I've used a lot of different handymen in the past for various projects around the house and Jason is definitely one of the best I've used. He's communicative, shows up on time, and gets the job done. He is articulate and has a strong knowledge of construction. I'd definitely recommend using him.

We called Jason to do a lot of work on our new rental property.  Even though we are not local, it was extremely easy to communicate with Jason. We emailed him our inspection report, he responded with approximate prices. We hired him for the job and he showed up on time and completed the projects ahead of schedule. He was honest and explained everything that was wrong.  From start to finish, Jason was professional and thorough. Highly recommend him.

1 star not for the worked performed but the response time. I've contacted them multiple times but unsuccessful to schedule a meeting. Good for them that they're busy but I wouldn't bother contacting this business again. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone with a busy schedule, have a professional job, or need to have something done quickly.

Jason did a great job taking down curtains and installing new ones for me. What I liked about him was that he went step by step with what he was doing. He explained everything to me, gave me options on how he could do the job and was just very honest about everything. He also fixed some crooked fixtures, mounted on some shelves for me, and installed a new shower head. He made sure it worked, taught me how to change the shower head levels, and left me the old shower head just in case the new one broke, I had something to rely on. I will definitely give Jason a call whenever I need things done around the house. My dogs even loved him a little too much but I liked that he wasn't afraid of them or asked to put them away before arriving. Jason's amazing!

Jason was professional, prompt, and worked quickly and efficiently. He put together a bear of a shelf for us, when I would've given up on it. He then turned around and finished up the rest of the projects without missing a beat. I appreciated the neatness after he was done, which isn't always the case with other service professionals.

We had a long list of odds and ends that popped up during a home inspection.  Jason took care of everything that we needed for a very reasonable price.  

He is personable, very professional, quick and the work was very well done.  We highly recommend him!

I was recently referred to Jason at We Know the Drill for some random work I needed to have done at home. And when I say random, the to-do list ranged from drywall patching (thanks to the mutt pack) to installing light fixtures and everything in between. I should preface this by saying that I have tried many times to hire a true handyman (individual and company), only to hear, "Oh, sorry, we don't do that or that or this thing. But we can do this one thing on your list for you." Not so in this case.

Jason was very professional in his dress and demeanor. He was helpful, friendly, and prepared (wow... I wonder if he was a Boy Scout?). We talked about the work to be done, he inspected everything and took measurements, the worked up a quote. The price was fair and he finished the work in less time than he had estimated. He hung doors for me, fixed knobs and locks, did paint touch-ups, installed some home audio equipment, ceiling fans... It was really a long list.

All in all, it was a very professional experience. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company for anything around the house.

PS: My dogs took to him almost immediately, and he was very good with them. That's pretty much all I need to know about a person.

Jason was awesome. He returned calls and followed up to confirm appointment, was clear on the work that needed to be done, worked swiftly, precisely, and methodically. He helped to hang a chandelier in one of the room and curtains for our super slider (way better now than the bed sheet we had up for over two months!). We would definitely contact We Know the Drill  again for any future service!

Jason is The Best. Great rates, very friendly, loves what he is doing and definitely knows what he's doing. He got so many different things done in a 2 hour time frame. Fixed 2 doors that wanted to stay Open, 2 ceiling fans that weren't installed right, a screen door that was off track and not adjusted correctly, a front security door frame that was very loose and a GFI outlet that was bad.

How do you get a 5 star review and not do any work? Here is how.

I sent Jason an email and photos about a small bathroom wall retexturing and requested it match the ceiling, (walls previously had wallpaper). He responded promptly but wanted a close up of the texture on the ceiling, photo sent.

Jason called me the following day and said that the texture was an older variety and although he could reproduce it, it was not something that he felt he was the best at. He went on to say he had been at a worksite and seen a similar texturing job done by M&C Services Group, he was so impressed with their work that he got their business card.

As I assumed that Jason was going to refer me to C&M as he wanted me to get the best job possible I expected Jason to give me the name and number and tell me to call them which he did. BUT he also had called them first, asked it they would consider doing the job and since Jason had a rare opening in his schedule and was going to do it by the end of the week he confirmed they could also do it by the end of the week.

