I know all the reviews for this business are the same that Jason is amazing, but it's the TRUTH! This guy is a true professional and really knows his stuff! I can't thank him enough for making my dreams a reality for putting together a darling chalkboard and art display area for my kids. My husband is extra appreciative of this guy because now his "honey do" list can now be transferred to Jason to complete. What a wonderful person and a great find. He came out fast and was nice when I met him. He quoted me on three things. I also asked him for prices that excluded painting because I can paint pretty well myself and I have paint. He gave me the prices and then he completely ignored me.

I was able to get someone from taskrabbit to replace the light fixture for about 30 bucks less than his quote.

I got a drywall contractor to do the work for 200 less than he quoted.

The door replacement is about 300 bucks less than he quoted directly from home depot via the licensed company they work with... and taskrabbit quoted me 500 less than he did.

So I guess it worked out for the both of us. Seems like a nice guy and I wish him well. Minus a star for ignoring me and minus a star for prices being pricier than contracted companies.

What a great experience!  Mr. Mac came out just as he said he would and ON TIME!  He actually did more for us than we expected!  Very professional and super friendly.  He knows his stuff!  Great guy with a great attitude.  I would most definitely call him back again for another project.  Very reasonably charge as well.  My husband and I both appreciated his experience and knowledge.

I am giving this company such a low rating because I found their pricing to be exorbitant for the work I needed to have done.  I purchased new furniture on line and it said some assembly required.  When I opened one of the boxes I discovered that it wasn't "some" assembly, it was more like the customer was being asked to build each piece from scratch.  The pieces were heavy and not having power tools or the strength to lift and balance the items in order to assemble them, I started searching for a handyman to do the job.  Well, I need the work done the next day.  I called several handymen -- none were interested or couldn't do it until next week.  Here I was with an empty room because my existing furniture had already been hauled away and donated.  I stumbled on to Handyman Xtreme on Yelp and they had extraordinary reviews.  Decided to call.  Yes, they could accommodate me.  Yes, someone would be there first thing in the morning.  Then I asked how much.  After having been resuscitated due to the shock, I STUPIDLY agreed.  I was between a rock and a hard place.  I need several large items assembled the next day.  Unfortunately, my fault entirely, all items needed to be set up and ready for use for today.  (I will not disclose the amount I paid because I feel like such a fool for agreeing to pay it.  Suffice it to say, I am a big fat dumb***t for accepting their terms.)  Okay, the guy who came out was great.  He did a fantastic job all by himself.  He put all of the items together and CLEANED UP HIS MESS as he went.  He was professional, polite, and made good conversation.  HOWEVER, I BELIEVE I WAS OVERCHARGED.  It did not take him a full day as was estimated by the person I spoke with on the phone.  It took him about 3 - 3 1/2 hours and some of that time was spent conversing with me.  I'm not a cheapskate.  I was willing to pay a fair wage for the amount of work, but I believe this company ripped me off and that they should refund some of the fee.  Well, you live and you learn.  I won't be calling Handyman Xtreme ever again.

Elvis did a fantastic job on the work I wanted done. I tried to get in touch with four other handymen and no one but Elvis took on the project. He and Maisa went above and beyond with their customer service. Elvis had this done in less time than I expected. I will definitely use them for future projects! Thank you both!

I have called 3 times in the last month and a half trying to schedule an appointment for them to come out to the Air Force base and look at our washing machine. All I ever get is a voicemail system and they've never even had the courtesy to returned my call.

My front door made a hole in my wall because it was swung open too hard. The response time was super fast and they were able to come out next day! I'm extremely satisfied with my service, it looks as if nothing ever happened. :)

My coworker recommended Nate's services to replace a door I had to break (latching was broken). He came to the house, he was prompt, very professional and very respectful. My wife was home alone with our baby, and she raved how comfortable she felt with him working there. He ended up hanging two doors for. The gaps are great and even, and the doors open and close perfectly. I'm glad I was given his info. We even spoke about future work that he'll be doing for us, as well. Thanks Nate!

Project was a Lifetime playground from one of the warehouse stores. The crew was punctual and showed up ready to work.
Enough Silverbacks were onsite to complete the job safely and professionally!
They cleaned up the project area when complete. Making sure multiple times my wife and I were satisfied.
I will be using Silverback again and recommend them for any project. From a 9 hour playground assembly to helping little old ladies across the street with their groceries. Thank you guys! The family and I appreciate it... especially the boys!!!

I was hopeful that this vendor would be satisfactory and that I'd call them for repeat service. On the surface it appeared that they were professional and organized. I soon learned otherwise. They were to come back for a return visit to remedy a job they installed incorrectly. For weeks, I contacted Brian and no response. He confused matters when I brought to his attention the number of attempts I made to contact to reschedule via phone, email and text. At one point, I contacted Brandon to let him know I had been trying to get a return visit scheduled for weeks. I sensed in-fighting between them when he abruptly expressed frustration and said "that's Brian's job" and that he'd take care of it. Yet, still, no contact from them. I've since hired someone else to fix their repair and have paid twice for the same job. I requested a refund from Savage and have never gotten a response. These folks are a poor reflection on "veteran-owned business". Do yourself a favor and steer clear.  Unreliable is an understatement.
