We had been introduced to Ben at All Star Stair Railing through our contractor. We were in the middle of a big renovation and decided we could not live with the ugly pony walls that we had through out the house. Ben texted me right away. Came out to measure the following day. Sent his quote out hours later. Worked out our design and adjustment and we were off and running. He was able to start earlier than projected. They take real pride in craftsmanship and what a pleasure to work with.

Although I haven't yet done business with Alex at Integrated Metal Structures, he has been MORE than helpful in talking over my ideas with me. Alex and I have exchanged emails with different ideas, suggestions and quotes for my front yard project. He has been more than patient, has a great sense of humor, and is candid in his approach. We can not tell you enough how delighted we are with Mario & Georgegina and to the guys who all worked on our railing project! We are so blown away by their execution, creativity and sense of quality....workmanship!  We absolutely love how their iron rail work turned our home into contemporary elegance!  We are so grateful we were able to work with them!  They were so timely and accurate and always made sure they cleaned up after the days work.  Incredible sense of design and work ethic!!!

Had an old plaster pool that was in need of some TLC reached out to multiple companies to figure out  timelines and costs. Pool Remodeling Brothers came through, they were competitively priced and there timeline from start to finish was just under 2 weeks. The final product looks amazing, can't wait to enjoy it this summer! Will definitely be calling when I'm ready to redo the pool deck.

Dave came and measured our pool cool decking area and we thought he was very professional and he told us that we would receive a written quote by email within the next 2 days.  However, we did not get it.  I texted to find out if they had the right email and was told they decided that they did not want to service the East Valley. Very disappointing because we gave up the time for his visit and did not even get a written quote with this explanation.

Checked the roof and it looks good.   The seams around the vents look very watertight.  The shingles looks like it's held down tight.  They also do wood work.  They removed my old, unused swamp cooler and put in an additional wind turbine.  They're registered with the state of AZ.  They're certified GAF shingles installers if you decide to get GAF shingles.  They also finished within 2 days.

Ray and his team did a great job at our house.  Ray, from Aztec Decks was recommended to us from our pool repair company and they worked hand in hand to bring our 1970's pool back to life.  His estimates were very reasonable and his attention to detail even better.  We had a chip in the concrete, without asking any questions (could've been there before) he just repaired it, moved our existing pool equipment and took the initiative to paint the plastic piping to protect from UV rays and labeled each pipe to its function.  Communicated with me throughout the process what his schedule was and when he would be able to complete tasks.  He was very patient, thoroughly explaining how he was going to lay out the work and would troubleshoot little challenges that seemingly always pop up.  His crew was polite and respectful of our property. Ask to see his portfolio of previous jobs, he has done some beautiful work on high end homes.  I would highly recommend their work to my closest friends.

From the initial quote to the completion of the job, Adam and his team were amazing. My deck had several areas where boards needed to be replaced. Other contractors told me they would need to tear off the entire deck because repairs areas never look good once it is finished. Boy were they wrong. The deck and stair case they repaired and refinshed looks beautiful. I am completely delighted!

Got our deck and patio redone a few months ago. The whole process went fairly smoothly. I was interested in their Koolstone look. The owner came out for the estimate and answered all questions. Once I said yes to the estimate, we agreed on a start date. The crew finished in the estimated time.

A few points:

-Deck looks great. They applied their surface material in a flagstone style. Very happy with the color palette and how slip resistant the surface is. Is it as cool as our original authentic Keystone Kool Deck coating? No. But it is cooler than other surfaces I've encountered in the valley.

-We have a pool net with hooks that fasten into metal eyelets drilled into our pool deck surface. The crew was able to preserve the eyelets so we can continue using our safety net, no problem.

-The owner told us that we'd see a white powder appear soon after installation, that it was part of the curing process and would eventually wash away. I was slightly alarmed to see the once pristine finish spotted with the powder, but he was right. A few months later, and the powder spots are nearly all gone.

-Cash or check only. (50% down at start. 25% after initial prep work. 25% when complete).

Very happy with the outcome. We now look forward to spending time at the pool instead of cringing while looking at an ugly, chipped surface.

Get ready for no return calls and no one ever trying to fix a problem,  I got a door from First Impressions in 2017. From the start the lock was very hard to lock and unlock.  I called and never got answer back. 3 years later still not working well, I finally got ahold of someone and there reply was 'Locks are not covered well I purchased the lock from First Impressions.  They said contact lock company, no name on lock and First Impression couldn't tell me the information. It seems to stick on the jam (that would not be the lock) DO NOT USE this scam company, look at all the bad reviews.

I've had other installers with first impression ironworks and have been satisfied but Thurman Yazzie was exceptional. His is genuinely concern in making his customers happy, his workmanship is meticulous, and his professionalism shines. He is an asset to your company.

Geremy installed floating wood shelves in the kitchen and did a good job. They're sturdy and look good, but could have been finished better in the end. Putty was left to dry and I had to have my handyman sand it all down as well as add more where there were some noticeable gaps at joints. I didn't ask Geremy come back to finish because it wasn't the end of the world to have to have someone else finish, it just would have been nice if he had completed the job himself. There was also an incident where he accidentally leaned against the stove knobs, turned on the burner and melted plastic on my brand new stove top that had never been used. It wasn't able to be cleaned up complete which is a bummer, but the worst part is he didn't tell me about it- I had to hear from my handman.

I hired him for a second job- a pergola over my back patio. After he rescheduled a couple of times and then didn't show up another one or two times, he finally came, but came so late in the day that he ran out of time and couldn't install my string lights. I went ahead and paid him the full amount for the job but I've never been able to get him to come back to finish the lights that he said he'd be back to hang the following day. After a lot of excuses, several texts and a phone call and continuing to tell me he'd come back to hang them, he still hasn't finished the job. I've been waiting since May 20th and now he isn't responding to my messages at all.

It's a shame because his work is good, but reliability and communication are terrible.

First Impressions constructed & installed a new iron door & gate for us!  We were very pleased from the salesperson to the installers! It all went very smoothly & professionally!  The door & gate are absolutely stunning! Thank you so much!
