Best General Contractors in Phoenix, AZ

I live in an older home so I am constantly having people in to tune up or fix something. I hired Five40 for a attic remodel to provide storage and even on the first day could tell these guys were on another level compared to the previous contractors we had hired.  The attention to detail and craftmanship was so amazing that I ended hiring them to do multiple other projects. They are meticulous about cleaning up at the end of the day and left me with absolutely no mess (or dust) to pick up at the end of the project. I felt prices were very fair and estimates were right on every time. The crew was always on time and communication with the crew and Shannon (owner) was continuous to make sure that I was always in the loop on the progress of the projects. I plan on hiring this company in the future for other projects and would absolutely recommend them without hesitation!

I just can't say enough good things about Bobby Campbell and his contracting company, Campbell Contracting. He and his crew really did an outstanding job of resurfacing my pool and putting in a new cool deck. I just moved into an older property that had a large diving pool that was shot. I literally could not dip my toe in the pool until it was resurfaced. I chose a pool contractor who had a cutting edge 3-D program that showed my pool exactly how I wanted it and sold me on it. (All show and no go!). After hiring him on, he subbed the job out to Bobby and told him I needed to get it done before the friends and family Open House I was planning at my new place. Well, my hired on Pool Contractor disappeared (his review to follow!), but Bobby got the job done....at least the part he was hired to do. He had 5 guys here round the clock and the finished product is absolutely gorgeous. I am so pleased and would refer Bobby in a heart beat. I felt bad after the job was done, because the General Contractor I hired gave him a bogus check!!! I absolutely would recommend Bobby and Campbell Contracting to anyone looking for any kind of remodeling job. They are first class and get the job done!!!

Oron and his crew completed a window replacement/stucco repair project on my home. They were subbed by Andersen. It took a few days because of the large amount of work that had to be done, and it came out great. Oron was attentive throughout the project to ensure my satisfaction, held to his schedule, and made sure it was done to his requirements.

Patrick completed a very complex remodeling job for us that required exceptional electrical and carpentry skills.  Our great room now oozes style and class and has left us with an abundance of space.

Had some newer reviews pop up on my radar. I feel bad for the people who didn't dodge the bullet I did, and I'm glad I said something despite the threats. Pretty scary stuff!

Alex is professional, excellent communication and fair prices. We used his services for a spare bedroom tile and carpet. All done within a few days! I will be using his services for the rest of my renovation. Thank you Alex!

Working with Bobby and his team on our guest house conversion was a pleasure. Bobby is a very talented architect/designer. His overall design from the initial rendering to the final build out was outstanding! The fact that Atelier507 provides full project integration -- from design to full contractor services and project management -- made the process efficient and convenient. Bobby listened to what we wanted, was receptive to feedback, and the project was on time and done within our agreed upon budget. His team was professional,  reliable, extremely hardworking, and kept the workspace tidy throughout the duration of the project, which we very much appreciated. The tile and plumbing job for a remodeled bathroom was completed with precise attention to detail. The prep, and installation of both floor and wall tile were professionally completed. The project remodel looks like the way it should be, Brand New. Wonderful service, and came to work in a timely manner as promised.

This company did a great job on our rebar. They were quick with their estimate and professional. The crew that came to do the work was very friendly and kept my yard clean. I would highly recommend.

I have recently had some renovation work done by Urban Element. I can't say enough good things about them. From the very start when Quentin came to give me an estimate to the finish of what could have been a very messy job, they excelled. I expected a big mess with tearing out a cast-iron tub ( a couple had told me they would have to saw it in half etc.) Not only did Urban Element get it out in one piece they also took out mud-based tile with hardly a fuss. If you have a job coming up that you are dreading, I highly suggest using Quentin and crew for a stress-free home improvement.

Urban Element goes above and beyond and I will definitely use them again for the next project.

Joe and his team at Efficient Home Pro are great! After my home's door was ruined, Joe was able to order a custom-fitted door for me and install it, in addition to fixing the threshold of the door as well. He was super responsive and knowledgeable for all of my questions, and had very fair and straightforward prices. Not to mention, the final product of the project came out beautifully, as if there was never an issue with my door in the first place! If you're looking for someone to get the job done quickly, skillfully, and tactfully, Efficient Home Pro is the way to go. Thanks again Joe!

