Melvin from Monsoon roofing was great to work with. We have a 8 year old Taylor Morrison home with a leaky roof. Melvin came out on time and spent almost a hour looking at my roof he took pictures and showed me that the problem was from the way the roof was installed and even recommended I call the builder to see if they would fix it. ( Taylor Morrison was zero help)
Melvin arrived on time and went above and beyond even replacing some extra broken tiles.
Hopefully we won't have another roof issue but if we do I won't call anyone else!

I had a massive leak with a roof that was 28 years old (Way beyond its life expectancy). I call Monsoon Roofing to have a new roof put on. I put in a lot of effort and time to research the materials that should be used. I wanted materials that were proven to work for 15 plus years.  Monsoon Roofing fit the bill. They came on time, gave me an estimate (no high pressure tactics were used). They worked diligently on my roof to get it finished. The workmanship is impeccable with all of the metal trim pieces and clay tile, they touched up where it was needed. Just an amazing job well done. I look at my roof verses other roofs through the neighborhood. I am certainly glad I chose them to do my roof. Everyone that has worked on it, delivered to it, or inspected it, are just amazing, courteous, and respectful people. You would be crazy not to use them.

Roof underlayment replacement was completed today. A fantastic job. The crew worked tirelessly every day. The crew also cleaned up after every day's work, tools and equipment were placed out of sight and the yard looked great at the end of the day.  Melvin, Eric, and the entire crew were a pleasure to work with.  The roof is actually in better shape now than when the house was built. The roof tile looks more uniform and more professionally laid than the original roof. The crew stayed with the job every day. There was no leaving to attend to another job.

We contacted one other roofing contractor for a quote. The representative came out, surveyed the job and said he would get us a quote the next day. We never heard from him again even after our call backs.

Melvin, came and spent extra time with my wife explaining the replacement process and what we could expect.  There were no surprises during replacement. Overall a terrific job. We highly recommend Monsoon and if we ever have a roofing issue, Monsoon will be the first and only company we will call. Well done!

I'll try to keep this short, but I have a lot to say. This company doesn't advertise they go on word of mouth. They were recommended to us years ago by a few different people that used them. But we did our homework and called a few different companies. In my opinion this company went above and beyond, we worked with Eric who was so friendly and knowledgeable who walked us through the process and showed us the materials they would use for our new roof. And these guys did such a great job from weather stripping on the peaks, to the edging to keep birds out from under the tiles.  They were hard working and curious and cleaned up like were never there.  Let me save you the time no other roofing company is worth getting an estimate from, they're a class act

I recently had the pleasure of working with Monsoon roofing and I was very happy with the customer service and how fast they got everything done. They did my entire roof and the top portion of my patio. I highly recommend them to anyone needing their roof repaired or replaced.

Melvin at Monsoon Roofing and his crew are an absolutely stellar company to deal with. To begin, Melvin responded promptly to my request for a view of a roof leak we had. He examined the problem and gave me two options. The first was a partial repair to replace the underlayment on a portion of the roof and the second was a total replacement of the underlayment.

Our home was a 15 year old spec home when built. It, like many spec homes, only had one layer of underlayment. Eventually at 15 to 20 years the underlayment deteriorates while the tile may appear to be good.

I decided to have a total repair and they company showed up at 6:30 sharp every morning. They removed the roof tile and then removed the underlayment. They replaced damaged plywood and then added two layers of underlayment. The work was done professionally and promptly.

I would recommend this company without reservation to anyone who needs roofing repair.

We would highly recommend this company!! Melvin helped us to understand the entire roofing process before we committed.  No pressure just the best recommendations and price. The superintendent Eric Stack checked in everyday to see if we had any questions or concerns. The new roof took 6 days to complete and each day the workers cleaned up even used a magnet to check for any possible dropped nails. All the positive reviews you read are accurate!! So I won't duplicate but add that Melvin and Monsoon Roofing are trustworthy, prompt, and just great folks to work with. A stellar company and again highly recommend!!

