Professional company and professional work done by a company that cares about craftsmanship. It was obvious these guys loved what they do. The bid process was very easy and they always showed up when they said they would. Explained things very well and timelines were met. Communication was on point and that meant a lot to me and my busy schedule. So happy with my remodel and the entire experience. So glad I was referred to them.

Marvin along with Hector his architect, completed the architectural plans for our gym room/woodshed for our backyard. Hector submitted the plans to Torrance City and had everything approved for us to obtain our permit. All went well and Marvin's fee was very reasonable. He did a great job communicating with me with the progress of the submissions of the blue print, as well as giving us some advice that was very valuable. I would highly recommend Marvin and his company.

If you are looking for remodel or some construction no need to go any further.  I'm a researcher and I interviewed "many" construction companies and contractors for over a month.  These guys are the best! Met with me multiple times as needed to help me make my decision.  Reasonable price.  I did flooring, cabinets, vanity, painting and more.  I was nervous about the project and had so much support.   Had my own Project Manager who was part manager and part therapist. lol.  Everyone of the workers were great, from office staff to in house guys.  I would use them again in a minute.  Highly recommend!  480-276-1946

Chris installed a custom window to enclose an office space in a second floor.  He does quality work. He is very detailed oriented, responsive, and a good planner. He sent us a design and was so impressed that he understood what we wanted.  Highly recommend his work.

Ruben the owner himself came out to my house and installed a doggie door, he is the most professional person you will ever meet. He was fast and neat, if you need anything done around your house I highly recommend B4 and After home repair.

In 2012 I bought a house on a short sale that had an old in-ground pool.  When I say old, I'm talking about 30 years or so.  On top of that, the previous owners didn't take the best care of it.  So basically I had a very cosmetically outdated pool with plaster that was eroding away and very rough.

I lived with it for a while, and in December of 2015, I decided it was time to fix it up and add some new features.  Although this was a residential renovation/remodel, it was a big job.  I was doing a resurface along with new waterline tile and cap tile, which is pretty normal.  I was also going to do away with the never-functioning-properly in-floor cleaning system and having four standard returns plumbed in.  In addition, I wanted to add a water feature and a baja shelf.

I researched online a bit, did the best I could at figuring what the cost should be based on work others had done,  and narrowed it down to four builders.  I contacted them and set up appointments to meet with each of them to get estimates.  The first builder never bothered to show up for the appointment, and didn't bother to call either.  When I called, they were pretty dismissive about it, so I decided if I can't get them out when they're trying to make a sale, I had doubts they'd be any good to work with once they had my money.

Next up was Blue Dot Pools.  James, the owner, was the person who came out to do the estimate.  I don't know what it was...it's not something I could put my finger on, but he was instantly likable.  There was no sales pitch,  no memorized spiel to go through.  He simply introduced himself and told me about himself and his company.  Afterward, he went around and took his measurements and sat with me to go over what I wanted.  One thing I remember is a sentence he said to me during our first meeting, "This is your pool."  He would say that any time I would ask about having something done.  Don't worry about what I think or what I want...this is your pool.  Considering how many builders out there are more concerned about doing things their way and pushing products/services on you that they want to sell, this was really refreshing.

The next day James emailed me an itemized estimate along with a hand-drawn design for the wall/water feature we talked about (he doesn't do the fancy 3D computer design stuff).  The pricing came back right around what I expected (actually, a little lower), so there were no issues there.

At this point I did something I wouldn't really recommend - I called and cancelled my other appointments.  I figured I was just offered a good price by a builder I was very comfortable with, so I rolled the dice with James and Blue Dot Pools.  Boy, am I glad I did.

Blue Dot Pools isn't one of the huge companies, and he uses sub-contractors as opposed to having an in-house crew for all of the different facets of the job.  Let me also tell you that every single sub-contractor, actually every single person, that came out to work on this project was friendly, courteous, and respectful of my property.  This is important because this wasn't a new build, it was a remodel of an existing pool in a yard that already had desert landscaping.  I'll also tell you that the work completed from every crew that came out, from chip-out to tile, to plumbing/electrical, and finish application was absolutely outstanding.  Nothing needed to be fixed or re-done throughout this whole process.