Red Rock Contractors redid our pool heaters, controls and some plumbing.... Superb job, done very efficiently, on time, at a fair price. They are extremely knowledgable in the world of water and pools and suspect a whole lot more. I recommend him to anyone that wants the job done right, the first time. I would hire them again, in a heat beat, if needed for any type of water project

Chad is amazing!! They are truly an amazing team .. always takes my calls or texts responds immediately. Will go above and beyond for something that I can't do.  I'm so happy we found them. I need him all the time to fix things ..

I filled out the online quote request for a large remodeling job at our house. It included enlarging a bedroom, or potentially adding one, and converting our carport into a garage. I missed a call from Jason the next day. He sounded nice enough. I called back and left a message with Bill. No return call. I called the next day. Again Bill answered and said he'd relay the message to Jason. No return call. I called one last time and still couldn't get through. Then I realized if I were hiring these guys I would really want them to be more accessible and willing to talk to me. It was horrible business practice and first impression. I would have probably have used these guys for the house we are trying to sell and the next one that we are soon buying if they had been reliable.

I contacted Geremey due to an aging roof that was in desperate need of repair. I contacted 3 different companies, all who wanted me to wait for a few weeks just for them to come out. With the rain we've had, I couldn't wait that long. Geremey was very responsive and understood my needs. He came out that afternoon and had the job done quicker than I anticipated. My neighbor is a home inspector and he even said this is one of the best roofs I've seen. Needless to say, if you need a roof and need it done correctly, Geremey with Elite Construction Services should be your go to!

I interviewed every walk-in tub co & Derek was the only one who was full service for a remodel. Ive remodeled over 40x so I'm fussy/don't like change order paperwork cuz every job will 'change' & insisted every thing is on sight before they start
They accommodated me/ there were changes/there were problems (old house) ran over projected time & all was handled professionally. Manny & Gabby were great workers/able to figure out the complex/pleasant/adaptable & I  liked their music!

I had been contemplating the kitchen refresh for sometime; on the recommendation of a fellow trades professional I visited Rise Above's showroom in Anthem, with ideas and photos on my iPad in hand.  Brett Buckner (owner) helped me make my preliminary selections so that he could come out to my home within a few days to do a comprehensive measuring and fully understand my needs/wants.  Within a week I had a detailed quote emailed.  We did a follow-up to make some revisions to the plan and thus the quote.  I had done some other shopping, the bid was competitive, but just as importantly, they had done work at my home before and also had recommendations  from people I knew personally.  

Upon award of the job, I was assigned a project manager and timelines were established; tasks assigned and communication was clear.  Most importantly, any time I had a question, I could make a call, and would get answers the same day.

During the most intense part of the project, I was only without a working kitchen for 4 1/2 days; and always had a functional refrigerator.   Coordination between the cabinet painter, the granite/tile work and plumbing made that possible.  

Throughout the project both Skyler and/or Marjene would stop in to check on progress to make sure that I was happy and that the quality of work was meeting their standards.  

The finished product is as I had envisioned it and I am very proud to show off my new kitchen.  It's time to get down to some serious cooking!  Bon appetite!

We called for  an estimate I. Guest bathroom. Left a voicemail. They never called back. Left a second voicemail, same thing. What's the point of advertising your business if you don't want business from a homeowner who just wants their bathroom fixed? Don't get it.

What a great experience with Retro Pro!  Did a bathroom remodel and it was a very smooth process.  The entire team was extremely professional.  Will definitely turn to them for any future remodels!!

After researching a few contractors, I chose Golden Bear contracting to do our 3 bathroom remodels. I could not have been happier with my choice. Mike did an outstanding job. He put in new countertops, sinks, faucets, flooring, mirrors, tile, reconfigured our shower, enclosed our tub, painted, etc. He was so easy to talk to, was always available to answer my many questions, such a hard worker, very responsible, and reliable.
