Our Alamo Water System has been in for about one year (RO & Whole House). We had Caleb out today for our first RO filter change and a main softener check. He is super knowledgeable about the systems. I mentioned offhand that I had a few hard water marks appear on some black pants, and he knew the adjustment to fix that for us right away. He also spent time with the hubs explaining the recharge cycle to us again too.

Shout out to Caleb! He's super friendly and knows literally everything about how the Alamo Softeners work. We really appreciated his excellent customer service during our appointment today.

We have had good experiences with Alamo, from installing and servicing our water softeners and filters. If you are on the fence about getting one, it's a top improvement for our house. In Lakeway/Austin we have really high chlorine levels in the muni water and high ammonia from time to time too. Our family loves the clean drinking and cooking water from the reverse osmosis filter faucet and the lack of hard water stains in the sinks and fixtures. (Also, no more chlorine smell)

Water softener works well enough but the install was an absolute disaster. Installation Tech left an enormous mess without cleaning anything up. My laundry room had multiple 4 to 6 in pieces of PVC pipe all over the floor and drywall dust everywhere from Drilling. They came back out to clean up and did an okay job in the laundry room, but there is still Hardware all over the floor of my garage. Even 3 months after install I'm still finding nails and screws on the floor

I'm going to update this review because the real issue here was the wrong device sold to us for the city that we live in. We found out that the water in our city has chloramine, with that said the product sold to us was to remove chloride which in other cities that's the norm. By having a system that only removes chloride it breaks the chloramine, leaving the ammonia in the water. The product would have worked perfect in a place where the water only has chloride but it was more harm than good for a place that has chloramine. That is the reason our hair started to fall out in chunks and had dry skin. I suggest that moving forward you do a thorough research of the area before selling the product, to ensure this doesn't happen to someone else.

We had Dallas come out to the house. He was very friendly and informative.
We decided to wait and compare quotes from multiple companies.
We decided to go with AWS due to the following reasons:
Multiple reviews going back years on multiple websites.
The company has been in business for years and I feel comfortable knowing they will be around in a decade and not have to change their name multiple times.
No pressure sales call. (I despise sales people who get pushy and rude).
Good responses on BBB and good score.
Professional responses from business on negative reviews and looks for a solution.
Multiple finance plans through a credit union and not a high interest credit company.
Multiple options for a water softener.

Now for the installation. The installation by Matt and someone who was helping him.
They were professional and treated my home as if it was their home.
They worked clean and did a timely installation and it did not seemed rushed.
I have had no issues since the installation.
They even put insulation in the attic around the new piping they had to install since I did not have a water softener bypass in the house.

The employees I dealt with, Matt, Dallas and Theresa were all professional and seemed to care about the client and did not treat me as a number. Very honest company.

They offer a fair price. We ended up getting the gold softener.

I would recommend reaching out to them and at the very least getting a quote.

Replaced a Kenmore unit which we had for 8 plus years. The resin had disintegrated and we were having blockages in the aerators in the sinks and the screen in the feed line to the washer.

Visited Lowes to discuss buying a replacement unit and installing myself. They indicated that AWS would call for an appointment to schedule a consultation on what options we had and was told they would call within 48 hours. AWS called within two hours and scheduled the appointment for the following day. We discussed and purchased a replacement. They were able to schedule the installation three days later as it was a holiday weekend. They showed up on schedule and did an excellent installation.

They also installed a pressure reducing valve on the incoming water line to prevent resin breakthrough on the new unit. I also had them install a hose connection on the water softener outlet to facilitate rinsing of my vehicles with softened water when washing.

They did a much better installation than the outfit that did the Kenmore installation. I am extremely happy with the entire process. Thank you Lowes and AWS. I highly recommend both organizations!

