We recently had all of the old underlayment on our tile roof replaced by In-Ex Designs and it was a great experience! From start to finish, beginning with Daryl, the entire team we dealt with was friendly, efficient and truly cared about doing a good job. We were impressed with how hard the crew onsite worked to get the job done, especially given temperatures in the low 100's. We are very happy with the results and will definitely recommend this company to our friends and colleagues!

We just completed an outstanding re-roofing experience; as well as Elastomeric coating on patio cover with In-Ex Designs. With our first consult with Daryl and thorough explanation of the process we were sold, no need for another bid. We had observed the workmanship of the roofing team on several houses on our block and were able to actually meet the team in person. The job began every day at 7:00 and finished at 4:00, with the hard-working crew led by Luis! At the end of day there was not a speck of debris or one nail to be found anywhere, amazing! Daily supervision was under the leadership of Johnny who managed and answered any questions we might have. The job was completed in three days with anywhere from 5 -10 guys banging it out and a complete inspection by Johnny followed within two days. Scott was amazing!! I was very impressed with this company overall! I can't say enough good things about Scott and how much he went out of his way to help us get our entire roof replaced and working with our insurance company's adjuster.  Scott was very professional, super friendly, honest and answered every single question we had. Kept me updated on the timelines of the work and when things would be completed. The crew was always on time, worked very well together and because they stayed a little longer than normal to finish the work, I bought them lunch and beverages to cool them down and keep them happy!  They were very clean and respected our property. I am so very grateful now and can be at ease when the Monsoon storms hit us again!!

Daryl and his crew installed a new roof on my house about 3 years ago. No problems whatsoever. I called Daryl the owner to ask him about a roof on a house I was looking at buying and he took the time to go there and saved me a lot of money and didn't charge anything. I highly recommend In-Ex designs!

I had a very bad experience with Daryl Cook and In-Ex Designs.
First of all they did not meet the dates promised in the proposal contract. Then they tried to tell me that I needed extra work done to up sell me, that I did not need, using scare tactics because I live out of town.
Then they refused to send my warranty until I paid.
After I paid, they did not give the warranty that they promised in the proposal contract. I now have to take them to court with the document that shows what they promised and are refusing to give.
They won't even return my calls, terrible experience all around!!!

Unbelievable. We had an estimate from another company that was twice as much. My friend told me about In Ex;  she was extremely impressed with Daryl and the work they did for her . We chose this company to put a new roof on our home and I can't say enough good about them. Highly professional, very friendly, reliable and a wonderful quality of work!! So happy!!

Daryl was very professional, prompt, and explained everything. He was great to work with, providing honest opinions and not just stating what would make him the most money. The price was fair, the warranty was longer than some, and I appreciated that the estimate included some items that others do not. One of them being painting the drip edge and bird block to match the house! Johnny and his team did a fantastic job. They were always on time, very friendly, kept me informed throughout, and cleaned very thoroughly too! My roof looks great and my neighbors even commented about the quality work they saw being completed. I highly recommend this company!

Scott and another man were here to give me a quote for resealing the flat part of my roof, about 3500 sq ft.  It is a normal job with no problems, leaks or odd requirements. They were on the roof and with me to go over everything for quite some time.  They were to get back to me with the quote in a day or so, by e-mail.  After a couple of days, I sent them an e-mail and left a phone message.  They have failed to contact me in any manner.  I would not recommend them.

I was selling my home and my Realtor suggested a roof pre-inspection to ensure the house was in tip-top shape. We don't like surprise repairs!  My roof was 25 years old and although we had never had any roof leaks(knock on wood), I knew I had a few broken tiles based some tile pieces I found.  I asked around for recommended roofing companies and I was shocked at so many poor experiences and high-pressure sales my neighbors shared.

Then I asked a neighbor that I really trust and he recommended In-Ex Designs for their years of experience, professionalism, customer service and craftsmanship.  The In-Ex Design team came out the next day to look at my roof and I am SO GLAD THEY DID!  

