Best Solar Panels in United States
I am in the process of locating a solar company for the purpose of inspection and maintenance of an existing system that was installed by another company that no longer exists (previous owner of the home had this system installed). I called AZ Sun Services on 2 occasions; On the first I spoke to a person who asked for the system specs, which I emailed to him. He said he would call me back. My email contained all the information he requested and several ways to contact me - and he never acknowledged receipt of my email or attempted to get back to me. On the second occasion I called and left a message, it has been almost a week and no one has returned my call. I called AZ Sun Services because of the ratings on Yelp - but I have not experienced the same. I seriously question a company that thinks so little of potential customers as to not return phone calls. Good luck - hope your experience is better than mine.

After meeting with 4 solar providers I had researched, I selected Sunny Energy. We financed through them and the whole process was flawless from approval through installation. The Installation subcontractor did break one roof tile but assured me that was the only damage. Our 15kW system is amazing and after the first six months I have only the loan payment for electricity cost. In Arizona, that is a budget saver! My system has had NO issues and puts out a minimum of 20kWs per day over our usage. We ran into one issue at the one year walkthrough on our house, finding out that the subcontractor they used had broken 23 tiles. It is my understanding that this subcontractor was fired shortly after our installation. I contacted Sunny Energy about the problem. They understood, that as a homeowner, I would not have known about the damage if it weren't for the builder 1 year walkthrough. They worked with me and were pleasant from the start. They repaired all the broken or damaged tiles, and did it within two weeks of contacting them. The main reason I am writing this review is because it is so hard to find a company that does it right and stands behind the product when a problem occurs. If you are looking for a solar system for your house, you would do well to go with Sunny Energy.

Contacted them October 17 for a quote, responded back on October 18 saying they would contact me in 24 hours. October 20 messaged again saying no one had contacted me. They apologized and said someone would contact me that morning. Finally contacted me this afternoon,October 25, asking if I needed service. I told them no because I went with someone else. It shouldn't take a week to contact someone for a quote if you care about business. Apparently they don't. I'm most upset that they couldn't contact me at least to say they were busy or give me some excuse. Would never use.

Aneva did the ground installation of the solar panels for us last summer. Yep, their crew worked smack in the middle of it. We do appreciate all the work the kids had done and it looks awesome and also produces a lot of energy.
We picked Aneva for the following reasons:
1. Sales guy Mark G is a pro. He looked at our house, consumption and offered a solution that fit us specifically. We did not even think of ground installation but it did turn out to be the best fit for us. When you have an expensive clay tile, installing solar panels on them is not an option- contrary to other contractors belief ;)
2. Crew is wonderful and worked their buts off in this heat. I had to work a lot and was not up to supervising but they really did not need to. Their PM even stopped showing up- but I am sure he would if you prefer more hands on experience.
3. We are getting a Lot of solar even though a tid bit of panels are in a shade in the morning. Aneva has a design person who works with your sales guy to come up with the great design for placement based on the lot or house.
Couple of things to share - hopefully informational and some are general solar related ;)
1. If you want solar and want to finance - use anything but solar financing.. it is predatory and usually comes at 20% upfront fee( yep still legal). We were explicitly told about it by the other bidder but would suggest to Mark to include this bit of info in the discussion.
2.probably would have done a bit more communication upfront as we had no idea what went into plans, approvals until I asked a day before the work started. It turned out great anyway;) and I would rather be hands off than on. bottom line is if you are more of a control freak - your sales guy and front desk are super responsive so just ask them.
3. Whoever was depositing checks along the way (4 payments I believe ) was above replying to emails. Again that's why Mark and front desk are there to help
4. Aneva has a special clean up guy!!! He is awesome and takes care of everything that PM could not
5. I think it takes some time to figure out but generator is really helpful on big ground jobs. Our outlets were not able to carry the needed load. So the crew rolled in one.
6. We had to replace the electric panel and the crew did it wonderfully. But picture having no electricity/ Wi-Fi for half a day in AZ summer...
7 Solar install is still quite expensive but electricity costs from the grid are not going down either. Although we are not completely independent we do enjoy with Aneva's help ;) -generating solar power, paying at this point almost nothing to APS and occasional enjoyment from virtue signaling to all the Prius and Tesla drivers ;) oh yes, and the fed tax refund too

Ryan and his crew arrived exactly at the start of my scheduling window to install a 50A circuit for our new hot tub. Work was completed in a timely manner and for a fair price. There was a minor hiccup when the hot tub installers went to connect things. Ryan was at my house within 10 minutes and got everything online. Exceptional service and a good value. Will use again if I have an electrical need.

