Caliber Roofing And Solar Services Solar Panel
The 1st contractor in 25 years that actually stand by their commitment. Very professional, on time, delivered what they promised and took care of the minor details at the end. I will be working with them in the future and highly recommend their services.

Apollo Electric Solar Panel
We were abroad, and I noticed that the AC in our Tempe home didn't work. Summer temperatures already in 110F. My usual AC company came the next day, told me I needed an electrician. I didn't know any. Found Matt on Yelp, he responded quickly and could come the next morning. Our house is old, and apparently the wirings a bit messed up, so he had to go back and forth, even under the house, to troubleshoot, and finally found the wonky wire behind the refrigerator! While it was nerve wrecking to be abroad unable to do anything, Matt communicated patiently and clearly. I can recommend him to anyone, and he's my first choice next time I need an electrician! He's very affordable as well.

Rooftop Solar Solar Panel
We had one year anniversary recently & I'd like to list our review of Rooftop Solar.
We live in Buckeye near Surprise in over 55 senior community of Sun City Festival. I know there are lots of solar energy companies but we're glad we chose Rooftop Solar. Our sales rep, Michelle was very knowledgeable & never pushy, project manager, Vanessa was helpful. They took care of minor issues after installation when the builder's one year inspection was done. Great customer service & we highly recommend them for solar energy needs.
We're saving lots of money for energy bill & really happy with our decision.

Sun Services USA Solar Panel
I needed some electrical work done & called 5 electricians. Only AZ Sun Services called back (the same day).  Even better, George Robbins came out the next morning & fixed my issues & charged a fair price. The bonus came a few days later when installing a 3 pole timer- I called George & he walked me through the wiring. I highly recommend these folks- thanks George for all the help!

Mr. Sunshine Solar Solar Panel
Having had 7 years of prior experience with solar I didn't need any convincing about whether to have another system on my new home. I did need valid information on leasing options vs buying and Michael had all the facts. We talked solar for about 2 hours and he didn't offer any hype. He actually downplayed some of my thoughts about installation timing and energy production. All accurate. Since I had planned ahead to put solar on the new home Michael encouraged a purchase of the system and set me up with quality components at a fair price. I now have 2 months of production and can already see our energy needs will be fully met by a system of just 7kW in size. I also encourage the added efficiency of ceiling fans, LED lighting, reflective window film and good insulation. Michael is a good guy, knows his business and won't waste your time with pipe dreams or a deal you'll regret. If you've seen all the solar ads and don't know what to believe, give Mr Sunshine Solar a call to get all of your questions answered.

General Solar Solar Panel
Had Steve and Kent out on 10/17/2022 to service my 120 gal. solar hot water tank.  I have used General Solar several times to change out the anode in the tank as the water in Maricopa is very hard.  I have been using the solar hot water heater for 10 years.  To maintain this reliability, I had the anode changed out about six months before it was really due.  Also put in a new mixing valve and T-stat element kit.  New flex lines were installed as well.  Very pleased with their service and would certainly recommend them.

Have worked with these guys to get solar for my home. Very professional and very knowledgeable. They also gave me a lower price than the other company that came and showed me what they had. They gave me a low 2.99 interest rate on my solar. I will recommend them to any and all my friends and family.

Solar City Solar Panel
Solar City is the best solar company we used. They were incredible from start to finish. They have a great team of professionals that are knowledgeable and friendly. From the first contact to the final installation, Solar City was there with us every step of the way. They answered all of our questions and walked us through the entire process. We are extremely satisfied with the outcome and highly recommend Solar City to anyone interested in going solar.

Solar Shark Solar Panel
When I was researching solar companies to hire for my home I found Solar Shark to be the best one out there as far as service , panel quality, craftsmanship, and customer service. I have a busy schedule but they made meeting with them easy and convenient through a comprehensive and step by step virtual presentation. I felt very comfortable with the entire process of understanding how solar works, their product quality, the savings that are enjoyed with solar power, and the fact they had a solid organization I could rely on.

