I will admit, I have always been hesitant to go Solar. Mainly because my husband and I had been approached over 10 times from December when we moved into our new home in Surprise until June about Solar Panels. Sales guys would come by constantly, give me their sales pitch, and expect me to sign on the spot. Some were cocky and some didn't know what the heck they were talking about. No one every provided us a brochure or showed us what we would save, just told us we should go Solar blah blah. Until one day, my husband was in his parents neighborhood and met Jesus.
He set something up, even though I was reluctant and Jesus came by.
From the moment Jesus walked in until the moment he left, he was extremely professional. it was so refreshing to have someone try and get to know us before selling us.Aftwr some small talk, he immediately pulled out a one pager with a bunch of information as well as showing us what others in our area have saved. He had us access our APS account, typed some stuff in his computer and then physically showed us what we would save.
He gave us time to consider and checked in once in a while. I was so impressed by his professionalism and knowledge that I decided we should go solar.
Since we decided, Jesus has come over to show us plans, come over when the design needed changed and has kept in touch throughout the entire process. he continues to answer all my questions and is always just a phone call away.
Jesus and his great customer service is one of the main reasons we decided to go solar. Sure it saves us money but having someone who knows so much and is so kind, truly made a difference.
I give Simply.Solar 10 stars and would recommend their company to anyone and everyone who wants to go solar. they know their stuff and make you feel comfortable making the decision.
Thanks to Jesus and this amazing company!

As an insurance agent and insurance advisor, Michael was awesome for my clients. He drives to your home to help add in charging stations for electric cars like Tesla, Chevy Volt, and the Nissan Leaf. My clients live all over Phoenix, such as Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert and Scottsdale.
I am so happy I met Michael!
LightDay solar has an amazing battery pack for saving non peak energy to disperse during your peak hours to save energy costs for those that don't want to rely on SRP or APS.

Last year Dillon Holmes of Cambio installed the solar panels at our retail location in Phoenix, cutting our electric bill in half. After the state and federal credits and the depreciation on the equipment, we're looking at a return of our initial investment in 7 years. Dillon continues to monitor our output and if anything appears to be below expected production levels, he's out there to check our equipment and resolve any issues. This was definitely a good investment and a good choice of vendors.

I am so happy I went with Noonday. Everyone is trying to get you to go solar but Noonday offered me the best deal, service, and quality. I've saved so much money and now will own my energy in the future. They answered all my calls and were patient with me (not pushy). Also the install was super fast. They offered me the lowest deal I had seen yet and were very professional. The process was fast, easy, and stress free. I would highly highly recommend!! Great quality and service!!

Fantastic service and quick availability! I found myself in a bind and hired J Ryan Electric based on a referal. The techs were on time, went the extra mile and when I got my bill I was relieved they were fair with their pricing and didn't add on silly and absorbent fees. Once again, going local pays off. I would highly record J Ryan!!

Nathan from Advanced Solar Technologies is the best! I've never seen anyone from any companies that's so nice, so kind and always willing to help like him.
I really appreciate the time he spent to help me with everything. Thank you so much Nathan! Wish you all the best!

Horrible customer service. Contact them with issues and they never return your call. I paid way less when I was on grid as well. These guys collect a 95$ payment every month and the service they provide is nothing short of despicable. Don't be fooled by their master sales tactics; once you are signed up, your doomed if your bill is ever too or the unit doesn't work. The service department will simply ignore all requests for updates or information. STAY FAR AWAY

UPDATE: The owner replied to me with more lies. Please read their reviews before you decide to go with them, I did read them and most of them were negative reviews with a one star rating, they will lie thru their teeth to try to get you to use them. He said I was slandering them, is it slander when you tell the consumers exactly what you were told??? I was told that I HAD to finance the system and pay a monthly fee of $79 to Nerdpower and still pay some money to Edison, If I pay for the solar power why do I have to pay Edison or any one anything, if I pay in cash as he said I can't do (the sales man said I had to finance it) they I own the power from my solar panels and should have no electric bill and not pay for any power used after all my solar panels are supposed to generate the power to use in my home or was this another lie? anyway I look at it, this company is selling a bunch of bullshit and trying to scam you.

This company drags things out forever! At first I was satisfied but throughout the process they continue to delay and delay. Today I was supposed to have my final inspection with the city after almost 6 months and shocker the company forgot to send someone out!!! So now delayed again to reschedule with the city who is backed up a month!!

