As a techie who is HVAC savvy, I was impressed when Dave the sales representative arrived at my house to do his estimate. He spent 3 hours taking measurements, crawling in the attic, and running tests. He was the only Rep out of the 3 estimates I received to take this much time and effort. Then he took all his data back to the office and crunched the numbers before returning with his estimate which was significantly higher than his competition. He recommended higher end equipment with a 10 year warranty on parts and labor. We set an appointment for the following week and when the installers arrived, they went right to work putting down heavy runners to protect my carpet, and got straight to work removing my old equipment. The house was just beginning to cool down as my wife returned from work. The installers were both friendly and knowledgeable, and it was a joy having them in my house. Dave also made sure that I got the forms for the rebates from my electric company. They were terrific!

Loved that they showed up wearing masks and practiced the 6 foot social distancing. Even while discussing different parts of the work order and inspecting some of the work, Tyler and his crew kept their distance, and made everyone feel comfortable while doing it ... thanks job well done.

We decided to go with N-ergy Solutions because the sales rep, Summer, was so helpful and friendly. The process did take some time but we were told it would so it was expected. Everyone showed up when they said they'd be here and everything was completed sooner than expected. There was one panel that wasn't operating correctly but Nate came out to troubleshoot and had us up and running that same day. Very nice people from start to finish! Definitely recommend.

No solar company should be going door to door. Do your research, then make some calls to solar companies. What they are doing is predatory.

They seem to be out of business, so perhaps the review is a moot point. However, the slick presentation of the salesperson (who is no longer with the company) did not result in a good overall experience for me. I was promised that electricity purchased from APS would be at a flat rate of .09 per kWh, and I would sell electricity back to APS at a flat rate of .12 per kWh. I knew it was probably BS at the time, and I repeatedly asked if that was accurate. They assured me it was. And...no. I'm on a standard time-of-use plan.
I consider this purchase to have been a major financial blunder on my part. I bought the whole package, when I should have just bought solar directly with competitive quotes from multiple vendors. I should have also first addressed the root cause of my high electric bill - inefficient, old air conditioners. Now I've got to pay this huge loan off, and I am replacing the AC units on top of that.
Getting the ducts sealed was great, but it's kinda dumb that they don't CLEAN the ducts before sealing them. The Nest thermostats will not be compatible with my new AC units. Two of the Philips HUE bulbs have failed, and should be under warranty but I don't have a receipt that lists the date I purchased them. Extra attic insulation is great, but that's an easy project I could have done myself.

I would love to give a minus but not able to. If you are looking to get a solar system don't buy from this company. They are a joke. Their website says they have been in business for over 40 years yet they can't afford to do a job unless you put up 80% of the cost before they start. There is something wrong with that picture. Their salesman was very professional and represents the company very well but when the contract arrives that is another story. Thankfully we did enough research to have another company to fall back on. So by all means shop around and don't let this company rip you off.

After moving into our new home we decided to have solar installed. We interviewed 6 different companies and are so glad we chose Southface Solar. Our first choice was Pur Solar but they want you to pay 80% upfront which turned us off. Southface was willing to work with us to get our business. The sales rep was very professional and willing to listen and work with us. They did everything possible to help us get "grandfathered" before the new rates took effect. Thanks to their efforts we are locked in at the old rates for the next 20 years. We were scheduled to be installed the end of October. We received a call and they were able to install the system in early October. The techs that came out were very professional. They arrived on time and cleaned up at the end of each work day. It took 3 days to install the system. It was a very neat and clean install. We just had to wait for the city inspector and APS to do their thing before the system became functional. Everyone has signed off on their part and APS came out ahead of schedule to finish up the install. Once the new meters were installed I was able to "throw" the switch and start using solar power. The sales rep came out today and setup our box for wifi so we can monitor the usage. Again they contacted us to see how things were going and were pleased to hear that APS was ahead of schedule. We cannot say enough about our pleasant experience with Southface and highly recommend them to anyone wishing to install solar. They will listen to you and treat you right.

