Best Solar Panels in United States
Byron Meth created a great plan for adding solar to my house in Sun Lakes. Their pricing is very competitive and Byron explained in detail the return on investment and savings I would receive in both tax deductions and reduced energy bills. Their software created a great image of my roof and where the panels would go. Great solar company to work with.

We had to get a new roof on our home and so it was time to replace four solar tubes. Elite did a fantastic job. They did a very good job and came back to check everything after the roofers were done. I would highly recommend them for solar tubes.
Call them for a price that is very good for their quality product.

We had to have our roof replaced and contacted the manufacturer of the solar panels (First Solar) and was advised I needed to use one of their certified installers to maintain the warranty. Luckily I found Green Muscle on their website. Brent responded quickly with a quote and a promise they would work with the roofer schedule so we were without solar for a minimal time. His quote was less than other certified installers and the service was excellent. Everything was completed on time by a professional team.
I highly recommend Green Muscle.

It's been about 2 months now since the system was finally up and running to it's a bit early to tell if this investment will work out of not. Summer will be the true test.
The entire process took over 6 months to complete. Not all of the delays were created or caused by Sun Solar. You are dependent on the City of Peoria, the power company, and your HOA if required. It felt to me like there were some delays at the APS level but overall, the design and approval process was as explained.
My reason for a low rating really reflects my frustration levels with the customer advocacy and scheduling process. The person assigned to be my advocate did not have any insights or calendaring for scheduling visits to my house. I would get a call that said we are coming out on Thursday, with no time frame. If I said I could not be home that day, they could not give me another date, that process would require a follow up phone call. They wouldn't even ask when I was going to be home.
The original appointment was set for a Thursday/Friday. The day before I got a call saying they wanted to confirm my appointment for the following week. When I asked what happened to my appointment for tomorrow, the response was, "I have no idea".
This type of communication strategy continued until the end. I had a couple of conversations that I am not proud of but it was very frustrating to hear that my advocate has not insights into scheduling. I hope someone was able to get past my aggressive approach to find a way to improve in this area.
Here are some helpful tips you might consider.
1. Ask if they have ever installed solar on your model of home, have the look in the attic before signing any contract. The original design had to be changed due to the way the home was constructed.
2. Ask them to confirm all appointments in writing, either via email or text. This was not consistent.
3. Ask them if the installation crew can all an hour before planned arrival, I had spent several days at home all day to finally call after 3:30pm to find that no one was coming that day.
4. Ask about the process for covering payments if this is financed, if it takes more than a few months your Solar will not be working but you will be expected to pay the loan, Sun Solar will help you with that if it happens to you.

We were having challenges with our a/c system running constantly and not adequately cooling our home. I went to the SRP site to see about having an energy audit. After going through several reviews of the different companies they listed, I decided that Affordable Energy Solutions appeared to be the best. Great selection! The energy audit was performed by Jason. He was very thorough and pointed several areas where a lot of cool air was escaping. Before he left he made sure that we had no unanswered questions. He subsequently provided us with a detailed report which included pressure readings for each room, other pertinent data, with pictures of each area and recommendations as to which repairs were needed. There were several areas where the ducts were leaking or not properly connected. We were cooling the outside and roasting (89-91) inside! We called Affordable Energy Solutions back. They prepared a detailed estimate of what it would cost to make our home more comfortable. We selected the air sealing and duct repair work as the most urgent of the items to be fixed. They scheduled a crew to come out and do the work. The crew was very professional. They were on time and got right to work. They sealed up all the leaks and properly connected the duct work. And, they cleaned up after themselves! Working with Affordable Energy Solutions was an extremely positive experience. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs professional and Affordable Energy Solutions!

There is simply too much bad to report in one post without giving you coffee to stay awake. We are at the end of the project and we are still being disappointed more and more with every visit they take. We are now over 30 trips and still have not seen the improvement we have been needing since day 1. Project took over 10 months. The office does what they can to make amends, but the field crews continue to show a lack of understanding of customer wants and needs. I am currently searching for others who have had a bad experience to understand their stories and to see what they had to do to fix the problem that OWE was unable to fix.

Absolutely do not deal with this company. If they come knocking on your door, tell them to get off your property ASAP. We had a solar system quoted and in September 2022. We were also told that we were getting a Generac generator and this was an important part of us saying yes to the whole deal. Solar panels were installed on our roof in October 2022. Electric panels were upgraded in November 2022. In December 2022, I reached out to our sales person to inquire when our system would be brought online and when we could expect our Generac to be deliver and installed. Our sales person, Jordan Hauxwell, touched base with us and said the Generac was on back order. She also stated that they were waiting on OGE to approve the system before the meter was installed. Turns out all of this was a lie. January was the same response.
February 2023 someone from the company reaches out to me to let me know they had to change contractors, and I had to sign new paperwork acknowledging the change before OGE would approve they system. Also in February they came and delivered a generator.... But not the one that was promised. They delivered a Westinghouse camping generator and tried to pass it off as the same thing as a Generac. I reached out to Jordan about the issue. She admits that she messed up and that she was never supposed to have used the term Generac. The company refuses to correct the issue.
It's now midway through April. My system is still not online, supposedly due to faulty micro inverters. This company has literally stolen money from me and my family at this point and refuses to take any responsibility to correct it.

Our experience thus far has been stellar. Many of the reviews read many not have been thru the Costco referral. We have been told the Costco is the resolution source and a call directly to them is supposed to get the ball rolling. Costco vets their vendors annually and if there are too many complaints that aren't resolved the contract isn't renewed. Sunrun has been a preferred provider for 17 years, so we were told by Gus.
Price was competitive and with all the added incentives and rebates we look to paying ourselves to produce our power and eliminate the bill APS.
Do your homework on companies AND the product they are installing. There is a difference. Will follow up this review after installation is complete and we're plugged into the grid.
