Yearly plumbing inspection was very detailed . Went through every source of water in and out of the house. Explained everything to my understanding.

A member of their 'club'. Had a hole in an expansion joint in the crawl space connecting the kitchen sink to the sewer line. A rat had chewed his way in this 2 inch rubber joint, probably looking for food from our garbage disposal. It was a hole that was about 75% of this 2 inch rubber coupling. Water was about 1 inch running about 10 feet. So glad that we caught this early.
So 2 guys came out. Gave me an estimate of $840 including a $140 discount.
What? To replace a $10 rubber coupling. That would take 20 min max to replace?
Their reasoning? They would have to build a a platform to lay on to replace it. So that they would not get dirty or a little wet! If there was no water it would be half price. $400.
I replaced it in 20 minutes. Used a small piece of wood to get above the moisture.
This establishment is a rip off. Their club with 2 inspections a year is great. But watch out if they find something wrong. Or if you need emergency repairs.
I do not recommend them.
Very good, thorough service! I needed my aging, A/C unit checked out and Wyatt and Brandon did just that... and more! They also looked at the heater and attic space. I was very satisfied with their work, as well as being very cordial and polite. They explained everything and gave me options. I recommend Moore!
If you have tens of thousands of dollars you are looking to spend unnecessarily, look no further -- Moore Home Services is the place to go! The short story is they sent two technicians to my home for 3 hours on one of the hottest days of the year to fix my AC. They left me with a $25K estimate to replace my entire system and a very hot house. I immediately called a local A/C company (too busy to take more business -- otherwise I would name them here) who came out for 30 minutes, fixed the AC and counseled me on the proper maintenance to keep it going for the next 10 years! The total bill for the expert was $218.
Of course whenever anything breaks, total replacement is always an option. But after I told them no less than 3 times face-to-face that I could not, under any circumstances, afford a full replacement the only thing they could offer was a full replacement. They'd rather leave me sweltering in a hot house than win a customer for life with a quick fix now and a big fix down the line. They are either completely incompetent or knowingly did not make an easy repair to hold out for a bigger sale in a moment of desperation. Whenever I am ready to do a major replacement I will NOT be calling Moore.
Moore is nothing more than a marketing machine where the customer is dead last. I should have known better when it took them 13 minutes to pick up the phone when I first called and had to endure an audio ad loop about the benefits of replacement. When the first tech arrived, he spent two hours slowly casting fear, uncertainty and doubt that any repair would be meaningless. When I continually told him I would not be able to invest in a complete replacement, he called in back up and a second technician came to double up on me in the third hour and push for the big sale. It was intimidating, uncomfortable and a total waste of time.
We are so happy with our new AC unit, exceptional customer service and quality of work from Moore. I highly recommend using Moore. 100%. The customer service is wonderful from scheduling the initial free estimate to the installation of our AC unit. Our home feels wonderful now on warm days! Thank you so much!
At first had a appointment and no one showed up had a confirmation and everything called and talked to someone who was very very rude didn't care that they had missed the appointment. I then got a new time which was today a Saturday I called to make sure they were still coming, I talked to Eileen who was very very sweeet and nice and told me they would be here within the hour. George showed up and was beyond amazing! He fixed the problem, was very professional, funny and personable he even asked if there was anything else he could help me. Thank you to Eileen and George for making this easy and being so helpful and friendly.
Moore takes care of my heating and a/c. I became part of their club so an initial call is $19. Club members get yearly tuneups of their HVAC systems.
I had Alexander come out for a plumbing issue. There was a leak under the house causing the sump pump to trip. Well, he found the source. During the process, I asked him to check the pipe fittings. We wound up repairing some corroded pipe fittings. One thing leads to another.
I highly recommend Moore.

Make sure to confirm their corporate hourly rate so you just don't get a service line item( mine turned out to be over $400 hour).

Once you get the appointment the technicians are courteous and thorough.
They ask for any additional problems you noticed while they are there and are helpful to point out solutions. I recommend joining the membership club as that does help to benefit your bottom line.

This was a routine plumbing visit and Alexis changed the water in the tankless. The house was built in 2019 but we still have Moore check the HVAC and Plumbing once a year. The technician was very focused and did a great job.

I had our furnace and ducts replaced and a/c added last year for $23k. I referred 2 friends who also spent over 20k each.
I had a plumbing inspection. Tech found a joint with a drop of water under house. I never got a quote response. I called to get quote
Agent sent receipt for inspection. Called back and was stunned by $1445 quote to replace 3feet of pipe. I asked about getting some relief for the $65k I and my referrals spent. Overpriced! They said it was firm.
I will not pay this crazy price for a small job.I will hire someone for half! Poor follow up and I don't blame Moore for not calling with this Incredibly high quote. They were embarrassed!!.

Our hot water boiler exploded when we were out of town.
Moore came to the rescue in the most expeditious and professional way, sending a technician to evaluate without delay. A superb technician, Raymond, went out of his way to have the boiler replaced, even though it was late afternoon. He was able to locate another technician, Alexander, who joined him to replace the old boiler with a much more efficient and safer one. The two did a superb job not only in installing the new boiler but in explaining what was wrong with the old boiler and providing info about the efficiency of the new one is. They completed the job that same evening.
We recommend them highly and without any reservation.

Moore technician did a maintenance check on my plumbing as part of their maintenance service agreement. Alexis the technician was on time (he called ahead to comfirm his arrival). Justin was great! He repaired my A/C unit in one visit after 2 other techs from different companies said they couldn't fix it without coming back with expensive parts and labor with the highest quote being almost $4k! And it turns out both techs before Justin misdiagnosed the problem!
Justin fixed it for a fraction of the cost the others tried to charge on his first visit. Give these guys a call before you pay price gouging scam repairs by other companies.
We had a slow/not draining kitchen sink with a clog that was very far down the piping. The scheduling process with Moore was very smooth, and the technician Roberto who came out was prompt, super friendly, very communicative throughout, and was able to solve the problem. Would absolutely recommend. Thank you!
Man! I wish I would have written the employees who came outs name down! They deserve all the credit! I didn't like what they had to say, but I can't fault the service, only my furnace. $99 to come out and inspect was among the best prices I found. The two employees were knowledgeable, and honest. I highly suggest Moore, in 1 min they figured out what PG&E couldn't!
I think this may be my third review for this company. I just have to once again express praise for the excellent work that was done today. My old water heater finally sprung a leak. I usually have Nick & Justin service my heater and air conditioner, and Russhead does my plumbing. However, this time they dispatched a new employee Raymond.
They were able to send him out the very next day after my call. He confirmed my water heater could not be repaired. He offered a top-of-the-line new 40 gal. water heater with 10 yr. warranty. I was a bit taken back by the quoted price, but I knew I wanted a professional upper-end unit that would be installed RIGHT.
So many of the models you buy from local big box stores (Home Depot. Lowes, etc.) seem to have so many reports of leaks and problems. However, the better professional models seem to be sold by professional companies like Moore, Cal Steam, Ferguson, etc. I was going to turn down the deal because it was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but I really wanted a higher-end unit and I've learned you get what you pay for alright.
Raymond got on the phone and was able to present my own counter-offer to the bosses and they accepted it! He was able to install an excellent higher-end model today and he spent much of the day paying attention to every detail imaginable. The work was stellar and I just want the company to know he will soon be one of your most asked-for installers. Great job Raymond!
I had the pleasure of having my furnace serviced by Abdullah this morning with Freddie apprenticing. These guys went above and beyond to figure out why my furnace kept turning on and off. They checked my attic, they monitored gas flow, they looked and cleaned the duct. In the end, I got good recommendations a cleaner furnace and hopefully a reduction in my gas bill due to their efficiency. In addition. Freddie offered to take out my trash bins for me and broke down all the boxes in my garage while the testing was going on. These guys made my day! Well pleased.
So many problems with this company! Completely disorganized and bureaucratic.
Had AC installed a couple of weeks ago and the install was fine, but the AC doesn't work.
Been calling trying to get someone to come out, but every time I'm on hold for 10-30 minutes while they juggle me around to different people. Invariably someone will say someone is going to call you back and no one ever does! What a joke.
Also been trying to get a quote to install a fridge water line. Two technicians came and then sent a quote to install something else. Been calling two weeks in a row for the correct quote and nobody ever sends it back! Finally they said a new technician has to come out to start the quote process again. Then turns out that technician is not qualified to give a quote on the job. So they again rescheduled after the appointment had passed! At this been juggled around for a month and still no quote.
Complete joke! A lot of times when you call they also farm out the customer support to some third party who has no idea about anything and just takes down your name and promises to call you back but never does!
Their membership is also totally useless. It was supposed to come with prioritized service, but I can't even get call backs as a member and appointments are scheduled with days or week lead times and are rescheduled or missed when they come.
Since having an outstanding experience with Moore's about five years ago when they replaced asbestos-laden ductwork in my condo, they've since installed an Air-Scrubber and performed routine maintenance on my 20 year old FAU.
Just today, Mike Pagliuca came out and stopped an annoying vibration on the unit, and also replaced the scrubber under warranty. And just a month ago, Ryan came out to my wife's therapy office - a circa 1940's, McDonald Drive area SFD converted to commercial zoning - and found that they could service the heat pump on that structure.
Having retired from 35 years in property management and construction, I've learned who's a genuine shop that bases their reputation on performance and customer service, and who's an imitator.
Moore's is the real deal, and I'm quite pleased to be part of their family of customers.

