Best Flooring Contractors in United States

Flooring America of Chandler Flooring Contractor
This is our second time using Flooring America and will not be our last,  competitive pricing, great quality of products, employees are friendly, professional, and courteous.  Dale is fair, friendly and professional. We generally get 3 quotes prior to work being completed, each time we have selected Dale and his team, next time we will just go with Flooring America and save our time.  With both of our jobs there were challenges with sub-flooring, and unevenness with the concrete slab due the age of the house.  The additional work needed to have the job done right was reasonable, when others would have seized the opportunity to gouge the customer. Jake and his crew did both of our installations and I cannot say enough about the quality of his/their work.  He does a great job of checking with you along the way if there are choices to be made during the  installation, he also makes recommendations based on his experience that gives his work a clean look.  This is not an easy task when blending new materials with existing flooring.  I 100% agree with all the other reviews except the 1 negative review.  If there is ever an error or a problem Dale will make it right. If you decide to go with Flooring America for your flooring need you will not be disappointed!

AZ Royal Granite & Remodeling Flooring Contractor
These guys are awesome..We have a new build up in New River (kitchen/island/bathrooms/bar). Alex came out to measure on his way home from a job up in Flagstaff and had our cabinets done and installed 13 days later (other companies I called were 6 months out).  They had exactly the granite that we wanted.  His prices were great.  His salesman Veny - best customer service/sales guy I have seen in a long time.  The installers were awesome, fast, clean, respectful and AWESOME at what they do.  We had one problem with a counter, came up with a solution and BAM it was in and done.  If you want granite counters - these are they guys.  And Alex has a great eye - they way the lined up veining is amazing. Nice to work with a company that takes great pride in their work and their customer service.  We will use them and refer them for sure.

Floor Depot North Flooring Contractor
I went to Floor Depot on the advice of friends.  What a great recommendation!  Jeff is very knowledgeable about all kinds of wood flooring (which is what I was looking for) and made some great suggestions for our needs.  He brought out lots of different samples and offered advice about various kinds of wood for our climate - for example, some kinds of wood works great elsewhere, but in our dry climate, not so much.

Jeff let us take lots of wood samples home - his samples are large enough to get a good idea of how they'll look in your rooms. Seems like it took me FOREVER to make a decision, but Jeff was never pushy or aggressive.  When I finally placed my order, he called the next day to say that the manufacturer had had a "bad batch."  When we re-ordered, the install date couldn't meet my schedule (my fault, not theirs) and he graciously refunded my money.

The GOOD news is that when I came back to place my order a few weeks later, he had some NEW wood that worked even better in my rooms!

He recommended an installer (Oliver), who came out no less than three times to look at my layout and talk with me about the installation.  He also was extremely knowledgeable and kept me calm when we found some uneven areas and had to do some 'grinding' to level out the floors.  He was a perfectionist and lined up the wood to my existing tile perfectly - with no T-molding, like you see in other, lower quality installs.  In addition to the floors, Oliver's crew replaced our existing baseboards throughout the first floor with new, higher baseboards. Looks fabulous!

I have had friends whose wood floor installations have been a nightmare.  Installers who don't speak English, leave a mess when they leave, even have just walked off the job!  Oliver and his crew were excellent.  They showed up on time, communicated with me and left everything spotless.

If you're looking for wood floors, I highly recommend you talk to Jeff at Floor Depot North!

Moving from Chicago I had high expectations for quality of work and speed. Mike/K&B certainly exceeded my expectations. Additionally, Mike's team was always on time, friendly, knowledgeable, and clean. They even worked on my home (paint, electrical, demo, etc.) while I was still living in Chicago. I can confidently say I will always call Mike/K&B WHENEVER I have home repair need.

