The owner, Ben, came personally and cleared two clogged sinks, flushed two water heaters, and then even fixed water pressure issues that I had with two separate sinks at no extra charge!  I called the day before and he answered immediately and answered all of my questions.  He then came out the next day, right on time, and completed all of the work.  He gave a written quote BEFORE touching a thing, which was very competitive, and left no room for surprises.  I would hire him again and recommend Ben and his team without hesitation!

Great, honest guys who have come out quickly when I have had a leak or urgent concern. They are clean, professional, and not recommending lots of things and have always suggested alternatives to save $.

We've dealt with Pearson Plumbing for several years. They are always pleasant, polite, and thorough. We haven't had any problem they couldn't repair.

I noticed a puddle in front of my toilet after I flushed it and couldn't tell where the leak was coming from, so I called and left a message to schedule an appointment. Jeff returned my call within a few hours and scheduled a time to come out. He was punctual and came during the time we agreed upon.

When he looked at the toilet, within 2 seconds he had figured out that there was a little tube that had come loose and it just needed to be reattached for the leak to stop. I felt like such an idiot for not figuring that out myself and felt so bad for wasting his time. Jeff was so nice about it though. While he was there I had some questions for him and he was able to help me out with them. I offered to pay him for his time but he wouldn't charge me.

Even though this ended up not being a real plumbing issue, because of the service I received I will definitely be reaching out to Jeff again when there is a real problem.

Steve, the owner and Master Plumber, quoted me over the phone for two toilet repairs (complete rebuilds), leaking shower and kitchen sink faucet replacement.  I got a couple other quotes as well, and GPS was the most competitive.  When it came time to do the work, Steve was right on time.  I walked through with him to show him the items needing repair, and he got right to work.  The work completed was done quickly, professionally and was of great quality.  The invoice sent matched the quote we discussed - no unexpected surcharges or extra service fees, which I've had happen before.

The whole experience was great, from quoting to completion.  He didn't try to up-sell anything, in fact he tried to help save cost in a couple areas.  I hope I don't need more plumbing work done anytime soon, but if I do, I know who I am going to call.  I would recommend GPS without any reservations, and already have to several friends.

Awesome service! He was able to come out on the weekend on short notice and was super knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to resolve our issue quickly and efficiently. Definitely will call him again in the future!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would.  After changing plumbers from another local plumber we had been with for decades.  I simply cannot imagine ever using another plumber.  We have in recent months had a bevy of plumbing issues.  One of which was to fix the original fix by our former plumber and it was a fraction of the price for twice as much work,

And now, as I write this we are having our hot water heater replaced.  They worked us into their already busy schedule.  Our plumber actually came with a new hot water heater.  

Their prices are competitive and still better work and less expensive.  They are worth every penny and take great pride in their work.

Had a great experience. I'm a new home owner and Prosper Plumber was patient to show me what he was doing while working on my water heater. He gave me tips on things I can do myself to prolong its life as well. Will call him back again if needed.

Had a second great experience with Andrew this week. He helped us fix a fussy toilet gasket very quickly at a reasonable cost.

Billy with B+D was one of the best local services I have used in the 17 years in McKinney. Professional, prompt, and fair pricing is the B+D way, true American!

We needed help with putting together furniture and just all around help around the house. My partner is post cardiac surgery and can't overdo things and climb a ladder.  Brandon did such a great job and really went overboard making sure everything was completed and cleaned up.
I will definitely contact him again!

John was very helpful and did a great job!  He's at the top of my list of plumbers to call.  I had an emergency situation and John was slammed.  I was able to get the job prepped (do the digging to get the plumbing exposed to work on) so that all he needed to do was the technical work.   He made time to get to the site and did the work for a reasonable cost (essentially what Ben Franklin was going to charge just to show up).

So very happy to have found Bluebonnet Plumbing.  They very quickly fixed an outside faucet leak. They also looked at my malfunctioning Delta touch faucet and weren't able to fix it, but they advised me on how to contact Delta to get a replacement.  They even spoke directly to Delta for me to explain the problem.  Their response time was good and their charge was very reasonable.  I will definitely call them again!!

We've used these guys twice. Came on short notice both times. Very nice, quality work, affordable.

Highly recommend them.