James was there every step of the way, checking to make sure people showed up on time and then inspecting work after it was completed.  He was also in constant communication with me, via text, phone, and email to answer any questions I had.  This is the owner, mind you.  I really can't say enough about Blue Dot Pools and James' customer service.  Simply second-to-none.
James was very patient with me as I waffled on some of my decisions, and never once got frustrated with me, even when I did some upgrades at the last-minute.  He just kept saying, "This is your pool."

When all was said and done, my old outdated pool had been turned into a gorgeous little oasis.  This is the kind of pool you expect to see at a nice hotel, only smaller.  This has just been a great experience from start to finish.

One final thing I'd like to add...James never really treated this like another job.  He was actually enthusiastic about it and was almost as excited as I was to see the finished product.  He took pictures constantly and was always going on about how nice this was going to be when it was done.  He was right.  It exceeded my expectations, as did he.  This is a man who really enjoys and takes pride in what he does.  He should be proud of himself and his company.  I give James and Blue Dot Pools my highest recommendation if you are in the market for a new pool, remodel, renovation, or pool service.  Absolutely second-to-none.

I reached out to a couple of companies to get a quote.  Brad responded quickly and set up a time to come out.  We needed to get an exterior door to our garage replaced and he provided a very fair quote to replace/install.  Brad communicated well with us.  He was very friendly and professional.  His work was excellent and looked great upon completion.  I will absolutely do business with him again and would highly recommend you do the same.

We had a flood at our rental. The complete destruction of our dining room happened. Red Eye Construction came in and did a beautiful job with the put back and with quality materials, and in a very timely manner. They worked so well with our tenant who is having a very rough time in his personal life right now. I highly recommend this company you will not regret this choice in hiring Red Eye Construction to do any remodeling you may need.

Skyler and his crew were phenomenal. My mother's bathroom turned out gorgeous. Skyler kept the project moving forward even when it started to stray. Like with any remodel there are always things that can pop up and cause delays, but Skyler communicated and made things happen! We would definitely recommend him and his crew for any remodel you may have. He is very responsive and their work is top notch. Couldn't be happier!!

Highly recommend Sigi and his crew! Super easy to work with. His pricing was very fair. I had an entire 2nd story deck rebuilt and house leveled by replacing the support beams in my carport under my master bedroom. The work was top notch. Every question was answered and the crew even made suggestions to help save some money. Special shout out to Tim and Adrian who worked their tails off to make sure everything was right. Even when there were minor issues, they were resolved immediately. I would absolutely use them again. You wont go wrong using Southwest. Thanks for everything Sigi!

Kay Ford * Clearview - Bob Stump

When we were looking for 2 slabs of granite this summer for our outdoor  patio island redesign, we went to The Yard...and did find lovely slabs at reasonable prices.   However, the names of the fabricators we got were not helpful.   Guess they are so busy we couldn't even get them to come all the way to Surprise for a look see at our project.    So thankfully after going to a couple of others Granite stores who just show us small samples....we went to Tintas Granite... where they also have a large  selection as you stroll through their property and pick out the slabs you like.   The sales rep, Fernando, we worked with was very patient, no pressure, okay to comeback when it was cooler, etc.   he also would point out how slabs with designs should be able to match up from end to end.  Our redesign only needed 1.5 slabs, which is okay to buy from them, the guy who came out to create the "pattern" was fabulous.   The owner took us on a tour of their fabrication area to show us the quality machinery they use and how they take a pattern and turn it into our island!    We cannot say enough good things about Tintas... and they are local... and we love supporting our local businesses when they are this good!

I want to give a HUGE thanks to everyone over at Good Guys Remodeling! I recently worked on a project with them and I found ALL of their staff to be extremely knowledgable. I really can't thank their team enough for their prompt responses & attention to detail throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the need of remodeling services.

My shower is shown on her webpage and it looks beautiful  Kris has great talent and vision but unfortunately it was a horrible experience and therefore cannot recommend her. I could've gotten this same shower with much more professional contractors. She is much more interested in control and being right than doing what the customer wants and is paying for. I was even insulted, called names, sworn at and when I approached her about that, I was told to go f*** myself!!
