Best Electricians in United States

Have used Preston Electric for a few years now.  I won't use anyone else.  They are reliable and great about communicating.  They have the best expertise and are extremely professional.  It's nice to find an electrician that consistently overachieves.

Fast and flexible. A electrician named Chris came out and fixed some stuff for me on short notice. He was great.

Harry is as good as it gets.  I could do my own electrical, but Harry is so good that I happily let him do it.  He is on time and professional.  You can't do better...

Derrick is the best electrician I ever had in my house. He is highly skilled. He is licensed and insured and does an honest days work.

They did answer their phone and did come out the same day however we feel that $220 to change a GFI outlet that took less than 10 minutes from the time he arrived till he left was ridiculously high!  Oh, and we got a 50 cent discount for paying cash.

5 Stars for the Electrician coming out *right* on schedule and fixing our electrical problem within 15 minutes! We couldn't figure out why the Conservatory's light no longer WORKED when the light was switched on. He fixed it in a jiffy and even gave us some ideas on improving our doorbell!

2 Stars for the debacle trying to GET the appointment! I called our home insurance, American Home Shield, who said they'd have Quality Electric contact us. Never happened. After 3 days I called Quality Electrical myself. I asked for an appointment and she said someone would call me back. Never happened. On my second call to Quality Electric I received a DAY but no specific time. I was told I'd get a phone call *back* with the appointment call once they spoke with the technicians. Never happened.

On my THIRD call to Quality Electric to get a my *appointment TIME* I was finally given a time! However, I got a phone call BACK from them that day saying they gave me an incorrect time because they, Thought the appointment was for today, not the upcoming Thursday.

So, after 4 phone calls to Quality Electric I finalized my appointment TIME and the technician was prompt and efficient. But Lord almighty!!!! How hard is it to look in an appointment book?!?

Doesn't pay their employees after working almost 3 weeks in a row no overtime [at or their commission has been paid out they keep using the excuse that they had to pay old bills

BBB F rating says everything you need to know about Shawn Breeden and All American Electrical of North Florida Inc.

Had the misfortune of having them subcontracted for our electrical work by Jax Pro Construction. No project management by either of them, showed up for a few hours here and there with a different crew each time and took weeks to complete. At the end of the project they presented me with a massive bill - more than 4x what our electrical contingency was with no coherent explanation. Mr. Breeden then showed up at my house uninvited and immediately started threatening a lien filing. My sense is that this is the standard routine for this company given all of the amateur legal letters and certified mail that I received.

Endured a hassle with an illegal lien filing and am now free of the issue but want to strongly warn others - avoid Mr. Breeden and his partner Yossi Kaslasi at Jax Pro Construction. There are good, honest and ethical contractors out there.  Check BBB, Yelp and others - both for your general contractor and their key subcontractors.

This company did all the work on our new home. The worst I have ever seen. Can't read plans. Did whatever they wanted to do and all bad. DO YOUSELF A FAVOR. pick another company we regret our builder using them. Took Care of it today. Crappy company and Builder.

While they are very nice and responsive, their people are misinformed.  The guy who came out claimed (incorrectly) that GFCIs can not be daisy chained, that is, run serially.  

That is incorrect both from a code and electrical engineering standpoint.  I won't have them come out again since I am not confident that they know what they are doing.
