New Life Roofing

Hands down Best Roofing Company in town. After the last hail storm my roof was in need of replacement. Did my research and got 5 estimates from the highest rated companies I could find. All 5 companies sent out a different form of the same arrogant/shady type guy (one I'm pretty sure was still drunk from the night before) and I did not feel good about doing business with any of them. My father in-law raved about New Life as he'd been using them for nearly 30 years, said that the owner Richard was the most ethical person he'd ever met. No truer words could be spoken. Upon meeting Richard it was like night and day from the other guys. Knowledgeable yet didn't talk down to this complete roofing idiot. Soft spoken, patient and accommodating, he handled our special needs like a pro. On top of hail damage, we chimney issues and needed a new AC. Not to mention still dealing with insurance. We hadn't even agreed to use Richard and our small roofing  job probably wasn't gonna be making him rich, yet he agreed to meet our insurance adjuster on our roof to go over our damage. He showed up free of charge and when he and the adjuster were through the adjuster said Rich was the coolest roofer he's ever dealt with. LOL!!!

So when it finally came to our home renovation project Rich was who we ran with. Not only did he take care of our roof replacement and chimney repair, he referred us to a great AC company and also a rain gutter company. Then he coordinated with all the above so that everything was done together, seamlessly and stress free on my end...

Lastly, I'd like to mention I put Rich and his crew through hell as I hoovered over the whole project like a helicopter parent, questioning everything and adding things as they worked. They never lost patience with me even in all my finickiness and talk about Cool... I called Rich while I was at Home Depot realizing we are about to have a freak rain storm in the middle of our install (over weekend). Rich answers and says did you check your text??? I climbed up on your roof and put an extra layer of protection around your chimney in case it rained, did it about an hour ago. WOW!!!

I couldn't be happier with Choosing New Life Roofing for this project. Richard and his crew went above and beyond to make this high maintenance customer happy as a bug in a rug... Thanks Rich!!!

Our roof developed a leak and had rotted fascia and other issues. Richard, Scott and their crew did a fantastic job replacing our 30 year old tile roof. They used only the highest quality materials. They patiently worked with us to find a 3rd color of tile to give the mottled look we wanted. Each member of the crew was professional and courteous. Finished just ahead of the monsoon rains! Can't say enough about these people.

We had them come on and strip a wood shake roof and replace with asphalt shingle. Main home and detached garage.

First, price.  A great price well within our estimates and budget. We received an itemized estimate, worked with them to deal with some issues that they were very happy to handle, and resolved all permits.

Mind you, the city folks downtown at the permit office will not always give you correct info. Our visit downtown had them telling us we needed to hire a Structural Engineer followed by another engineer to approve. This was above the usual city inspections. New Life went downtown and straightened them out.

They did tidy demo and removal. Showed up promptly each day. Did really great work and nice folks.

This company has no follow through whatsoever. Do not ever use this company. I am extremely upset with these people and decided to go with a different company. They seem nice on the telephone, but they do NOT follow through on what they promise AT ALL!

We were referred to this company by a family, they did a great job on the addition last summer no complaints whatsoever.

It looks like they may have an issue of returning people's calls back to provide estimates, I guess they need to work on that aspect of their business.

As with other posters, I have never gotten a call back from this company, although I have used them in the past.  The receptionist always says you will get a call later in the day.  This is every time I call.  I have used their company in the past for patio cover repairs.  They're too small to handle catastrophes but what's worse is that they won't honesty tell you that they can't.  They just keep on promising to call.  I called Scott Roofing & got an appointment 2 days later.

Terrible - terrible - terrible - do I even have to give 1 star.  

Like other posts, I never had a return call back.  I called 4 days ago and the estimator never called back.  I called again today and verified my phone number thinking they wrote it down wrong.  They had the correct number and the receptionist assured me she would relay it to the person who would set up the appointment with a call back today.  No call back at all.

There is not any storm or other damage now in Phoenix so absolutely no excuse.  I will take my repair business elsewhere as now even if they called me back, I would not trust any start dates for repair work with this flaky company.

I first used New Life Roofing a couple of years ago when I had a leak.  Of the four companies who came to look at it, New Life was the only one honest enough to say that it could be repaired.  Every other company tried to tell me I needed a new roof.  When I ha storm damage this week, I called on Tuesday morning.  Richard returned my call promptly.  He was at my house first thing Wednesday morning and had a crew out early Thursday morning to do the repairs necessary to make sure the roof would hold if there was another storm.  His crew was polite and accommodating.  I would not call anyone else for roofing repairs.

These guys were referred to me by a friend who was very satisfied with their price and service.  They put on a whole new roof for me and I too was more than pleased and have since referred them to others.  Another home we own has a small leak from last week's storm.  I called New Life this afternoon, they remembered who I was, and they are coming to look at my problem Wednesday.  If my future experience with this company changes, I will update the review but my experience with New Life Roofing has been excellent.

Just called to get an estimate on roof damage from the wind.  Receptionist asked if I was already a customer.  I said no.  She said they no longer accept new customers because they are so overbooked from the hail storm back in October.  Well sucks for you cause I needed an entire new roof people!  Would steer clear of them.

I called this business to get an estimate for tile roof repair and no one ever called me back.  Bad business ethic.  They have an answering service, so there is no excuse.  Probably if I would have said that I needed a NEW roof, I would have received a call.  I even gave them the name of the person who referred them to me.

I had a complete roof done by them and they were so expertly professional that I was completely satisfied. I am used to dealing with contractors and have been had by a few. This company was soooo up front, clean, and did an incredible job. They never tried to upsell me, but when I asked about better attic ventillation, they offered an esthetically pleasing yet effective solution at minimal additional cost. I can't say enough good about them! My roof looks fabulous!

I have used this company in the past for small repairs.  Was happy to return to them for a complete new roof.  The workers were professional, efficient, and cleaned up the area afterwards.  The roof was completed as promised with high quality materials and workmanship.  The work team leader kept us up to date on what was going on and answered all our questions.  We are very happy with this investment.