Sadly this could have been a 5 star rating but the following occurred. Came out for a free bid on a new HVAC system adding A/C. Tech was here a long time, spent extended period of time looking inside the furnace. Gave his bid and left. 2 hours later, as my home began to feel cold, noticed the thermostat was blank. No heat. Called the company twice. After repeated long holds and having to ask for management, I was told there was no after-hours tech and I'd have to wait until 10am-812pm the next day. It was to be a stormy cold night. I had a fully functioning furnace when he arrived and one that was shut down when he left! They have lost this 22k job due to one tech's negligence. Mistakes happen, but failing to remedy the issue properly is another. It's clear to me that this is a company that does not value their customers and can take or leave 22k. Good thing I have 4 other company's bids, one who will get my business.
Thank goodness for Google. Furnace door was not properly put back on, leaving the system non-operational. It took me all of a few seconds to secure the door properly and voila, system functioning again!
Manager called me the next day. After giving a few bogus excuses like the weather, techs out sick,(at 4:48 when I called, the tech who came out to give the quote should have come back out to fix his mistake) call center couldn't trouble shoot, I asked for his call back number. He was going to provide it but stopped, said he could text it instead. No shocker, no text and no number provided! (Text just arrived a couple minutes after posting this portion of the review.........)He further said he was ok with me deciding to go with another company and had seen the yelp review and was wanting to see what he could do. The ONLY reason he called was ultimately to see if I'd take down this review. The experience is only getting worse. Own the mistake, offer a real solution and then follow through..none of which was done.

Called them out this time to take a look @ our compressor for the house's central air. It knocked out, of course, on a 100 degree day. They had a technician out to us w/in 4 hours. And this guy, Nick- what a pro!
He switched out our bloated capacitor, explained it step by step to me (& my 8 yr old!) and was done in about an hour. When he came into the house to check the temp & go over billing, he wore a mask & shoe covers. He went over their monthly service plan, there was no pressure, no up-selling. He was patient, professional & needless to say, the a/c is running beautifully & I am a thoroughly happy customer.

Two years ago we decided to upgrade our furnace. We had a few bids but decided to go with Moore and sure glad we did. Fast forward to this morning ( a very cold morning) and I went to check thermostat but it wasn't working. I called them and their very polite and responsive employee Monique walked me through a few steps trying to troubleshoot. Unfortunately non worked so she scheduled a service tech to come out today. He ( Abdullah, a local guy) showed up on time, was knowledgeable, polite, and nice, checked out the system and determined my thermostat was bad ( which was only 2 years old). He had another in his truck, replaced it, and job was complete! We've dealt with Moore on a few occasions, and they really live up to their radio ads! Thanks Monique and Abdullah!!!
Years ago we saw several reviews about Moore and decided to sign up with them. It's $19.95 a month which includes 2 visits for routine HVAC maintenance each year as well as a number of guarantees. The techs are great. They take pictures of everything they look at and do. Perhaps the main thing I like about them is if I have a problem, I do not feel it is necessary to call around looking for the best price for someone who will fix it instead of trying to sell me a replacement.

Another successful service visit from Moore's. We had a new furnace installed by them during a 2015 remodel. Moore's has serviced the furnace annually under a service contract. We have had 8 years of extremely thorough, competent snd friendly service from them, without exception. Having the furnace tuned up annually has kept the system running very well. Everything has been taken care of. The furnace is working great and the permits are being taken care of. I tried to remove the first review but I got an error and so I could not remove or update the review.
Moores home services does good work but they need to learn how to communicate with there customers before we get worried that things are going wrong.
Moore came to do periodic maintenance on my HVAC and discovered issues. Mauricio and Jeff did a thorough inspection and spent a good deal of their time walking me through my various options. I was impressed by their professionalism and responsiveness and will call Moore again when I have maintenance needs.

Our Navien instant water heater needed servicing. Moore thoroughly cleaned filters and descaled the system. They also noticed that
the internal hot water re-circulation system had not been properly hooked up. Two other local notable plumbing companies did not catch
this issue nor did they catch the fact there was a wasp nest embedded in the internal air filter.
Bottom Line - Moore did a fantastic job. They are not inexpensive, but I think competitive in pricing. The diagnostic abilities were excellent.
New remodel and AC wasn't working.
The contractor who did the work had not wired the AC unit correctly. I called Moore Home Services and Ryan and Ira came promptly and completely fixed the wiring.
The unit is now working perfectly.
I am very grateful for the expertise.

This is the second time they have not shown up with no call but yet they require the customer to confirm twice that they will be there for the appointment. I called and they said sorry our tech is out sick (this excuse gets old after the second time). The one time they did show up the tech was excellent. Scheduling and Customer Service are the worst.
Moore - or less? I really used to like Moore when they installed our AC system in 2015. Back then, they were locally owned and really did stand behind their motto 100% Right or 100% Free. However, since they were bought by a larger corporation a few years back, they have been very unreliable.
First off, the technicians themselves are great - professional and friendly. When they do come, they do a good job. However, trying to get Moore to keep a booked appointment has proven to be a continual challenge. Over the last year or so, I've had a handful of appointments cancelled or rescheduled at the last minute, after I had adjusted my work schedule to be able to accommodate their visit.
Today was the last straw. I had an 8-10 am appointment for which I had cleared my work schedule through noon. At 7:35, Moore calls and says they need to reschedule, AGAIN, for another day. I told them to just cancel my membership, my appointment, and that I would not be doing business with them again. Period. I've now wasted too much of my time where I've cleared my schedule only to have them try to reschedule at the last minute.
And then there is the issue of not being able to contact them through anything but their main phone number which is often met with long wait times, and I am done.
Take your money elsewhere to a locally owned HVAC service where you will get the service you plan for.
Monday 4:00pm. Strange noise coming from bathroom. Walk in to see sewage bubbling up and over toilet and also into bathtub. Same in master bathroom. We are members of Moore Rewards so I call them because we have Priority Scheduling. After explaining the situation of sewage coming up and out of both toilets onto the floor carpet etc., our priority scheduling got an appointment for Friday! 4 days away. I mentioned our membership again and the fact I am disabled and my wife is fighting cancer and we are unable to wait 4 days to use the bathrooms and use water in the house. After checking with dispatch she said Thursday was the best they could do. I told her this could not work and I would make some calls. I called a plumber with a good Yelp rating, and they said they could be there at 8am the next morning. I called Moore back and told them to not bother with appointment.
My problem was solved by the other company within 30 minutes or so the next morning and I called Moore Home Services back and talked to same person. I felt like I was being talked down to. They asked me what company did I call and how much did I pay. I told her it was none of her business who they were and it cost a lot less then 3 or 4 night stay in a hotel. I canceled my absolutely useless Moore Rewards membership. A person who identified themselves as a manager named Sandra called me about 30 minutes later trying to get me to stay a customer. Why? 17 hours without water and a working toilet was enough for me. How could you suggest 4 days as okay? Bottled water and poop in a bag? I lost my trust in this company and will never recommend them to my friends again.
Edit as of 12/6/22 - The management of Moore did contact me to sincerely apologize for what had happened and offered to wave my service fee if I stayed with them and they did follow through with their guarantee. I appreciate this gesture and was not asked to make any changes here on my review. I still cannot continue with my membership with the rewards program. Sewage pouring into your home just needs priority when you rely on your trusted professional relationship with a service provider. Thank you for the service we enjoyed in the past years. I am changing my star rating also.

