Best Solar Panels in United States

There aren't enough words in the English language to describe the level of service and care that was taken by Mike in evaluating my solar contract and solar production.  It is my assumption that if you're reading this review that you are looking into Mike's services because you either already have solar or are looking into it.  I'm very lucky that my contract and panels are performing, however, I wish I would have spoken to Mike prior to signing a solar contract.  Do yourself a service and call him before you do anything and if you already have solar, call him now to make sure you're getting what you're supposed to out of your system.  Don't wait, it's worth every penny for the peace of mind.

Tony came to our house for a consultation, mind you, we just had some questions about an improper installation and were looking for some answers. He didn't have to do this but he did it anyway.
He is extremely  knowledgeable, extremely friendly and you can tell his sincerity is real. He wasn't trying to SELL me. He was trying to EDUCATE me and gave me the information we were looking for.
If solar is what you are looking for, I would recommend Brilliant Solar Solutions above any others. You'll get what you need and I believe you'll avoid any problems you may have from other Solar companies.

We had AES install rooftop solar 5 years ago and was completely satisfied with the design and installation. When we had a minor problem with a new style inverter used on our array, AES sent out an electrical engineer to solve the issue. It's worked perfectly since. Our monthly electric bills have averaged $16 per month since installation!! Thanks guys for a job well done.

Working with Semper Solaris was a pleasure. Dennis walked us through all our options for the system. He made everything very understandable and let us know what to expect every step of the way. The rest of the Semper Solaris team also communicated very well and kept us updated on the project. Mid July 2018, we signed up for a solar system with Nergy Solar via rep Bill Stark.  Bill was a smooth talker and made lots of promises - it seemed like a no brainer to buy into solar.  (But now we know why he pushed for us to give him a 5 star rating on Google pages immediately following contract signing - we never heard from him after all the issues began - I am now updating my review)!  Since that time there have been so many hiccups, delays and mis- or non-communications it has become ridiculous.  And as I share this I see I am not the only one with major issues with this company.  The following is just a synopsis of my experience.  Communication with them has been confusing and appalling, for lack of better words.  So in short, don't deal with this company.  For the longer version, read on.

First, we signed up for the energy saving insulation package (which was several thousand $ extra - our first mistake), which was supposed to have x number of items included.  We did not receive them all.  It took several months talking to several people in the company before they finally agreed to reimburse a very small amount to us for our "inconvenience."  Second, the site surveyors were NO-Shows TWICE!  And we was told it was a miscommunication on our part!  During the survey, we found out that the amount of energy the battery would hold would not be enough to run our AC through the night - we would actually end up on the grid before sunrise.  (Bill said our solar/battery would take care of everything except APS mandatory fees).  To clarify this, we were directed to speak with James.  James explained what the battery was actually for was to get us through the APS "peak" time.  So basically our battery would only last til about 8pm then we'd be on the grid all night.  Additionally, our AC would not be connected to the emergency power should there be an outage.  So in short, Bill LIED about multiple points we believe to get us to sign a contract.  When we told him what Bill had promised, he directed us to Bill's boss Keith.  We never heard from Keith, even after mentioning this issue to Val and Alex and a third person (don't recall his name).  They all basically said we must not have understood what Bill was explaining.  No, there were 3 of us in the room when Bill gave us his spiel and answered our questions; he lied to us.

Next, it took over 4 months to get the panels installed.  After that, while waiting for the battery, we mentioned to at least 3 different people that Bill said we would need an upgraded electrical panel installed (ours is the 1979 original).  All 3 of them told us that the "Master Electricians" looked at the photos the rep took and the panel was fine.  The battery installers arrived, worked all day, but couldn't finish because they did not have the correct fuse for the panel due to our panel being OLD (this tells us no one looked at the photos or they would have known which fuse to bring).  They had to return another day after obtaining the necessary fuse to finish installation.  Then there was another "miscommunication" regarding the city inspector appointment.  Betty said it could take a few weeks; when Alex called to confirm the date we informed him Betty never called with a date.  The next day (Dec 7) he texted stating there was no appointment.  It took til 12/21 to get the inspection.  And it FAILED because we need an upgraded panel!  We are STILL waiting for that to happen.  In the meantime, the payments have come due starting Jan 7, 2019 (we were told we would not pay a dime until the system is up and running).  Another false statement.  Now we are paying a solar bill AND the full APS charges.  Since Dec 27 we have left voice and text messages with some of the numbers we have for Nergy Solutions and no response!  That is what prompted us to start filing complaints and reviews hoping for a resolution.

