Your pest company usually goes pretty unnoticed aside from a slip in the door or an occasional email. Today I was reminded of why I choose and have maintained served with Sonoran pest for years, and   will for years to come.

I requested to have an extra service done, and while they could easily have added $350 to my invoice, Jeremy gave me guidance that saved me money and taught me more about the little critters in our area. I am so grateful that in a time when ALL SMALL BUSINESS will struggle, integrity meant more to them.

They are a GREAT CHOICE.

IF YOU HAVE A FLAT ROOF DON'T EVEN BOTHER. At the beginning our experience with them was great. After $1200 and one year of them setting traps, cutting panels in illogical places and sealing the rats in my roof our rat problem has not been worse. They obviously no longer wanted to work with us when they deactivated our account without having the decency to tell us they us that they can't help. They say their work has a warranty on exclusions but quickly terminated the relationship so they don't have to follow up. They frequently sent the technician to my home without the necessary tools, even when asked to bring them. If you're issue is simple, they are probably great but other wise you may want to find another company.

I Had termits on the last home I owned. I called action termite off a recommendation from a friend. They were amazing they came out the next day and were very professional and CLEAN. So of course when I saw what I thought was termites I called them out to my new home. They came out and inspected my home and reassured me that what I thought was termites was not. Very honest company and would recommend them to anyone.

Wow.. All I have to say is wow. I was referred to them by my landlord and I couldn't be happier. Jahmaine came over and did an inspection on a rodent problem. What I was told was an infestation by another company, turns out to be a small problem with a couple house mice. He was very knowledgeable, took the time to educate me about them, and we set a plan to get rid of them. These guys are freaking awesome. I will be using them from now on for sure. If you need a pest control company these are the people you need to call. Thank you Jahmaine and the Watts family. Keep up the awesome work.

This family owned company is like no other. The service is personal, friendly, and most importantly trust worthy.

UPDATE: I am leaving my original review below, so if you are interested you can see why I originally gave this company one star. About a week after writing my review, Ashlie, the director of customer service for Bulwark, showed up at my house with flowers, a giftcard to treat me and my boyfriend to dinner, and a wholehearted apology. She told me that she had listened to the phone call we had and was in shock that one of their employees would accuse us of what he did. She wanted to make sure that we didnt have any more scorpions, so she offered us a complimentary scorpion sealing (which is up to an $800 cost) to make up for the service we had. We had the scorpion sealing done today, and it was done really well and very thoroughly. The branch manager and another employee were outside in the sun sealing up every crack in the foundation of our house for upwards of six hours, and then finished the job with a good spray of their pesticides. I really think this company went above and beyond to make things right after a not so great experience. I've changed my review from one star to four because I never expected anything to come of writing a bad review on Yelp, but its nice to know that the company is paying attention and is doing everything it can to make things right. It's really impressive, and very much appreciated.

I started using Bulwark a month ago due to finding some scorpions in my house. I have lived in Arizona for upwards of 16 years and had never had a problem, so when I moved into my new house and found some you can imagine how irritated I was! I saw the good reviews for Bulwark and decided to try them out.
During the initial service, I was given a contract to sign for a year of monthly service, which I was never told about over the phone so I was sort of hesitant, as I probably wouldn't have signed up had I known it included a contract.

After buying a black light and using it around my house and finding 4 more scorpions, I decide that this company wasnt going work out, and called to cancel. I had my boyfriend who lives with me call, and he was transferred to a supervisor who accused him of being a door-to-door salesman who was trying to sway me to another company. Honestly, I coudn't make this up- the guy assumed someone had come to my door, and asked to call my exterminator company and pretend to be my boyfriend. I was incredibly insulted and shocked that a supervisor of a company would deal with a customer service issue in such a condescending way. That alone is enough to keep me from ever recommending this company.

David did a great job as usual. However, this visit he noticed two of our doors were open. Since we were not at home, he called us to let us know we might be at risk. While the doors were locked, I was more than pleased with this extra effort on his part. This is a great value added to an already excellent service. Thank you David and Defense Pest Control!!

Raymond was very thorough and walked me through all details.
There was no up-selling, just options, which I appreciated.

Scott came out to treat a pest problem we had in our kitchen.  The treatment did not work.  I called Scott to come out again, and he never came, or follow up.  I would not recommend this company.

Gilbert did the pest control and pool service. He understood a problem was going on with the chlorine levels and worked to fix it. He seems very knowledgeable and dealt with the problem effectively. I appreciate his professionalism.

This was my first shot at hiring a rodent control business and they were great.  Less than 1/2 the cost of the others contacted and they arrived the next day and took care of setting the traps.  He has returned almost every 2-3 days to check on them. No sightings yet.  Great customer service from Mark!

I discovered termites in my house, called AZ Termite. These guys were awesome. Arrived on time, very knowledgeable, explained what was going on and why, and fixed the problem. Turned out I had termites in about half the house, and they put together a good, one-time treatment plan with a 2 year guarantee. Priced well too. Use them, they are really good.

This was my best experience thus far. Dylan went above and beyond. He was very informative and thorough. I'll only use Bulwark at this point.

Burns did NOT do good work. Although staff who came to our house had been nice, they have no clue what they're doing. They were contracted through the rental company. Burns came for 6 months for rats in our home and made zero improvement. Caught a couple rats but that's about it. They even left dead rats outside our house. The only reason burns even closed up holes to the roof was because of another company that had come in, but still did not cover all entry possibilities. If you are going to go with a pest removal company for whatever your needs are I recommend Top Notch.
Top Notch was amazing and efficient. Very nice guy who owns it, Mike. They got rid of our issue in less than two months; and really only that long because he found the rats chewed through our heating system to try and get out since they got trapped in. After the heating duct was fixed properly, we have been rat free.

We paid a lot of money for pigeon control and issues were never resolved. We were sold something that obviously they could not maintain.  They could have determined when they gave us a quote that they couldn't access the roof to properly install screening. We've had them out repeatedly and one time they came with a lift that couldn't be used because it was too heavy for our backyard sidewalk. The last visit was in May, the person who came wouldn't discuss any findings with me and I have not heard anything since.

My family had been customers of Truly Nolan since the early 80s starting in Tucson. I will never use them again.

We have used Bulwark Pest Control for several years. They are friendly, reliable, punctual, and reasonably priced.

If I could give this business ZERO STARS, I would. We have an annual contract with them for termites, and I had an inspection scheduled during a four hour block from 0900-1300. Nobody called or showed up during that time on the day of the appointment. When I called, I was told that the technician had called and came by around 1100 but no one was home. I had been home all morning.

We rescheduled the inspection for a week and a half later from 0900-1100. Given their history, I called around 1000 the day of to make sure someone was on the way and was told that the inspection had already been completed the first time. When I told them that it had not been completed, they checked and said it was a technical glitch that had marked it as complete the first time and asked to reschedule AGAIN.

This business is absolutely frustrating, poor customer service, would not recommend to anyone. Don't waste your time.