Avoid this company at all cost. If you are looking for solar call Your electricity provider 1st for recommendations because this group will drag their feet on the installation, get paperwork wrong "several" times and bill you before the work is completed. Example I signed up for service November of 2021 as of today September 2nd 2022 it's still incomplete and I'm still on the grid paying for electricity and solar power at the same time. The sales team is full of lies stating that I would only have 1 bill going forward once installation is complete, CPS stated their is no way around not getting an electricity bill even with solar. Shady very shady. Looking forward to selling my house now to get out of business with this company
they DO NOT tell you the following which you have to find out if they sucker you into buying the panels and you find this out later

One of the main reasons people go solar is to lower their electric bills. The thought is: If your solar panels generate more electricity than your home uses, you wouldn't need any electricity from the utility grid--and that would mean you wouldn't have an electric bill! Right?
Unfortunately, that's not how electricity bills work, especially when you consider your daily energy usage habits and required fees from the utility company. This post will explain why you will still have an electric bill after installing solar panels, but also how solar energy can still help you save on your overall energy costs.
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY WHO WILL LIE TO TRY TO GET YOU TO BUY SOLAR PANELS AND THEN NOT TELL YOU ALL THE FACTS AND THEN REPLY WITH EVEN MORE LIES.
I saw their booth at the Costa mesa home show and had them come give me an estimate, what got me is that within 2 minutes of walking away from the booth they were already calling me ( seems desperate for business) I thought that was a little odd since it was to quick to call me, had them come out and they were trying to get me to agree that day to sign a contract.
I told them I was not going to install at this time and they still tried to pressure me into a contract. now a week later I get another call to set a new appointment to have someone come out and try to push it on me again. WHAT PART OF NO DID THEY NOT UNDERSTAND?
They seem to need to get jobs so they are very high pressure on sales and I do not like to be pushed into a expensive job.
they told me the job would take months to finish and made all sorts of excuses for the time frame, it does not take long to get a permit or inspection, I had windows installed and had the permit in a few days and once done the inspector was out 3 days later to inspect the window, so them saying it takes months to get permit and longer to get inspector is a flat out lie.
they say to save on electric bill, what they don't tell you when they try to scam you is that you still have to pay someone for the power you are using (what the hell? if I have power on my roof why do I have to give Nerd Power almost $80/mo. of my money, would rather keep my roof intact and pay Edison each month)
These people are the biggest con artists I have seen. most of the reviews are negative for them on this site

I needed lighting added to the backside of my house. Jason from Sun Valley electrical and solar arrived on time for the appointment, looked professional and reviewed my plans. The subsequent work was done as scheduled for the price quoted. Jason looked professional and the install work looked like it was original with the build of the home. I was very pleased and would recommend their services.

I have a roof leak and called lots of places to come out and check it. Some places were 2-3 weeks out before they could come out. Called and left Garrett a message, he called be right back and said he could stop by the next day. He called and showed up on time, then after checking my roof leak and talking to him, he told me because my house is only 9 years old to go after the home builder. I have not paid him anything and he is so willing to help. I am in the process of going after the home builder, and if things fall through I will be using ridge roofing to repair. Thanks Garrett!

My husband and I were seriously considering going solar. Several companies reached out for an in-home presentation. We were contacted by Phoenix Solar Specialist with the promise of receiving $240 check afterward. Their representative was very professional when I inquired about the $240 check, I was quickly told I had to send a year's energy bill at $20 each to totaling the $240.Please BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM. This company has no intention of paying the $240. If it's too good to be true, it is....

I left a service message on Thursday and did not receive a response until I CALLED back and pushed a little hard. After I heard back from them the solar system went back on and the service mgr told me to call back and gave me the direct line if the system failed again. Two hours later I went out to check on the system and it was back down and when I called the DIRECT LINE number given me all I got was answering machine. I tried to reach the service person through the main number and still no call. My solar system is down and no one to help. Terrible customer service both response and contacting looking for help. The excuse I received "they had to fire someone that didn't work out." It is not the customers problem that they had to fire someone and leave customers high and dry.