Have used them for several years now. Recently replaced out water softener, with great results. New RO filtration system put in about a year ago, had them come to diagnose a humming sound last weekend, and change the filters.
Sadly there was an issue with it not working properly after this service call. Had a bit of a bump getting another service guy to come at a time I could be home. I expressed my frustration regarding this issue and today I got a call from James (supervisor) who said he would come himself at any time that would work for me, today.
He came as requested, on time and the system is working beautifully.
James was professional, on time, and responsive to my needs.
Can't ask for better customer service.
Will continue to use and recommend AWS.

I had two other companies come out. #1 wanted to replace the entire system bc they only work on the products they sell $5700. Company #2 said a bunch of muddled of Spanish between the two men and assumed we didn't understand. They actually jacked the price up 1500 based on the cars out front that we did not own.
The gentlemen from Alamo had 25 plus years of experience (it could have been 23 ) he was thorough, listened to me, told me exactly what what was wrong. Came in on the low end of what we expected. Came
Back with all the parts during a terrible storm. He cleaned up everything, wiped down everything and actually left the area cleaner than he found it.

10 stars. Love them. The tech was incredible

Super happy with our decision in March 2022 to have Alamo Water Softeners install our new water softener in our nearly 100 year old house.

I'm writing this review after about two months with the system installed. Alamo Water Softeners was one of 5 companies I had out to provide an estimate. Estimates ranged from $3250 to over $7000 to trench, plumb and install my new system. Alamo wasn't the cheapest but their warranty and the feeling I got from them justified the higher price increase.

After install I had a few more question on how the system worked after I briefly lost power to my unit. They sent out another rep to make sure the system was still working correctly and to show me what to check in the event of another outage.

Overall project included about a 110-120 foot trench back from my water main to the detached garage in the rear of my property where the water softener was installed. Then it got tied back into my main line at the front of the property with a tie into my existing main sewer line for the drain. Two hard water hose bibs were provided exactly where I wanted them.

I purchased a new home and needed a water softener. I mad an appointment with Alamo Water Softeners and they sent a knowledgeable technician out that took time to explain to me what I needed and how it should work. He also did a hardness test of the household tap water while he was there. A couple of days later, two other technicians arrived and installed
the unit. Before they left, they gave me a short training on how the unit worked. The did a great job. I would call them out again if I had to do it again.

When our existing Dupure water softener broke and we learned how much it would cost to repair, we started looking at reviews for local companies. Alamo Water Softeners had better reviews than most other companies, so we gave them a call.
Randall Booth met with my wife and I - no high pressure sales attempt - simply answered our questions and helped us choose the system that best met our needs. Great experience! Comparing our (then) existing softener and the annual costs and service calls with the Alamo Water Softener pricing and continuing support, the choice was a no-brainer.
The guy that did the install was very professional and left the garage and his work area spotless.
After the new softener and reverse osmosis system was installed by AWS we realized how poorly our old softener performed the last year or so before it finally broke. 100% recommend AWS for your household needs!

We used Alamo to purchase our water Softner originally and had a great experience. This visit Jonathan came out to move the water Softner to a different area of our garage. He was very nice, did great work and listened to my suggestions. I had a few questions and he was able to answer those as well and made the process a good experience. The username and password to manage my device had to be reset and I have been unable to log into it yet but I am sure the office will contact me in a timely manner as Jonathan advised.

I called Alamo water softener to replace my high pressure relief valve outside my house because it was rusting. They charged me 600 dollars. A few days later I get a notification from saws stating I had a leak. Called Alamo to fix it which they did. 3 weeks later another notification from saws. Called Alamo water softener to come back to fix it. They sent the same incompetent plumber that installed and fixed the other leaks. They fixed it with no charge. A month a half later another leak from the same valve. Called them again and still waiting on them to come and replace it. I have probably spent some ver 600 dollars on water charges alone for all the leaks. This is ridiculous. I would never hire them to do any plumbing work again

Dave, our technician, contradicted what other plumbers were advising and saved us from having to shell out $2,500 - $3,000 for a new system. He was able to repair the existing water softener which was already 11 years old, and give us another 5+ years on life. Update:
We had our water softener installed Dec. 2018 and
On Jan. 21, 2021 I noticed a leak coming from the top of tank where it connects with the hardware.
Long story short , explained to the front desk handling the calls, this repair cannot wait, since still leaking after valve was shut off.