After a thorough inspection with detailed photos, the In-Ex Design foreman located two roosting birds in the corner soffits and the wood was completely rotted in the overhang!  This would have never passed inspection! They also found a dozen loose, cracked and missing tiles, as well as, most of the mortar packs(mud balls)were damaged or missing as they were not properly installed by the builder.  That evening we received a detailed quote with photos of all the repairs and a suggested date for when they could start.  I reviewed the quote with my Realtor and he too was surprised at the reasonable cost and how quickly In-Ex Designs could get the job done.  Within a few days they made all the repairs and matched the roof tile and mortar packs color perfectly!  My wife really appreciated the extra care taken to keep the job site clean of debris and no nails lying around.  The next week we got an offer on the house and the property inspection report came back with NO ROOF REPAIRS!  We were shocked! We are SO GLAD we used In-Ex Designs. They fixed everything and made it a stress-free process. I've recommended In-Ex Designs to all my neighbors and co-worker that have aging roofs or looking to replace their roof.   We even bought our trusted neighbor a bottle of wine for a great referral.  In-Ex Designs did an awesome job!

In-Ex workers began hammering on next door neighbor's roof before 6:00 AM on the 4th of July!  Called to complain and spoke with someone.  In-Ex basically gave me the finger.  It continued and they could not have cared less how inconsiderate they were.

I worked with Scott and George's team to replace my 17 year old roof. George's team arrived and completed the job on schedule, and were very friendly and helpful in answering my questions. The roof looks great! If you're looking for estimates, give this company a try.

Horrible pressuring door to door salesman.  These guys hit my Tempe neighborhood after a hail storm. They left their sign in my front yard as if I was a customer. This was about 2 months ago.  Today the same pushy salesman came back saying he wanted to do my roof now, I told him I was not interested and he told me I was stupid for not letting him get my insurance company to pay for it.  

These guys are shady and just want to screw over your insurance company.

Darryl and his company have been as accommodating as can be.  I recently had just a few tiles fall and even with such a small job, I got a call back right away and a home visit to assess the issue.  Within no time, my roof was repaired.  The roof is well over 25 years old and probably will need to be replaced soon.  I got no pressure from the team to get that done now.  They were very willing to just do the small job now knowing that I will call In-Ex Designs when it is time for a full replacement!  Could not be happier with the professionalism, customer service and work!

This is only the 2nd Yelp review that I have actually been motivated to write on behalf of a merchant or service.  My wife and I have a tile roof home in the Ahwatukee area.  Our home was built in 1995, so over the years some of the tiles have either broken or fallen off in various places.  In an effort to keep any little critters out of our roof and attic, we called a couple of companies to come out and give us a quote.  One of the companies that called back was In-Ex Designs.  I spoke with the owner Daryl who asked me some questions about the house and the age, etc.  He mentioned to me that at some point we would need to look at replacing the underlying material of our roof...Oh no...Here we go...time for the big up sell and sales pitch!  What transpired after that was both refreshing and way unexpected.
He stated that he would come out and take a look at the roof, and if the repair only consisted of what I had shared, that he would fix it for free.  What???????????????????????????????????????????
A previous contractor a couple of years ago quoted us $375.00.  I questioned his generosity, and he replied that in return he simply ask that when we are ready to get the inevitable work done on the entire roof, that we would call him as one of the bids we get, but were in no way obligated to go with him.  No harm in that right?  So I said sure.  The next week a truck drives up and a man introduces himself as Daryl.  He looked at what we were looking to have done, and said that it would be no problem, but it would be hard to match the style and color of the replacement tiles after the beating the sun has put on the surrounding tiles over the years.  I said no worries.  He said that he would send his crew out in a few days to take care of it...Today, a truck drives up and 2 contractors begin working on my roof.  Not only did they do all of the work he promised, they did a few extra areas and even had the tile to match!  Upon completion, they rang the door and showed me all of the areas of repair to make sure that they had covered everything and that I was satisfied with the work.
As a person whose 30 year career in sales and sales management success has depended on going above a client's expectations, I was completely floored.  There is no question that when the time comes for the Big Money  job needed on our roof comes, I will not only call Daryl and In-Ex Designs for a bid and a estimate.  I am pretty sure he will be the only one I call.  Well done with professionalism and kept promises.  2 words that are very rarely used any longer in the service industry!

In-Ex Designs did a wonderful job repairing my clients roof! I'm a Realtor and the repairs were called out on the home inspection by the buyer.  I looked in our company's Vendor List and In-Ex Designs was recommended by several of our Realtors, so I called them.  They returned my call very quickly, came out the next day and assessed the repairs needed, 2 days later they  made all the repairs in a very professional way, they even matched the tile colors on a 20 year old roof!  The buyers were very impressed with the repairs, as I was!!  They were friendly, professional and very affordable!!  I highly recommend In-Ex Designs for ANY roofing repairs!!  They are now my only go to roofer for any of my clients roofing repairs!!  EXCELLENT SERVICE and GREAT PRICES!!
