Established in 2004.
Design and Stone International was established in 2004 with the sole purpose of providing affordable and high-quality cabinets and counter-tops to our customers. Design and Stone International has been serving customers from all over the Phoenix Metropolitan area for 13 years. We are direct importers of our in-stock cabinets and counter-tops, which makes us able to offer competitive prices to all homeowners, contractors, and wholesalers. We believe that offering outstanding customer service is the foundation of a quality business. No job is considered done until our customers are happy and satisfied.

Had a new counter top for my home office. They were wonder full to work with. They had no issues working on a medium small project that others would either overbid or not respond. They had a great selection of products to choose from.
Schedule and measurement were done in plenty of time. Great prices and the service to match.

We just finished a kitchen and small bathroom remodel and used Design and Stone for cabinets and granite countertops. We are giving them 5 stars and definitely would use them again and recommend them highly.

Our first visit was on a Saturday morning and we went in to just take a look as we had no plans to remodel for another 18-24 months. We talked to Alec who answered all of our questions about how things work and schedule an appointment to come out and take measurements.

We met with Alec once and Amy a few times fine tuning our design and choices. They were both professional and easy to work with.

Although they offer a demo service, we needed to have some modifications done to our walls, which they do not offer, so we used our own demo guy. But we coordinated with Amy for her to come back out and do a final measure once the structural work was complete.

We also changed the flooring so I had 3 contractors to schedule.

Our cabinets came in on time and I was kept informed of delivery times and when to expect the installers and who would be coming. Everyone was on time and did a great job.

We are thrilled with Design and Stone, with special thanks to Amy and Chloe for always being in touch and making good suggestions- not all of which we took!

Buyer beware!!

We chose D & S for our kitchen remodel in July of 2014 from a recommendation of a friend and because of their reasonable prices. We chose the Cherry cabinets and Silestone Stellar Snow quartz countertop. About 6 - 8 mos ago we began noticing cracks along the seem lines of the quartz. I contacted Chloe at D&S and she came out to take a look. Bottom line is she told me it was due to placing hot things on the countertop and the Mfr would not warranty this. I contacted the Mfr, Consentino and sent them pictures. I was told that the cracks appear to be stress cracks from improper installation. Chloe told me that she only warranties her work for 1 year, and the best she could do is put epoxy in the cracks (which makes them very noticeable). This is a large kitchen and countertops cannot be replaced piece meal as the color will be off. On top of that to replace countertops we will have to redo the backsplash as well. We were told that quartz holds up the best but apparently, only if it is installed properly. Reputable companies will stand behind their work. D & S does not. I expected my beautiful kitchen remodel to last at least 12 years or more, not less than 5 years. What a disappointment!

This place is a total fraud first of all the sales rep didn't call me for two weeks after I called and left five voicemails second of all he lied about the pricing and third his manager called and change the price on me. Needless to say I decided not to go through with the project even though I had to my neighbors they were going to order granite from them as well. Do not do business with this vendor, I gave him multiple chances to earn my business and stay with the original pricing but they change the pricing too many times and they lied over and over and over again do not do business with them I warn you.

Amy, at Design & Stone International (DSI) helped us make our kitchen special! At the very beginning of the project, she patiently listened to our ideas. Then she brought her expertise to fine tune our plans into a beautiful and charming kitchen. She made us aware of options that increased the comfort and desirability of the space. Throughout the project, Amy anticipated our questions. Her precision and attention to detail was impressive. She was available through text, email or phone to answer our concerns. While we were remodeling our older home, unexpected electrical and plumbing issues surfaced. Amy guided us very confidently through the process to keep our project on schedule. Amy's customer support and service is excellent! She called us prior to each scheduled appointment. The skill demonstrated by her crew of cutting, polishing and installing our beautiful Colonial White granite countertops and cabinets was amazing. From start to finish Amy and her team get the highest praise from us for a professional and well organized kitchen update. Design Stone International is a pleasure to work with. We had Design & Stone install cabinets and granite in our new home and we could not be happier with their work. The job was to extend the kitchen cabinets and countertop to the wall from where the builder stopped (through the nook area). We also had them install matching cabinetry and granite in the laundry room. Of all the things we had changed/installed in the home, the experience with Design & Stone was among the best. They were timely, competitively priced, very careful, and professional. Their cabinet guy had someone come over beforehand to lay down cardboard everywhere to protect the floor. Their granite guys did an excellent job matching up the granite, and the seam between the slabs was perfect. They even matched the hardware originally supplied by the builder, and they installed easy-close hinges (didn't charge me) to match what I already had. Best of all: they were half the price of the builder, for identical quality. Chloe was wonderful too. If I need additional work done I'll call them first.

One other update: more than a year after installation they came out and re-shimmed the countertop in the kitchen, no charge. Sent two guys a few days after calling. Thanks sincerely goes to Chloe and to the crew at Design & Stone.

Sub par cabinets for what you pay for. The 5 weeks to order, build, and install the cabinets ended up taking over four months. The staff is less than enthusiastic and Chloe has the attitude that she would rather be doing anything else than helping customers. Will not buy from ever again.