Alamo Water dispatched same day and Matt D. was able to inspect and tighten the unit and made sure there were no further leaks. Also, thank you Matt D. For your great customer service.

Everything about them is fantastic.

I had three different companies come to my home and give me quotes for the different equipment they thought was best for my house. Miguel took the time to explain every single product and the reasons why he suggested those. He gave me several quotes and needless to say we were very excited with what he offered.

Once my husband and I decided to move forward, Theresa was extremely responsive and helped schedule our appointment. I even emailed her the night before asking to reschedule and she quickly updated our appt for the following day. Very happy to help and no questions asked.

Now, the real MVP was John along with his partner that helped him with the installations. John was very professional and well mannered. He also had us laughing and knew how to keep conversation flowing. He was able to answer all my questions and by the time we inspected his work, he had already cleaned the entire area. Left our kitchen looking like new! 11/10 would recommend. Can't say enough great things!

I want to thank the staff at Alamo Water Softners for their responsivness in rectifing an issue I had recently. Two weeks ago I had a new system put in along with a new pressure relief valve. The crew they sent out were a little inexperienced an as a result made a few errors. I wrote a review that stated the issue and the next day a supervisor contacted me and sent a new crew out to correct the issue. The result is better than I previously had...new control box in the ground along with a shutoff valve and new solder joints on the pipes! Jonathan (aka Paco) and Brandon did an outstanding job! We had AWS install a whole house water filtration and softener with reverse osmosis.
The tech that came out was very friendly and knowledgeable. Other that a hiccup with the dishwasher, he was great.
Last week, two more techs came out to replace the dishwasher and finish installing the reverse osmosis faucet by the sink. Andy and Michael were both great! They explained everything and did a great job!
The entire process was overseen by James, and he kept me informed about the process and was my liaison with the techs.

We had a great meeting with the salesman Nick. He explained how the system worked in a manner that my wife and I could understand. He also answered all our questions. When we had questions about a delay in the delivery of our Softner he was very responsive. The manager of installation, James, came to our house and not only explained why there was a delay in the installation but also began all the preparation needed for when the installation crew arrived. This company is the real deal. We weren't pre-plumbed for the softener and had gotten bids from others on digging to find where the water came in. I was on the phone talking to Dallas, a member of the sales team, trying to explain where the water main was at my house. We ended up on FaceTime so I could walk him around my property (Covid 19 precautions.) I instantly trusted him. He was so knowledgable, not at all pushy, and answered all of my questions. I called him back when I thought of other questions. We texted back and forth. Throughout the whole process he was patient and helpful. The other companies I talked to were going to just put a drain out to the yard, but Dallas asked about the location of our laundry room and as it turns out they were able to rout the brine out to the septic system, without having to dig a line all the way over there.

Last year we had another company come and dig for two hours, charge us $500 and never found the line. We gave up until a few weeks ago. When we decided on Alamo their crew came out and found it within 30 minutes, in the SAME place the other company had dug! Alamo's installation process was fast and efficient. And then Blake came out later to install our reverse osmosis filter and he and Bishop were so professional and great to work with.

There's a reason Alamo has five stars. They are honest, experienced, hardworking and affordable. I am super happy with my new system!

AWS was the first of seven places I called that for free helped me solve the initial problem with my dying water softener over the phone. They sent a salesman that I requested. They also sent three people to install my new softener. I moved into a new home which came with a type of water softener and reverse osmosis system I was unfamiliar with. Jeff from AWS inspected the systems throughout and assured me it was in good working order. He also gave me a good overview on how and when the system should be maintained. Also, I learned some really important things like which outdoor faucets have softened water (I incorrectly assumed none of them had). I'll more than likely use this company in the future for any water problems I may experience.

