Working with Semper Solaris was a pleasure. Dennis walked us through all our options for the system. He made everything very understandable and let us know what to expect every step of the way. The rest of the Semper Solaris team also communicated very well and kept us updated on the project. As a techie who is HVAC savvy, I was impressed when Dave the sales representative arrived at my house to do his estimate. He spent 3 hours taking measurements, crawling in the attic, and running tests. He was the only Rep out of the 3 estimates I received to take this much time and effort. Then he took all his data back to the office and crunched the numbers before returning with his estimate which was significantly higher than his competition. He recommended higher end equipment with a 10 year warranty on parts and labor.  We set an appointment for the following week and when the installers arrived, they went right to work putting down heavy runners to protect my carpet, and got straight to work removing my old equipment. The house was just beginning to cool down as my wife returned from work. The installers were both friendly and knowledgeable, and it was a joy having them in my house. Dave also made sure that I got the forms for the rebates from my electric company. They were terrific!

Had a solar system installed and wanted to make sure I didn't have any issues with Pigeon's nesting.  Solar Restore was very prompt in scheduling my appointment and the Installer SAM gave me a call to let me know when he would be at my house the morning of.  He was able to show me pictures of the installation before he left.  He was very professional, as an afterthought, I inquired about Ridge wire which prevents the birds from landing on the house.  He was able to give me a quote and do the installation at the same time he was at my house which save me time in having another service call.  Very Satisfied with his service and pleasure working with Solar Restore!!!

Mid July 2018, we signed up for a solar system with Nergy Solar via rep Bill Stark.  Bill was a smooth talker and made lots of promises - it seemed like a no brainer to buy into solar.  (But now we know why he pushed for us to give him a 5 star rating on Google pages immediately following contract signing - we never heard from him after all the issues began - I am now updating my review)!  Since that time there have been so many hiccups, delays and mis- or non-communications it has become ridiculous.  And as I share this I see I am not the only one with major issues with this company.  The following is just a synopsis of my experience.  Communication with them has been confusing and appalling, for lack of better words.  So in short, don't deal with this company.  For the longer version, read on.

First, we signed up for the energy saving insulation package (which was several thousand $ extra - our first mistake), which was supposed to have x number of items included.  We did not receive them all.  It took several months talking to several people in the company before they finally agreed to reimburse a very small amount to us for our "inconvenience."  Second, the site surveyors were NO-Shows TWICE!  And we was told it was a miscommunication on our part!  During the survey, we found out that the amount of energy the battery would hold would not be enough to run our AC through the night - we would actually end up on the grid before sunrise.  (Bill said our solar/battery would take care of everything except APS mandatory fees).  To clarify this, we were directed to speak with James.  James explained what the battery was actually for was to get us through the APS "peak" time.  So basically our battery would only last til about 8pm then we'd be on the grid all night.  Additionally, our AC would not be connected to the emergency power should there be an outage.  So in short, Bill LIED about multiple points we believe to get us to sign a contract.  When we told him what Bill had promised, he directed us to Bill's boss Keith.  We never heard from Keith, even after mentioning this issue to Val and Alex and a third person (don't recall his name).  They all basically said we must not have understood what Bill was explaining.  No, there were 3 of us in the room when Bill gave us his spiel and answered our questions; he lied to us.

Next, it took over 4 months to get the panels installed.  After that, while waiting for the battery, we mentioned to at least 3 different people that Bill said we would need an upgraded electrical panel installed (ours is the 1979 original).  All 3 of them told us that the "Master Electricians" looked at the photos the rep took and the panel was fine.  The battery installers arrived, worked all day, but couldn't finish because they did not have the correct fuse for the panel due to our panel being OLD (this tells us no one looked at the photos or they would have known which fuse to bring).  They had to return another day after obtaining the necessary fuse to finish installation.  Then there was another "miscommunication" regarding the city inspector appointment.  Betty said it could take a few weeks; when Alex called to confirm the date we informed him Betty never called with a date.  The next day (Dec 7) he texted stating there was no appointment.  It took til 12/21 to get the inspection.  And it FAILED because we need an upgraded panel!  We are STILL waiting for that to happen.  In the meantime, the payments have come due starting Jan 7, 2019 (we were told we would not pay a dime until the system is up and running).  Another false statement.  Now we are paying a solar bill AND the full APS charges.  Since Dec 27 we have left voice and text messages with some of the numbers we have for Nergy Solutions and no response!  That is what prompted us to start filing complaints and reviews hoping for a resolution.