Had new Solatubes installed by Arizona Home Daylight yesterday. Have had a Solatube for many years and love it. The installation was difficult because this is an old home with electrical and plumbing tangles in the attic space. Dustin was amazing and figured out exactly what he could and could not do prior to making any cuts in the roof. One install involved some confusing electrical connections for the light kit and he called in a reinforcement and they finally figured it out. My new Solatubes are amazing and the service from Arizona Home Daylight was stellar. On time, considerate, neat, competent. You don't find service like this very often..

This father-son business proved to be one of the most solicitous, responsive contractors I've ever had the pleasure of hiring. John senior even warned me that my investment/payback period might make solar impractical for me. However, I always wanted to get off the grid, and I'm glad I did it with Black Platinum. My payback is moving along extremely well with our early Greater Phoenix heat this year.

Recently had our solar installed by Rooftop and even though we are STILL waiting for APS to come and commision the system, we could not be more thrilled with the Rooftop Solar team. From estimators to project managers Adam, Vanessa, Brian, Daniel and Julia to the EXCELLENT, efficient, polite and obsessively neat installation crew lead by Sergio, everyone was focussed on a properly designed, installed, effective and efficient system, not just a 'cash grab'. I can't recommend Rooftop Solar highly enough! If you're looking for solar done right, these are your guys and gals!!

I called in this morning at 9am and by 10:45am they were out at our house. Kent and Steve were great! They were very professional and extremely informative about our solar water heater. I will continue to utilize them for service calls and will recommend them to anyone with solar concerns. Thank you guys!

Have worked with these guys to get solar for my home. Very professional and very knowledgeable. They also gave me a lower price than the other company that came and showed me what they had. They gave me a low 2.99 interest rate on my solar. I will recommend them to any and all my friends and family.

NRG Solar put in my work order ticket. I am always worried when a contractor comes to do work that I am not paying for (ie: work under warranty), because there's no sales opportunity in it for them. However, the gentleman who came from Harmon was very courteous, helpful, and informative. He made the modifications needed after an electrical surge caused by a lightening strike shorted my telemetry system for my solar. He was so helpful and polite, what a breath of fresh air. I would absolutely recommend Harmon Solar's technicians, and I hope NRG uses them again if I require warranty work.

I was a bit anxious when I began the process of switching to solar power. But as soon as Arizona Energy Pros made contact, I was able to relax and actually enjoyed the process. There guidance and knowledge were just what I needed. Everyone is professional and friendly while maintaining the highest level of service. I highly recommend them for your solar installation!

Looked at a few companies to get quotes for solar installation. It's a tough market these days, with all of the power companies turning the tables on solar power. We've got aps, and at the moment things are still in our favor.
When none of the companies but Arizona solar solutions would consider the job because of market conditions (and maybe rightly so, that remains to be seen), we jumped on the quotes they provided and quicker than a blink they had the panels installed and aps approved. We were expecting months of waiting - instead we went from contract to kilowatts in about a month, hoa approval, city approval, and aps approval included. Just waiting on router connection now so we can watch the power roll out.
We're not expecting miracles, but we were promised a little more than 100% of our yearly power needs and I think it can be done. We've gone through and made sure we're as efficient as possible prior to connection, and I've got NREL predictive production charts (pvwatts) for our specific setup, so we'll see how we do.
I'll post back up regularly to see how things are stacking up.
Only complaint - customer service seems to be almost entirely automated, so the process felt very much like dealing with a phone recording - all our email updates were automated, sometimes to the point of not including specific times or dates of expected steps (like blanks were left unfilled), but when I needed to speak to customer service, there was always someone there on the other end of the line, presumably right here in Phoenix. Maybe that's how they keep so streamlined to get things set up efficiently, but it felt very sterile - not a friendly neighbor-like business which they seem to be on outside appearance.

I add pics to my review showing per my salesman the 2022 Power Cell comes w/ a generator as you see my original quote went up 33000 ( No Titan, that was not a quick one to get me started . I was going to pass until he saw my needs and want of a powercell w/generator) When I registered my power cell per, the pic says I must register my generator separately Ric Williams

Do NOT use Solar City. Too big, you are too small. Not gonna go into details because you wouldn't believe it anyway. You have been warned.