A few months ago, we made a decision my mom's house (which my parents built new and were never told a water softener might be a good idea, but I digress) definitely needed a water softener. Years of hard water buildup around faucets, shower-heads, etc.

Made several phone calls (asked questions and received bids) and ultimately decided to go with Alamo Water Softeners. It was easy: I called, told them the situation, laid out the information, and based on what I said - they gave me their honest opinion as to what Mom needed.

There was none of this, Well, sounds like you need OUR special, 9-stage, intergalactic, award winning 12 pear shaped osmosis chambered water softener and filtration system at the BARGAIN price of $4,000.00! some companies try to sell you (I may have exaggerated a bit, but not much).

They simply said, This is what is sounds like your mom needs, and these are the price ranges.

Then, we scheduled a meeting and a technician (David) came to the house, explained the exact system they'd be installing, and answered all the questions we had. David was AWESOME! He was able to find us some additional discounts on a price that was already unmatched...

Day of installation (since I couldn't be there) the technician was gracious enough to call me before he started and after he finished to let me know all the work was done at Mom's. Talk about caring...

I highly recommend Alamo Water Softeners!!!

Needed to replace a Whirlpool water softener from 2016. Went to Lowe's thinking I would select the AO Smith water softener and arrange for Lowe's to deliver and setup like they did in 2016. That is no longer the process. If you want the AO Smith water softener that they have in stock, you purchase it and pick it up or have it delivered. You have to install it yourself or find someone to install it for you. The process now is someone from Alamo Water Softeners (AWS) contacts you to setup a time to look at your current situation. That immediately told me it was going to be much more expensive. AWS called me within a few hours and they came out the next day, looked at my current system and made recommendations. They recommended an excellent system, one of their least expensive solutions. After looking at all the options, I selected a much better system. AWS called a couple hours later and setup the time for delivery and installation. So, I contacted Lowe's on Tuesday, AWS called later that afternoon and evaluated my system on Wednesday. After that, AWS called and setup delivery and installation for Thursday. AWS showed up on time with a three person crew and removed the old water softener, then installed and setup the new system in less than three hours. From start to finish, AWS was excellent. I have a new AO Smith water softener and filter system that is much better designed for the hard water we have in San Antonio. Although this is a much more expensive system than I intended on buying, I am very satisfied with what I have. I highly recommend Alamo Water Systems.

It took them a couple of weeks to come out, that's to be expected in todays world. But they confirmed the appt yesterday and showed up today on time. Alamo Water Softeners had the best reviews and were the most reasonably priced when I was looking for a water softener company. I had never used a water softener before and wasn't prepared for keeping up with even the smallest maintenance for the system, (kind of like when I was young and would forget to put oil in my car). Although the system does require some care, like adding salt, which I would probably forget to do, Alamo Water has a very reasonable maintenance program and will add salt and check the system for their customers quarterly. Jeff was the last tech who serviced my system today. He filled up my unit with salt and did a quick check of the unit. They never rush the service and are always on time with a reminder text message bf they arrive. Exceptional service!

Our technician Nick came out this morning and beautifully installed our water softener after calling to set it up not even 24 hours before. Alyssa was very helpful in answering my questions a few days before as well. Nick removed our old Whirlpool softener and cleaned the space, dried and wiped the water spilled from the old one, and installed the new softener like any OCD attentive person like myself would. It looks so clean and organized, even the power adapter cabling was stapled in. Just so satisfying. Pictures below. He even installed a new water cutoff valve and overall was top marks across the board. Never thought I'd be so excited about a water softener, but now I am! Looking forward to it.

