As a techie who is HVAC savvy, I was impressed when Dave the sales representative arrived at my house to do his estimate. He spent 3 hours taking measurements, crawling in the attic, and running tests. He was the only Rep out of the 3 estimates I received to take this much time and effort. Then he took all his data back to the office and crunched the numbers before returning with his estimate which was significantly higher than his competition. He recommended higher end equipment with a 10 year warranty on parts and labor.  We set an appointment for the following week and when the installers arrived, they went right to work putting down heavy runners to protect my carpet, and got straight to work removing my old equipment. The house was just beginning to cool down as my wife returned from work. The installers were both friendly and knowledgeable, and it was a joy having them in my house. Dave also made sure that I got the forms for the rebates from my electric company. They were terrific!

I just want to thank Sam and his co-worker for the great job of installing the bird guard around our new solar system. Sam showed me the material used and how it is attached to the solar system. He also showed me before and after pictures of a bird nest they had to remove before installing the bird guard. They cleaned up everything before leaving. I would recommend Solar Restore. When making purchases of this nature, one must rely on the information given to me by the employee representing the company. My wife and I did our research and had a ton of questions. We spent hours going over the information with the sales rep (Randy), and he assured that his information was accurate and that all our concerns were misconceptions. Unfortunately, that was not the case as most of our concerns came true. Not only did we not receive any subsidy, our panels do not meet our usage in the cooler Arizona months (Jan/Feb) and therefore we now have two triple digit bills each month. The installation was a mess, as we were never sent location plans and they were installed where we specifically said we did not want them. I will say all our interactions with the workers installing equipment were great. They were prompt, friendly, and as helpful as possible. However, getting the executive team to move the panels was a nightmare, as the team conducted themselves unprofessionally by bullying my wife, having multiple people on phones calls when speaking to us, and then not restoring the tiles accurately on our roof. It is pretty clear that they only care about the sale and not the long-term relationship of their clients. Our sales rep told us about how many different degrees he had and how his information was on point. At the end of the day, it was not. Now we are stuck with a $30K system that does not meet our needs/expectations.

I'm so happy with Cheetah solar.. Worked with Raymond and was very informative he answered all my questions and had responded to all my texts and emails. Very professional and would highly recommend them!

Waited 2 1/2 hours for a no show appointment, AGAIN!!
I was called by Tommy to see what could be done to make me a satisfied customer. He talked loudly over me as I tried to explain and he just argued instead. First, he said I had agreed to the fan in the back, then said he knew nothing about a problem, then finally said he knew I was unhappy because I told him before he left the install day. If he was unable to do it as originally explained to me, I would not have had the work done in the first place.  Noise was my number one concern, energy efficiency was second to that, and I specified that as we walked the house initially for the quote.
I was called by the young lady in the office last week and told they would come and remove the fan and refund my money, she made an appointment with us for 6 to 6:30 a.m. on Monday, June 27th. She made the appointment so early so it wouldn't be so hot in the attic for the electrician.  
We moved our appointments around to accommodate this time, we got up while it was still dark and waited patiently as 6:00 a.m. came and went, 7:00 a.m. came and went and 8:00 a.m. came and went.  My husband called the office and left a message on the machine, no one answered, and they called back at a little before 8:30 a.m. saying the technician was sick and they would have to reschedule the removal. The last time I waited a week for a response and didn't get a response until, coincidentally, I posted a bad review for no return call on Yelp. I just want the fan removed and my money refunded.  The other electrical work they did do for me works fine, I love my whole house surge protector, I love my can lights in my kitchen and the light in my pantry and coat closet. But I don't like waiting for no one to show up at an appointment they made with me. That's bad business. Hopefully I will get a return call to schedule another appointment and someone will actually show up for that one. We'll see.

Horrible Company paid cash for my panels 7 years ago. After I paid then I was informed you track how your panels are doing with your high speed internet which I do not have. So they gave me an envoy unit to plug in to track. Panels have a 25 year warranty. They used to come pick my unit up every 6 months check it and give it back. 1 1/2 years ago they had a guy call me that can't even talk english very well. Said we don't have usage for you. I explained we have an envoy unit. He didn't even know what it is. I had to explain. Then he says I have to bring it all the way to PHX. 160 miles round trip. When they use to pick it up. They don't want to accommodate people up North anymore. So my husband took it to him. No one ever calls me back. Find an email oh your unit doesn't work you will need to buy a new one. I said how much oh $500. Wow I am saving alot of money on my electricity paying 18k for my panels then saying I have to spend $500 more. I don't believe them that it's not working. They never returned my item. Then they hooked me up with someone from envoy talked to him last year. He said he was going to try and get me one with waving the cost. He said let them hold on to your old one so I can get you a new one. Over a year later NO one has done anything! My next step is to file with the BBB and contact Gary Lezack 3 on your side

Admittedly, we went into our solar install with limited knowledge after getting a lot fo (unsolicited) advice from well-meaning people who had a far better understanding of Ohms and amps and gigawatts than we did. Ron was fantastic at answering all of our {annoying, newbie} questions and ensuring we knew exactly what we were getting prior to a single dollar being paid or part ordered.

With our minds at ease he proceeded to handle all of the ordering and coordinating of parts shipments to coincide with our appointment date and when we arrived he was ready to go to work with absolutely no delay. His technicians were super friendly (they even sang Christmas caroles to us while we hung out inside the rig) and very professional. They left no trace of dirt or dust either.

One thing we were so very happy about was that we were able to stay in our RV while all of the work was completed (at no additional charge!). We had 30 amp power (I believe he has 50 amp available if needed) and a nice safe spot to live for the 3 days needed to complete everything.

We are so happy with the work done and would not hesitate to recommend D & R to anyone needing solar installed, repairs or remodels done to their rigs. They get a huge thumbs up from us here at Tales From the Mutiny.

Great company with great survive. Can't wait to see my electric bills cut in half come summer

I have had a very positive experience with PEP solar. I had a ground mounted system installed last November. I researched many solar companies and I was impressed with how long they have been in business and their clear presentation. They were on time (any delays were caused by the town of Chino Valley), they explained everything to me clearly, always got back to my questions right away and it's working great. I really like the online monitoring of how much electricity its making. I couldn't be happier.

Terrible customer service.  Do not return calls.  Make appointment and not show up or call.  Very unreliable.  Had to call another company to get service on our solar pool heater.  Waited three works for appointment and no show.

Terrible about communicating with customer. Sales rep Chad Lewis added two Initiatives to our solar panel purchase. A 1000$ Homedepot card and a critter guard for the panels. He has not returned any calls, text messages or emails regarding this. Sent emails to his manager and still no one responds. His not recommend this Compton anyone wanting to purchase panels.

Run from this company, they will lie, cheat and steal your money, that's what they're great at nothing else. Run Run Run and fast from them for your mental well being !!
