We had been introduced to Ben at All Star Stair Railing through our contractor. We were in the middle of a big renovation and decided we could not live with the ugly pony walls that we had through out the house. Ben texted me right away. Came out to measure the following day. Sent his quote out hours later. Worked out our design and adjustment and we were off and running. He was able to start earlier than projected. They take real pride in craftsmanship and what a pleasure to work with.

They did a great job replacing/repairing the hinges and connecting bars on my iron gate. I found them responsive, friendly, reasonable and easy to work with. The turn-around time was excellent and I would highly recommend them for any metal installation or repair. Mark was easy to communicate with and seemed to care about the end result. 5 Stars!

Someone on Nextdoor recommend Pool Remodeling Brothers. Based on their recommendation I reached out to Jose for an estimate. They were responsive and got our pool fixed within a week of contacting them. We had some cracks in our pebble in the steps and we couldn't get anyone to call us back or do the job because it wasn't worth their time for what they would make on the job. Because they took on our little job we will be using them for our pool remodel in 2-3 years because our pebble is old and wearing out.

I recently contracted with Dave Sheehan and NLKD to repair and resurface my deteriorated, 14 year old pool Kool deck. This was a decision that I made after receiving 4 other estimates  and looking at the available reviews on the internet. Dave also had the lowest estimate of the other companies that I had contacted. After checking their calendar, the office contacted me and said they could start the job on Sept. 14 th and it would take 2-3 days to complete. Kelly, at the office advised that Brandon and Angel would do my wrk and would arrive between 8 and 9 on the 14th. Kelly called me on the 13th to let me know that they were running a little behind on the previous job and that Brandon and Angel would be at my home on the 14th but won't be there until around 11 AM. At approximately 11 AM Brandon and Angel arrived and immediately got to work. These two guys are the best workers that I have ever encountered. In a short time, they had my pool bubble wrapped and everything around the pool masked off to prevent any damage from overspray. Unlike many workers, these two guys showed up when the said and worked efficiently while they were here. On Friday they competed the job and my decking has never looked so good. The guys uncover my pool and removed the masking they had done and cleaned up the area around the pool. One note that I would like to add is that when Dave estimated the cost to repair, he included a $300 cost for some areas where he felt that the cement needed some special attention and a sealer coating. As it turned out, after those areas were sanded, Brandon decided that the cement was ok and did not need any special attention. This information was relayed to Dave, the owner, and he let me know that I had a $300.00 refund coming to me. Several days later Dave stopped by and refunded the $300.00. This company and their employees are undoubtedly the best that I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend them and their services to everyone and will definitely use them in the future should the occasion arise. Thank you guys for your integrity and craftsmanship. You did a beautiful job!!

Checked the roof and it looks good.   The seams around the vents look very watertight.  The shingles looks like it's held down tight.  They also do wood work.  They removed my old, unused swamp cooler and put in an additional wind turbine.  They're registered with the state of AZ.  They're certified GAF shingles installers if you decide to get GAF shingles.  They also finished within 2 days.

Unfortunately, I would love to give these guys a better review because the work they do is awesome however; the follow up on warranty work is absolutely horrible!!! Ray will not return calls for warranty work! Anyone who has had a pool for several years has experienced the proverbial deck cracks and chipping etc. and if you replace the cool deck and offer a warranty then you should back it no matter how many times you have to make the trip and make the repairs. This isn't a one and done warranty. It was for several years and twice now I have had to hound him and only once did he finally call me back, come out and make the necessary repairs. The second time, haven't been so lucky. Sorry but I'd rather give my business to someone who really appreciates their customers!!!

Our side fence/gate was rotted and needed to be replaced.  Joel was easy to get a hold of, gave me a large selection of options to choose from, and answered all of my questions before starting the job.  He showed up early, worked non-stop all day and finished our side fence and gate on time with fantastic results.  He was polite and I felt he was very trustworthy.   I highly recommend this business for anyone!