Arizona Energy Pros Solar Panel
5 months in to a horrible experience so far. We spent almost $90,000 on having 70 panels installed that haven't worked right from the beginning. They completely ignored our concerns for the first 2 months and another 3 months later it still hasn't been fixed. The last 3 months the panels hardly produced at all. While waiting for them to address the issue we are paying for the panels, on top of our power bill, on top of the fees from SRP for being 'connected' to Solar. They don't monitor your panels unlike most companies and despite asking over a dozen times, still haven't given us the ability to monitor them. They ignore calls and emails. They keep saying they are working on it but only came out twice to look at the system. They told me forwarding me their emails to the company that manufactured the inverters wasn't an issue so I could see what is going on. And yet I haven't gotten a single forwarded email. I haven't gotten anything from them other then that they are working on it and I should be patient. Our attic was left unsealed when they did the install and is still unsealed. The last time they came out they left the power box open with the insert hanging off the switches. This was 2 days ago and not even an apology for putting my grandkids at risk, much less an update on any of my concerns with the system that isn't working, the thousands of dollars we are out while waiting, or log in info to monitor the panels. Horrible business practices all around!

Southwest Sun Screens Solar Panel
We received a quote a few weeks ago, what was great for us was that they came out and measured our windows and we did not have to be home. Brad gave us a quote same day and we scheduled for install which was today for our window screens. They showed up on time, we're professional. We are very happy with the way the job came out. Will definitely use this company again for any future projects.

Argent Solar Solar Panel
We purchased (vs leased) a fairly large 14.28kW system (51 x 280Watt panels) installed by Argent Solar in the summer of 2015.  We shopped around a LOT, comparing purchase vs lease, installers, panel manufacturers and configuration options (normal string inverters vs the power optimizers).  Argent was up front with us (our rep was Charlie, but he might be retired by now), well-priced and timely in everything they did.  No problems getting it approved by APS & turned on.  Our power production this last 3.5 years has been exactly as forecasted (clouds are the biggest variable, but that averages out over time).
We've been very happy with Argent.

While I know the up-front cost to own your system is scary or undoable for most, it is really the better option in the long run if you can swing it.  If you do lease, make sure to read the fine print.  For example, a lease installation by SolarCity would have saved $ up front, but the price we paid for electricity from the solar panels was automatically going to increase by 3.5% per year.  That's insane!  You go solar to get AWAY from price increases!  3.5%/year over the 20-year lease means you're paying almost DOUBLE by the end.  In countries like Germany that have pushed solar & wind power very hard, the cost of electricity has dropped dramatically, and likely that will happen here, too, once we get enough adoption here down the road.  You don't want to be paying a ton MORE down the road while everyone else is paying LESS.  Neither will people potentially buying your house when you move.  Most leases are a 20-year commitment, regardless of the owner.  The wrong solar lease is a liability, not an asset.

We ended up getting panels that had black metal edges instead of silver/aluminum, so the panels are black-on-black, which looks very sharp!  I did a lot of research on panel manufacturers, to include calling a guy I know in CA that runs a solar install company and settled on SolarWorld panels.  There are plenty of other great options (LG, Sunpower, Kyocera) but SolarWorld had the best cost at the time and we wanted to make sure to stay away from cheap Chinese makes for peace of mind.

We also went with SolarEdge power optimizers & inverter rather than the more normal string inverters.  It's a little more cost up front, but having a power optimizer at each solar panel means each panel will produce as much as it can.  Despite being the exact same panel, the power rating is a minimum, as slight manufacturing differences can enable some panels to produce several % higher.  (Looking at my current totals for the week, my best panel has produced 8.42kWh (kiloWatt hours) and my worst panel only 7.80kWh.  That's almost an 8% difference between best & worst.  The average difference is probably 3-4%.)  For a normal string inverter setup, a bunch of panels are all connected to the same inverter and all panels are limited by the worst performer on the string, so you'd never get that extra production.  If you have a shadow from a tree or something on your panels part of the day, then the panels in the shade are going to limit your production over all.  Is it enough of a difference to make up for the extra cost?  I don't know, probably.  If you have a shade problem, though, I think it DEFINTELY would.

