5J Plumbing Plumbing Service
I haven't had to call a plumber this much (or ever) until we moved into an older house last year, but I'm thankful I came across 5J Plumbing.

Cameron & his helping hand thankfully worked me in before the weekend hit. I received a call when they were en route, which was much appreciated. They were courteous and quick to solve my problem. No complaints or questions asked when it came time to pay for their time & exceptional service. Im more than happy to shop local, and support family run businesses!

Highly* recommend them for your plumbing needs!

State of Matter Service Plumbing Service
Excellent service from a true professional.

Mark Cruz of 'State of Matter' plumbing and backflow services repaired and replaced our old water heater. How old? Well, the manufacturing date on the heater was from ~20 years ago, THAT's how old.

State of Matter had to retool the space to fit the new heater, installed it quickly, and even vacuumed the area where they worked to get rid of the dust and dirt dragged in. That's professionalism that is rare these days.

Highly recommended you call SoM and make an appointment if you need service, even on the off days and hours.

1st Home & Commercial Services Plumbing Service
I needed a water softener removed. I was not charged for someone to come out and give a quote and the quote was reasonably priced. After receiving the quote I scheduled the work to be done 2 days later. During the initial quote, Mark did a great job explaining what they would do. When he arrived to complete the work he was on time, quick, and once he completed the work he walked me through what was done. Also he practiced safe measures during both visits to my home. I highly recommend 1st home.

Plumb & Order Plumbing Service
My water heater went out unexpectedly this afternoon, and I called my plumber who was unable to assist as he was working alone today. He recommended Plumb and Order to me, saying that he used to work for them and rated them highly. I called them, and they came out promptly, evaluated the situation, and we agreed to replace my water heater. They had to go pick up the new water heater, and returned quickly and got to work. By 5 pm they were done, and had performed an excellent, clean installation of the new water heater. Tony and Connor were friendly and competent. I would not hesitate to recommend Plumb and Order, and Tony and Connor to anyone for plumbing repair.

Beyer Boys Air Conditioning & Heating Plumbing Service
What an amazing experience!! Our air conditioning unit broke the Sunday of Labor Day weekend and not only were we able to get a REAL person on the phone when we called the emergency line- we actually had someone come out to our house THAT AFTERNOON!! And, even though we surely ruined his holiday weekend by having him schlep out to our hot house instead of spending time by his pool, he did so with a smile! It was the friendliest service we've ever experienced. And, to top it all off, he FIXED our air conditioner, didn't up-charge us, and the unit is still working like gold 1 1/2 months later.
Absolutely would call them again if we ever need work on our air! Highly recommend.

Shafer Services Plus Plumbing Service
Despite running the recirculating pump on my outdoor mounted Tankless Water Heater, I had some partially exposed bypass valves freeze up. In my attempt to get water flowing again, I used a propane torch (cooler than MAP Gas, less likely to cause secondary damage) to warm the valves & try actuating, to free up blockages. Ended up breaking off valve handles.

At 7:45 AM on Friday, I called Shafer Services. (They had taken over the operations of Steve's Plumbing, who was best plumber in town, before retiring). Regardless, I advised them of specific situation and that the repair would require 2, possibly 3 each 3/4 90 degree-actuating PEX ball valves. I also requested an afternoon appointment, so that the temperatures could rise up. I was assigned an appointment between 1:00-3:00 PM.. Also, since I wasn't a member of the Shafer Family Plan there would be an additional $50 charge. (Whatever, I just wanted my hot water back on)

At 3:15 PM I called to check the status, and was informed that the plumber was running late on his prior appointment, but would be at my home in about an hour. He finally arrived around 4:45, as temperatures were beginning to fall, again. He took a quick look and saw some frozen sections of PEX. Stating that he had just used up two tanks of MAP gas thawing out pipes in a similar situation at his last job, he suggested it would be best if he came back the following day and performed the work when the temperatures were forecast to be warmer. Looking at the hourly forecast, I advised that he wait until after noon. He agreed and said he would see me the next day.

At 1:00 PM, the next day (Saturday) I called Shafer, to check on the status of my follow-up appointment. I was advised that I wasn't on their schedule for the day. When I inquired why, I was told that they needed parts, and that the Supply House was closed on Saturday. (Despite the fact that I had advised them of the exact parts needed at 7:45 AM Friday, and that Fergeson's Plumbing Supply is open until Noon on Saturday). They advised me that they couldn't get back to my house, before Tuesday.

Regardless, I advised them that I had figured out a way to work around a sediment filter, that I no longer needed. This would eliminate the need for any replacement valves and simply required a new 3/4 PEX Line from the Water Heater to the house return inlet. Supplies that any plumbing vehicle should have on hand, at all times. I was told, that, given this new situation, they should be able to get their next free plumber over to my house. (Probably between 3:00 & 4:00).

At 3:30 I decided to check the status, and received a voicemail message, that they were closed. No one ever showed up.

Out of frustration, with most of the PEX already thawed, I grabbed my propane torch and some pliers (to grab onto what was left of my valve handles) Thawed out the ice in the valves, and was able to bypass all of the damaged sections of my equipment. (Subsequent to the initial visit from Shafer, a$250 Scale Cutter housing ruptured from ice expansion). It has now been a week since my initial call to Shafer, and they have NEVER called to follow up. If they dare send me any invoice, I plan on telling them where they can shove it!

I've already ordered a replacement Scale-cutter system for my Rinnai unit. I'm not sure what plumber I'll be using to install and clean up the PEX Tubing, but it most certainly will not be Shafer.

Infinity Plumbing Plumbing Service
Stay away from this company.  If your home warranty service wants to dispatch them, decline, avoid, run.  We had a water heater that needed to be replaced back in 2016.  After paying for this warranty service for years, it was good feeling to finally be getting something in return.  But how disappointed we were when this plumber came out and informed us that before they could install the new water heater, they'd have to install a PRV (pressure relief valve) at the meter and charge us over $800.  I called and spoke with Gina (owner) about this issue and explained that we already had a PRV installed a few years ago when we had a water softener installed.  She was extremely rude and tried to tell me that the PRV was installed in the wrong location and it needed to be at the meter.  I argued and challenged that because the PRV, even if in the wrong location, was still located behind the water heater and reducing pressure before hitting the water heater or any in house plumbing.  She basically told me that I either pay for a new PRV or she would inform American Home Shield (warranty company) to deny the claim on a new water heater because of failed requirements (high water pressure).  However, she did agree to reduce the price to $600.  So, I agreed.  After the install, the pressure inside the house was horrible.  I called them back and they told me the PSI was set accordingly at 75 and there was nothing they could do about it.  Fast forward three years later, this PRV goes out, resulting in even lower water pressure and a loud banging and rattle noise on the pipes .  After doing extensive research for a professional plumber, I found a company that came out and confirmed that the PRV was no good.  He also told me that the PRV used was extremely cheap and low quality maybe even used or refurbished.  He installed a new one, much better quality and guess what, water pressure has never been better and its set at 75 PSI.  Makes me so angry that for 3 years we dealt with low water pressure resulting in only one shower, no flushing toilets or running a washing machine or dish washer at the same time.  I absolutely HATE this company for the RUDE woman (and I'm being nice not calling her what I really want to say)  that I had to deal with that put us through hell for the last 3 years.  Stay away from them.  Trust me!!!  No good, no good at all.  They primarily only work for home warranty companies and seek reasons to rip people off and give warranty companies reasons to deny claims.