I just had my observation deck resealed, and it turned out great. Adam workers did a great job and barley knew they were there, no banging or dropping tools. The project took about four days with the drying of the stuff they put in the roof, but showed up and completed the job very professional. I would use him again, and Adam will Answer his phone when called.

My pool's Kool deck was in dire need of repair or replacement.  I decided to go with                    
Deck Services because of their various A ratings.   And, the fact that they have been                    
in business for 40+ years (but, now Angie's List it shows 60+ years).  If they've been in                    
business that long they must be doing something right.  The owner was punctual                    
& professional.  His workers were nice however, we never knew when they were going                    
to show up, how long they'd be gone for lunch or what time they left.  I asked them to tell                    
us since we had 2 dogs locked in the house while they were working.  The finished product                    
looked pretty good, from what I could see, since it was too cold to get in the pool.  I didn't like                    
it at the separation between the pool & the in-ground spa.  The owner sent them out,                    
weeks later, to fix the area.  By the end of the swim season I started seeing some hairline                    
cracks, etc.  I called the owner again but, he had just lost a loved one.  So, I gave him several                    
months before asking him to send them back out.  They did eventually come out & fixed the areas.                      
Once swimming season started again I started seeing all kinds of hair line cracks, a rather large                    
crack by the steps & some sort of gouge right by the top step.  Again, adequate seems to be the                    
new norm.

We purchased a courtyard entry gate a couple years ago. We have received multiple compliments about the gate's appearance. Over time the gate needed adjustment as it was not closing properly. I called First Impressions and spoke to Jennifer who set up an appointment for me and called the day before my appointment to remind me. She was professional and helpful, giving me all the information I would need. Thurman was the technician. I cannot day enough about Thurman's attention to detail and desire to be sure we were satisfied with the work performed. One side of the gate needed to be rehung to bring it into alignment with the other side. He did that and then, after inspecting the gate further, replaced two gate rollers, realigned both gate catches to better connect with the rollers, applied foam tape so the gate would close smoothly, re-drilled the deadbolt latch for smooth operation, and moved two door handles for better fit. All of these repairs were above and beyond what I asked for. I'm confident many technicians would have been down the road long before these added repairs were done. He then asked me repeatedly to check operation to be sure I was satisfied. When finished the gate was better than new. If only more businesses had employees like Jennifer and Thurman. I couldn't be more pleased with First Impression's customer focus and attention to detail for complete customer satisfaction.

What a fabulous experience.  Kevin came and gave me a quote, no pressure, just a great salesman.  When I finally de died to move forward, he came back, at my request so that I could check once more if I made the correct choice.  Today, Richard came out, called first with time frame and then right before arriving g, just as I had requested.  He was detail oriented, took his time and did a wonderful install.  Needless to say, the opening wasn't even and it took time and patience and he did it to perfection.  Great experience and I would highly recommend Kevin and Richard who represent First Impression ironworks.

I was referred by a friend after a bad storm had revealed a leak in our new home. With another monster storm about to hit us, I reached for a consultation and Geremy drove an hour and a half out of his way on his own time to look at what was going on. Gave me a quick and honest assessment, when asked how much, he was beyond reasonable, and offered to handle the job on the spot, so the next storm wouldn't damage my house! You will regret using this company! My roof guarantees it!

Purchased our 12' ft. iron entry gate in 2005 and it needed an overhaul!!
We decided to give the job back to First Impressions for a factory
powdered paint job!!! We couldn't have been more please by
their employee, Pablo!!!  He did a beautiful job of removing & more
importantly, putting our gate back perfect!! This was no easing job
as the stucco alone took 15-20 tubes as well as 6-7 hours of work
to get everything aligned etc!  We had a few little glitches along the
way but between Pablo & Jennifer at the office we were  beyond
happy with their help & support!!! Thank you both & I would highly
recommend First Impressions!!!