Two days before New Years I heard a water leak under the house. I'm 80 years old and stopped crawling under the house to solder pipes and my last plumber was not available, so I found Moore Home Services on Yelp and called them. They sent over a football player size guy (Dario) who looked under the house and said there wasn't enough room for him to crawl in. So, it will cost $500 extra to dig a trench. I put up a fuss and spoke to his boss on the phone and received a discount. Moore then sent over (Eric) a normal sized guy who fixed the leak in about one hour without having to dig a trench. Moore called me after I wrote a review and we were able to resolve our issues and they sent me a reimbursement.

I absolutely LOVE these guys & gals! From dispatch to plumbers to HVAC techs, they are all-around 5* quality! Friendly, with excellent communication and customer service skills! Bayardo & Tom specialized in plumbing and Dayle and Arlo specialized in HVAC. They were able to identify and troubleshoot the problems and offer options for repair.
Their annual service contract is a great value because it includes 2 maintenance visits plus 20% off other projects.

Routine air conditioner service very thorough. Tech (Joe) went extra mile and checked out furnace room as well as AC. He replaced filter and explained everything in detail.
Moore Home Services did an outstanding job with the very challenging installation of our high efficiency Lenox Natural Gas Furnace. They had to return to our home to produce the result that they and we wanted, and they did. Daniel, Dayton along with his installation team did and outstanding job. During the recent cold snap, our furnace was malfunctioning. It was short-cycling - it would run for ~10min, shut itself off, and - in about 10 min - it would turn on again.
A quick yelp search and I requested a quote from Moore Home Services. They got back to me right away and were able to schedule a technician to come out right away. I was notified via phone before the tech's arrival. The tech was able to diagnose and repair the issue quickly! The house is once again warm and comfortable!
Should we need HVAC work in the future, Moore Home Services will be the 1st call!

Moore installed an HVAC system in my home, all new ducting and attic insulation. I am totally amazed with the installation.
Following that, 6 months later our water heater failed. They came out the next day and installed a new one.
Yesterday, my house sewage drain backed up at 4:50 pm. We called Moore, they showed up at 5:30 pm and snaked the line. They were able to get the blockage cleared. If they didn't come out, we would have gone all night without using water or toilets. We would have gone to a hotel.
I am really impressed with the company and the technicians.
I Highly recommend calling Moore for any services you may need.

This is just a review for my specific experience today. Took 18 minutes on the phone to book my annual furnace inspection and I'm a Moore member. Brutal.
Moore was scheduled to come out today between 8 and 10 a.m. to replace 2 dampers in our heating system. Since no one had arrived by 9:45, I called to find out when they would be here. I was told that they wouldn't make it today and would have to reschedule to next Monday. Their excuse was that they had too many emergency calls so there was no one available to replace the dampers. I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise but not not calling or texting to let me know that no one would be here is inexcusable. We pay a yearly fee to be in their gold club which specifically includes priority scheduling for service calls. So much for that!
The faulty dampers are resulting in not being able to heat our living area because the dampers to the guest bedrooms are stuck open taking most of the heat. So it is going it is going to be a cold weekend.
Given no other choice, I accepted their reschedule for next Monday.
Escalated and talked to manager who stated it was totally unacceptable to not show up without notifying us. He was very understanding and ended up having one of his supervisors come by and install the dampers. The Techs he sent new what they were doing and were very polite. Would have given 5 stars+ based on the techs that fixed the problem but had to factor in what happened. Thank you Edwin and Ryan.
We were having problems with our Lennox HVAC which was installed a couple of years ago. Lennox recommended this company for servicing in our area of Petaluma.
Ryan came over right on time. Even though all we needed is to change the filter which we were not even made aware of by the company that installed the HVAC. He rebooted the whole system and got it working immediately. But the best part of the service is when he explained to us in detail about our Lennox HVAC that we didn't know about , the upkeep that we need to establish, the intricacies of an HVAC system (all in words that a layman like us can understand ) and recommended changes in our home to have the system work more efficiently. We decided to sign up for their yearly contract because of this. In all the best service anybody can ask for.

They are so good, so professional and so courteous.
We redid a job recently.
Their team came and redid it perfectly and did not charge us a penny.
They are super fast with schedules and are always ahead of time and do a quick and clean job.
I have used several services in the past and I have never seen one that comes so close to perfection.

I made an appointment with Moore Home Services for an estimate on a heating unit for my home. They confirmed the appointment, telling me they would arrive between 9 -11am and listed my address. They would call 1/2 hour before arrival. All good. I made plans accordingly. I called them after 11 when I hadn't heard from them. I was told We don't service your area.
Now, why would they make an appointment with me and arrange for someone expert in home heating to come to my house, clearly knowing where I lived, confirm the appointment and then do nothing? ? That's what I asked them. I've got no answer. Look elsewhere if you want somebody reliable.

Abdullah Aimaq came to fix our furnace which was constantly running and he immediately determined what the problem was. He switched out our defective thermostat for a new one and reset the furnace. It took him less than 30 minutes and we were back in business with everything working correctly. Abdullah was polite, friendly, professional, smart, skilled, and generous. Because of him we immediately signed up for the company's annual maintenace program. I highly recommend him and the rest of the company technicians.
I've been a member of Moore Home Services for about a year and a half and had one of their service techs come over for a routine maintenance on my A/C unit. They strongly recommended me to install a Kickstart Compressor Hard Start Assist Kit which they had on hand. They said it was $650 but since I was a member they offered $450 and would take ~20 min to install. In a rush I made the mistake of saying ok and would do the due diligence later.
No where on the invoice did is mention the brand, model, or even the name of part. After calling the tech to get the specifics I was able to look the part up and it is $59 part online! I called back to get an explanation on why there was such a ridiculous markup and their response was simply they are running a business and need to make money.
In my opinion this is a dishonest business practice and have no trust in their advice and have asked for a refund and to cancel my membership to which they agreed immediately.
On a side note, I agree that the part was in fact a good recommendation but the way it was presented along with the lack of transparency with the cost of part I can not recommend using their service.
We have had very positive experiences with Moore in the past and spent a lot of money on new A/C, furnace, attic fan and attic insulation over the past few years. An attic fan installed last year is malfunctioning- very loud rattling that clearly should not be happening. Technician came June 1st and agreed the fan needed replacing, stated the labor was under warranty (great), he would order the part and I would get a call for the work to be done. We waited 2+ weeks for the replacement appointment (today). Technician arrived to complete a 'diagnostic', knew nothing about the replacing the fan. Now I need to miss work for a 3rd time and wait another week. I am a Moore club member which does not seem to matter in this instance. This is not an 'emergency' but the fan rattling is extremely loud and disruptive. My advice-call to confirm what you expect to have happen at every appointment. Again, not the technician's fault. All the technicians we have encountered have been polite and professional, but the communication seems to have worsened since the company was sold.

