My husband and I have been remodeling our outdated 70's home, knocking down walls and even moving plumbing. Our kitchen remodel was a hefty job - and to top it off we are DIY'ers. Our friend had told us about their opening, so in our endless pursuit of the best kitchen cabinets, we decided to check them out. Regardless of their fantastic pricing, both Lee and Sarah were incredible to work with! They were patient with our choices (which changed a few times) and pointed out some problem areas with my initial design. (A door would not have opened well.) I cannot thank them enough! If you are shopping for cabinets, check them out.

Had to have work done on a Lacquered Black Piano - Had multiple dings and a couple of deep scratches.  Beautiful work, you could not even make out that there had ever been any damage.   Gave Steve and his crew an almost impossible deadline not only did they meet it but came in early. If you want professional quality work at decent rates don't waste your time calling anywhere else .

John Gonzalez and his team are not lying when they say Master Hands! They painted the exterior of my home and it was an extensive job. Beto was the team lead and he has a very positive, cheerful, and calm demeanor. Everything is possible, fixable, correctable, and done to precision with this team, and they are polite, respectful, and trustworthy. The team (Beto, James, Hunter, & Mauricio) showed up on time every day, they worked really hard, and they delivered high quality results. They also used top-of-the-line products, which is so important with the fluctuations in temperature we experience in this area.

The true measure is whether I will work with them again. I am already trying to figure out which rooms inside the house I want them to paint next!

Installers did not seal the granite after installing as the owners promised. Also, as a result of cutting the cabinet away for the new farmhouse sink, they left half-inch gaps on both sides of the sink. They did not advise us that gaps would be there based on the design of the existing cabinetry. If they would have suggested this before installing, we would have gotten a different sink. Now it is too late because the granite was cut to accommodate the sink we got. We called the owners to report this, Raul said it WASN'T THEIR FAULT, it's just the way our cabinets were originally built. I said this was not acceptable and asked if he would allow this in his own house. He told me it will be too expensive to send any workers out to resolve the issue, as it would come out of his own pocket. He recommended I just fill in the gaps with some trim. (Ok, but aren't I talking to the person I just paid $2300 to resolve issues like this?!). There were several other miscommunications throughout this project, but this review is already long enough. Bottom line: first and LAST time ever using L&M Granite or Home Boost Remodels (company goes by multiple names). They may be cheaper than other guys, but they are not licensed or bonded and UNPROFESSIONAL. If you have any issues with their work you will have zero recourse.

Matt coated our two garage floors, they came out GREAT.  he was also the only one that would do each garage in two separate trips, I had to be able to store my belongings SOMEPLACE while the floors was curing and no one else would not accommodate a two trip job.

Cannot say enough good things about Maverick Kitchens!  I had a kitchen remodel done in 2017 and it was an utter disaster.  The owner of Maverick Kitchens came and looked at the nightmare I had and worked very hard to make my dream kitchen come to life.  The cabinets are hardwood and very well made and the installation is beyond reproach.  Thanks so much for taking a horrible situation and making it into my vision.

I can't say enough about Dave and his skills. He was very prompt and repaired our damaged bedroom nightstands onsite and they look as good as new.  He even billed us below the initial estimate and is a true craftsman, a rare thing these days. Highly recommended if you have need for any type of furniture repair.

We bought new cabinets for 3 bathrooms a few years ago and experienced white glue residue coming from some of the joints.  I took a door in to order replacements and was told by Kate Fales, the manager, that we had a lifetime warranty.  Great!  However, there was a bit of pushback from the manufacturer, but Kate stayed on the case.  We got our replacement doors with a very quick turnaround and at no cost.  Kate also did the design work when we bought the cabinets and is a pleasure to work with.  Competent, personable, and capable.

Sub par cabinets for what you pay for. The 5 weeks to order, build, and install the cabinets ended up taking over four months. The staff is less than enthusiastic and Chloe has the attitude that she would rather be doing anything else than helping customers. Will not buy from ever again.

Cardinal cabinets - pricing was below my other quotes, but then again you get what you pay for. He sent his guy out here to deliver the cabinets by himself when it was 115 degrees and expected him to bring them in by himself? I ended up helping him and it wasn't easy, when I texted him about this he told me he threw in delivery free as a courtesy. Oh thanks, so you send out a guy in 115 degree weather who is exhausted and what does that equal? Cabinets hitting walls, dragging against floors etc. Of course the guy is hot as heck and tired. I am short handles for the cabinets and emailed him about this 2 weeks ago to which he questioned whether or not I was short. Bottom line, I'm not in the business to screw him out of cabinet handles. So if you factor in my labor in helping his delivery guy bring in the cabinets and the handles I had to go out and buy, you might be better off with another cabinet company.

