I have a historic home in Downtown Phoenix and needed a major face-lift done to my old bathtub. I did my research and knew that reglazing/resurfacing was the way to go instead of installing a new tub. I was not sure what this type of project would cost, so I submitted an inquiry through Angie's List and had about 4 people call me...I ultimately chose Ardi. 1. He moved his schedule around to accommodate my requests since I had guests coming into town 2. He was one of the most affordable options ($450) and 3. He made me feel very confident in his work with before and after photos. He seemed to really know what he was doing.

He came as soon as that week and it took barely 2 days... he came one evening to lay down the stripping agent to leave over night and then came early the next morning around 8am to finish the job by noon. He left us extensive care paperwork as well as a warranty. AND he also polished our sink for no extra cost. Really fantastic.

I was amazed at how beautiful my tub looked... the pictures speak for themselves. I will recommend Ardi to friends, family...everyone! Thank you for making my tub dreams come true! :)

Very fast. Very friendly. Very honest. I feel certain if I'd called a large roofing company, I would've been talked into a new roof. Instead, I saved thousands by their doing a restoration, including 7 year warranty.

Worked with Ryan for scheduling and Mike for the work. I had a back door installation I needed done and they did an awesome job! Their pricing was extremely competitive and Ryan and Mike were both extremely responsive. Due to my house being totally uneven, the installation took much longer than anticipated. Ryan and Mike made sure to still do a great job and ended up coming back the next day to finish the job and get all the finishes done. I really appreciate the responsiveness and that they did whatever it took to get the job done, even with a smaller job in a crazy market where contractors are a hot commodity. Will definitely be using them again for future projects.

James is very personable & professional.  He does great work in a timely manner.

Ruben will not rest until you are satisfied.  Hands down will work his ass off to make sure you are totally happy with the end result.  Had Ruben and his crew remodel a guest bathroom, update my patio (support beam an roof), and create for me a brand new pool gate for me.  At a very affordable price with finishes that look absolutely beautiful, Ruben will make sure he gets the job done to your satisfaction.  One night he worked until 11pm to get the project done!!!  Who does that?  Who goes above and beyond?  Well, that's Ruben for you.  Thanks Ruben and crew for all the hard work and professionalism!

Luke and his team were very professional and experienced with our bathroom remodels. I felt the price quoted was competitive and they were able to stay on schedule to the best of their ability. I've been using Eddy for the last few years and I highly recommend him.  He's worked on multiple projects big and small for me, with rental properties, selling a home and buying a new home that needed a lot of work, and I even flew him out to the east coast to work on a bathroom renovation at a vacation home.  He's very meticulous with his work and always makes sure you're happy with the results.  Very trustworthy and reasonable with his rates, much better than other handymen I have used before.

There is a reason there are several 1* reviews here. Jerry is full of excuses and does sub-par work. We hired him based on a reference he did for a friend's bathroom; they said he is very slow, but does good work. We had a larger job, a kitchen, family room and tile work. He assured us he could do the job, and the work on his website looked good. We should have checked more references. The reality is that Jerry may be ok at bathrooms, but he does none of the work himself. His two sons do the work at a snails pace, and Jerry runs around all day doing nothing except creating elaborate invoices for work and materials that he may or may not have provided, without providing full details of charges, and full or errors and smokescreens. When you ask him about the errors, that are obvious he becomes combative and asks if you think he is trying to rip you off, which is absolutely the case! He later admits to the errors with little apology, and does it again a week later. He brings sub-contractors on the job to do work without notice; you never see their invoices of course. You get no notice of who they are or ability to check them out and are stuck. We later found out a dustless tile removal company did not even offer that service. Another company was also a disaster; both left AWFUL messes in our home. Electrical work done by Jerry's crew was completed all wrong; they left outlets live and exposed. They could not figure out basic plumbing in a kitchen. At one point he said What the F*#! is a potfiller?  What kitchen remodel contractor does not know that?
In a short time we realized Jerry was in over his head, was not qualified, and was truly ripping us off, but we felt stuck. However, by the 3rd week when he presented his 5th updated invoice that was impossible to reconcile, Jerry got rude and belligerent with us on the phone and told us to find another contractor. We were happy to be rid of him and have spent months finding honest workers to finish our remodel. Unfortunately, he of course owes a refund on money paid to him for work he never did, and we have had to pay others to have work corrected and completed from his disastrous work. Stay away from Jerry, he is awful!

We renovated both of our bathrooms. John, the owner, was professional all the way even though things took a little longer due to Covid-19. Our bathrooms look amazing and the work done by Allure has increased the value of our home tremendously and has added to the comfort we feel living in our home. If you're thinking about remodeling reach out to John you won't regret it.

This was is the third time we have redone a kitchen including new granite, and is by far the worst experience.  While they have a good selection of materials, we had to repeatedly contact them to keep the project moving.  They only made a template  for one area (out of a total of four areas), which resulted in the granite in one area not fitting in two areas (they felt that filling the counter in these two places with caulking to be adequate!)  They promised a plumber would reconnect the sinks, but eventually we had to pay the plumber $48 before he would do so.)  We would recommend looking at other granite places before settling for Tintas!