I had an amazing experience with Cheetah Solar. The representative who helped me, Mark, communicated the program perfectly and I knew exactly the terms and ins and outs of the program before signing the agreement. The installation process was smooth and now I absolutely love my system!!! I can keep my house significantly cooler for less money and the best part is having peace of mind that I will never have a large unexpected electrical bill again. Thank you Cheetah and Mark! You guys are great!

Even if you've been thinking about solar, call them and get educated about the program. I've never had such a no-pressure awesome experience.

Custom Home Services did a good job outlining how best for me to look at solar and if if was right for my house. They explained how APS works with solar etc. They helped me plan out how many panels I would need and where they would go and then handed me over to Harmon Electric who handled the install. Harmon got all the permits and inspections. It was turn key for me. The Harmon guys were very professional and did a great job. I had some delays and troubles getting connected to the monitoring portal, but actually minimal stuff. Overall I am quite satisfied. The install by Harmon looks neater and nicer than many I have seen too. Glad I jumped in!

Recently I had a solar energy system installed on my home in Scottsdale AZ.  I had debated whether to proceed with this investment for a number of years.  As I was planned to purchase my system, my greatest concern was whether the payback period justified the upfront cash outlay.  Over the years, I interviewed a number of solar contractors as to the optimum size and costs to satisfy my needs.  Over this  period,  I kept going back to Southface Solar Electric Company because I felt that they had an interest in me and were not just trying to sell me a solar system, .  They patiently answered all my questions and developed any number of different options based on various Kwh output and projected my return on investment. Southface offered the highest quality equipment available at a very competitive price .  Once I had finally decided to pull the trigger, they designed the entire system, submitted all of the needed documentation, worked closely with me to insure that my installation was completed on time and followed to insure it was operating to my sanctification.  .All of their personnel that I came in contact with were extremely professional.   I have no hesitation in recommending Southface to anyone interested in having a quality organization,, capable of providing first rate service, install your solar system.

Actually would not even give this business a star at all.  We wanted to install a solar system on our RV and starting in Nov. 2013 we consulted with Ron.  He was very informative, but opinionated, with his knowledge of solar installation.  He noted that he was an Interstate battery distributor and was not pleased that we wanted to order Crown batteries.  After multiple discussions, we came to an agreement with Ron in which he agreed to install our preferred components and set a date for the install for 18 Feb 2014.  This was not an easy decision due to the logistics of us living in San Diego, CA and Ron being located near Phoenix, AZ and the fact that we would have to bring the RV to his shop for the install.  After we had decided to hire him, planned the solar install, and even received a parts and labor estimate (essentially an online handshake),  we made one final phone call to finalize two of the parts that Ron did not normally use but that were a better price and had excellent reviews. Following the phone call this is the email we received from Ron:

"After our conversation yesterday I realized that you have been researching alot of information from people that think they know everything but just want to sell you equipment that you have no knowlege of how to use. And for that reason I cannot be the one to install a system on your RV.I have done over 8000 systems in 24 years and have never turned down anyone till now. Let whoever has been feeding you this information be the one to install it."

We tried to reach out to Ron via email asking him to reconsider and take our business but we have not received a reply back. Since we now know that he is not a man of his word, we would not give him our business or recommend him to any of our friends or family.

One final note.  We have been researching a quality RV solar install now for months and the people that had been advising us are experts in RV and off-grid solar and were NOT trying to sell us anything - they don't sell items or do installs anymore, just give advice.

This company is a DISGRACE and their customer service is HORRENDOUS...stay as far away as you can. My solar system had to be completely redone because of their incompetence(by a company that actually knew what they were doing)...don't believe a word they tell you!

Funny how the reviews with one star have been removed from this site for "not meeting the review guidelines".  
Do your homework if you are purchasing a solar pool heating system from this company.  Make sure that the representations the salesperson makes about how the system will heat your pool are in writing, because we experienced significant misrepresentations.  Bottom line is that the system does not even come close to performing the way the sales rep presented it.  The Customer Service Manager, Bruno, is the sales rep "wing man", and calls the customer a liar stating that his sales rep would never make such representations.  Before my one star review on Yelp was mysteriously removed, I was contacted by two other Heliocoil customers who had the same experience.  Very unethical company!!!

Nothing but a nightmare! We had our roof replaced and the solar panels removed and replaced by one of their approved contractors. Then the approved electrician came and hooked everything back up again. BUT NOTHING IS WORKING NOW! Is it Sunrun's fault, the contractor, the electrician? And probably the worst thing about Sunrun is that in customer service, NO ONE SPEAKS ENGLISH. Even that chat is by someone with extremely limited English skills.

Run from this company, they will lie, cheat and steal your money, that's what they're great at nothing else. Run Run Run and fast from them for your mental well being !!