As far as the cabinets go, they are very nice cabinets, there was an issue with one cabinet face that fell off, he sent out his guys to fix that, and another cabinet face that seemed to be missing stain, they also came out to replace that door. But at the end of the day these are J&K cabinets so I don't know if that falls on J&K (who is the manufacturer) or Cardinal cabinets. Rodney also discounted some additional false doors and a glass door for the corner unit.

Either way, I didn't like the fact that he couldn't send me out a couple more handles for the exact amount that was ordered, but maybe that comes with the lower priced cabinets, who knows? If he would get back to me about the handles like he did when he wanted my business, this review might have been 4 stars, but the facts are the facts.

Black's Garage Cabinets has done all of my 6 homes over the years plus our family & friends homes. They have done our closets, laundry room, offices and garage. We have never been so pleased with a company as much as we are with this company. Jim is truly amazing and has such great quality workmanship.

I am SO happy with the work they did on my entertainment center. It is the perfect color to compliment my home. David was fast, clean, and professional. We are already in the process of booking them to do our kitchen. Very, very happy with their team.

From my experience I would not recommend this business. I had a simple bathtub removed and cultured marble walls and shower pan installed after the general contractor rerouted the shower and drain. I contracted with Jeff at Avonti and had recurring problems with him. To begin, he was not timely with returning calls to either me or the general contractor. I initially met with Jeff at the job site  to go over what we wanted done, and he took notes and initial measurements to work up a bid. We then settled on the work and price with agreement for him to install our selected marble once the general had finished his prep and Jeff had taken final measurements. Upon the general finishing the prep Jeff came to the house and was clueless as to which bathroom he was going to be working in and appeared to have none of his notes from our previous meetings. Once that was finally worked out, I asked him not to install marble on the back wall of a shower shelf inset that had been constructed because we wanted to install a contrasting colored piece of marble at a later date. At the time he understood and agreed to have that small piece left out, however upon the day of installation, he had the inset back wall piece put in, as if he either had forgotten our conversation or didn't refer to his notes. His attention to detail on this seemingly small job costing around $2k was really marginal. I would hate to see how he would handle a large, complicated job. Unless you are the type who hovers over the contractor to make sure every detail is done properly, don't hire Avonti.

My wife brought in a sample to see if they could match it.  She was told to leave the same and that they could find it no problem.  I returned a few weeks later to retrieve our sample only to find that our sample had been thrown away.  The woman I spoke to acted like I was completely insane for having left our sample with them, she asked me multiple time why we would leave a sample with them.  I could see that she had a customer sample sitting on her desk, so I asked why would any potential customer leave a sample with them, to which she admitted that they would attempt to find a match.  After describing the tile to her, she was able to recall that we had in fact left a sample.  Apparently they had some drama with one of their employees, that employee left the company and they just threw away her stuff without attempting to contact the customers she was working with.  The woman I spoke to was extremely rude and said oh well, it happens, she did not bother to apologize.  We are now screwed because we no longer have the sample for the tile that is all over our house.  I would never give my business to a place like this.

The problem started at 6 months in to this new house. I went directly to Timberlake (the cabinet maker) after about 6 months of Richmond jerking me around. It's now 3 1/2 yrs in to this problem and the best they will offer is new cabinet doors... THAT DON'T MATCH. I've been told that because of so much time going by, my cabinets have faded... well NO SHIT ! This should have been addressed 3 years ago! I can only guess that TIMBERLAKE doesn't sell to the public, only to these shitty builders. If they did, I would think they would care more about their reputation and providing a quality product, and customer satisfaction. So, all I can do is look for every media outlet I can to spread the work about the shitty product and customer service I have received from both RICHMOND and TIMBERLAKE. So my first stop is here, on Facebook. I have a lot of outlets to contact ahead of me. (Oh, and these were the UPGRADED cabinets).

CABINETS ARE GARBAGE and customer service is just as bad.

If you do business with this place make sure you  are home to ck the work we had to call them back  to fix the instalation cause  it is very upsetting that after paying thousands you have to get them fix
