Best Solar Panels in United States
My wife and I recently selected AZ Sun Services to install solar panels on our house. We also needed a new asphalt roof and an upgraded solar-ready 200 amp main electrical panel.
We had received quotes from 3 competing solar companies and 3 roofers. AZ Sun Services was able to meet all of our needs at a very affordable price. Their service is impeccable as well. AZ Sun Services is a small family owned business that has been in solar since 2012 (prior to that they were - and still are - an electrical service contractor). Their solar installers are NABCEP certified. AZ Sun Services uses the latest technology power inverters from SolarEdge, which includes online, real-time panel monitoring.
Best of all, 100% of the work - including a new roof, new electrical main, permitting, solar installation, and final APS meter installation - was completed in 4 weeks! An added bonus is a free aerial photo of the installed system via a drone mounted camera.
After sale service has also been excellent. John, Jason, Charlie, Joe, Mark and Terry treated us very well.

On August 30, 2021, at 11:03 am, Sunny Energy sent an unsolicited text message to my cell phone, which is also on the National Do Not Call registry. A copy of it is below:
"APS is reducing their solar incentive in 26 days. Let us know you don't want to miss out by Sept. 17 and we'll help you lock in the current rate to save big. Call Sunny Energy today to learn more at 480-536-8700 or visit sunnyenergysolar.com."
I called and inquired about evidence that I consented to such text messages. They were unable to do so. The customer service agent directed me to speak with Taylor. I contacted her at 11:25 am, and she stated that they sent text messages to all leads regardless of consent.

Caliber Roofing was great to work with for my roof replacement. They removed old broken down solar panels and swamp coolers from my roof that have been an eye sore for years.
We got several estimates and are happy with our decision to go with Caliber Roofing! I would highly recommend them.

Extremely impressed with Dustin who installed my first set of lights in a windowless room. After seeing the difference they made, I called back and had 2 more installed and Devyn was just as professional. The photo in the room is only showing the light from 2-14" tubes. It was DARK - Zero Natural light! I highly recommend Arizona Home Daylight!

A couple of months ago, they completed installing solar on our roof. They were very professional and personal, taking the time to answer any questions that I had. Of the three companies that I interviewed, I found 'Johnny' to be very easy to talk and he explained everything to the detail that was needed. The quantity of panels that they suggested is working well, which was not easy as I didn't have any history of electric use. They offer a quality product and service. I would recommend them and have done so already.

Recently had our solar installed by Rooftop and even though we are STILL waiting for APS to come and commision the system, we could not be more thrilled with the Rooftop Solar team. From estimators to project managers Adam, Vanessa, Brian, Daniel and Julia to the EXCELLENT, efficient, polite and obsessively neat installation crew lead by Sergio, everyone was focussed on a properly designed, installed, effective and efficient system, not just a 'cash grab'. I can't recommend Rooftop Solar highly enough! If you're looking for solar done right, these are your guys and gals!!

Mr. Sunshine Solar was so helpful. Im another solar company customer. But I am currently having issue with my system. I called him to get assistance and answers. He helped me get the information I needed from solar edge customer service. Without talking to him I would have not be able to get the help I needed. He was so sweet and nice. I am so thankful for his assistance. Thank you.

I have used this company for over 20 years now. When we first moved into our home we inherited a solar water system. We ignored it for a while but then wondered what maintenance needed to be done. Kent came by on his way home and checked it out. Told us what to watch for and said we didn't need anything done at the moment. In 2010 we had to replace the system that was installed in 1986. We again called General Solar and they were prompt in coming out and installing a new system. The City permitting was done without issue. Now in 2018 I'm getting offers from my AC company saying they can do maintenance on my solar water system. I'm not going to use a company that dabbles in solar. I called General Solar and again they came out in a couple of days for a maintenance check. Said the system looked good and made a couple of suggestions that would need to be done like the rod and the antifreeze. I saw the rod after they pulled it and decided to get that and the antifreeze done, because knowing me I'd forget to have another maintenance check for another 10 years.
I'm very happy with the customer service and the friendly attitude of this small business. They are quick to explain what they are doing and answer questions.