Apache Tile Outlet Flooring Contractor
Ben is probably the nicest and most knowledgeable granite/tile guy I've ever met.  He treated us great from start to finish - and after shopping around, our kitchen countertops ended up costing significantly less than other options.  The folks that Ben selected to do the installation were friendly and the end result was awesome.  Ben, thank you so much!!  I live in the east valley, so I was a little concerned about having to drive all the way to the airport to visit the showroom, but I am SOOOO glad I did.  Totally worth it - and if I EVER need tile or granite again, I know where I'm going - I will definitely recommend to anyone I know.  Ben sent a thank you card a week after the install, and I immediately called him and told him that he was the one that deserved to be thanked!  I will be doing business with Ben again in the near future (wife would like to fix up a bathroom downstairs).  A++++ experience.

Had a very good experience with Maria while finding a high quality remnant carpet piece for our great room.  The price was great and Maria later even chased down a missing small piece of carpet out for binding and did that late on a Saturday afternoon.  Will shop there again.

Olympic Hardwood Flooring Flooring Contractor
WONDERFUL, Olympic Hardwood Flooring is simply wonderful!!
I had lived with my dated, glued down, engineered wood floors for 10+ years and had hated them from the day I purchased my house. When I finally decided to replace them, I took my time, shopped around, selected a couple of hardwood flooring options, interviewed a few different installers and got bids to do the work. Then I went to Olympic Hardwood Flooring's showroom and I hit the lottery.
I first met Kelly, she is terrific, lovely, kind and was helpful and patient as I looked at all of their flooring options, and they have A LOT to choose from. Rafal helped narrow down my selections and let me take samples home. Once I made my decision, Rafal presented an estimate to complete the job that was both competitive and detailed. He patiently answered all my questions and concerns before I gave him my deposit to begin the project. Rafal and Kelly kept me informed of ordering, delivery and installation dates and adhered to the schedule throughout the entire project.
I was blessed to have Buddha install my flooring, he was absolutely fantastic. His work is impeccable, flawless and detailed; he arrived on time, cleaned up after himself and was an absolute pleasure to work with. In the span of six days, he removed and replaced the hardwood flooring in the living room and removed old carpet in the primary and guest bedrooms and replaced it with the same oak flooring. Even when unexpected, extra floor prep work was required the work was still completed on time, per the schedule and within budget.
To say I am thrilled with the outcome is an understatement...I'm ecstatic!! My house has been transformed into a home. My expectations were not only met, but exceeded anything I could have ever hoped for. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Olympic Hardwood Flooring, everyone there is terrific and it was the best decision I ever made!!

Robert was super quick and efficient.  I can't add anything more than the other 5 star reviews have already stated.  He cleaned my Goodyear home in preparation for a rental, and I'll use him in the future every time we change tenants.

Handyman Connection of Phoenix Flooring Contractor
Buyer BEWARE!!

I would HIGHLY  recommend getting quotes from other handyman services, before signing on the dotted line.

Several months ago, I was charged $250 to replace a toilet handle and adjust a door latch.... what?  15 minutes of their time??   Unfortunately,  someone in my office signed the proposal acceptance in my absence, so I had to pay the full amount. When I called to complain that I felt that I was overcharged, I received an apology and an assurance it would not happen again.

I called yesterday, in light of their previous apology,  to schedule someone to come in today to hang 6 magazine holders in my office.   When the handyman arrived, we were given an estimate of $375, but with a 'good customer' discount of $50.  So, now $325 for 20 minutes of their time?

I understand that I'm also paying for their expertise, but this was not rocket science or hard labor.  Yes, I could have done it myself, but felt that with my schedule, it would be worth hiring someone for the convenience.  But, convenience is NOT worth almost $1000 an hour!!!

I don't know if they felt it was OK to mark-up the fees since the service was for a business, but I would be VERY wary of them wasting my time giving me a quote to work on my home.

Fair is fair and in my opinion, they are not.