We used this company to purchase and install a water softener into our new home. All of the staff I interacted with were helpful, courteous and efficient. Sierra set up our initial appointment and David came out to our house to test our water and recommend a product. I really appreciate David working with our budget and also giving us a discount for paying cash. To our surprise we were able to have our water softener installed three days early because they was a cancellation. Santiago and his team arrived right when scheduled - they actually sent me a text with a photo of Santiago so we would know who to expect. It was an all day project because our house wasn't already prepped for the water softener but we noticed a difference right away in the condition of the water once their team completed their work. The team were very clean, swept up after themselves and left our garage and front/side yard looking great. Unfortunately the next day we noticed that the vertical drain pipe that was installed was diagonal. We called and spoke with Therese who sent Santiago back to address our concern. We were very pleased with their customer service and caring enough to come back to make sure we were satisfied with their work! If you are looking to purchase a water softener I would highly recommend Alamo water softeners!

Rare these days to find a company that provides actual Customer Service that counts. AWS has been a go-to company for me since 2010. Reasonable price for the filter. They have options and will try to sell a high priced one but with a simple discussion will cater to your specific needs. They use a quality valve (I think it's a Clack). There was a slight mixup on the installation dates (tried to come on an earlier date) but because they gave a text notification we resolved it easily. Installation itself went well and the installer spent time to discuss maintenance and care for the filter. Three months later and the filter seems to be working well. This company is easy to work with and competitive with another local plumbing company (which didn't seem interested in installing a water softener).

I would leave zero stars if able. This company was super pleasant until the unit they installed flooded our home and garage and now they refuse to help with come to resolution. I've been around and around in circles with their general manager and he went so low as to say you can't prove this is on us. After they had a plumber from their company come out and say/show us the drain line was never connected properly. Such a headache of a company! Do not use!

Jason my salesman was very knowledgeable and polite. He gave me all the information I needed about there systems. I appreciate the fact that he never tried to pressure me into buying the day he came to my house. I hate when sales people are pushy. A couple of days after he came by I had another company give me a quote which was 3x's more the the quote from Alamo. I contacted Jason soon after and scheduled my installation.

A week later Eddie came to install the system. He was very professional and did a great job with the installation. His work was very clean and neat. He left no mess in my garage and the installation was complete in two hours.

Alamo water softeners was recommended to me by my neighbor and I can honestly recommend them for your water softener. They are very professional and I can already feel the difference in my water.

Just had ANOTHER great experience with Alamo Water Softeners. They installed our system at the time our house was built, and do the maintenance on replacing filters in the two Reverse Osmosis units we had installed. ALWAYS on time, ALWAYS do a complete and thorough job.

Excellent service. I called and got an estimate then scheduled a date. Everything was completely explained and work was completed in one day. Even with the install from the main water line which the dug by hand and under a sidewalk. On the previous estimates they wanted to bring in a backhoe and dig out the front lawn. They also wanted to demolish my sidewalk. Their quote was over twice the price.

Just had our new water softener installed by Alamo water systems in San Antonio, TX. Efrain and Eddie did a great job with the install. When they came out they found another way to install install our system which saved us $300! They also provided two quick shut offs for the system, one for the whole house and one for the outside hose bibs. They even helped me drain the hotwater heater.

The sales lady Sarah was also really helpful and very nice. Their was no pressure to buy. The entire process was truly a great experience. I believe these guys are an outstanding company and I would definately recommend them. They were also $2,000 cheaper than culligan for a better system.

We had AWS come out to do a quote, and Ken was so helpful and knowledgeable. We had another company give a quote, and even thought it was slightly cheaper it was clear the quality was not going to be the same. AWS was able to install a top-tier water softener, even though we were not pre-plumbed for one. They came out, did a great job, cleaned up behind themselves, and are coming back out in a few months to check on the system to make sure everything is still going great. Can't believe we waited this long for a softener, we can already feel the difference on our skin/hair, and no more hard water stains!