We purchased a tiny home that had an off grid system hooked up to it so we called new grid to come out and see if we were hooked up correctly. We paid the $250 for the consultation and had two guys come out to look at the system. I also wanted to get some extra batteries installed and a few other upgrades to make sure we were good for off grid living. Everything seemed to be hooked up correctly is what the two guys from new grid determined. I basically only received a printout of the user manuals from them, and certainly never got a follow up on any upgrades. Seven months later our system failed due to an underpowered inverter (which fried) and our batteries also were unable to hold a charge and were ruined as well. The company who is now upgrading me immediately noticed several areas that were not hooked up correctly including how the bank of batteries were wired. I just find it sad how some companies talk the talk on the phone and just fall very short after your check is cashed. I definitely doubt their solar knowledge and I would recommend taking your money to a more experienced company.

We signed up for solar in August of 2021 and we were told that the process would take around 2-3 months to complete. We were hoping for October, but understood that it may be November. The plans were drawn up and we waited for APS, our HOA, and the city to approve it. We got approval from the HOA and APS withing the first month and they even sent it back and requested revisions be made to the plan that Envision drew up. (No big deal. These things happen) Envision concluded that we needed a panel upgrade before they could install the panels. I was very patient throughout the entire process because I assume that this industry was experiencing supply chain issues and shortages due to COVID just like a lot of other industries.
We finally received a notification from the company on November 18th 2021 that our electrical panel upgrade would happen on 01/20/2022 at 7:00am and the solar panels would be put on the roof on 01/24 - 01/25. This was the first thing that made me start to worry because we were concerned that since this was going to take place in 2022 instead of 2021, it would prevent us from filing it with our taxes until the following year. (Still not a deal breaker)
For the electrical panel upgrade, they notified us that the power would need to be shut off for 6-8 hours that day. My wife and I work from home, so we had to take the day off and request the following weekdays off for the solar panel installation as well. We got the days approved and made plans to go through food in our refrigerator and not stock up due to the power set to be off for the day. When the day came I awoke at 6am to get ready for the power to be turned off around 7am. Everything seemed to be going to plan until 7am came and went and we were stuck waiting around for a few hours. I gave them a grace period since I assumed it would work that way. At 10am and no sign of the company I called in to check what was going on. The rep I spoke with informed me that they cancelled my electrical panel upgrade THAT morning around 7am. So here we are already taking a day off and then pretty much cancelled on without even knowing it. I had to call in to them to get this information. This immediately upset me and I found it inexcusable to not be told what was happening when it happened, and also to fact that they were able to cancel on the day of. So I felt uneasy even rescheduling because no how can I even trust they won't cancel again?
So now we are already unsatisfied. So far we have already waited 5 months and we still have no solar panels or an electrical panel upgrade and no set date as to when this will get done. Not only that, but this panel upgrade was scheduled in November. So we planned and waited for this for 2 whole months and it was cancelled on the day of.
On February 3rd they notified me that they could do the panel upgrade on 02/09/2022. We declined that date due to a death in my wife's family and funeral proceedings being out of town. The company then told us that 05/02/2022 @ 7am was the next available time for them. We accepted this. There was no way they would mess this up again right? Its February and we have almost 3 months to prepare for this and we already accepted that we came this far now we just want it done at this point.
As we were approaching the date for our panel upgrade I decided to give the company a call to see what's going on to make sure they haven't decided to change something and not tell me again. So on 04/29/2022 I called to just make sure everything was going to plan and they told me that now I was cancelled because the financing I was approved for had expired since this process took so long. They wanted me to reapply for the financing and then reschedule another panel upgrade date. The problem I had with this is the lack of communication. They had cancelled me more than 2 weeks prior and never informed me in any way (email, text, phonecall).
This whole experience was exacerbated due to the fact that my wife lost her grandmother in late February and 2 uncles in January. This family lives in Mexico and in Yuma Arizona and we live in Phoenix AZ. This forced us to use many days off work to commute back and forth frequently during these months. The reason I bring this up is because this means that us taking days off work was extremely valuable this year. So it really pissed me off that nobody from this company communicated these things to me and it caused me to take days off for essentially no reason. It is also just flat out disrespectful not to inform me. It undermines my time and my family. I told this company to just cancel my whole application and that I would not be working with them ever again.
I don't know what their deal is, but this was a serious mismanagement on their part. I am a patient and understanding person, but this was the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I shouldn't have to check that they are doing their job. I trusted them and they flat out failed.
