I decided to try and do some light plumbing work, replace the old kitchen faucet, but when I went to shut off the water, the valve broke. I ran outside it to turn the water off to the house and went on Google to call a plumber. Of course, this happens at 5 o'clock, so I'm asking about after-hours service. Tahnee answered and after I explained my problem, she placed me on hold to try and get someone out. We got disconnected and she called me right back. She found a technician to come out within 25 minutes. Don arrived and was very professional and even put covers on his boots before entering my house. I explained/showed him the problem I created and he was reassuring and quick to quote me the cost to get it fixed. I agreed and Don got to work.

I rarely interact with companies anymore that are this polite and professional, let alone quick to respond. 5-stars across the board.

Late post. However, this is my 3rd or 4th time using Mr Jonathan who is a gem. This time it was installing a new water heater which required alot of services which were needed to pass code. He knew exactly was needed and assured me it would be included in the service.
Love that he gives true estimates and stays true to it. He is kind, timely and I trust him! Will be calling again when needed.

Nathaniel is by far the best plumber I have ever worked with, he is very professional and reasonably priced.  We have had a few random things go wrong recently and he is very responsive, shows up on time and gets the job done.  I would highly recommended him!

Being a member of the Porsche Club and getting recommendations from a member there I figured this was the place to go. It's been over 100* lately and takes the house forever to cool off, they keep saying someone will come out and take a look, but no one has shown up yet. From other folks I have talked to after the fact I find out they are very expensive, other reviews backup this claim. Beware.

Ray and Robert were fantastic very helpful and recommended some important repairs I wasn't aware of. They replaced 3 feet of my cast iron sewer line in less then a hour! Good price even better people couldn't ask for more!

I had a pretty serious drainage issue.  These heavy downpours are literally putting water up against the house. I called two brothers, Elijah came out the next day,  He explained the issue as I had several pics depicting what was happening and explained in detail how he would resolve the issue.  He sincerely wanted to help me resolve my issue.  His team started work within a day after signing.  He was very meticulous and thorough with his work and ensured everything was working at the completion even testing the sprinkler system as it needed to be rerouted.  I am impressed.  I will be returning to Two brothers for additional work in the future.  If you have plumbing/drainage type issue, give Elijah a call.

Hammer from Hooper came to my house mid August and cleaned out a difficult to access drain between two sinks in my master bath.  I paid $700+, but was happy my drains worked again.  A month and a half later the drains backed up again.  I called and confirmed multiple times that this was a warranty call and to send the same gentleman out Bc he was familiar with the drain he already worked.  Hammer returned and charged be to clean those drain lines again telling me it's hard to warranty work Bc you can never tell if someone has a lot if hair and is going to clog the drain quickly.  

I have called and my fiancée have called multiple times to discuss why I was charged and no one has returned a single phone call.  I would advise against using this company as they do not stand by their work or return phone calls.  I have also shared with  the neighborhood Facebook page that recommended them Bc this level of service is not acceptable.

If I ever need an electrician I will call Tioga. For an upfront, honest and fair price quoted, I found out what the problem was and various recommendations on how I can resolve.

He waited for me to return from an errand and was very knowledgeable and professional.  For once I knew I had found an angel of a company who I trust to be totally transparent and not price gouge me!  So glad to know you are in my area!

Bret was so nice! After calling the City, multiple plumbing companies, spending 24 hours completely stressed out about water coming from the main shutoff... or somewhere nearby I finally got help. My dad has been working with Alan (Bret's dad) and told me to call them. No kidding- on a Saturday after 5:00 he picked up the phone and said I'll be there in 19 minutes, ma'am! And he WAS! Still working on everything but he and his dad are top notch. They actually care about their customers. 100% recommend!

We were so grateful to Genzel Plumbing for finding a way to come out quickly to fix our outside faucet leak. We had put off getting this fixed but wIth the sudden cold, we were afraid of serious damage to our home's pipes. Although the problem was more serious than we realized, they worked with us on the price and the solution. We highly recommend them!

So about a month ago, one afternoon I walked out into my garage and saw a rather sizable puddle of water in the middle of the floor.  Huh??  I looked around (why, I don't know).  Then I looked up.  Oh f@#k!  I ran upstairs and opened the door to the attic space where the water heaters and one of the hvac systems is located and there it was - water coming out of a small hole in a pipe by one of the water heaters.  Water was shooting out horizontally, hitting a wall, and running downward - through the ceiling of my garage.  I tried to turn off the water supply to the water heater, but nothing happened.  Panic!