I moved in to SUn city after getting a divorce as a senior and wanted to put solar on the roof. I met Cary after speaking to several salesman and decided that Cary had the best price for me. The work was done. A year ago I contacted Cary and got some extra work done installing a mini split that helped even more. I would recommend galaxy solar to anybody because of the professionalism and care.

Just like the other reviews bad customer service. Phone Tag is an understatement not only can you never get a hold of anyone but the Quote sent was wrong and did not address the items and size of solar I wanted. After repeated calls and a few emails I am done trying to work with this company. If someone is going to spend 20K plus you should have great customer service. (look at car salesman even though we all hate them for 20k you are never ignored.)

5 months in to a horrible experience so far. We spent almost $90,000 on having 70 panels installed that haven't worked right from the beginning. They completely ignored our concerns for the first 2 months and another 3 months later it still hasn't been fixed. The last 3 months the panels hardly produced at all. While waiting for them to address the issue we are paying for the panels, on top of our power bill, on top of the fees from SRP for being 'connected' to Solar. They don't monitor your panels unlike most companies and despite asking over a dozen times, still haven't given us the ability to monitor them. They ignore calls and emails. They keep saying they are working on it but only came out twice to look at the system. They told me forwarding me their emails to the company that manufactured the inverters wasn't an issue so I could see what is going on. And yet I haven't gotten a single forwarded email. I haven't gotten anything from them other then that they are working on it and I should be patient. Our attic was left unsealed when they did the install and is still unsealed. The last time they came out they left the power box open with the insert hanging off the switches. This was 2 days ago and not even an apology for putting my grandkids at risk, much less an update on any of my concerns with the system that isn't working, the thousands of dollars we are out while waiting, or log in info to monitor the panels. Horrible business practices all around!

I had 2 electricians cancel on me after being without power for a couple of days. I finally had SRP coming out and needed an electrician there at the same time to replace a main breaker. I looked on Yelp, found Apollo, and called. Matt answered and was able to making it over in time (1 hour). We had to wait for SRP to remove the panel to see what kind of breaker we needed. He called a place in Mesa, ran to get it, and came back to install it all within 2 hours. I should have called Apollo first. From now on i will!

They are there to sell you the system but after that your screwed... I had an issue with install that fried all my appliances now I cant cook nor do laundry and after over a week of exhausted phone calls and messages that were left unreturned they try and come back with $2700 to "patch" my appliances... I am asking for replacement as all of them were new and they would gladly take the money for the system but when you have an issue with the install your up shit creek..... DONT DO IT!!!! There are much better companies

Let me start by saying that I am saving money and there was no out of pocket which is fantastic. The panels are high quality and installation was done well. HOWEVER, the salesman "guaranteed" a specific dollar amount savings as a minimum. He said that if we didn't save that amount (which he wrote on a plain piece of paper, circling and making all his little fancy sales pitch bogus figures) they would refund us that amount. Well we saved but not as much as he promised. When I called, I was told that I must have misunderstood him. I said sure, let's get my sales rep on the phone. Well funny he no longer works there. So ok, at least I'm saving some money particularly in the summer. However, I was charged for one month prior to service and Solar City refuses to correct it. The issues is when APS turned on the meter (a whopping 10 weeks after system installed, but that is on APS). Well we were charged for one month that we had no service. Solar City said APS told them it was turned on sooner, and we were charged but no service. Never did get that corrected and paid for extra month of service. I also have a dispute on billing, my first payment which was done through bill pay never got credited, never got fixed despite multiple calls. Part of the issue is there was no online billing (we were told it was easy and they did when we signed up) and they just now launched it. So we cannot see a record of what we paid, versus what was billed. Asked for printed copy, never got it. Asked again, and again, and again. Never got it. So billing stinks, I feel I've overpaid by 2 months and still never got that straightened out. So if you go with Solar City, make your salesman put everything in writing, our rep overpromised then moved on to another company. Then check your billing statement every single month. When they do start your system, make your power company (they have to swap meters and it's done by your local power company, ours happens to be APS) leaves a receipt to prove date they turned it on so you don't pay for service you don't have.
