I contacted Homework Remodels a couple of years ago to give me a quote on a complete kitchen remodel. The owner of the company, Steve Shinn, answered my call and after some brief discussion, he offered to come to my home and look at the space. He was there the next day.

We first walked around a bit so that Steve could get a sense of the style of the home.  He asked a lot of good questions about what I envisioned in terms of the remodel and he asked about my budget.  We agreed that the kitchen needed to be gutted (it was an original 1956 galley kitchen - basically untouched) and that the goal should be to end up with a more open feel and a more contemporary look.  I was adamant that I wanted the end-product to be a very functional space, as I am an avid cook and I knew it had to be a top-quality kitchen.  Steve had some great ideas in terms of how to accomplish those goals.  

One of the best things that Homework Remodels did was propose some flush-mounted cabinets.  He explained that we would need to build into the wall leading into the laundry room in order to create some depth for the cabinetry.  I thought that was a fantastic idea, as it would create additional storage space in my kitchen -- much of which was going away due to opening up the wall between the kitchen and the living room. I readily agreed to this proposal.

Homework Remodels also suggested that I use some type of glass on the new flush-mounted cabinets to lighten things up a bit.  All of the cabinetry in that room is dark wood (espresso), so I thought the use of ribbed and slightly opaque glass would really look great.  Great idea!

The project ended up being a bit more involved than originally contemplated.  One issue was that, in opening up the wall between the kitchen and the living room, we learned that the footings in my 1956 home were too shallow to pass muster with the City.  The footings were required to be deeper and Homework Remodels was able to handle it without a problem.  We also needed to widen a door to accommodate the new french-door refrigerator that I had ordered.  Steve worked with me in terms of coming up with a reasonable price to widen the door.

In the end, I now have a beautiful kitchen. Totally redone and totally functional.  My opinion is that Homework Remodels did an excellent job on this project and I would recommend them to others.

I'm in the midst of acquiring multiple estimates to remodel our master bathroom. So far, FHR Construction stood out the most. Oron, the owner, was very energetic and came up with a few interesting remodeling suggestions. He explained the construction process thoroughly and a project manager will be assigned to oversee the project. Their graphics designer, Jeremy, then put together suggested bathroom designs into multiple 3D images. That helps a lot in identifying changes needed and envisioning the overall bathroom layout, prior to start of construction.
Also, FHR construction has a huge selection of stone and tile which is more reasonably priced than other nearby showrooms. their attention to detail, quality of products and services exceeded my expectations.

From the removal of pop-corn ceiling to the setting of brand new 20 inch tiles throughout and everything in between
the project was executed flawlessly.  We never had a concern about the budget or time schedule.

Our new kitchen is truly a thing of beauty.  We could not be more pleased with the outcome.

We had a flood at our rental. The complete destruction of our dining room happened. Red Eye Construction came in and did a beautiful job with the put back and with quality materials, and in a very timely manner. They worked so well with our tenant who is having a very rough time in his personal life right now. I highly recommend this company you will not regret this choice in hiring Red Eye Construction to do any remodeling you may need.

Chris converted our den into a bedroom by framing in an open door way and installing a sliding barn door.  He matched everything perfectly and the house looks like it was built this way. We are very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and attention to detail.  If I had any complaints it is that it took awhile to get on the schedule to get the work done (more than 6 weeks).  Fortunately, we weren't in a hurry to get this done so the extended timeline was a minor inconvenience.  I would use Chris again for future projects.

I had granite done by Apache tile for my townhome, which I was preparing to sell. This company was wonderful to work with and got everything done in the time frame they promised. There was a discrepancy in the measurements between the drawing my husband brought in, and the correct measurements as done by their installer ahead of time. Ben really worked hard to make it work for us at a small additional price, as my husband had not calculated the need for an island piece (which required a whole additional sheet of granite). We ended up getting a bathroom counter done too, and the customer service was exceptional throughout this process. The installation was perfect, and on time and the black galaxy looks awesome!

Everything about our project went well. The schedule was adhered to with great accuracy, and all of the employees were very professional. We have used TJC on two renovation projects and have recommended them to many of our friends. Thank you so much for my beautiful bathroom and kitchen.

So glad we chose Efficient Home Pro for our window replacements! Joe (owner) is so knowledgable in his field and he took the time to explain all the different options available to us. No hard sell to purchase the most expensive, which we greatly appreciated. We got estimates from other companies and were told the expected wait was 6-8 months or more. With Joe, after signing the contract to job completion was only 6 weeks and they did an amazing job!! Joe, Jeff & Porter were a pleasure to work with and our windows look absolutely beautiful. We also had them remove a window and it looks perfect - like there was never a window there! Just a great company to work with all around and they left everything neat & clean. Leonel came out for an estimate yesterday to replace all the tile on my first floor, about 1100 SF.  He was fair, honest, thorough, friendly and professional.  He explained all aspects of the job and gave me a detailed estimate on the spot.  He may even have me talked into redoing my Master Bath!  Now off to the bank for the home improvement loan!

Just did a COMPLETE gut and remodel to our primary residence in North Phoenix. Slade and crew got us done in time and on budget. Amazing nowadays. Trustworthy contractor. A+