This was Tuesday evening about 4:30 pm. I called C&M, they scheduled an appointment for 1:00 pm on Wednesday, had the bid to us that afternoon and we scheduled the work for Thursday 9:00 am.

Jason went above and beyond for a potential customer whom he received no direct financial compensation, so you judge for yourself reading the other 5 Star reviews along with this one. I'll certainly be calling Jason for other work I need done.....what about you!!!!

Jason definitely knows the drill...as well as the router, nail gun, and whole bunch of other handy tools!  I was impressed his glowing Yelp reviews, and so I called him last week with a list of honey-do's that my honey just won't do. He got right back to me, and was able to finish several jobs in one day, including fixing a broken door stop and an uneven threshold as well as building a shelving unit and mounting a TV. His rates are reasonable and his attitude is very personable, yet professional. He even speaks some Spanish!

Wow! All I can say is WOW! Jason was right on time, professional, clean and well mannered. Took the time to properly measure out and level everything to my specifications. I asked him to hang mirrors, wall art and my new TV and soundbar. Everything was done slow and methodical and he even stayed 30 minutes after to try and figure out if the soundbar could be paired with the subwoofer. He did not charge me for that time. The charges were more than fair, for which I eagerly paid him. He actually takes credit/debit cards, which was way more convenient than cash. Unfortunately, we did not figure out the soundbar together, but I did later that evening. I feel confident that I will be enjoying my newly installed TV and soundbar as well as the mirrors and artwork for the time I live here and will definitely be hiring Jason again very soon for more work.

PHENOMENAL!! Professional as all get-out!! Called to confirm appt the day before- and down to the minute, Jason was at my home!! He works at the speed of lightning, and even addressed things as he noticed them(that were NOT even on my LIST!)! jason is great. he can do many projects around the house that I have no time to do, that I dont know how to do or that would take me 10x as long to do. I found him to be responsive when I've called, setting an appt to accomplish my list of items within a week or so. he calls to confirm appts the day before. all the projects hes done for me are done thoroughly and done well. several projects have been fixing other people work.

Any time I have a project that does not require a specialized service company, the first person I call is Jason of We Know the Drill. I truly can't say enough great things about him. Jason did such a great job with everything I asked him to do and beyond!He is SO knowledgeable about SO many areas and is a problem solver. He figures out the best way to repair something while keeping the costs down.
I had some drywall repair, garage shelves replaced, lighting fixtures to repair and a plumbing issue he corrected. He brought issues to my attention that I would not have known about otherwise which he offered to correct. The best part is he is paid by the hour so he doesn't itemize each task. He was very efficient with his time. He even goes to the store to pick up any additional items he needs to get the job done.

HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.  I requested Jason to come to my home on short notice because I had elderly parents visiting and wanted to fix some issues before they arrived.  He was very amenable, courteous and accommodated my schedule.  The service provided was high-quality, with excellent time-on-task, and accurate cost estimate that I thought was good based on experience with other contractors.  

He was methodical and I was very impressed by his ability to troubleshoot.   One of the tasks was to install a unique, one-of-a-kind, very heavy, light fixture that I purchased from the Tucson Gem Show.  I unknowingly purchased a light with a warped mounting system.  Fortunately he was able problem-solve and hang the light safely (while concealing the defect).   It looks awesome and is a focal point in my home.

I like to do business with people that I would trust to be in my home.  My cat is usually very skittish when anyone new is in the house.  The cat did not seem distressed by his presence, which is remarkable to me.  Jason took the opportunity to educate me about some issues he noticed with my household electricity/conduit.  I very much appreciate that he noticed this and took the time to point it out to me.  In the future I will certainly call upon "Know the Drill" because I trust the job will be done right the first time and with a smile.

If you are looking for a handyman that is a perfectionist, Jason at We Know the Drill Handyman Services is the guy!  I had new hardware put on all my doors and a very difficult curtain rod to install, since he had to drill through metal.  He did an outstanding job and made sure everything was cleaned up!  My door hardware and curtain rod are perfect and he finished it less time then expected which would have saved me money, I so appreciate that, but I found a few more odds and ends to have him take care of.  One of the things that really stuck out to me is that he charges by the hour, not by the job, so no surprises!!  Thank you so much Jason, my hardware on my doors look awesome and my curtain rod is finally straight after 10 years!!