Moore Home Services broke our heater today during what should have been a routine service call for an entirely different issue. They left us without heat on a night where there is a freeze warning in effect. Moore advertises 24/7 emergency service, but when you call them, they will only help you if you've subscribed to their $20/month premium service. We were pitched this service today by the technician and actually agreed to sign up, but since that agreement hasn't gone through yet, no service and no heat for us. Is it fair for a company to break your heater and then refuse to fix it in a timely manner unless you've paid an additional charge? This is really questionable. An answering service responded to our call and reached out to a Moore manager, explaining that Moore had left us with no heat. The manager responded that he wasn't going to help and we'd get a call sometime during business hours. AVOID this company. This lack of care is shocking and completely unethical. I'm filing a complaint with the CA Department of Consumer Affairs and highly recommend everyone else who finds themself in this situation do the same.

Feb/2023 . My Furnace didn't work for about a week or two so I called Moore to come and rescue us . After 30 minutes, One of the technicians told me that my furnace needed to be replaced. Water got into it and it needed to replaced as soon as possible . The second technician arrived and He gave me two options for a replacement 8,000 usd or 10,000 usd . OMG !!!!!! 8,000 dolllllllllars or 10,000 dolllars for a 1,2500 square foot house (3 beds and 2.5 baths) . Fortunately , I said no and I called a different company . Today, a technician from a different company came by and He found out that everything was fine . The thermostat was loosed and He re-wired the thermostat wires (2 mins) . The total visit was 20 minutes . He charged 285 for the whole thing and I gave him 300 dollars . I thanked him numerous time . Never again , Moore .
After years of working with Moore, I finally got a competent technician. Jeff Gregory identified the issue with my A/C and suggested a solution that worked (installing a compressor). I was skeptical and told him I need a guarantee which he agreed. After 5 years of dealing with a sub-par A/C installed by Moore....having multiple techs come out and tell me that I was expecting too much (all I wanted was to NOT have my house get to 80-90 degrees INSIDE with the A/C running full blast). I gave it one last try with Moore and Jeff Gregory immediately identified the issue and solved it. So I apologize if this is a not so hot review but I want to give credit where credit is due. If I had to do it over again, I would have initially called another provider. Or just adopt Jeff...

Moore is a first-class organization with great people -- from the reception staff to the technicians.
Kudos to Robert Rossi who came out to prepare an estimate for a new HVAC system. Professional, knowledgeable and polite, Robert is also a great guy. He arrived on time, got right down to business, got the information he needed and delivered multiple quotes for different HVAC options within a day. It doesn't get better than that. While the project is still some time in the future, Moore will be one of the top contenders for the business.

This was one of the best experiences I've had with plumbing professionals. Desmond and Brian were extremely polite, friendly, respectful, and professional. They got the job done and went the extra mile. I am very happy with their work and will definitely hire Moore again for any service they provide.
I'd add that it is so difficult these days to find people who are trustworthy, so this is always an added relief. I think it's important to mention that. I get the sense that this is a company that takes pride in their ethics.

This is my second review for Moore, this time for their HVAC service. We purchased a new furnace through them after getting several estimates. They installed the furnace within the week, spent all day bringing us up to code (we were apparently not before this installation) and even swept up right before they left. I can't recommend them enough to people who need plumbing or HVAC assistance.
After having them out twice in less than a week I figure it's only fair to give some appreciation for the impressive service from beginning to end.
Scott H. was very informative with every finding he had & communicated all the various options we could take. In the end, he ended up saving us almost $200 all while getting my AC & furnace both cleaned & maintenance monthly for the next year if any issues arise. I couldn't recommend them more.
The speed at which I was able to be seen in such a busy time of the year still impresses me. Thank you again, my doggos couldn't be more excited to have heat in the house again!

Every superlative I've read about Moore Home Services on Yelp is true. I know because my experience of this company installing a new furnace and ducts in my home is an affirmation of them all.
I interviewed seven companies for this project. After each had done their pitch and quoted the work, Moore's bid turned out to be the least expensive, but for this quality of work and service I would've expected to pay much more.
When I had a non-emergency issue with my new thermostat over a holiday weekend I left a message with their answering service. The next business day I had not one but two phone calls from them by 9:30 am and a technician was scheduled to handle the problem in two days, not two weeks or two months.
Every person who works for this company that I've had contact with, and there have been many, is pleasant, warm, and caring. I absolutely get a sense that they're being genuine. When they say they'll do something it's not an empty offer; they actually do it!
As for going above and beyond, I have many experiences that affirm their commitment to making sure their customers are satisfied with the work done, and more.
I've already referred Moore Home Services to several friends and neighbors with glowing reviews. My only regret is that there aren't services other than HVAC and plumbing that they offer. Would that every company took such good care of their customers and their homes. Image that!
My heater would not fire up after a power outage and freezing cold weather with snow even! I tried every trick I knew, resetting the system, unplugging it and checking for power which it had as the blower would come on. I knew it was time to call someone. I spoke with Natalie and she walked me through a few things then asked me to flip the breakers on and off. This was something I would have never thought to try as I was sure it had power, to my surprise it fired right up. Thanks to Natalie my home is now warming up from a very chilly 59 degrees. I wanted to pay her for her time but she told me this was part of what they do. I will definitely be using there services in the future. Thanks Natalie for being so kind and friendly and helping me out of a jam.
Good service and friendly people but scheduling an appointment with them takes years off my life. They make you wait on hold while they talk to somebody else who's the scheduler and so you're constantly going back-and-forth trying to find dates and times that work via a middleman for some reason. I just got off the phone call that was almost 20 minutes and we still haven't set up an appointment for a quote for a new heating system because the manager was insisting I be present and it's a second home so that's not convenient. I hope they change their process about scheduling or I may look elsewhere.

Turns out The Home service plan covers NOTHING Except the. Work they do, which is a Problem BECAUSE THEY DON'T do anything, except sell the Service plan! Getting an hold ofc Them again is Not Possible. IU Had the Bank Charge back the cost of the BOGUS service service and that did get a all but, when I asked about the Part the were supposed to Order, they would have to call me back, that was 3. Days. Gab, ad Again I have been trying top Connect with a Human to find bout about the part to Finish the heater!

I would like to report my high regard for Moore Home Services. Rats had decimated the ducts for my heat/AC system in the crawl space of my home. Because of that I was losing much of the heating and cooling benefit of my system. Every person who came to my home from Moore, from those who assessed the situation to those who removed the old ducts and installed the new ones, was kind, informative, patient with my questions, professional, and thorough. Not one of them left my home without asking if there was anything else they could do (Mario climbed a latter to retrieve something high in my garage that I needed). I felt respected and cared for with every step of the way. I'd like to specifically commend Jeff, Mario, Uri, Abel, Jason, and Sam.

I will start by saying that all the service people were very polite. However, considering that they promote themselves highly and state on the website As always, our promise to YOU is that all of our services are 100% right...or 100% free™!..... the work was atrocious. It was not done right, and it was certainly not done free.
A furnace replacement project in November 2021. A new furnace was installed, and some time later I went to inspect the filter, only to discover that NO FILTER had been installed on the unit that I had been running for a while. Contacted Moore, they came to inspect and sure enough, NO FILTER. They agreed to correct, and after multiple delays, a filter was finally installed in June 2022!! I am no expert in these matters, but it appears that the unit was simply disconnected, a filter box was shoved in there, and then they patched up with some kind of sealant glue.
If any project should qualify for 100% correct or 100% free this should be one!!
Very disappointed.

