Apollo Electric Solar Panel
I contacted Matt as my husband and I are moving to Scottsdale from LA and recently bought our first home. We wanted to change out every lighting fixture in the home - 16 to be exact. I had previously purchased all the lights and sent instructions to Matt and his crew on placement and what goes where. Not only was Matt super responsive and rearranged his schedule to accommodate our quick turnaround, but he even did some drywall repair and added dimmers for us last minute - all at a very reasonable rate! He is a great communicator and made a self proclaimed perfectionist and control freak feel at ease from out of state. Would absolutely recommend Matt and his team and will be working with him for any future needs. Our house looks brand new with our new fixtures!

Rooftop Solar Solar Panel
We meticulously considered and researched all our options when making the investment in a solar system, from size of array to brand and type of inverter. Ultimately we chose Rooftop Solar and Hanwha microinverter panels, and though the price was higher than the competing bid, we're really glad with the choice, both for technological reasons and for the company's ethos and practice. Rooftop kept us fully on board with things we wanted to have a say in (the aesthetics of the design and layout) and handled all the red tape and bureaucracy so we didn't have to (inspections from the city and APS, etc.) We came out with an 18-panel array that actually *looks good* on the house as well as reaps a ton of energy from the sun. It's also worth mentioning that everyone at Rooftop is really, really pleasant to work with--they are friendly, positive, kind, laid-back yet professional, and deeply rooted in and invested in the community and the cause of cleaner energy. Recommend wholeheartedly.

Sun Services USA Solar Panel
My wife and I recently selected AZ Sun Services to install solar panels on our house. We also needed a new asphalt roof and an upgraded solar-ready 200 amp main electrical panel.

We had received quotes from 3 competing solar companies and 3 roofers. AZ Sun Services was able to meet all of our needs at a very affordable price. Their service is impeccable as well. AZ Sun Services is a small family owned business that has been in solar since 2012 (prior to that they were - and still are - an electrical service contractor). Their solar installers are NABCEP certified. AZ Sun Services uses the latest technology power inverters from SolarEdge, which includes online, real-time panel monitoring.

Best of all, 100% of the work - including a new roof, new electrical main, permitting, solar installation, and final APS meter installation - was completed in 4 weeks! An added bonus is a free aerial photo of the installed system via a drone mounted camera.

After sale service has also been excellent. John, Jason, Charlie, Joe, Mark and Terry treated us very well.

Mr. Sunshine Solar Solar Panel
I live in Hawaii and reached out to Mr. Sunshine 4000 miles away to review two very large solar project for one of my client's. Michael immediately addressed my concerns, provided me the same day a complete detailed breakdown of each project.

Michael's kind heart, support without judgement, compassion for others is paramount, not to mention Michael took the time to go step by step with me, answering additional questions I continued to send to him. Michael worked with me until I had a complete understanding of each and every step to a solar system with associated cost breakdowns of which I did not have and were unable to obtain on the Island's.

I am beyond grateful, I took the time to contact Mr. Sunshine. When my client's begin to consider solar projects moving forward, I will always be sure to request an overview by Michael regardless that I am 4000 miles away.

General Solar Solar Panel
My solar water heater became defective, called several companies for service, here are some of their comments, " if we didn't install it we don't service it". "we don't do solar anymore", We live in the Valley of the Sun. I called General Solar, spoke to Kent and he said he could come to my house on Monday, I asked if he had any solar water heaters on hand, yes he did, I said please bring it when you come.  After 4 days of no hot water and taking cold showers even during a heat wave, gets old, I had hot water within 1 hour, Kent and Steve cleaned up and removed the old water heater. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you Kent and Steve. I will refer you to anyone who is interested in solar. Thanks again, Mary

Have worked with these guys to get solar for my home. Very professional and very knowledgeable. They also gave me a lower price than the other company that came and showed me what they had. They gave me a low 2.99 interest rate on my solar. I will recommend them to any and all my friends and family.

Solar Shark Solar Panel
When I was researching solar companies to hire for my home I found Solar Shark to be the best one out there as far as service , panel quality, craftsmanship, and customer service. I have a busy schedule but they made meeting with them easy and convenient through a comprehensive and step by step virtual presentation. I felt very comfortable with the entire process of understanding how solar works, their product quality, the savings that are enjoyed with solar power, and the fact they had a solid organization I could rely on.

Argent Solar Solar Panel
Here's how getting solar from Argent went: I chose Argent because my neighbor was pretty happy with them and he would get a kickback if I did. I didn't shop around for other solar companies, so maybe there are better options, maybe not. If you decide to get solar because of this review, message me - keep the kickback chain rolling!

PROCESS: I got a quote for solar installation from and Argent rep in March of 2017 - came to the house, recommended a system and panels for our needs, and explained the process and financials. Once we decided to do it, Argent connected me with the loan company (Mosaic) and helped completed the applications and permits with APS online.  The applications were incomplete at first, after 2 rounds of edits, they were approved in July. The system was installed over 2 days the last week of July, then APS came out to inspect it that same week. They found the crew hadn't installed the grounds, it took 2 weeks to get them back out to fix it, then APS inspected again, found the site diagram was missing, Argent brought it out the next week, then the system passed inspection, APS swapped out the 2-way meter, and turned the system on.  I can use an app to check my daily/monthly production, accurate to a few hours and by the panel, all via wireless signal from the converter.