Monsoon Roofing was a referral from one of our neighbors who recently had their roof redone. Melvin and his crew exceeded our expectations with communication and hard work. I made several comments to my husband how it was 2-3 pm in the blazing hot summer with 110 plus degrees and we still heard them hammering away.  The foreman and/or Melvin connected with us daily to give an update on the job. The crew arrived on time and cleaned up the jobsite everyday; even walked our property to make sure nails were picked up for our dogs so they wouldn't get hurt. Would strongly recommend Monsoon Roofing for your roofing needs.

Arranged for an estimate from these clowns. Eric showed up and the first thing he did was try to push a new front roof on me. We only need the back portion done. The front of the house was done 8 years ago after a tree fell into it. I was very sick at the time of the inspection and made myself stay up for this. He wasted 30 minutes of my time to only tell me they would do the whole roof or nothing at all. Thanks for wasting my time..

After 4 bids we selected Monsoon Roofing to repair our roof. We definitely made the right choice. Great work, on time, fair price, and very pleasant workers. We are very happy with our results! Eric stopped by every day to make sure everything was going well and to keep us posted on their progress. Very professional and efficient.

I called Monsoon Roofing the morning of Oct. 8 due to water leaking from the ceiling in our front room because of the rains we had.  Melvin came over within a few hours.  Two other roofing companies I called never called back.  Melvin explained exactly where the water was coming from and that he could repair the east side of the roof, but since the roof was almost 20 years old and we were going to be here several more years, we decided to replace the entire roof.  He did not try to talk me into a whole new roof.  He was able to start the job two weeks later on Oct. 22.
His amazing workers were on time everyday and cleaned up after each day on the job.  It took 5 days.  They were able to recycle 90% of the tiles.  Eric explained to me that we only needed one piece of plywood replaced and if there were any questions to call him anytime.  I highly recommend Monsoon Roofing.  Super fantastic job!

I contacted this company after noticing that a leak was starting to develop in my kitchen ceiling after a heavy rain.  The owner came out and went out of his way to help me troubleshoot the problem.  He provided pictures of what most likely was the problem and fixed it for me without charging me for a service call.  I am keeping my eye on the problem area, but anytime I need a roofing company, Monsoon is my first choice.  It's a pleasure to find a reputable company, as there are some questionable companies around.

BEST ROOF REPAIR COMPANY:  We sustained a roof leak at the point where a valley meets the main roof surface. I contacted a number of contractors via Yelp where most were either not interested in doing a repair or anything short of replacing the entire roof. I saw a small ad in our church bulletin for Monsoon Roofing and decided to give them a call. They were courteous and quickly responded. Melvin and his crew performed a perfect repair (I have some roofing experience). The dry-rotted decking and battens were replaced and high-quality underlayment installed. Melvin re-designed the valley so the same problem would not re-occur.  Melvin's interest in providing a long-lasting solution was sincere and impressive.  The crew painted where necessary and replaced broken roof tiles on other parts of the roof, outside the scope of the repair but at no charge. The cleanup was outstanding, the crew was friendly and informative, and they taught me much about doing a proper roof repair.  One has to be very careful when choosing a company for a roof replacement/repair as many of them are not specialists and often short-cut artists.  Monsoon Roofing's motto is Experience, Quality, Service - they provided all of that and exceeded my expectations.  THANK YOU, Melvin and Monsoon Roofing.

Monsoon Roofing did a great job repairing our roof.  They followed through on everything they promised, on time and on budget.  Eric, the superintendent was awesome to work with. Fair, honest and a great communicator through the process.  I will recommend them to friends and family and use them on other projects.

Very professional, the estimator that came out was cleanly dressed and very polite.  He explained everything in detail about the condition of the roof, gave me a great estimate that seemed fair and explained everything about it.

I was suspicious when their quote excluded the manufacturer's warranty. After consulting with the manufacturer, we determined they were using mismatched materials from different companies. Also found the manufacturer had never approved Monsoon as an installer of their materials. Both very bad signs. We agreed to cancel the contract and I went elsewhere.

We just had our roof repaired by Monsoon Roofing. They went above and beyond to fix somethings that didn't even have to do with the roof. We will be using them in the future when/if we need additional work on our roof.