Anyway, I didn't have a plumber that I liked (I deal with almost all the tradespeople who have to come to our house - poor things - and I decide who will come back).  I'd tried about three since we moved here, but none of them screamed 'I want to be your regular plumber'.  So I called my regular HVAC company and asked them to recommend someone and they gave me the number for Arty's Plumbing.  I called Arty's and explained my problem to the person who answered and guess what?  He actually sounded concerned about my emergency and said someone would be there within an hour.  In less than an hour, Frank arrived, assessed the problem, turned off the water to the water heaters and to the house and proceeded to repair the leak.  From the time I found the puddle in the garage to the time the problem was fixed was less than three hours, and that included Frank having to make a trip for a piece of hardware.

AND, the cost was very reasonable (I thought).  When he handed me the bill, I couldn't believe it was so low.  And Frank was very nice.  He also either didn't make a mess or he cleaned up after he was done.  Either way, there was no mess for me to deal with.

AND after all this, the worst thing we have is a water stain on the garage ceiling.  My car (that was just washed that morning for the first time in a couple months) didn't even get dripped on.  Now how lucky is that?!

Anyway, they don't know it yet, but Arty's Plumbing is now my regular plumber.  I sure hope they don't scare easily...

I've been using CTX for the past year and they have been amazing. Ryan was professional and very knowledgeable. I was able to get my problem resolved the same day. Definitely recommend using CTX for any plumbing or electrical needs !!

They know their stuff and give a fair price! I've used other plumbers and felt ripped off at the end. These guys don't want to waste your time or theirs, the way they work is get in, do what they got to do, and get out. And they make an effort to clean up after themselves. I had a major problem with my kitchen sink, that basically required a whole remodel of the plumbing system underneath. They didn't leave till everything was fixed, they offered discounted prices on the parts I needed to get the job done, and they did it right -- it's been weeks and everything is working smoothly! I am so happy I was able to find a good plumber that didn't break my bank!

The guys did such a great job. We had has another plumbing company out earlier in the day and they completely screwed the pooch. Brad and his partner came out and worked so hard to get us all fixed up. It was a reasonable price and we're happy to have our home put back together.

JR was so helpful and honest in coming out and giving me a quote. They gave me a temporary fix and a long term fix, they also didn't give a quote on the spot like some companies. They actually did the work of looking up parts price and labor to give best and worst case scenario, unlike the other guys (Beacon Hill Plumbing) who throw out a number but it ends up being double and they already started the work so there is no going back. JR and crew will be who I use and recommend to anyone.

I would totally use this company again! My home owners insurance would not cover the leak, because it was on the outside on the sidewalk area...the other plumber wanted to charge us 250.00 to detect the leak... And $1500 to fix the pipe.
Scott knew exactly where the leak was and was not planing to charge us 1500.00 to fix a leak outside of my house... Which it did not required any drilling on my sidewalk...

I needed a water management solution for my home. Sam came to my home and listened to my problem. He inspected the property, measured the elevation of affected areas and provided a comprehensive set of solutions. I opted for the double-barrel drain and scheduled installation. The installation team was prompt and courteous. They were knowledgeable and informative during the installation providing vital information concerning drainage patterns and elevation measurements to ensure proper system functionality. The system works flawlessly and as designed. I no longer have to worry about flooding during heavy rain events. I highly recommend Olshan for water management and would gladly use them again.

I called A1 on a Wednesday about 9:00 pm and was told someone could come at 12:00 am as they were a 24 hour company.  Given the late time I asked could I have the first appointment in the morning.  I was told that the appointment could not be scheduled until the morning dispatch came in.  I asked why is this the case when you are a 24 hour company and I was told that is the way it is.

When the truck finally arrived 14 hours after my initial call, the service person began immediately trying to sell me a whole new HVAC system.  My problem was with my Unit outside but after checking this he went to check my furnace which took about an hour and continued to try and tell me I needed a new system.

After checking everything, the service person took 30 min.  typing everything into his Ipad, all the while trying to up-sell me on a new system and a service plan.  I consistently asked him during the service call, do i have to get these other things done to fix the motor, and he said no.  But when  it was time to take action he was telling me I needed a new coil, and I should just buy the whole system.  

I then asked him if he had the part to do the job that i asked him to do, and he told me that I would have to pay him before he could check to see if they had the part.

At this point I was done, after three hours of upselling, saying one thing and then back tracking on it and telling me I needed to pay not only before service was even done but to just check on a part I wrote him a check for his trip fee and sent him on his way.

If I could have given zero stars I would have.   I see now that I should have read yelp reviews prior to even calling.  People should take note of the several reviews that are one star.
