his guys did a good job...everyone's happy.

I call him back a couple of months later to come turn on a furnace in the same building.  Eddie was all friendly and says no problem, I'll be on it.  But nada, 1 week, i made a call almost each day to find out if he got to it yet and he said he would.  enough was enough, i straight up said why you give me the run around when you can't commit.  he then made an excuse i get 40-50 calls and it's 70 degree (when i was sub 60), blah blah.  Ok, i get it, it was a small job and i might be sensitive, but not once did Eddie call back to say he can't make it.  Each time it was me following up and each time he tried to play nice guy by saying he was on it, when he knew he didn't have the time.  Just be straight up man, i would have been ok if you were too busy.

Long story short...returned my phone call, showed up in less than an hour, diagnosed the issue and fixed it same day...could not ask for more.

I called multiple plumbers in the area and only one returned my phone call, that was Eddie of Recommended Plumbing. I called to have a leaking toilet fixed due to an improper install and repair from another plumber. Since I was at work, he sent me a video explaining what the issue was, which gave me comfort. Most importantly, the leak is fixed and no longer an issue. The fast response and great customer service was icing on the cake. Would highly recommend.

As a homeowner, I put the feelers out through my usual channels for a plumber and just happened to find Recommended Plumbing on yelp while searching. Initially, Eddie and I had a quick conversation and I wasn't even sure I was going to use him. I'm sure glad that I did. No regrets here! After whittling down my list of plumbers, I realized that all charged between $150-$200 just to come out and assess the issue. I wasn't above paying a service charge but these guys were charging the equivalent of one hour of labor. I understand that the money goes towards the cost of the job but that all but GUARANTEES that I go with that particular plumber! Not Eddie. His service charge was very reasonable and yeah, I was going to have him do the job anyway. Being practical about the service charge was one of THE main reasons he won my business. Now on to his expertise: bottom line, this guy knows his stuff! He took one look at the issue and told me what needed to be done and how much it was going to cost, all-in. When he and his partner, Patrick finished up, he even gave me a bit of a break on the balance due because I was paying in cash. All in all, Eddie is very friendly, he knows his stuff, and is very reasonable with his pricing.

Had a problem with the toilet and tried to fix on my own with no luck. I called them and they called me right back and came within an hour and quickly fixed the problem. I highly recommend and will be using them for my other jobs in the apartment building

I recently called Recommended Plumbing for a job that required a great deal of flexibility. And he nailed it.
I left a message, he returned the call quickly. I needed to replace a water heater in a condo, and he asked all the right questions that made me confident that he knew what he was doing.
He quoted me a good price, and he was able to take credit card payment via email authorization.
There was a glitch with the payment at my end because it looked like it could have been fraud, but we were able to work it out quickly, and Eddie's team came through beautifully.
The job also required a bit of finesse, because they had to work around the schedule of a washer/dryer delivery. That's where the flexibility came in, the job was handled professionally, and my tenants were impressed. Recommended Plumbing made me look good, and I really appreciate that.
I would not hesitate to use them in the future, and he is now my go to guy for Plumbing.

Very happy with this plumbing company! My boyfriend accidentally drilled into a pipe while hanging something on the bathroom wall - hot water shooting everywhere...Luckily, I was able to turn off the hot water heater and stop the flow. I called Eddie at Recommended Plumbing at 8 AM this morning (Monday) and left a message. He called back about 20 minutes later and was able to send two of his guys to the apartment in less than an hour and a half. They performed a simple repair and were done in less than 20 minutes. The price was extremely reasonable to boot - I will be keeping their number on hand for the future!

I'm a new owner with no go-to's when it comes to plumbers/handymen/etc and my toilet was leaking from the front of the bowl. I left a message for a quote and availability. I got a call back within 30 minutes and a technician was at my apartment within a few hours. He was friendly and efficient and the toilet was fixed within an hour. I will definitely be using Recommended Plumbing for any future needs.

We hired Eddie and his team to install new three faucets, two shower heads, with fittings, and trim. They showed up on time, intelligently addressed problems in replacing the new fixtures, and did a beautiful job with the installation.  Their price was reasonable and Eddie is great to work with. I recently used Recommended Plumbing because my water heater no longer was producing hot water.  I called Ed the owner and he was very responsive.  We scheduled an appointment and he arrived in a very timely manner.  He accessed the water heater and informed me we would have to purchase a new one. Him and his team arrived and installed the new water heater very quickly (within a couple of hours) and it is working very efficiently.  I also had a leak underneath my kitchen sink and this was repaired.  In addition, he repaired 2 tub spouts that were leaking while the shower was being used.  Him and his team were incredible.  I definitely recommend them and will use them moving forward. Ed was very professional, very reasonable with regard to pricing and he will be the first person I call with regard to plumbing issues.