POWER BILLING: The solar panels give us credits that can be applied to our bill. Overflow credits can be saved and applied throughout the year (i.e. in the summer), but the overflow credits reset every year.

SYSTEM BILLING: Our loan is front loaded, so we have to give Argent the tax credits we get from installing solar (roughly $6k combined) by 2019, otherwise the monthly payments go up from $95 to about $140 a month (system was $20k total for us)

SAVINGS: My power bill has gone down to between $30-$40 a month, before it was between $150 and $300 based on the season. Combined with the solar payment, about $130 a month. I estimate it will save me $600-$1000 a year, but most of the payments now go to paying off the system, which will add value to our home, and eventually we can pay it off and our bill will be very low and consistent each month.

ARGENT: While the system is as promised, there were mistakes made in the applications and installation that unnecessarily delayed the timeline, and poor communication along the way. I felt like they didn't really care about the customer, my calls were always rushed, and I was told "Don't worry about it" too many times when I called because they had made mistakes. Poor customer service and organization - why not get it right the first time!?

Harmon Solar Solar Panel
This was an important decision.  I did my research, compared companies, compared their service, their panels, their reviews, their long term stability.  I guess I need to start with the fact that I am an Elon Musk fan boy, but didn't go with his company.  He wouldn't mind, I'm sure of it.  I had spreadsheets, literature, and a makeshift algorithm for reviewing all of the data.

It came down to two things:  price per KWH and panel quality.  The price per KWH was a tie with another company I checked out, and less than the third.  However, the panels Harmon was going to put on my roof were a higher quality, more efficient panel which meant the system could generate more power than both of the others using the same number of panels.  I liked that.  Plus, the panels are made in the USA and by Sun Power, a large and reputable manufacturer.  After a couple of months of this, I went with Harmon.

When I was talking with them, they assured me that they go through all of the necessary processes with the town, the HOA, and everyone else.  They did not lie.  They made sure they got all of the necessary permits, inspections, and HOA approval.  My HOA was slow to get back to them, but their followup was second to none.  The installation went off without a hitch.  Their installers were professional and courteous and did an amazing job.  The system has to be hooked into your wifi so it can be monitored remotely.  They brought the wire into my house near where my router was set up.  A few months later, I switched cable providers and moved the router.  They came back in, installed a device that send wifi through my power outlets, and moved their hardware... at no charge to me.  I like these guys.  I still get an email every now and then from the sales guy who got me set up.

The system has been running for almost a year now, and I saved $600 on my energy bill this year.  That is 30% over last year.  I couldn't be happier.

One cautionary tale with the solar lease that does not reflect AT ALL on Harmon, it is possible with any company you choose.  When someone buys your house, they have to assume the lease.  They also need to qualify as if it were a loan, because, basically, it is.  Be aware that a sale of your house might fall through because the buyer is unable to qualify for the solar lease.  However, it is so inexpensive that if a buyer can't qualify, they are more than likely not going to make it to closing at the cost of your house.  This happened to us a couple of months ago.  In the end, this is the best purchase for my house I could have made.  Everyone should have solar panels in this state.  I whole heartedly recommend Harmon Solar

Premier Solar Solutions Solar Panel
From start to finish Arizona Solar Solutions was great to work with.  My wife and I priced competitors, and Arizona Solar Solutions was either the same price or cheaper, but had many more options available.  At the time we signed up we actually put money in our pockets!  Rich Mason is very knowledgeable, and showed us all of the options but didn't put any pressure on us to make a decision.  We got in just before SRP's rate hike, and were up and running around last November.  To this day, we haven't seen any net electric usage, even in the 110+ degree weather.  We actually still have credit from production of energy for our next bill!  All of the people we met were great, and installation went well.  It does take time due to permitting, etc., but Arizona Solar handled everything from the Town of Queen Creek to the HOA.  All we had to do was be home a couple of times.  We highly recommend the company, and some of our friends we personally recommended would say the same!

Titan Solar Power Solar Panel
Worst customer service, ever. Project started Nov. 2nd 2017. 3 days for what was to be a 1 day install. 3 inspection fails. 4 return visits, just to repair broken tiles. About 2 weeks just to order a broken panel. 1 month to have broken panel replaced / installed. Left big opening in wall, needing stucco repair. Over 2 months to  patch the wall. Never a phone call from managment, to apologize for all the troubles. Extremely disappointed with their service. Will NEVER reccommended to anyone. At this point, we deserve a personal visit  for the headache. Now fingers crossed we pass final inspection on February 27th 2018. (4 month install is ridiculous)

Don't go here. We have made two appointments with them, AFTER cancelling the plans for the day and both times they were a no show. They have even called us after 8 at night to schedule. For a company to run a business this way tells me that they are fly by nights and not a good company.

I had to call you guys 5 times in a month just to schedule an appointment to get my panels looked at. The service was terrible and I didn't get anything scheduled till we had to get a manager/supervisor on the phone. They kept saying we'll get put on high priority and called back between 3-5 business days but it was a load of shit. After they check out my panels I'm not going to them again, they're customer service was shit and never got back to us.