Back in the day I was looking for a company for my water softener needs and Alamo Softeners came to the rescue! Not only did they give me a free reverse osmosis system, they did an awesome job! Finally, I'm impressed with them because I didn't have good credit and wasn't able to pay for it up front, so they basically installed it on good faith that I would pay them in full. The are trusting and honest working company. They are truly a blessing !

Had my water softener and under sink Reverse Osmosis drinking water system installed today by AWS and I can't say enough about these guys. From the professionalism and zero pressures sales to the very clean and professional installers and their quality work - I would give them 6 stars if I could. We went with the gold system and am totally happy with my purchase. We lived in Phoenix, AZ before so I was familiar with the water softener game. Until finding AWS I was honestly not impressed with any company I had dealt with - they were all way overpriced for an inferior product and made you feel like you're just being cheap. I'm not cheap but when your bottom of the line/ builders grade that we don't even like to offer is over $4k, and additional $$ if you want reverse osmosis, that is just ridiculous. I'm not cheap or naive! I had literally almost given up until I found AWS and am so glad I did. Highly recommended! Maybe the owners should go into restraint business to get some good service around here!! Thank you AWS!!

We purchased our water softener several months ago and we have been very happy with the quality of the product and the customer service. During the installation, our technician bent over backwards to make our install go as smoothly as possible. We had an that came up shortly after having to do with the wireless connectivity on the unit, but that too was resolved without any hassles. Would highly recommend and you will love the reliable unit. 5 stars all the way.

From start to finish was a low key and non pressured way to obtain water softener. Ken came out and did a quick water sample, explained to us our options based on our preferences, and then let us make the decision with no pressure. After listening to quite a few presentations, we settled on Alamo due to the cost (most affordable outside of something from Lowe's), ease of getting everything set up. Called and got set up within a week per our request since we went out of town. Eddie did the install in 2 hours, super friendly and cleaned up after himself. Got a phone call 6 weeks later and someone came out to check and make sure all was working smoothly. I would highly recommend AWS for water softeners. We love ours and it has made a ton of difference especially here in San Antonio.

I called Alamo because we had just moved into a 1966 ranch house in San Antonio which had a reverse osmosis system under the kitchen sink. We wanted to change out the filters and possibly the membrane because we didn't know when they were last changed. Our technician was scheduled and called to say she had been delayed at the previous job but gave a new ETA. When she pulled the filtration unit out from under the sink, she discovered that we had a slow water leak from the RO faucet and black mold growing on the floors of the cupboards. She emptied the holding tank and turned off the cold water to stop the leak. Very helpful and very knowledgable. Will definitely use them again.

Not one to usually post a review, but their customer support warrants a review. Called this AM, Labor Day 2016. Left a voice mail, non descriptive except I purchased a H20 softener in April 2014 from them. Within 10 minutes I got a call back from Alan. I told him the issue I was having with the softener. He wanted me to try a few things that he could talk me thru on the phone. I stated I would be home in around 20 minutes and he said he would be available.

Called once I got home and Alan had me do some over the phone trouble shooting. He could not solve the problem over the phone but he stated that they were actually closed today, but for me to call in the AM and get on the schedule and they would get out and fix the problem. I let him know that I could not take off until FRI. He said that he would let his staff know to ensure I get a repair appointment for Friday.

This is the type of business owner that gets repeat business from me. Calling to see what I needed when their office is closed is the true definition of service after the sale / excellent customer support! I want to take time to publicly say thanks to Alan for going above and beyond the norm.

Had a water softener installed for my house along with a drinking water filter under the kitchen sink a few days ago. They had to dig and install the piping since my house wasn't pre-plumbed. The crew had everything done within 5 hours in the freezing cold. They were completely professional, courteous, and helpful with answering questions. Alamo Water Softeners was about $1500 CHEAPER than the other 3 water softener distributors. I had gotten in-home quotes from all of them before choosing this company. Allen is running a great company and I highly recommend his company for all water softener needs.