Patterson Homes Flooring Contractor
Our house burned down. We got estantes from 3 different companies and chose to go with Patterson because the contractor was such a nice guy and he was able to start right away. Everything was going great our home had been framed the contractor was responsive and upfront then he quit and from what I heard took half the company with him to start his own business. This is where everything fell apart. I was given a new contractor who never answered my calls I had no idea what was going on or when things were being done. Their workers are careless. We had paint all over our trees one of their paint guys kicked in our door and it had to be replaced. They told me to pick out a washer and dryer then a year later tried to bill me for it! They keep no records of what the are doing.... they have horrible customer service. They pay no attention to detail. They recently had to replace a panel in my cabinets because it cracked! The cabinets they use are so cheap they chip. Hardware on my cabinets are uneven. They installed my vertical blinds on my sliding glass door and made them too long so they drag and 5 have already fallen off. The blinds in my kitchen window are crooked! How does that even happen. There was no final walk through to point any of these things out. Some cabinets have holes where they drilled for the wrong size hardware then just patched it up. The fence they put up is awful and they charged and arm and a leg for it. There was a crack in every closet corner window corner in the ceiling down the middle of the entire house that they had to come back and fix. They left some hole in my roof so when it rained I had bad water damage and the entire ceiling on my hallway had to be replaced! The list goes on and on! The only reason I even gave 2 stars is because the handymen that come fix mistakes are so nice and trustworthy. Other than that. Keep looking if you are needing work done. Unless you want to be extremely stressed for the entire time the work is being done.

Express Flooring Flooring Contractor
So, where do I begin...

When my wife first wanted to go though Express flooring I was a little hesitant but he sales rep Kyle was a great guy and even though I knew the price was high for what we were getting done, we still signed up so we can get it done "Fast" and with " commercial grade" carpet and have a "warranty".

Well, to start off even though our sales rep and their commercials swear they don't charge to move your furniture...they do (I happen to take a look at the contract the installers had laying around, which perfectly state "moving charge".) Then the installers also gave my wife a hard time at first about moving some furniture (which is what we paid for, and mind you we moved everything else out of the way.) I was at the gym and had to come right home and literally help move and facilitate the moving because the guys seemed like they would not do it otherwise.

So the good part is after all of that nonsense, the carpets were installed fairly quickly.

However we started noticing a lot of wiring and strings all over the carpet and noticed certain corners were lifting up aw well the doorways where it transitions to tile. So then they send a service manager to come fix those issues and this guy was extremely nice and professional. Almost too nice, he gave us his card and direct number and told us to call him directly if something else is wrong.

Well come to find out I guess he noticed there was quite a few things wrong with the carpet (water/rain damage to be exact) which he finally told one of the install managers after I called in again about more lifting in corners and now the carpets looking worse than the carpets we previously had for over 8 years though wear and tear and actual construction and remodeling of our bathrooms and kitchen.

So then we finally start going back and forth with a manager, find out there in fact is a problem with the carpets and are told they will come install all new carpet. Well you can imagine by this time we are over carpet and don't trust any carpet that comes from this place. This conversation was on a Friday and we were told we get back in touch on Monday. Well in the couple of days I went to Floor and Decor, Home Depot, Lowe's, and 3 contactors..... all were extremely cheaper than Express flooring by a decent margin. To purchase and install luxury laminate (with all of the extras, I'm even factoring in an extra $800 for surprise charges) it was even over a $1000 less than it was for carpet with Express Flooring. Truly makes no sense whatsoever.

Now I know we signed with express flooring and that there is "no refunds" so be careful with their next day install gimmick because once its installed you are in for life and "locked up" like the old Akon song.  I do have to say though the 2 people who I spoke to were extremely nice, but nice has yet to get me a resolution for my issue. I try to be extremely nice and understanding as I handle escalations for a living and understand how stressful it can be. So mind you I have not been rude to anybody I have spoken to. Anyways that has not gotten me anywhere either though..... This was done beginning of July and I have yet to have a concrete resolution.

I spoke to the install manager about getting pricing and whatever else I need to get the install of  vinyl flooring competed but that was over a week and a half ago.

While the people are nice and they come out to your house quick (for the sale and initial install), I would strongly urge you to not use them and if you do make sure you got pricing from everyone else and do your homework.  I was able to find out that they definitely top down sale and work on a margin. No set per square foot charge of install and even supplies (which I ws able to get everywhere else)

Hope this helps and you have better luck than me!