Several of the SolarEdge power optimizers have gone bad during the last 3.5 years.  I'm not sure if I got a bad lot or what.  You have a graphic depiction of your system to monitor via a web page, though, so as soon as you see a "black hole" in your system, you just call your installer and they replace it free of charge.  Those power optimizers come with a 20-year warranty, so SolarEdge ships a replacement part and pays the install charge.  Argent Solar has been great for this, replacing the part within a couple days usually, as they have replacement parts on hand already.

Anyway, I've been thrilled with our setup.  When I first ran the numbers, the payback was going to take just short of 8 years (including the state & federal rebates).  Then APS put through not one, but two, price increases of nearly 8% each, so that shortened my payback period closer to 7 years (due to the extra cost of electricity that I'm NOT paying).  And when you think that the value of my house has surely increased (due to owning the system; not true for a leased system), there's a good chance the system has already completely paid for itself at just 3.5 years.  Your numbers will be different, maybe better or worse, but probably an excellent investment if you're going to stay in your house for even just a few years.

Thermo Shield Solar Panel
Excellent company, great value. Caden was quick to provide options over the phone and to email a written estimate which could easily be returned to accept the job. Price was best of several estimates for adding fiberglass insulation in the attic of an older home. The two workers were excellent, especially considering the extreme Phoenix summer heat. Both very personable as they completed the job.

Everyone at Harmon, from sales to our Project Manager to the installation crew have been professional, accessible and genuinely nice to talk to. They have instilled confidence that all of the details were being kept track of every step of the way. Even the permitting applications (APS and City of Phx) were taken care of, then communicated to us upon their acceptance.

Titan Solar Power Solar Panel
Had my solar panels turned on in April. Noticed right away that the power produced wasn't making its way to to the grid somehow and the panels were not performing as was to be expected. I contacted customer service and my sales rep, nothing was done. I've been calling into customer service now at least twice a month asking them to have a tech come out to look at them. For the first month I got the run around of "there's no notes in the system, we will write it down and someone will be in contact within 48 hours. No one EVER contacted me, any time I called in. I always waited at least a week before I called back in, most of the time for the same thing to happen. This went on for all of May and June. Then in July, they told me "your solaredge monitoring was looked at and is producing." Yet no one can tell me why my solaredge monitoring says the system is producing a number much higher than nv energy is actually receiving. No tech was sent to see what is going on. No one will even try to help me understand the problem here.  And no one even contacted me to let me know they looked at it at all, after 3 months of me calling in.

Now I just received my July bill. It is exactly $12 less than my bill last year. TWELVE DOLLARS! It costs me more to have solar than to not have it at all. I'm extremely dissatisfied with my product, customer service and the entire experience. I would absolutely NOT recommend this company.

Sunrun Solar Panel
Buy the Sunrun Power Purchase Plan if you would like to save $15 to $20 a month until you move to another house.  When you move however, you may end up paying for someone else's electricity for the rest of your life. Don't expect any help from their transition team.  My house sold in August, I advised them in June I was selling my house and gave them every bit of information they requested, (buyer, escrow, real estate salesman along with phone numbers and e-mails). After escrow closed, I called them again to advise them the new owners are in the home.

They stated the new owner hadn't signed the transfer docs and that I would be responsible until they did.  They even advised me to get them to sign. I was now in another state.  After several phone call by me, I received an e-mail from Sunrun stating I could be in default of my agreement because we haven't finished the transition and it was now November.

They took money from my account each month for the electricity produced for the new owner.  Two weeks after the default threat, they sent me an e-mail stating everything was completed.

They attached a copy of the transition documents.  My signature in July, the Buyers signature in August (Before escrow closed) and their signature in November

They had lied to me about the new owner not signing, it was Sun Run transition team that apparently lost the docs and finally realized it when they were about to take me to court.

They billed me again in December but dropped that, they re-imbursed November only and would take no responsibility for their own mistakes.

Do not use this company.  They will fail to act, cover up their mistakes with lies and put you in financial jeopardy, and after will fail to remedy.

You have been warned