I have used Moore for several years and they have always been very responsive, but somewhat expensive.
Recently, we had a need for a new hvac unit, and asked Moore to provide an estimate. Their bid ,while prompt, was 50% to 80% ABOVE the other estimates, which was shocking.
The tech kept calling and trying to sell me their services which was nearly double the lowest bid and over $4,000 higher.
I no longer feel I can no longer trust Moore to provide competitive pricing.
Got a new HVAC unit and they wrote a letter for our homeowners insurance. Great company!
Really impressed with the end-to-end service and experience working with Moore over the last month to purchase and install a new A/C system for our house. James, a technician, was beyond professional in every engagement (in person, on phone, in email) and worked rapidly to get the clarity to our questions. Oscar and the install team took extreme care of our property and made sure we were informed of key steps throughout the install. Oscar was patient as we renegotiated placement of the unit with the San Rafael permit office. All in all I couldn't have asked for a better experience and it feels great to have a perfectly temperature controlled home. Thanks to the outstanding team at Moore!

City paid me a visit mid afternoon and told me that I had a water leak at the meter. It was my responsibility and it was leaking 24 gallons an hour. I called Moore home services and within 30 minutes they had a plumber out here to fix it. I was so grateful. Desmond went above and beyond and was here for a few hours. I Moore sent tech, Chris Ostrom, to work on our poor output at a vent furthest from the furnace. He diagnosed the problem quickly and efficiently. Then he did a thorough general inspection including swapping out the filter and blowing out the drain to make sure it was clear.

I absolutely recommend Moore! We needed to replace all of our ductwork under the house as well as the furnace. To start with, Dale came by and spent a thorough amount of time looking inside and below the house. It was akin to having a mini-home inspection. He noted the job scope, showed me pictures from underneath, and when he got done he shared pictures and a video of two leaks he had spotted in my water line feed under the house (which I later addressed). What company does that? The bid was fair and addressed all my needs, and having received other estimates, we gladly selected Moore. When the job started I was notified beforehand and even the day of to confirm arrival. Marcus and his crew were timely, cleanly, and started right away. I was convinced there was no way they could finish the entire job within two days. They got so much done on the first day that they even finished early on the second day! I was amazed! The new high-efficiency two-stage furnace is fantastic. No more air coming out from under the house and my home heated quickly with the new ductwork in place. I don't usually write many reviews, but I'm happy to share this very positive experience I had with Moore Home Services. I will continue to work with them for both maintenance and some new work coming down the pike. Thank you for the great job!
Update: the company refunded my $99 service fee visit, so to be fair, I raised my review to 3 stars. But I must stress that the quote they gave was nearly double what I paid to have my regular home service company in Santa Rosa do the exact same job. And my other home service company has all the same features, including a 1-year warranty on all work. I initially went with Moore because I was impatient and did not want to wait a week for my appointment. Let me tell you; I saved $1000 by waiting a week!
When I called this morning I wasn't expecting to get same-day service, but I was so thankful they were able to fit me in by the end of the day.
Daniel and Sean were incredibly helpful and so friendly, explained everything they were doing every step of the way, and kept troubleshooting again and again until my heater was finally working. They offered me lots of options and were very respectful and so kind. I'll be using Moore, and requesting Daniel and Sean, from now on!

Easily the best plumbers I've ever worked with! Chris Finger and Tommy from Moore Home Services took care of my plumbing nightmare like total professionals. Not only did they fix my issue in half the time I expected, Chris even took the time to teach me the basics of plumbing and walked through how my issue was created over time. He also showed me how to work on other plumbing issues I had in my home and gave me and my wife confidence in our homes plumbing security moving forward. I can't thank Chris and Tommy enough, I don't write reviews on Yelp or anywhere for that matter but this experience was truly exceptional. I truly trust this company and you should too! Today was our scheduled annual HVAC service and Chris O. called and arrived early and came in the house with mask and booties over his work boots. He was very professional and also greeted our 2 dogs and a cat. He serviced our unit, checked the ducting in the attic, and confirmed the thermostat was all in good working order.
We have again renewed our Annual Membership in the Moore Service Plan and using it over the past 3 plus years has been a good investment.

I have been doing business with Moore Home Services for many years. The people they have sent to my home have always been extremely courteous and friendly. They are very knowledgeable and helpful, and they always solve my problem. I cannot over emphasize their courteousness and knowledge level. When they come into my home, they always wear booties over their shoes which I greatly appreciate.
Last week our air conditioner stopped functioning. They sent a technician named Steven Herrick to our house on a Saturday (at no extra charge). This young man has been in the business for 14 years and he was obviously an expert. He educated my wife and I about our problem and gave us several options to fix the unit. He presented us with the bare minimum cost to repair our problem, and then he educated us about an additional part we could install that would likely extend the life of our 22 year old outdoor AC unit. We chose to install the additional part based on his explanation.
He also educated us about a maintenance agreement for that saved us almost $ 400 on the service call for that day. The maintenance agreement provides two visits per year for preventive maintenance that they automatically schedule, I do not need to call them, they call me to schedule it. In addition, when we eventually need to replace our outside unit, the $ 20 per month maintenance fee will be credited to us on the purchase of a new unit. And on top of that, we get priority response during busy time periods because we have the monthly maintenance agreement.
In today's business world, I am usually not completely satisfied with the service I receive from vendors; I find them lacking in some area. I have always been 100% satisfied with my 6 or 7 experiences with Moore Home Services, including the installation of my new heating unit a couple of years ago. I appreciate this company and the service they provide to me and my family. I highly recommend you give them a call if you need the services they provide.
Moore is the best! The AC in our new place stopped working and they sent an excellent technician named Steve to take a look. Steve figured it out right away and we were back in business by the end of the day, including a programmable thermostat that we thought might have to wait for another visit. Every person I had contact with from Moore was knowledgeable, polite and professional.
Technician was very knowledgeable and nice. Only negative is had to wait on hold the two times I called. Will definitely use them going forward!

I just bought & they installed a Mitsubishi Mini Split Heat Pump system for our house. It both heats & cools our two rooms, is unbelievably quiet and is warranted for 12 years.
Our bid & eventual contract was estimated, sold and expedited by Derrick and Eric Murry
The installers, led by Zack Ford, assisted by Joe Brummell and trainee Jeremy were excellent and meticulous in their work.
The whole process was excellent, great price and quality work and materials.
The Mitsubishi units are very energy efficient & only require a single 20 amp 240 volt circuit.
Upon my annual A/C inspection, my Senior Service Tech, Jeff G., spotted a couple of other hardware issues nearby. He easily identified them and then corrected these items. Who does this anymore? Anyway, my hats off to Jeff and the whole Moore crew. Their motto of 100% right or 100% free is valid!

Our water heater went out. We got two quotes for a replacement. Moore was not cheaper, but they were in the same ballpark and ready to do the work immediately. Bryan and Desmond completed the work and communicated fabulously. We felt like we knew what was going on every step of the way.
I cannot say enough good things about Bryan and Desmond from Moore. They came out today to help clear out the main line after a gross sewage overflow mess. They were patient, kind, and informative. First off, they came out when every plumber could not get to us in weeks. Cleared our mainline in less than 15 minutes for $88 and also fixed a clogged sink ($35), a loose faucet, and made time to caulk our shower and bathtub (which had been a nagging need that we just never got around to). Prices were so reasonable, and the whole process from booking to job completion was seamless. In a world where it's hard to trust, if you are not getting ripped off by the experts, it's nice to have Moore now saved in my phone.
I decided to replace my 25-year-old furnace and install a new air conditioner.
My initial consultation with Mike Lewis was extremely thorough and stress free.
Two weeks later (per my request) a team arrived and installed both units.
Here is where I cannot give higher praise. The quality of work was outstanding. The electrical and refrigerant lines were all routed to be physically and visually unobtrusive. There were no ugly pipes anywhere in the garage or outside the house. All securing devices were symmetrical and appealing to the eye.