I took my toy hauler to D&R's Family RV on 06-24-2016 because my slide out was rubbing on my linoleum floor. I told the owner Ron on the phone when I was scheduling my appointment that I would like rollers installed under my slide out so it doesn't touch the linoleum floor and damage it anymore. When I dropped my toy hauler off Ron was not there and I was told by the technician to pull my trailer in their yard. I explained to the technician I wanted rollers due to the rubbing issue. The technician looked at the slide and said it would need 3 rollers and he would look at the alignment first. I was called and told the RV was ready to be picked up. When I went to pick up the RV I noticed there was no rollers and was told that they placed carpet under the slide out edge and it works as it should. I paid the bill and took it home and called a linoleum repair professional to repair the floor. When I opened the slide the carpet that was installed rolled out half way and I noticed my linoleum had been ripped a additional 6 inches. I was told there is too much friction on the floor and it would do the same thing.
The next day 06-26-2016 I took the RV back and told them I came to them because I was looking for a solution not a band aide. I again said I think installing the rollers are the only way to go and if they could apply the $162.16 towards the cost of installing rollers. The technician then said he would have to speak to the owner Ron reference the issue first. I then said I will wait for Ron then and I was told he was in Jackrabbit AZ getting permits for his new home. The technician then told me to leave the RV and he would see what Ron says. I was called by the technician and he said Ron was still in Jackrabbit AZ and he was not sure when he would return but I could leave my RV and Ron would look at it when he returned. I asked when would Ron return and I was told he was not be certain it could be 1 to 3 days he was not sure and Ron did not tell him.
I was called again and told that there was nothing they could do and they would suggest my upgrading the floor in front of my slide out. I then again asked about the rollers and I then was told they didn't have the equipment to remove the slide out. I then explained that I could have replaced the flooring prior to bring the RV to them although I wanted the slide out modified because I didn't like the design and I felt it would do the same thing to the next floor installed. I then requested a refund because I had the same issue as when I took it to them although I did have a 3 inch rip of carpet under my slide and my floor was in worse shape now.
The technician then said he would again need to speak to Ron about a refund. I was called by the technician and told that Ron said he was not willing to refund my money that he felt they had adjusted my slide out and I just needed to replace my floor.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. I don't believe they are professional nor believe they performed any work on my RV. I gave them the option to repair the RV proper and I was told they didn't have the equipment. They should have never accepted the job if they didn't have the equipment.

A rapidly failing solar system with a 25 year warranty is rendered useless if you can't get the parts to repair it. It started failing as early as 4 years old and is now 8 years old or so. So, minus the blah, blah, blah my responsibilility/your responsibility they installed inferior products from a now defunct manufacturer and I'm only out 25k on a partially functioning system. But for an undisclosed amount they will let me buy another system, no thanks a lot.

This company goes by the names of Heliocol West and Green Energy, Inc. Avoid them if at all possible. I purchased a solar water heater, manufactured by Heliodyne a little over 5 years ago. The system was working fine until March 22nd, when I noticed a water leak from the hot water tank. Since the water tank was part of the original system, I contacted Heliodyne and was told that Heliocol West was their service provider for the Phoenix area. The water tank came with a 6-year warranty, so it looked like a fairly inexpensive and easy fix. Boy was I wrong!
I had sent several photos and it was obvious the water tank was leaking. They were "backed up" so an appointment was scheduled a couple of weeks out, not a problem as only issue was I needed to empty a 5 gallon bucket every couple of days. When the technician arrived, he had been told to confirm the leak and then go pick up the tank. He confirmed the leak and then called to say Helicol had never ordered a replacement! Now I am emptying the bucket every day, but still have hot water. They get the new tank schedule another appointment a couple of weeks out. When they replace the tank, I am informed that my Heliodyne controller is bad, but they have one on the truck, which they can replace it with. OK, fine. Just another $300 and I am good to go. Wrong again!
Now one of the two pumps is not working and needs to be replaced. They need to order one of those and I wait another couple of weeks. They show up, replace the pump. Bet you thought this was the end, right? Well now you are wrong. Now a valve is leaking and needs to be replaced and they need to order one.
Mean while during all of the appointments, they have rescheduled on me 3 times. They call the night before and confirm the appointment and then their scheduler calls the morning of and says sorry we will not be there today. No thought to the fact you have already rearranged your schedule to accommodate them. Too bad for you. It has now been 3 months and I have no working solar water heater. I was told "Bruno" would call me 3 days ago, but you guessed right! No call from Bruno.
Bottom line is the technicians are really nice, polite and leave the worksite clean. The rest of the company seems to have no concept of what customer service is. If I could give this company a negative rating I would. If you are considering a solar water heater, find out who services them in this area. If it is Heliocol West, I strongly suggest you find another brand.

The system was installed, after long delays on May 2021. It stopped generating power by the end of July. Requests for information from the company have been ignored. They and their subcontractors simply do not communicate at all with customers. I've called several times and received promises of callbacks with followup information, but have yet to receive any. APS bills are through the roof and Sunrun is continuing to bill although the system is producing no electricity. The best outcome would be to have them remove their non-functioning installation from my house, repair the roof, and refund payments for the months when no power was generated. The frustration of dealing with this company is literally making us sick. I am sufficiently frustrated that I am filing a consumer complaint with the Arizona Attorney General's office. Appalling business ethics as well as non-existent customer service.
