Sad because I really wanted to use a vet-owned business but....never received a response after sending a message through Yelp AND leaving a voice message when no one answered the phone during the day I called.

Andy is the best. I have two homes and he has worked on both of them. There is nothing he can't do,from the simplest to the most difficult renovation.  He treats your home as if it was his, very tidy, always on time, and besides that he is a nice guy who you can trust.  I would highly recommend him!

Kangaroo Pools performed waterline calcium removal for me one year ago.  The job was completed beautifully and we were 100% satisfied with the quality of the work, but holy smokes are these guys expensive! The pool was remodeled less than two years ago, so the calcium waterline problem wasn't very bad, but that didn't stop Kangaroo from charging me $350 for 120 feet of tile cleaning. So, this year I went to Harbor Freight, bought a soda blaster for $109 and a 50-pound bag of sodium bicarb for $40. Now I'm now able to get the exact same results at a fraction of the cost.  The attached photos are the job I was able to achieve on my own. You really don't need to pay for waterline calcium cleanup. I had no idea how easy it is to remove the waterline calcium.

Alfredo and his team always do excellent high-quality work. We've had them rebuild the gables on our house, rebuild a covered patio on our casita, and replace several sections of warped and worn-out siding. Everything has turned out great and we're very pleased. We'll be happy to hire Alfredo's team to do more work for us in the future!

I hired Dynamite for a bathroom remodel. They replaced a walk in tub, all new tile shower, new vanity, etc. Very happy with the work. Would definitely recommend and will be using them again for future projects.

Robert and his crew did a fantastic job on our decks and railings. Robert is super responsive, professional and does quality work. He was flexible with scheduling and provided great advice to be sure we got the work we needed and didn't overpay for unnecessary steps. Will use United again when we do the whole house, highly recommend!

Daniel and OneStop Woodworks was able to complete a full staircase remodel in 3 days! Team removed half-wall in stairwell and replaced with beautiful banisters, spindles, trim and stair skirt. Communication was seamless from initial quote appointment through finishing job. They are professional, reliable, CLEAN and they provide a very, very quality product. Price is fair given their master craftsmanship and impeccable attention to detail. Highly recommend and will work with again for future projects!

Our pool deck just got done! Daniel came by to do a final walk thru so it's still brand new but so far, we love it! Daniel was very professional! Really nice guy and easy to work with. Very reliable and seems extremely trustworthy. It's always easy to do business with someone you like! He came out several times to give us suggestions/estimates since we were throwing around a few different options for design. Not once did he act like it was a waste of his time and we all know that this economy right now is thriving so it's not like he didn't have other jobs. He would text us and keep us in the loop on when his crew was coming out and what they were going to be doing that day. Communication and keeping your word  is so appreciated and rarely done these days! Can't wait to have a party and show off our new patio and deck! Thank you Copper Sky Concrete! Great service! Owner comes out quickly to provide estimates and service quotes. This company resurfaced my pool deck with excellent results.

Same complaint as others. Charming woman comes out and promises an estimate on a roof repair. I request it again two days later, and now, over one week later - still no response. The polite response instead of I'll get it out to you tomorrow would have been I'm sorry, we cannot take on your project at this time. It's called etiquette.

I read your response below and see you agree to inform possible clients that you cannot take on new clients, but you came to our house, climbed our roof, took pictures of our damage and reviewed them with my husband.  As you left you promised your estimate within a day. Days later, more storms damaged more roofs, so I understand why you couldn't accept more roofing contracts, but we we're already your possible client and you totally blew us off. Your reply didn't address an acceptable excuse for your unprofessional behavior. Don't put it on me.

When we knew we were going to build a pool, we got 4 quotes (wanted more but some company's didn't call us back....). Randy returned my call, agreed to meet at the house to give me a quote. He was the only one who called the day of the appointment to confirm (a professional detail nobody else performed). In honesty, his was the most expensive quote...yet....he also seemed the most professional. His contract is all inclusive: if a price goes up, you don't pay the increase. Once the contract is signed that is all you pay. From the time we signed our contract to the time the equipment was purchased the price went up $7K - we didn't pay another penny!

The quality of the work is terrific. The communication is the best. Randy (the owner) or Matt (Randy's assistant) show up to the site any time there's a sub contractor. I think the thing that really separates Desert Art Pools from other pool builders is that they build every pool as though they are building it for family!

While the pool isn't finished....we are days (maybe weeks) ahead of schedule. Let me ask you this, who do you know that is any days ahead of schedule in this post covid Summer of 2021? Neighbor across the street is months behind (he went with a company that didn't even call us back). Same neighbor has been uncharged thousands of dollars for unexpected work. With Desert Arts, if there's an unexpected expense....Desert Arts has it included -- no surprise contracting!

If you want a team that shows up, does the job, tries to do the job as quickly as possible, treats you like you are family and not just a check....I really do suggest you go with Desert Arts.  

We will continue to use them post pool build as our pool service people.

We asked Budget Pools to replace plaster with mini pebble. Tony provided a quote a year ago which was in line with industry prices. We could not do it last year but this year we asked him for a quote again. His quote is now $2,000 above any established industry companies which also quoted prices in line with Budget's original quote from a year ago. Therefore there was no industry related reason for the price increase. Just felt like Budget tried to rip us off. Be aware of this and shop around. Tony's only excuse was that he has a lot of work and that prices of materials went up (which is not true just based on other quotes that are all similar and $2,000 cheaper). Be aware of this when dealing with Budget.

They responded quickly. Unfortunately they don't do what I want.