Proudly advertise 100% right or 100% free. Completely false advertising, they completely messed up a furnace replacement, and attempts to follow up went ignored. If the work they did for me is any example, I would never use them again.
This company is amazing. I have used them on numerous occasions for different things at different houses and I have always been very impressed with the people that they send out both for the quote and for doing the actual work. The office keeps you informed about when they will be there and are very friendly. The people know what they are doing and always leave the place looking great. They may be a bit more expensive than other companies but I appreciate how they coordinate with electricity people etc and I don't have to organize anything. I always use them for any hvac and hot water heating issues.

Bottom line: They earned my business for life! I called Moore because my A/C was making a loud noise trying to kick the blower on and the house wasn't getting as cold as it should. Only 3 days later, they came right out. Expecting a sales-like, up-sell filled experience, I was pleasantly surprised at my technician Scott's demeanor, knowledge, professionalism and customer service. He took the time to really listen to my concerns and started on an extremely thorough diagnostic off all the components and used a laser gun to test the temperature coming from the vents. This guy did not just check boxes, he went above and beyond like nothing I've ever experienced before. Scott even went into my attic to check the return air duct and insulation when it was a cool 141 degrees up there on a 100 degree day!!! After filling my refrigerant, taking components apart, cleaning and putting back together, I felt extremely confident that we knew it was the circuit board. Did he tell me to immediately change it out and fork over $800? Nope! He told me it was cool to keep using it as-is until it doesn't want to work anymore. Again, expecting to be sold on a bunch of stuff I didn't need, I actually saved money by signing up for their $19.95 per month maintenance plan and have the peace of mind knowing that I will get 24-hour priority once it finally kicks the bucket. For $19.95 a month they do a tune up 3 times per year, do an annual plumbing inspection and drain the water heater. I am very happy. He even made recommendations for adding insulation and installing a solar attic fan to help my whole house fan kick butt and save on my PG&E bill.

This review refers back to a one star review which I gave Moore on this Web site a couple of months ago. It is about how Moore Heating and Air Conditioning went above and beyond the call of duty to correct a certain situation.
A few months ago, I had written about an event that occurred with Moore roughly five years previous , that I felt I finally had to get off my chest and write about in Yelp. Here is the rehash of the previous event so you understand how wonderfully Moore responded in the present to fix it:
5 years ago, Moore had sent a representative who had given me incomplete advice in the installation of a furnace which did not take my entire circumstance into account. I was installing Solar at the same time I was searching for a new furnace and had made that situation quite clear to the Moore Representative
So, as written previously, the Moore representative failed to take my imminent installation of Solar into account. If he had, he would have encouraged me to think of installing an electric heat pump furnace, so that a good part of my heating bills could be paid for by the energy generated by solar panels.
As it was , he encouraged me to replace my gas furnace with another gas furnace and told me to approach Moore separately for a Solar quote. This was a huge oversight on his part, and ended up costing me extra for furnace gas bills every year.
I was so encouraged by Moore's good reputation, I did not feel a need to get a second quote--that was my error in the situation.
I only found out about this issue by chance a few weeks after installation of the gas furnace, about how the heat pump furnace would have been a much better option in combination with my solar system.
NOW WE COME TO THE PRESENT MOMENT: One or two weeks after I wrote about that incident, a representative from Moore, called me up! He indicated that he and others had read what I wrote on Yelp and had shared it with the rest of Management. They had researched my situation and more or less verified that what I said happened was accurate.
The person who years ago had botched serving me appropriately, was no longer with the Moore, so there was nothing to do in that regard. However, they felt so bad about what had happened, the management at Moore headquarters in Sacramento wanted to correct the situation and give me a free Heat Pump Furnace! That included free installation!
I could scarcely believe my ears. When was the last time anyone heard of some a thing? Not that the solution they they were proposing was inappropriate. It was eminently appropriate. But for a large company to, recognize an error was made and to offer to extend themselves to a customer in that way, was an extremely uncommon and magnanimous gesture, and really set Moore apart from the others in the field. In fact it set Moore apart from other companies altogether.
It communicated that Moore was not just another corporate entity, putting profits over the needs of customers-- but that they really did listen, and respond to their customers and take them into account in a fair and just manner.
But there is more to this story. After a few months they were able to bring a top line heat pump furnace to my home and install it (just last week), along with installing a new digital thermostat in my home. The two guys who did the installation were friendly and capable.
It was about mid day when I asked them, how the heat pump on the outside of the house communicated with the thermostat on the inside. He explained that the system had private WiFi connection.
I told them that, I needed a wired connection because I am one of those people who are hyper-sensitive to wireless EMF. I had hard wired my home with Broadband ports as I learned the hard way that WiFi kept me wide awake at night. I asked if there was a means to hard wire the connection between the heat pump and the Thermostat. They looked into it and reported back to me that there was a means to do that.
I told the installers, that I would be willing to pay for time and materials for the hard wiring. The device necessary to complete the hard wiring of the Heat pump to the indoor thermostat arrived within the hour and the guys then explored how to navigate past an ant nest that we discovered happened to lay just under neath the hatch leading to underneath my home.
I made sure that they both left with significant tips for their excellent service.
When all was done, I was told that I did not need to pay for the wired installation either. That just capped off the wonderful gesture that Moore HVAC and its employees made to my family.
Every one, and every company, makes mistakes. Its how one responds after those mistakes are recognized that is the true illustration of character, for a person, and for the management of a company. Moore HVAC shines bright in my book. 5 Stars.

Incredibly thorough and honest, I truly feel at ease making financial decisions on large purchases (like new heating/plumbing, etc). Made an appointment in early April for a HVAC tune up. Was given an appointment between 8-10am on May 25, 2022. OK, no prob. It is May 25 at 10:30am. No show. I call the company. Yes, we're on the schedule; however, no one is available to make it today. Sorry. Next available appointment is July 25. Wow, just wow. No call. No nothing. I had to pick up the phone to find out they were not going to show. What a joke.

When putting in a new AC unit I was sold on solar and promised it would pay for all my electric use. Every year I end up with a true up bill and this year it's $4000! When calling Moore to inquire why I was simply told we no longer do solar you have to call someone else. When I asked who I was told to look on Yelp and find one myself. So, they sell you solar panels, they fail at what they promised and now I'm told to figure it out with another company with ZERO recommendations? POOR customer service. The only reason it's not 1 star is the rest of what they did was fine but this leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Would not recommend them now.
Updated my review from 2 stars to 4. A supervisor called when I posted my negative review to assist in getting everything taken care of. Had this been the response the first time they would have received 5 stars. I get business' change but the front line should be as customer oriented as the supervisor, thus the 4 stars.

Chris O. from Moore Home Services came out, performed the service (including photos inside the heater), replaced the heater filter, and assessed our attic for insulation. I just had a guy named Jeff come out and service my A/C unit. I live in the 7th circle of Hell up here in Cloverdale, and my air conditioner simply stopped working yesterday. I called Moore early this morning fully expecting a few days wait time given this triple digit summer. I couldn't believe it when he showed up this afternoon EARLY. He was thorough and super nice. After finding the problem he repaired it promptly and then cleaned the unit up after he was finished.
Given that most everything practically takes an act of Congress to get done here in California, I've got to say this company is impressive. I'm 2 for 2 now with them. Great all around service including the women in the office. Customer service isn't dead after all! I highly recommend them. *****

I have always been able to solve my own plumbing issues and have never had to call in a plumber before. I was extremely stressed out about the cost and having to deal with someone trying to charge me more than necessary. I live in Napa and called around to multiple plumbers local and non-local. I spoke with Jessica over the phone and she explained to me that they would come out to Napa and unclog my drain for only $88. No travel fee. No surprises. And if I was unhappy with their services there would be no charge. I figured it was too good to be true but gave it a try. They showed up same day and on time. Chris and Steven fixed the problem in under 30 minutes. Despite the 100° weather they were friendly and absolutely loved our dogs. I paid $88 with my card. And they were off to their next job. I'm in awe. I can't believe this is real. I HIGHLY recommend them if you have a simple plumbing issue you can't solve yourself. They're wonderful. I'll be calling them in the future for any new plumbing issues and won't have to stress out over it. I'm so happy right now. Thank you guys!
I can't say enough about this company - actually , their employees and their customer service. They came out to my mom's house (she's 82 and lives alone) when her heater went out during a cold snap. My neighbor recommended we call Moore. David was our first contact and he was so helpful and polite and understood how critical our need was. Do not call Moore if you need service or repair, they literally exist to push new equipment sales.
We spent over $1100 yesterday on replacement of capacitors and a blower motor + labor.
Within 15 minutes of departure on the second visit, the a/c will now not even run for more than 10 minutes. Previously it ran but inefficiently.
Why do I say that they exist to push new equipment sales?
First tech: you know we can sell you a new unit, you know I could just take this apart to haul off for a new unit. We have great financing!
Second tech: you know we have great financing. We could just get you over to sales for a new unit.
This morning: Sales calls before we even have a chance to call dispatch to get them out a THIRD time to fix what they broke.

