We hired this company to completely replace our roof in Phoenix. Let me start by saying that John and Gustavo were great to work with they made the process so smooth and easy for us especially with us being out of state.  Gustavo kept us up to date every step of the way and answered all of our questions and concerns in a timely manner. Very professional company. Scott was always available to answer questions both by text and by phone. The crew showed up early for the job which was competitively priced with other quotes. The crew were relatively quiet with their work and respectful to our property. They cleaned up after themselves and left the job site as they found it. I would recommend this company if you have roofing needs.

I had a few companies that contacted to get my roof replaced, this was the only company to get up on the roof and inspect it to know exactly what needed to be done. They took the time to sit with me and go over the materials and make recommendations. My insurance didn't want to cover some of the damage and Jorge and his team went out of their way to make sure the insurance company knew exactly what the damage was so my entire roof could be replaced. I'm very pleased with the result I would definitely recommend!!

Melvin at Monsoon Roofing and his crew are an absolutely stellar company to deal with. To begin, Melvin responded promptly to my request for a view of a roof leak we had. He examined the problem and gave me two options. The first was a partial repair to replace the underlayment on a portion of the roof and the second was a total replacement of the underlayment.

Our home was a 15 year old spec home when built. It, like many spec homes, only had one layer of underlayment. Eventually at 15 to 20 years the underlayment deteriorates while the tile may appear to be good.

I decided to have a total repair and they company showed up at 6:30 sharp every morning. They removed the roof tile and then removed the underlayment. They replaced damaged plywood and then added two layers of underlayment. The work was done professionally and promptly.

I would recommend this company without reservation to anyone who needs roofing repair.

Often times people look through Yelp and see short reviews with 5 stars because it's always hard to write long positive reviews, but easy to write long negative reviews.  Every 5 star review of Urban Desert Pest Control is spot on.  I try to write all of my reviews as accurate and honest as possible.  I think it is important to dissect a company and give an accurate rating with a thorough explanation so consumers know what to expect from a person/ company and the type of people/company they are going to be involved with.

One of the most important aspects of a company is how they treat their customers.  Brad excels in every way with his customer service.  His actions epitomize what it means to go above and beyond for his customers.  Brad's communication skills and availability to his customers is unrivaled.  My personal situation involved a roof rat.  Not just any roof rat though.  This sucker found it's way into my dog food, my cabinets, my son's top bunk, my laundry, and our kids' toys.  I was on the verge of ordering a missile strike on my own home due to the problems and frustration this despicable rodent was causing my family.  I jumped on Yelp in search of Exterminators and actually messaged several companies.  The Yelp listing for Urban Desert Pest Control said, Responds to quote requests in about 1 hour.  Well, this was WAY off because Brad called me within what felt like seconds of messaging him.  The initial phone call felt personal and Brad was genuinely interested in how he could help with my situation.  Throughout the entirety of the conversation, Brad focused on ME and MY PROBLEM, not how much he charged or his availability to assist me.  He stopped everything he was doing to address MY issue.  Now, it should be known I had pleasant conversations with other companies on Yelp, but Brad's communication skills, and his ability to make me feel special (hey, everyone likes some extra attention now and then), was why I stuck with Brad throughout the removal process.  It also helped that Brad convinced me to not follow through with a missile strike on my house.

I leave you with this, usually it is easy to find something negative to say about a person or company because 99% of the time there is at least ONE issue that arises.  Well, my situation fell in that 1%.  The cons to using Urban Desert Pest Control are as follows:

NOPE, can't think of a single legitimate reason to NOT call and speak with Brad.  Brad gained a customer for life with our family.

I was stung by 2 scorpions last spring after never coming across one in the previous 2 years in my home. Went with Insectek's bimonthly treatment plan after a recommendation from my cousin. After the first treatment, there was an initial increase in activity, spotting 5-6 that first month which was likely a result of them fleeing their hiding spots. You could tell they were not healthy as a result. It was not fun seeing that many scorpions around, but understandable. Since then, activity has greatly decreased. In the past 8 months, I've only seen 5-6 with all but one already being dead. They were also primarily found in the garage, patio, or close to the exterior. Wayne and the other techs been great to work with as they're always friendly and knowledgeable. I'm very happy with the results thus far.

This was our second month using Simply Green and so far it has been very good. The product has worked well and the service has been great. I would recommend them.

We used West Coast for pigeon control at our home. They quickly provided us a quote and within a week of approving were out to perform the services. I love that they send pictures of the job done and their clean up was amazing. They reply quickly and are very friendly. Highly recommend you use them.

I called this business to get an estimate for tile roof repair and no one ever called me back.  Bad business ethic.  They have an answering service, so there is no excuse.  Probably if I would have said that I needed a NEW roof, I would have received a call.  I even gave them the name of the person who referred them to me.

Got a new roof with this so call roof company by them coming around and offering their services by using our insurance claim.  They installed the new roof in July 2022 and of course no rain but come the rains in October, we notice water coming through the ceiling.  I contacted their office and they were so extremely rude and kept giving me excuses on why it's not their problem.  It's definitely their problem because we never had a leak not even on the old roof.  But now we have a leak on the roof.  Anyways I have tried to contact them and they are just hard to work with.  They are super friendly till they get their money and then their true colors do come out.  Now we just had more rain in December 2022 on now we noticed other locations that are leaking.  The work looks very mediocre for sure.  I would suggest for anyone to stay away from this company and get a more reputable company that stands by their work.  My email is      [email protected]

Gardiel and his team were great to work with and did a great job on our backyard landscaping. We had grass, sprinklers and concrete demoed by them and they installed a travertine circular patio & extended our existing patio and walkway to the side gate, installed new turf, raised our wall, installed pavers on our side yard, added rock, misters & landscape lighting. I would definitely recommend them, they did a fantastic job at my home!

Locally owned family company. Bill came out for an estimate and brought his ladder, got on our roof and did a thorough inspection. He wrote up a complete estimate, went over it line by line with us. Offered a cash discount. Workers showed up exactly when promised. Finished the job a day early, cleaned up the yard. Bill came back the following day and got on roof for inspection. He though the paint on vents didn't match so sent sister back next day to repaint vents. Extremely conscientious and fair. I highly recommend this company, they have been around for 40 years. And his price was better than the other contractor who came out but never got on the roof!