Update 4/16 received a call from the office manager. Receptionist was new and training will be addressed. Manager told same thing a second plumber did, that draining and flushing the heater that old (10 years) may actually cause more problems and may worth the cost involved. Plumber will be coached. Manager credit us the cost of the visit. Thank you Aline.

They lost a customer today. Called to have a plumber come out because the water heater was making clunking/knocking sounds. Based on what i read on websites the heater needed to be flushed and drained. Told the receptionist who set up the appointment that it probably needed to be flushed. (heater still heated the water well, able to long hot showers etc... just made knocking noises). When the plumber got here, he said that heaters don't need to be flushed drained anymore, he checked to make sure water heater still worked (i already knew it did) and looked at one other issue we had and charged us $98 for the 30 min visit. If i had been told up front that they don't drain/flush water heaters anymore, i would not have had them come out (by the way, the manual for my Whirlpool water heater says it IS supposed to be drained/flushed every 6 months). I don't appreciate being lied to and i don't appreciate having to spend the time and money to hire someone else to do what this guy should have done.

My gas line to my house failed a pressure test by the gas company and they shut my service off and pulled my meter on a Friday afternoon. Barbosa Plumbing came over to look at the problem and gave me an estimate of $12,000 to fix the problem with no guarantee it might not cost more. Refused to provide an hourly price. They thought they had me trapped going into a weekend but I declined the deal, did my own trenching and got another plumber to hook up and test the service. They billed me hourly and did a great job, only $1400. Barbosa is the typical predatory opportunistic plumbing outfit, don't use them. I love how they won't provide work on an hourly basis but only want to give you a quote with a bunch of conditions attached that basically says they will charge you more if everything does not go perfectly. They basically lock in a huge price gouge with no downside for them.

Do not use, I would never recommend them to anyone!!!
We called McMahon on Dec 30th they were supposed to snake the sewer lines, we told them (when we called) they were going to need the big auger to bring it out. The appt. Was at 8, the guys didn't get out of the truck until after 8:10 (they charge hourly) they did not bring the correct size auger with them, spend 20-30 mins trying to get it unclogged with no luck. The auger they bring was only 100ft (with the small diameter cable) they snaked the line once with the whole line and nothing, go in for a second try and only go 75ft and quit.  Tried to tell me it's old pipes and that there is roots in it. When I told the worker it was PVC pipe less then 6 years old, he had the audacity to ask me how I knew. (Did I ask you how you know how to plumb?)  They said they would need to go get the bigger auger, which I was under the impression was going to be $135, it was only $10 and they failed to inform. They think the clog is more than 100ft, they said the bigger auger it's 120ft and stops working at 100ft, (the power of the auger was not as good) at this point they are claiming the bigger auger is not going to do any justice.  I'm already over 45 mins into my hour and I said okay we will just leave it alone until my husband gets home (they give me a quote on new sewer line ($5,000.00).... That I don't need) and proceeded to charge me $125.00 keep in mind the job was not completed and problem not solved. Later that day we saw another plumber working on the neighbors pipes, we stopped and talked to him. Bradley Earp unclogged the line with the big auger they should have brought to begin with (he said the one they used was never going to be big enough, they should have known to not even bring it) his auger was 85ft, and told me that If he couldn't get it unclogged he wouldn't charge me. He got the clog unclogged in less than 30 mins. Much better service there. A one man team and true professional.
McMahon will record what's going on without telling you, which is whatever because I was not lying about what I said but it's against the law to not at least tell you that your being recorded. When my husband called to speak with them, they said they would give us a refund because they were under the impression that the job was completed. Few hours later one of their managers stops by and says that they offered to go get the bigger auger (no clarification on price or that they wouldn't charge me another hour.) He said I'll go listen to the recording and see what was said and call you back (basically calling me a liar). They never called back to discuss the refund.... They ended up never giving me a refund, so I called a week later to see what was going on and he said he wasn't going to give me a refund because I sent them away. When I tried to explain the chain events to the (manager) he hung up on me and proceeded to ignore my calls. I 100% do not recommend this company. They sent 3 people for a 1 man job, and tried to drive up the price by bringing the wrong equipment and charging us for a new sewer line, that's completely unprofessional and dishonest. If you use this company good luck!