Awesome service. They provided the most unique products on the market and really care about designing the space to make your dream kitchen a reality! I love the cabinets!!!

****SLIMY, LYING, ZERO INTEGRITY**** DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME
Joe, the GC/owner, lied repeatedly throughout the project. He does NOT ever accept any responsibility for his severe inability to communicate with his sub's, us, and his vendor's about the project details. Expect to foreman your own job if you want it done right. MY husband was the foreman from start to finish. Every single sub contractor that came over, every single time never had any direction or idea what to do.
Rather than having integrity and doing what's ethical when mistakes were made *THERE WERE ALOT* by taking responsibility for them, Joe instead placed the blame on me and my husband. EVERY SINGLE TIME. The project went 2.5 months over due date. He continued to give excuses from being too busy to handle the load, to having medical issues, to finally him blaming Covid for the delay.
The final outcome is acceptable, only because my husband spent the time during work giving direction to the sub contractor's and away from work to be home to QC the sub contracto'r work. It's concerning to think how bad it could've been because Joe doesn't have any method for managing his jobs, communicating effectively with anyone, and he doesn't utilize any quality guidelines.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

I wish I had more to say about BBG but apparently they are doing so well they do not need new customers.

I had seen their truck around town and found their card in a local paint store. Called or emailed them several months ago for the first time and got no response. Someone handed me their card again several months later and I called again and left a message - this time they called back and scheduled an appointment and Jason came out - on time - to discuss the work I wanted.

I THOUGHT that was a good sign, but apparently not, He said he would be back in touch in a few days, that was over one week ago. I am not in a rush to have the work done, but it would be nice to know if they are ever going to come back to me (guessing not).

All it takes is a simple phone call or email to say hey, we are swamped right now, are you in a rush? We have not forgotten about you and will get back to you. Instead, complete silence. I like to support local companies but I guess this one is doing so well, they do not need my business.

There were a couple very positive things that came out of this.

Enrique responded rapidly and was able to help me upon short notice. The work he did exceeded my expectations. I am very satisfied with the physical nature of the work he did.

However, his payment structure and lack of payment system is quite bothersome. There was no clarity as to how I should structure payment so I had to be the one to suggest how to proceed with payment. He suggested I pay through Western Union which is something I've yet to be asked.

After completing the job, he then proceeded to pester me for payments even though I was busy completing my own work during the weekend. Without even letting 24 hours pass, he was contacting my friend, who was helping me, trying to follow up for payment. I thought I had made a payment within that time frame, but in my business, the transaction was not confirmed via PayPal.

Within 36 hours of the completion of the job, he sent me a lien notice stating that he would charge an extra $400 on the job. Note that this all took place over the weekend when most people are not conducting financial transactions.

The lack of professionalism and the ambiguity of the contract services need to remedied. I am a specific situation since I am remote and not located physically in Arizona. Those who choose to contract in person will likely not have to deal with such circumstances. However, those not located physically in Arizona need to be aware. My intention had never been to not pay for services and to be treated as such within less than 36 hours is completely unprofessional

We have  a BEAUTIFUL new kitchen thanks to Bob at B&J Tile! He and his designer (I think her name was Sylvia) did an amazing job helping us  design and complete our dream kitchen under a very short timeline and within budget. Bob was great about getting problems solved, very knowledgeable in all areas including plumbing, electric and, of course, tiling :) ...
I ended up being home one of the days that Bob was working on the finishing touches and he was great company. While he tiled, I painted cabinets.
This is a small family owned business that he TRULEY takes pride in and it shows.

PS - keep your eye out on nwsource.com    we bought our Bob's tiling on one of their online auctions and got a SCREAMING deal!

The consultant was polite, however not amazingly helpful. We told her several times we needed insight for design and she just basically kept showing us everything they offer. Not to mention the price was completely obtuse. I did gain a slight amount of insight into our potential design based upon samples. If you happen to be able to afford beyond super expensive, then this may be the place for you. After 4.5 hours, totally disappointed in the experience the company so boldly emphasizes. I can get an amazing g experience for 1/3 of the quote and still have a luxury bathroom per two other reputable companies.

I paid David Roberts $9000 for a home project in Kingman that he has done little work on that was to be completed in June 2021. I understand that he has personal issues that have complicated his life, however, he is a businessman and needs to complete his contract with me. I will replace this adverse review with a positive recommendation upon completion of the project. David did call me today assuring me that he would get back on the job. Let's get it done, David. Until then I could not recommend doing business with you.

I hired Wendler Construction to renovate my home, he in turn hired D and J Construction to frame parts of the original house, an 800 sqft addition and garage.  They did a horrible job... they used 2x4's when the plans called for 2x6's, used wrong footings on the front wall of the house, used wrong calculations on the truss fabrication thus not allowing enough room for the hvac duct work, and had to reframe interior walls and a new skylight, which they did wrong resulting in having to purchase a custom skylight.  Wendler Construction's lack of experience, skill, and ability to manage my renovation, caused over 5 months of delays and tens of thousands of dollars in additional costs.  And then halfway thru the project, right after Christmas break, Wendler Construction quit on me.  After almost a year in construction, I am still finding mistakes made under Wendler Construction's management.  I would not recommend them.
