I worked almost exclusively with Rob when I called JVR Contracting.  I purchased a home at the beginning of February, and I made a purchase offer knowing that the back patio ceiling and roof needed to be replaced.  After closing on the home, I talked to Rob so that he could come out and have a look.

I ended up getting three different contractors to come out and take a look.  Rob wasn't the cheapest of the three offers, but the reason I chose him was because he seemed to be the most knowledgeable of the three when it came to re-roofing the patio.  The framing and painting don't really mean anything if a crappy roof goes on top that leaks like crazy.

Rob's crew came out on a Friday morning, and they were done demolishing, reframing, reroofing, and repainting by about 2:30 on Saturday afternoon.  I think that's pretty impressive.  I waited to leave a review until I had a friend out who used to work as a general contractor, and he approved.  My patio, which previously looked like it was about to cave in, is now a pleasant place to pass an afternoon in the shade.

Rob is a very interesting guy.  He knows his stuff, and he can pretty much build or repair anything that might exist in a home.  I talked to him a half dozen times over the course of the project, and he always had a good answer.  He was very good at communicating what to expect at every step of the way, and he was willing to work with my schedule even when I wasn't sure I could take time off of work to ensure that his workers had access to my back yard.

The next time I need any type of renovation work on my home, I'm likely to give Rob a call.

Wish I could give a better review but the dude never showed up. I don't understand people that set appointments and don't follow through. The awful part is that he had my address and phone number, and who knows what he'll do with it. He didn't call, didn't message, nothing. I finally responded through Yelp and told him I was sorry that he didn't show and that we would be seeking assistance from another business. His response was a vague sorry for the inconvenience. No reason, no explanation, nothing. Do NOT recommend using this business.

Michael is a lifesaver.  I just moved into a new rental and had the gas turned on but the gas company employee couldn't start the water heater.  He incorrectly stated the thermal coupling needed to be replaced.  Mind you it is a brand new water heater. Michael came over immediately after I reached out and was able to light the heater within minutes.  My issue was resolved in less than an hour.  Michael is a guy to have listed in your contacts.  Amazing, top notch service!

My husband and I met Ed and Brian with EJK & Sons Construction after interviewing 4 other builders. Their team had just finished remodeling our neighbor's house who suggested we meet them. I knew immediately it was Ed's company I wanted to use. Both he and his project manager Brian, are knowledgeable, friendly, and very easy to work with. They provide guidance to keep you on track without a lot of pressure. We had the bid and time to completion estimate within 2 days.
Ed kept us on budget throughout the project and if we wanted to add anything, he made us aware of additional costs ahead of time. Also, if we thought anything needed to be addressed throughout the project, it was done so almost immediately.
We did not use a designer and so I had what seemed like hundreds of decisions to be made over the 3 months it took them to finish. Both Ed and Brian were always a phone call or text away ready to assist in any way possible. It actually felt like I was calling a friend or family member to help me. I would not have been able to do it without them.
One last point to mention are the team of men working for them. They are all friendly, respectful, and meticulous at what they do. Our finished home is absolutely gorgeous! There was not hardly anything that needed to be addressed.
I have heard that remodeling can be a nightmare and take so much longer than planned. EJK & Sons  actually made remodeling our entire house fun and it finished on schedule.
If you are building or need remodeling of any kind, I highly recommend giving Ed with EJK & Sons Construction a call. You will not be disappointed!

These guys are absolutely the best! They repaired my stucco fence walls and replaced fascia on the eaves of my house (even had to build a scaffolding over my pool to do so!). They were prompt, courteous, and professional in every way.

