Wonderful service - on time and very friendly! Something was wrong with our shower and we weren't getting hot water. Turns out a scald block needed to be taken off. The price was a bit more than I anticipated but well worth the warmth. Definitely recommend Atlas!

Star Rooter is great!!  Last week we called them because of problems with the toilet.  They were great in locating the problem (a broken pipe from house to main).  We thought this was going to be such a hassle, getting permits, etc but we didn't have to do anything, Star took care of calling PGE to mark the gas lines, they got the permit, they prepped the area and then got the work done the week after when they got the permit, It was done in hours.  Julio was great as well as the crew.  They were all courteous and polite and cleaned up after.  Thanks so much Julio and crew!!

I had a sticker shock when I received this month's water bill, which was more than doubled a regular month's.  I knew it must have been a running toilet or faucet to cause such a big increase, but can only identify one I recently replaced  the fill valve myself.  I came to yelp to ask for a quote, and Elite Rooter was the first to respond and promptly scheduled an appointment for the next morning.
Sal showed up 5min before the appointment time, and was very polite, professional, and friendly.  He used his flashlight to quickly identify the problematic flapper and gave me instruction on how to replace the flapper myself by getting a new one from  Home Depot.  His visit was free of charge and he did not hesitate to help at all!  I am very happy with Elite Rooter and will definitely use them in the future.

Jeebz was on time, courteous, neat and most importantly got my drains opened. Also, Taz Plumbing was able to respond to my clogged drain quickly and with a tight timeline too. I highly recommend Jeebz and Taz Plumbing!

Be aware, they charge a $40 fee for an estimate (can be applied towards later work). This seems unusual, as other plumbers I found on Yelp do not charge for an estimate.

Ben came by within 30 minutes, and found that what I thought was a leak was actually an issue with the sealing around my bathtub/shower. So not actually a plumbing problem. He didn't charge anything for the visit. When we do have plumbing issues in the future, though, we will definitely call Save Now.

Had a small clog this morning with our toilet and called a bunch of places and did quote requests on Yelp.

Chatted with Ygnacio on the phone about the issue and he identified that his Alameda Rooter employees were already busy, so he quickly dispatched his Oakland Rooter employees.

Keshab was fast and great! Got his help replacing a leaky faucet with a new one and he was able to come the same day. Prompt communication, quick and clean work, and excellent value. The first handyman I have hired without any problem in SF.  Would 100% recommend!

Doesn't get any better.  Our 10 year old tankless water heater went out suddenly and Brooks with Moore Homes Services in Santa Rosa came out to assess the issue.  The decision was made to replace after contacting manufacture service rep for verification.  Brooks went well beyond in his assessment, due diligence and articulating all our options.  The replacement was completed within a few hours.  Seems so rare anymore to experience such a timely, well spoken, knowledgeable, courteous and skilled individual.  Highly recommend!

Amado and his team are always responsive, and will problem solve until the issue is completely fixed. Westgate re-did our entire plumbing for our remodel. Highly recommend.

Had a leaking hose in the kitchen sink, and the source of the leak was a mystery.  Called Precision, and Ray came out the next day and solved the problem in about 1/2 hour.  Very professional, fast, and reasonable.

The customer service is top notch at this company!  They've done small to larger projects at my house for several years now and they are the only plumbing company I call for plumbing repair, maintenance and modifications on a house that is over 70 years old.  Recently I had the main water supply line to the house show evidence of leaking.  I called that afternoon and Romero showed up first thing the next morning to take a look at the problem.  We decided that a replacement of the line was needed.  I was concerned about the unique established plantings as well as how to do the work with a four foot brick retaining wall in place.  Romero addressed my concerns, provided a price and let me know that they could start right away!  The rest of the crew was called in and work was completed by early evening!  This even included some concrete work by them.  I am very pleased with the work at a fair price and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for great work at a fair price.  I also needed the irrigation sprinkler line relocated.  Today Romero gave me a price and I am working with them to schedule the work to be done.  Cynthia is great at the office, providing information and following up when needed.  I  have also received pricing on a sewer lateral replacement as I anticipate selling the house in the future and will have them do that work as well.  This is a great company providing excellent service.

We became first time home owners 5 yrs ago and got several plumbing surprises with owning an old house.  Fortunately, Bayshore Plumbing has come to our rescue on all these occasions.  Juan or one of his guys would always come out immediately to assess the situation and come up with a list of options for resolving things. He even listened patiently to some of my cockamamie ideas about how to fix problems. In the end, Bayshore always give straight reports, doesn't use scare tactics to get business, delivers what they promise, and if you are not satisfied, always make an effort to make things right by the client.  In the 5 yrs, they have installed a clean-out, done routine snaking, installed new sinks, and fixed leaking toilets as well as our water heater.  Our house has other plumbing problems and Bayshore has always been sensitive to our financial limitations.  Instead of doing a pressure sale, they helped us come up with a long term plan to maximize the life of things we have and fix only what truly is broken or dead.  Their price is reasonable but it is their service we always appreciate the most.

I had a plumbing situation that needed immediate attention. I had a gas line that had to be moved right away or my kitchen wasn't going to be installed in the timeframe in which I needed. Shedrick came out fixed it quickly and masterfully. He fixed a bathroom sink perfectly. And the next thing he's going to be doing is a new head the bathroom shower. I absolutely recommend him.

When one of our sprinkler system's pipe broke, these guys came very quickly, and very reasonably priced.

Work was done efficiently and the problem was fixed. Would hire them again.

I needed a septic tank to sewer conversion. I chose Avalon Services, Inc. because they did their research BEFORE submitting a bid. (Another firm had a lower bid but reserved the right to increase it when the project manager arrived to start work.) Since I had looked into this project several years earlier, I knew Avalon was more realistic. Will Feliciano, the owner, was very professional, kept me informed and was a pleasure to work with. So were his workers and Jose, his foreman. Will was usually there working alongside them. We ended up having to install a pump but Will had advised me before I signed the contract that it might be required. He only charged me for the pump; not the considerable extra labor. We had one miscommunication about a possible pipe replacement under my house. That would have been avoided had I placed it in the contract. We both thought the questionable pipe had been inspected internally during this project. Since the main project had been completed, I was very worried it wouldn't be addressed. In my experience, most contractors would have walked away or charged a fortune to do it. Will and I worked out an amicable solution. The work was completed at a later date at a fraction of the cost I had anticipated. He only charged me his cost with no profit. All in all, Avalon Services, Inc. provided high quality work and professional standards at a reasonable price. It's so nice to find an honest contractor who truly cares about customer satisfaction.
Will also came up with an inexpensive solution to a problem created by a previous contractor who, instead of installing the plumbing for my washing machine underneath the floor, had placed it above the floor and built a platform to hide it.

We needed to repair our tankless water heater which was throwing an error code. I told the scheduler what the error code was ahead of time. When the technicians arrived they frantically started looking it up in the internet to try to figure out what the error was. I also felt like they were trying to get me to leave and not look at what they were doing. Then they took off the cover looked at the heater and told me it was going to be $170 on top of the $95 dispatch cost. They didn't even touch the thing to see if what they thought the problem was , could actually be it. I left for a few minutes and came back to tell them I didn't accept the quote. They put the cover back on and then proceeded to lecture me and tell me that they were educating me (I'm a woman so maybe they felt they needed to...). The next day I had another company come over. They had the job done in an hour, for 2/3 of the price and didn't mind me standing next to them. They also found a screw that this company had left loose - which just goes to show the level of quality this company has.