Ryan at Moore hvac is an amazing technician. His service and attention to detail were top notch! He made sure our AC unit was leak free and running at peak performance. I would recommend Moore hvac to anyone looking for quality service for AC, heat and Plumbing.
Winter arrived and I decided it would be a good idea to have a furnace check-up-- I've had baseboard heaters for years and forced air is new to me. Getting a non-emergency appointment for their check-up special was a month out, but they have a good reservation system and you are reminded by text in advance.
When the day came, they also called when the technician was 30 minutes out and they were right on time.
Technician was helpful and answered all my questions while cleaning my furnace, inspecting the attic space, and installing new filters. They are a little heavy on the sale pitch for upgrades, but backed down when I was clear where my budget was, and didn't push anymore after that.
(It wasn't obnoxious - but it's clear they want the upsell- no doubt why they offer such a good deal for the check-up).
They also upgraded my thermostat, installed it, and help me get it all set up on my WiFi.
Overall, very happy and will definitely use them again.
I have used Moore Home Services for a number of years, beginning with a complete replacement of my HVAC system and all the ducting beneath my house, which required them to use a two foot crawl space for the ducting replacement. They did the job in under two days after estimating three days to complete. I got some extras as well that had not been factored into the price estimate...no charge. I've also used the extended service plan for years and it has been well worth it. Today Allen Eastep was the technician doing the inspection and needed maintenance. He was phenomenal! In these days of horrible post-COVID business practices and customer service, Moore is maintaining their exceptionally high standards. They are staying true to their hiring practices, meaning all their employees are first rate. Cannot recommend them enough.
I'm a Moore Home Services Member and I just had my routine Heater maintenance service done by their Service Technician, Chris Ostrom. He was very professional, friendly and efficient. He went over everything he did including showing me photos of what he did. In the course of his maintenance check he noticed that I had some new drapes and rod laid out in my guest bedroom. He asked if he could hang them for me! I haven't had the energy to hang them yet so I said yes. He quickly got to work and had the rod and drapes up in no time!! Unbelievable service, above and beyond. Thank you, again Chris Ostrom!! I will always use Moore Home Services!
EDIT: After posting my review, I received a very nice phone call from Danny, the manager. Danny was genuinely concerned about my dissatisfaction and wanted to know where things went wrong, how they could do better and how they could make things right. After explaining to him the details of my interaction with the corporate and local offices, Danny was able to easily assess at least two areas where there was a lack of communication and/or miscommunication regarding their prices. I appreciated his assessment as I felt the same way. Moore ended up refunding me for the full job and Danny assured me he would be speaking to the corporate office as well as the local office regarding this issue. He also said he would do follow up training in the local office. To me, this is what makes a company successful, good customer service and customer satisfaction. As far as the quality of work, I was always pleased with what they did and like I said previously, their technicians were very nice and helpful. Due to Danny taking the time to reach out and listen to me, the quality of the work, the nice, helpful technicians and Danny's desire to achieve customer satisfaction, I am changing my rating to 4 stars. Thank you, Danny for reaching out. It made all the difference in the world.
I had been warned about Moore and the people who warned me were right. Start out with one price and end up with another. They had a reasonable special for a clogged sink, never once mentioned a dispatch fee on top of that or any other possible fees. Hesitately, I booked them. The original quote was $77.00, in the end it was $432.00. Lesson learned! The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because their technicians were very nice and helpful. I do not mind paying additional fees if originally disclosed but that was not done by email or by the person I spoke with prior to the appointment.

Marcos and Nate were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Marcos explained in detail what he was going to do. The work was exceptional and I appreciated that they followed all COVID protocols and were very conscience about keeping my floors/cabinets clean while they worked. I had Moore Home Services installing my A/C unit 3 years ago. From the very first call, all that we received at home was excellent service. Last year, I had a small issue and they dispatched a technician right away. This technician was a little bit too pushy in selling their new service plans. It left me a so-so flavor experience at that time.
Last week, my a/c was not working and I contacted them again. The Company were in constant communication with me, to continue giving me updates about my service appointment and the location of my technician.
This time, I had the pleasure to interact with Ryan, their technician, who arrive on time! Also, he spend time necessary in trying to find the issue with my A/C. He explained at the end of the visit what was the issue and came back with Greg and Scott, to fix the issue. While they gave me the window of 6 hours, they finished in less time. All under warranty, without even trying to up sell any other services...
Ryan, Scott and Greg were very professional, knowledgeable and most important, honest! I would definitely recommend Moore Home Services and this team! They are an asset to this Company!

I found a water leak under my house. I called Moore and they sent a technician that afternoon. Although the quote was higher than I expected at the time, the 2 plumbers were so very professional, and they had to replace 40+ yr old galvanized pipes(over 100 ft) with rusty connections in a crawl space full of spiders, rat poop and pools of water that had was about 3 ft high. Mike and Stephen were so good about keeping the house clean with booties to replace the pipes under my kitchen and under the water heater. They explained everything that had to be done. I researched copper piping and connections and it is really expensive stuff!
I am so glad that they were able to complete the entire project within a day so I could have water again, and they flushed the water heater,too. Thank you Mike and Stephen as well as Eric and Alexander who fixed the damage that home depot did when they attempted to do an install earlier this month. Very good employees.
If you use these guys ( don't). They will send you mail for the rest of your life and are rude when you ask them to stop.

Today Nick from Moore'S came so inspect our furnace and vents. Lauren called us a day in advance as a courtesy and then on the day of to confirm Nick's arrival time, which was as expected and on time.
He did a thorough inspection of our vents, thermostat and of the furnace. He found a unattached pipe underneath the house which he reconnected. He thoroughly explained the conditions and concerns. Afterwards he gave us an idea of improvements that could be added to help with the cooling and ducts and vents.
From the initial scheduling of his visit, to the courtesy calls, to the actuall visit by Nick D' Angelo today, we could NOT BE MORE PLEASED OR SATISFIED! WOW!

Boy, sad to say, but it's rare these days to see incredible customer service. That said, Chris (at Moore) has been amazing for us. He came over a few weeks ago to tune-up our furnace for the winter season. He was so knowledgeable, polite and respectul. After the service we decided to become a member. When you consider the cost/benefit analysis, it was a no-brainer. He didn't pressure us in any way, but we realized the value of membership. After researching it for a few weeks, we also decided to buy an air-scrubber. Yesterday Chris installed it. Last night we noticed a minor issue after he installed it. We called Moore, and Chris came out early this morning - we must have been his first call - and fixed the issue immediately. I cannot recommend Moore, and specifically Chris, enough. He exemplifies the very best in customer service.
Update to earlier review: Moore sent vaccinated techs to fix the problem and were very professional and accommodating .. also the general manager contacted me personally to assure me this would be handled to my satisfaction.