We had Bill out today to repair a hole that our ac guy made repairing a leak in the wall. We are happy with the quality of work and the overall price to patch. Bill was friendly and left a clean worksite. I have high expectations being that I am a business owner and work in the service field. We recently moved into our new Toll Brothers home and had a challenging time looking for a good contractor that will design my entertainment wall at a reasonable and fair price.  With the recent challenges we all face with contractors taking advantage of price spikes, and long wait time for a project to begin, Canterra Construction beat the competitor's reliability and price!  Initially, I contracted for an entertainment wall design with them.  Cathy took it to a personal level in designing my wall and brought samples of stones and tiles.  She factored in my interior designs, colors, and furniture to select the best.  And wow, my husband and I are so amazed with the professionalism, reliability, designs, and the material used for our wall that it became one of the wow factors of my home!  Because of this company's professionalism and awesome work, I continued to contract them for my back and front yard.  Again, Cathy understood our goal.  She uniquely put together another great design at an affordable price.  Next contract is for accent walls and designs for all my rooms.  I am excited for this project. Summer is coming and we all know it's going to get really hot! Insulation in my attic has been on my mind and I reached out to Insulation Contractors of Arizona to see how it will work for pricing and timeline. They were extremely responsive on Yelp, got an estimate quickly and was able to be booked the same week. Got to love that quick service!

When they showed up the day of, they explained to me on to let me know what they are going to do, how long it will take and to even answer some of my silly questions on the process. They finished the entire job under two hours and even cleaned up any mess they left. My attic now looks like a winter wonderland and hopefully my house will be extra cooler this summer. Highly recommend them for insulation! Great job guys!

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

We had an overall positive experience with McCurdy Construction on the remodel of our master bathroom.  In our opinion, the quality of the workmanship and materials was top notch.  The design phase with Kaitlyn was clear, pleasant, and insightful.  The team that worked on our project - Anthony, Zach, Eric, and all of the others - were polite, professional, experienced and knowledgeable.  We felt like they were up-front with us when issues came up and give us a clear picture of our options.  They were respectful of our home, taking the time to protect the areas that they were working in.  We have been very pleased with the final outcome.

Our only critiques are that communication was challenging at the beginning of the project, as we were promised an initial bid within two weeks' time.  That didn't happen, and it was difficult to establish regular, reliable communication.  It was also estimated when the construction phase on our project began in early January that it would be completed by the end of February, perhaps spilling into March a bit.  There were long stretches when no work or minimal work occurred, and the project was completed in May. This was longer than we were anticipating and created some challenges for our family.  

Overall, we were happy with the outcome and would use them again when the need or situation arises.

Danny recently completed  two projects for me. One was a laminate flooring and subway tile backsplash installation. The other job was replacing two toilets.  Both jobs were completed above expectations. People have even commented  how great the flooring and backsplash  look. Both were completed on time and within the budget. The jobs were left clean every day that his crew was working on them. He finished the plumbing job in a couple hours. Having worked  with construction trades people in the past, Danny is a true professional. He knows how to price a job and get it done within the time frame he quotes.  I will call him first for all my renovation needs. He will probably be busy, but I will wait for the quality work.

I was having some issues with a couple different leaks at my home. Donnie ended up coming by and taking a look at the problems I was having. He went through the trouble of diagnosing the leaks with a garden hose and after realizing it was a not a roof issue but a door issue he even gave me some recommendations of what could be done for the problem even though it was outside His scope of work. I will definitely keep his number on hand for future Roofing related problems, an honest contractor can be hard to come by!

We had a wonderful experience with lifetime and especially with Kyle who was in charge of our project!! He went above and beyond and continued to stay in touch and was very hands on making sure everything was perfect for us!

I called Gordon Enterprises Contracting with regard to a renovation and they got back to me almost immediately. The owner, Alex was extremely personable and knowledgeable. We set up a meeting to discuss a large-scale bathroom and kitchen renovation. Alex was able to give me a timely free estimate and scope of work. We had met with other contractors prior and in comparison we are so glad we went with GEC. They are family owned and operated, prices are competitive and our extensive renovations were completed on time. He and his guys were always on time and professional on-site. They walked us through every step of the renovation process. Their vast experience and professional demeanor get my recommendation! I will always go to GEC for any future projects.