These guys were great, from the original consultation to the installation and startup.  Everyone I interacted with was very responsive and straightforward.  They took care of all required paperwork and permits, and installation was done in one day.  Even months after installation, they are very quick to respond to questions.  My system is working great and I couldn't be happier with it.  In fact, I just recently ordered a system upgrade with a backup battery from them to get me though power outages.  I wouldn't even consider any other company.

I'm having an incredible experience with Cheetah Solar.  They have a wonderful program that explains the whole process. Cheetah assigns a customer service specialist that keeps you in the loop with everything and to make sure that everything runs smoothly.  If I have any questions or concerns they respond immediately! I can't wait for the end result!

Our Solar system has been down for over 4 Months. We have not produced any Solar Power since 7 July!
Freedom Forever added 4 panels in April to the system they installed in 2019. In July when we were out a Freedom Forever Tech came and switched the system off and derated our main breaker box. They also installed a new inverter and said the engineering details had been wrongly submitted and needed revision.
We have not produced any solar since despite numerous call, texts, emails and cries for help over the last 4 Months!
We received an email today saying someone will come out on 6 December.... By 6 December that will be FIVE MONTHS with NO SOLAR POWER being produced!!!!

This Review is a special update. Thanks to Southwest Electric for coming through on the items that after reviewing have been updated. I do appreciate their team, hearing me out, taking the time to send someone out and make the updates at no additional cost. They stood by their work, and they made good on their promise. I do appreciate the extra effort in this team to see the work resolved. I do have good things to say, and I would certainly recommend them, Southwest Electric. Thank you.

Custom Home Services did a good job outlining how best for me to look at solar and if if was right for my house. They explained how APS works with solar etc. They helped me plan out how many panels I would need and where they would go and then handed me over to Harmon Electric who handled the install. Harmon got all the permits and inspections. It was turn key for me. The Harmon guys were very professional and did a great job. I had some delays and troubles getting connected to the monitoring portal, but actually minimal stuff. Overall I am quite satisfied. The install by Harmon looks neater and nicer than many I have seen too. Glad I jumped in!

I have had a very positive experience with PEP solar. I had a ground mounted system installed last November. I researched many solar companies and I was impressed with how long they have been in business and their clear presentation. They were on time (any delays were caused by the town of Chino Valley), they explained everything to me clearly, always got back to my questions right away and it's working great. I really like the online monitoring of how much electricity its making. I couldn't be happier.

My husband and I are insane and have done 7 remodels.  If you've ever done one you know you spend most of your time frustrated.  Well...   We just redid our patio and pool and added pool solar.  I could give you a list of companies/people I was ready to strangle (J) but instead I'll tell you about Heliocol Solar.  They did EVERYTHING correctly.  They did EVERYTHING they said they would do.  They did EVERYTHING on time.  (Even when we had to shift their timing because everyone else didn't! do their part on time.).

Waited 2 1/2 hours for a no show appointment, AGAIN!!
I was called by Tommy to see what could be done to make me a satisfied customer. He talked loudly over me as I tried to explain and he just argued instead. First, he said I had agreed to the fan in the back, then said he knew nothing about a problem, then finally said he knew I was unhappy because I told him before he left the install day. If he was unable to do it as originally explained to me, I would not have had the work done in the first place.  Noise was my number one concern, energy efficiency was second to that, and I specified that as we walked the house initially for the quote.
I was called by the young lady in the office last week and told they would come and remove the fan and refund my money, she made an appointment with us for 6 to 6:30 a.m. on Monday, June 27th. She made the appointment so early so it wouldn't be so hot in the attic for the electrician.  
We moved our appointments around to accommodate this time, we got up while it was still dark and waited patiently as 6:00 a.m. came and went, 7:00 a.m. came and went and 8:00 a.m. came and went.  My husband called the office and left a message on the machine, no one answered, and they called back at a little before 8:30 a.m. saying the technician was sick and they would have to reschedule the removal. The last time I waited a week for a response and didn't get a response until, coincidentally, I posted a bad review for no return call on Yelp. I just want the fan removed and my money refunded.  The other electrical work they did do for me works fine, I love my whole house surge protector, I love my can lights in my kitchen and the light in my pantry and coat closet. But I don't like waiting for no one to show up at an appointment they made with me. That's bad business. Hopefully I will get a return call to schedule another appointment and someone will actually show up for that one. We'll see.

We have been fighting for 5 months to try and get our inverter replaced. Technician has been out 3 times and each time Sun Run has failed to send the correct parts. When I try to call Customer Support I get a voice iMessage. No one answers my calls. Stay away.