AWS patiently explained the products to me over the phone. Sarah was very nice and knowledgeable, the rep that came out to see me, checked the hard water levels and explained the equipment to me once again. I liked that all their parts were not proprietary and that I didn't HAVE to go back to them if I didn't want to for future repairs. They were able to schedule the install quickly. The installers were early, friendly, courteous, helpful, and quick to complete the install of my water softener, freshwater spickets(sp?), and water filtration system. So glad I called Alamo Water crew. Trevor came out n was very knowledgeable n helpful and explained how bad the water was. He helped me purchase a new system as well as great financing terms. Then Jerry n his crew came out did a great job installing the unit as well as the under cab drinking system. Great bunch if guys also did an excellent cleanup job and Jerry made some great suggestions. Ms Trudy the office wizard (she's Trevor's very helpful mother), helped setup my install and credit information and got me a great financial plan. Best in product and customer service around the San Antonio area! I had my water softener and reverse osmosis systems installed over 2 years ago and both the systems are still running the way they did since the day I bought them. They gave us a military and pay with cash discount at the time of purchase (their not a door to door business that will go out of business and change their name to prevent warranties). I shopped around before I purchased and they were the best in service (see BBB and Angie's list) and in price compared to 3 other vendors. I hadn't changed out my reverse osmosis filters for two years because it still tasted great. The frequency that I use it is at least a gallon jug of water every morning and about another gallon throughout the day. Also with no additional cost, they connected it to the fridge as well. As for the softener, it still works great with no issues. No hard water visible on sinks, showers or even facets (money saver on replacement costs and cleaning products) The cost of the system paid for itself. When they say they will be there, they will and you can count on it! You know they treat there employees great when the same person comes to your two years later (no turn-over on employees). The individual that came back to my house this week was because my wife has been asking me to have filter changed. The employee even demonstrated how to change it out and how the system worked so next time all I have to do is purchase the filter and change it myself to save a small service call fee. I recommend AWS to all military, new home buyers and even if your needing a water softener system to help get rid of that hard water residue you've been fight with. Your spouse will thank you!

This company is absolutely wonderful to deal with. My parents had them install one of their water softeners many years ago, and I've had them out for several service calls since. Once they replumbed the pipes so that the whole house could have soft water, and they've checked out the system several times between tenants. They are reliable, friendly, and the service technicians take great pains to make sure I understand all the facets of the system and the equipment. I recommend this company highly!

The absolute best customer service ever. Trevor, the owner's son, gave me the estimate. Trevor's mother and father must be very proud. He is dependable, honest, knowledgeable, and a well-mannered young man. He quoted me a fair price, with military and cash discount. The tech ( I don't remember his name ) that removed my old softener was on time, and professional. The tech ( I don't remember his name ) that installed the new softener and ro system was very knowledgeable. His instructions, on how to operate and maintain, were very understandable. If you are in the market for a softener, I would highly recommend giving AWS a call.

They started out by providing a lot of advice over the phone under no obligation (including suggestions for options they wouldn't have provided). I have a private well and the water has more than one problem, so the advice was more than the typical information you would give for city water. Alamo Water Softeners has provided my family with great quality soft water/drinking water! They also continue to provide excellent customer service. I had a few water softener company reps come out, but once we met with Alan, we knew they were the one we wanted to purchase the softener from and do business with. The no hard sell meeting with Alan was also much appreciated! He was very informative and honest as well. The whole process from the sale to the installation was seamless. The installer was also great to deal with as he was also very knowledgeable and proficient, and answered all my questions patiently. Our home was not pre-plumbed so the installer also took care of that, and I was very worried of all the mess that would occur as it required digging and drilling holes into our walls. At the end, everything was put back in its original state. Anytime I have a question/concern, Trudy is quick to respond. Their water softener has made such a difference in our lives and in our home.
