Best General Contractors in Phoenix, AZ

We had Shannon come out on 2/22/19 for a quote to install garage cabinets. He was on time to his appointment and seemed personable. After spending 30-minutes with us, he said he would get back to us within a week. He knew we had other cabinet quotes being done that same day, so he knew the importance of getting the quote back to us soon. Everyone else who came out that day gave us a quote at that time, so I am not sure why he said it would take him a week. Regardless, we still waited a week before deciding on who to hire, so we could see how his quote compared to the other quotes.

Anyway, it's 18 days later and we still never heard back from Shannon. Not sure why he blew us off and opted not to provide a quote, but it's fine since we hired someone else to do the job. I just don't understand his business mentality. Why come out and waste his time and ours if he wasn't going to give us an estimate? I would not recommend him to others based on my experience.

I just can't say enough good things about Bobby Campbell and his contracting company, Campbell Contracting. He and his crew really did an outstanding job of resurfacing my pool and putting in a new cool deck. I just moved into an older property that had a large diving pool that was shot. I literally could not dip my toe in the pool until it was resurfaced. I chose a pool contractor who had a cutting edge 3-D program that showed my pool exactly how I wanted it and sold me on it. (All show and no go!). After hiring him on, he subbed the job out to Bobby and told him I needed to get it done before the friends and family Open House I was planning at my new place. Well, my hired on Pool Contractor disappeared (his review to follow!), but Bobby got the job done....at least the part he was hired to do. He had 5 guys here round the clock and the finished product is absolutely gorgeous. I am so pleased and would refer Bobby in a heart beat. I felt bad after the job was done, because the General Contractor I hired gave him a bogus check!!! I absolutely would recommend Bobby and Campbell Contracting to anyone looking for any kind of remodeling job. They are first class and get the job done!!!

Came out later than appointment time and was promised a quote in a few days. I even followed up and never heard back. I couldn't imagine working with them on a project.

Patrick completed a very complex remodeling job for us that required exceptional electrical and carpentry skills.  Our great room now oozes style and class and has left us with an abundance of space.

Alex and his team recently finished tiling our guest bath and kitchen backsplash. I highly recommend using them for your next tiling and remodeling project. Alex gave us great input and communicated next steps putting us at ease. We loved the end result and hope to have him complete more projects in the future.

The tile and plumbing job for a remodeled bathroom was completed with precise attention to detail. The prep, and installation of both floor and wall tile were professionally completed. The project remodel looks like the way it should be, Brand New. Wonderful service, and came to work in a timely manner as promised.

This company did a great job on our rebar. They were quick with their estimate and professional. The crew that came to do the work was very friendly and kept my yard clean. I would highly recommend.

No hard sell to purchase the most expensive, which we greatly appreciated. We got estimates from other companies and were told the expected wait was 6-8 months or more. With Joe, after signing the contract to job completion was only 6 weeks and they did an amazing job!! Joe, Jeff & Porter were a pleasure to work with and our windows look absolutely beautiful. We also had them remove a window and it looks perfect - like there was never a window there! Just a great company to work with all around and they left everything neat & clean. Chad is amazing! I don't even remember how we found him initially because it's been so long that we've been using him. He's done several projects around our house and is one of the only contractors I trust to do the job right. There have also been times I couldn't be at home and there is no issue with trusting him alone in the house.  We've worked with several contractors before we met Chad and there is almost always something that they don't do quite right or some way they've cut corners. That never happens with Chad. He is meticulous and does exactly the job you've hired him for. We've even started using him for projects at both of our businesses because he's so awesome. We can't recommend him enough!

I recently called and spoke to Bill about obtaining a quote for replacing two exterior doors on my home.  He told me it would be an expensive proposition and that I should go on their website and fill out the intake form.  I told him I had already done business with this company a couple of times before and shouldn't have to be put through the screening process again.  I found Bill to be rather off-putting and blunt in how he handled the matter.  Long story short, I wound up hiring a different company to do the work.

I found G's Hone Services on Yelp, requested a quote, he got back to me within 20mins of my request & quoted me a fair price. I hired him for the job & he nailed it. Great service, great work, I highly recommend.

I called Aqua Therapy to get an estimate on a shower kit remodel.  I talked with Derek, and he was extremely professional and sent over an estimate pretty quickly.  After receiving the estimate, I called him to discuss what options would save money.  He quickly sent me a new estimate and we scheduled a date for him to come out.  The job came out perfect.  I can definitely say that Derek is a man of his word, his reliability and service were well above par.  His costs were in-line with what was quoted.  I am planning to hire him for my next shower remodel.

Rise above did an amazing job for my clients. As a Realtor, it is hard to find a company that you can trust to get the job done right and on time. I love what they can do to update bathrooms and kitchens. Their quality is amazing, they really listen to the specific needs of each  customer, and have great customer service. I highly recommend them anyone looking to remode.

We called for  an estimate I. Guest bathroom. Left a voicemail. They never called back. Left a second voicemail, same thing. What's the point of advertising your business if you don't want business from a homeowner who just wants their bathroom fixed? Don't get it.

What a great experience with Retro Pro!  Did a bathroom remodel and it was a very smooth process.  The entire team was extremely professional.  Will definitely turn to them for any future remodels!!

Golden Bear Contracting was a real life saver. Installed a sink in the kitchen that was otherwise not going to fit and I'd have to return. But I loved my new sink so I was determined to make it fit. He did a great job!