I had a cracked roof tile and decided to call Monsoon to get it fixed. Melvin the owner came out and was extremely professional and on time. He explained what type of roof I had and that the cracked roof tile was a simple fix. He got on my roof and was able to fix it in 10-15 minutes These guys are top notch! I would highly recommend them for all your roofing needs.

Just had our Fountain Hills, AZ roof fixed with Monsoon Roofing. Here are the reasons why they get a 5 star rating:
1.  Melvin, owner, gave me a competitive bid.  Clearly explained options for repair versus replace.  (We chose to replace because of the old and ineffective underlayment.)  Got 2 bids - both were competitively priced. Chose Monsoon because they provided greater underlayment overlap (essentially doubling the amount of underlayment on the roof)
2.  Uses his own crew.  They arrived early in the morning last week at 5:30 am during the hottest week of the year.  Were mindful not to make extra noise, completely cleaned up each day and worked very hard and efficiently. 4 roofers (included a foreman) on site.  Both owner and his lead came by to look at progress daily.  Professional team all the way.  All of our neighbors made a point to comment how they kept their noise to a minimum
3.  Melvin guaranteed his work. Found the best products for our home
4.  Discovered that additional repairs were needed around chimney and skylights.  Provided small additional charge for materials to fix it and received approval to do the work before his crew actually did the work.  
4.  Had to have extra tile delivered to finish the job.  Went through options and Monsoon provided best way to 'fit' new tiles on the roof without showing variance in tile (because there's no way to match old faded tiles with new tiles.)  Monsoon managed to place them so that you can't see any difference from the street, in compliance with HOA standards.

Just as Cristy P. stated in 2015, Monsoon when above and beyond to fix and always treated us with the utmost care.  Melvin will personally assess your roof and be honest with options to win your business.  Best experience ever!

My roof came out better than the new construction. Monsoon included 80lb paper, flashing and birdstop. They sprayed the flashing instead of brushing and finished the job in 4 1/2 days. Melvin answered all my questions and emails promptly. Highly recommend.

Had a positive experience with Monsoon Roofing. Melvin (the owner) did an excellent job going over the proposal for re-roofing of our house and answered all questions we had on it. They used high quality underlayment.  The owner did a great job keeping us up to date with the whole process beginning to end. We were provided photos before re-roofing, during the re-roofing and after the re-roofing.  The crew worked hard and fast.  They did a great job cleaning at the end of each day.  The price was fair and reasonable compare to the other 10 quotes we obtained from the other roofing companies. They were not the cheapest or the most expensive, but were in range with what the majority of the roofing companies were quoting us to get a reroof of the house. Highly recommend this company for any roofing needs!

I should have written this right after we had our roof done.  Melvin, the owner, came out and estimated the job and gave us lots of great information. He has a lot of experience int he industry and it showed.  He took lots of pictures up on the roof of where our problem spots were so we could see what he was concerned about. WHen it came time to do the job, his people showed up on time, worked threir butts off, and cleaned everything up. He advised us that we could reuse all but a couple broken tiles and they did a complete new underlayment with up to date materials. I highly recommend Melvin and Monsoon Roofing.  It was a great experience.

Melvin, the owner, came out to estimate the re-roofing of our tile roof. After obtaining at least three quotes, we found that Melvin gave us a fair and honest quote.  As an expert roofer himself, he answered all our questions knowledgeably and erased all concerns. The roofing team who did the re-roofing are, without a doubt, professional roofers.  They are directly employed by Monsoon and not independent contract workers. Their work was so impressive that a neighbor used them and is completely satisfied.  We are extremely pleased with their work and thoroughly recommend Monsoon Roofing.

Had someone from monsoon come look at my roof to give an estimate. The guy left and I never heard from anyone for a couple of weeks. I called back and they were clueless. Sent someone else out and completely started over from scratch. Very frustrating. Going with someone else.

Very good job on estimate and time to completion. Roofers did a good job and cleaned up after themselves every day. It looks amazing and added to the sale price of our home. I just wish we had a longer warranty (2 years) or that a longer warranty time was discussed with us during the bid process.
