As a techie who is HVAC savvy, I was impressed when Dave the sales representative arrived at my house to do his estimate. He spent 3 hours taking measurements, crawling in the attic, and running tests. He was the only Rep out of the 3 estimates I received to take this much time and effort. Then he took all his data back to the office and crunched the numbers before returning with his estimate which was significantly higher than his competition. He recommended higher end equipment with a 10 year warranty on parts and labor.  We set an appointment for the following week and when the installers arrived, they went right to work putting down heavy runners to protect my carpet, and got straight to work removing my old equipment. The house was just beginning to cool down as my wife returned from work. The installers were both friendly and knowledgeable, and it was a joy having them in my house. Dave also made sure that I got the forms for the rebates from my electric company. They were terrific!

I just want to thank Sam and his co-worker for the great job of installing the bird guard around our new solar system. Sam showed me the material used and how it is attached to the solar system. He also showed me before and after pictures of a bird nest they had to remove before installing the bird guard. They cleaned up everything before leaving. I would recommend Solar Restore. They took on a very difficult and complex job of doing all the electrical for a floors-up renovation of a run down car wash in Sedona, Arizona. We installed all new state-of-the-art wash equipment equipment, a new electrical service, an outside touch screen express terminal, as well as doing numerous electrical repairs. Some electrical contractors were scared of it because of the complexity and the amount of analysis as well as sophisticated installation work needed to do it right. They did an excellent job and held to schedule, and later installed additional equipment to help reduce our power consumption.

Horrible Company paid cash for my panels 7 years ago. After I paid then I was informed you track how your panels are doing with your high speed internet which I do not have. So they gave me an envoy unit to plug in to track. Panels have a 25 year warranty. They used to come pick my unit up every 6 months check it and give it back. 1 1/2 years ago they had a guy call me that can't even talk english very well. Said we don't have usage for you. I explained we have an envoy unit. He didn't even know what it is. I had to explain. Then he says I have to bring it all the way to PHX. 160 miles round trip. When they use to pick it up. They don't want to accommodate people up North anymore. So my husband took it to him. No one ever calls me back. Find an email oh your unit doesn't work you will need to buy a new one. I said how much oh $500. Wow I am saving alot of money on my electricity paying 18k for my panels then saying I have to spend $500 more. I don't believe them that it's not working. They never returned my item. Then they hooked me up with someone from envoy talked to him last year. He said he was going to try and get me one with waving the cost. He said let them hold on to your old one so I can get you a new one. Over a year later NO one has done anything! My next step is to file with the BBB and contact Gary Lezack 3 on your side

We keep coming back! This is our 3rd time.

This is our 3rd time working with D&R Family RV. I guess when you keep getting top-notch service  from friendly folks, you want more. The previous year, Shane at D&R put in our entire solar system and other maintenance. We were impressed with how many things they are able to do.

Located in an industrial part of Glendale AZ across the street from the Police Dept, we felt very safe living and working in their gated compound, parked under a huge carport (RVport?) with 50amp service for 3 nights while Shane, and Ron the owner, whittled down our list of repairs and upgrades that I sent them in advance.

In addition to adding 17% more solar capacity to the roof, D&R installed Guardian Plates for our superslide floor that was starting to go bad, did some sticky refrigerator repair making our icemaker work for the first time since we bought our used coach, finding a propane leak that was giving us warnings, and replacing the 12 year old TV with a modern Smart TV. All with an eye on quality, and making it look great. They also cleaned out the outdated electronics wiring mess and got our antenna and cable working!

Shane is a great guy and cares about taking care of you. He has so much pride in his work, and it shows. Ron, the owner, has been customizing RVs since the 80s and was a pioneer in RV solar going back to the 90s. We met Ron after he was the Solar keynote speaker at an Escapees rally, and he did a couple of customizations to our then 5th Wheel. Ron knows more about complicated gas/electric refrigerators than the last 4 RV repair center "experts" who never quite got it right and left us with a constant "Ck LP" warning that was haunting through boondocking. Ron isolated the issue quickly.

If you're wanting to upgrade your rig with complete solar, or replace your entertainment system, or almost anything related to your RV (except for diesel or oil change stuff), you must make an appointment with D&R Family RV.

Asked for a battery and was told I had to have an inspection to get one. I coordinated the inspection, and had to email twice for the report. No one explained it to me. No one answered my questions. I have emailed, called - nothing. Moving on to a better solution for me.

Received unwanted telephone calls from this company even though we are on the do not call registry. We have asked them to never call our number again. We have never used them for anything.

The system was installed, after long delays on May 2021. It stopped generating power by the end of July. Requests for information from the company have been ignored. They and their subcontractors simply do not communicate at all with customers. I've called several times and received promises of callbacks with followup information, but have yet to receive any. APS bills are through the roof and Sunrun is continuing to bill although the system is producing no electricity.  The best outcome would be to have them remove their non-functioning installation from my house, repair the roof,  and refund payments for the months when no power was generated. The frustration of dealing with this company is literally making us sick.  I am sufficiently frustrated that I am filing a consumer complaint with the Arizona Attorney General's office. Appalling business ethics as well as non-existent customer service.