Hands down, the best customer service I have ever had in my long life. From scheduling the service to the call back for the fussy thermostat, this company gets it right. Dillon, our tech, spent over two hours doing a furnace service; explaining everything I asked about, taking photos and videos under the house and up in the rafters. And Madison was the epitome of courtesy and helpfulness on the phone. Simply stellar service. We joined their annual club which is an amazing deal for furnace, A/C, and plumbing. 10 stars!

Moore installed our new furnace last week. I felt something wasn't running right. I called Moore on Saturday and first thing Monday morning their tech Oscar came out and found an incorrect setting and a blown fuse an corrected it all. I really appreciate his speed, thoroughness and expertise.

As new home owners, we are learning about all of ups and downs that come with home ownership. We are also learning about the costly repairs that go with it. I made a request for an inspection quote with Moore Solar via Yelp for $49.00. A competitor wanted to provide an inspection quote at $149.00!
Our technician, Cameron, was knowlegeable, funny and thorough in his work. He was clear when explaining what work needed to be performed, how long it would take and how much it would cost. After discovering some prior work was not fully completed, Cameron spent the better part of a day ensuring our heating unit was functional.

* Supply Plenum repair
Our biggest issue was the sound of the air blowing through the vents. On two rounds of going back into the attic, Cameron was able to adjust the flow just right. When the job was finished, he worked with his office to get us the best pricing.
With so many unknowns and unexpected situations that can come up as a homeowner, it is reassuring to have a technician who is trustworthy and knows what they are doing.
Yesterday Moore Home Services installed a new furnace, air conditioning unit, attic fan and replaced all my ductwork in my wine country home. The technical team was highly professional, knowledgeable and considerate. In particular, Morjen Jean and his team impressed me with their happy demeanor and patience in explaining how everything worked and answering my many questions. I could not be more pleased with the serviced provided. After meeting with five different companies earlier this summer, I know I made the right decision to select Moore Home Services and would highly recommend them.
10/25/2021 Five stars for Cory! My furnace is new (2020), but has never worked properly. The furnace turned itself off repeatedly while heating. I had had two other companies come out to trouble shoot the problem, with no success. Cory quickly spotted the difficulty and fixed it! Friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, Cory explained the problem and solution to me thoroughly, so that I understood. My furnace is working perfectly now! Thank you, Cory, you are the best!
A perfect installation of my a/c system. On time, finished in a single day. On budget, just as the contract said. Installation, very professional and it updated my 30 year old system. The guys involved were all skilled in what they did. I would recommend Moore to anyone looking for an honest dealer.

The product, customer support and installation were about as close to perfect as you can get. This morning the darn thing wouldn't start so, after checking everything I could understand, I called them for help. The quick reply was, Will you be at home between 12 and 2? Later a phone call to let us know that they would arrive at 1230. On time, full checkup and furnace running at 115.

Info...... company came and did an Hvac tune up next thing I know heater doesn't work. Called them back and they said I-need a new heater. It was not in my budget.
luckily I Encountered someone who did work on heaters and they came out to fix it in five minutes at no charge I might add. I truly feel that moore heating was trying to make me a customer at a very high price even trying to sell me a deferred payment Situation. They later contacted me and try to make good but I did not need a new heater at that point.
We used this group of fine people to install new ductwork. They were pros. Very personable and professional and believe it or not, the least expensive of five quotes. After the project was complete they set us up with an inspector from the city. It's good to have new duct. Always use licensed people. That's what my great great great grandfather told me with his last dying breath.
Today we had Nick and Steven come and do our annual service on our AC. They not only checked every part, but they did a thorough cleaning and now we not only have a clean looking AC, but we have cleaner air. We have had our Bryant Heater and AC for close to 14 years and we have the Moore maintenance agreement as well. I also learned they could service our water heater and we can get plumbing through them as well.
My wife and I have been very happy with the service. We also received an email reminder and a call this morning letting us know when the technicians would arrive!
Moore Home Services currently manages service on my heater and air conditioner and does a great job! I have also had them install a new air conditioner, water heater and attic fans. This last visit Ryan and Dillion installed my my second attic fan and they were so courteous and ensured the front door was always closed so my cat couldn't get out.. I just had to worry about her getting in their way:) They did a great job cleaning up. I could not have asked for more! Thanks Guys!!
I had Moore install an AC unit for me in 2018. One of other companies that did also gave me an estimate tried to bamboozle me and said my existing furnace also should be replaced (5k). Moore estimator gave me a good price for the AC unit and didn't mention furnace. When I asked him he said he inspected the furnace and there was no reason to replace it. Fast forward to 2021, the AC and furnace have been working great. Scheduled a routine maintenance appt. Justin S. , the technician was prompt, courteous and efficient. He also reviewed their membership service plan with me and I took the opportunity to signup for it which covers my water heater, AC, furnace and has some other benefits. This is an honest company with excellent team members. Highly recommend.
I just had my second service visit from Steve Herrick, the fantastic AC/HVAC technician who works for Moore. With 14 years of experience in the industry, and a tremendous working knowledge of all things heating and cooling related, he could not have done a better job diagnosing and fixing my 2 different issues. And a super nice person on top of all of that! Thanks, Steve!

I hired Moore Home Services to install a ductless mini-split system in my home. I'm truly blown away by how professional and seamless it was. The guys spent a week at my home removing the old furnace and ducting and doing the install. They were always on time and friendly, answered any questions, and went over and above to resolve the minor issues that arose.
I've had a lot of work done on my home over the years and this experience with Moore was truly extraordinary. The installation was impeccable and the system's everything they said it would be. I sure wish they did more than HVAC and plumbing....I'd love to have them be my go-to for roofing, solar and siding....
I just wanted to clarify that Moore did not come out again to make things right as the owner posted as a response to my post. Not sure why he posted that. As I said before, we fixed the issue.
We hired Moore Home Services to check and clean our air conditioner. Michael G. was our tech. He was on time and just a real nice down to earth person. Michael is very knowledgeable and professional. He wore a mask and booties and cleaned up behind himself. He took the the time to explain what he did. We opted to join their maintenance program, it's worth every penny. This is a good company.
We had our annual AC check up visit with Moore and Nick was the service technician . He was superb and going through all necessary aspects and areas of the AC system discovering that the high voltage safety disconnect box melted as originally the installers ( some 20 years ago) didn't spray a protective material to protect the wires. I truly appreciate Moore Home Services. With things that really matter, it's good to have someone you can trust to be honest and efficient and maintaining a level of integrity. Ryan and Jeremy have been incredible throughout my furnace issues. My furnace issues were challenging and complicated and I appreciate both of their hard work towards my problem. (Highly recommend).
Moore did a superior job in replacing all them old ducts in the attic. for 17 years I never ever had heat or air in my bedroom.Moore fixed the connection and now there is the connection. Now I have air and heat in all the rooms of my house.I am very happy. They were marvelous and very professional.

They had an opening and was able to come sooner than expected. They checked out my problem and soon my shower was draining again. I was able to get in with their special so clearing my shower drain was only $88.00. Other places said their minimum cost would be over $200.00. I was very pleased.

We have used Moore's home service for our furnace and AC for a few years and have been very happy with their quality of service.
A few days ago, after a scheduled AC maintenance, our AC stopped working properly. Moore was very responsive and sent another technician to evaluate the entire system and find out what happened.
We were very happy with Gustavo Rico, who did a thorough investigation of the the system, performed various tests, took his time to determine what was wrong and what was needed to fix the problem.
The technician answered our questions and made sure we were informed about the status of the investigation along the way.
Once he identified the defective component, he left a loaner component installed for us, so we would not have to wait until the delivery of the new component to have AC running.
Although this was not a pleasant issue, we thank Moore for the prompt response and great service.

Mike and Steve made it to our house the same day I called and fixed the issue. They also had pictures of a major leak we had in the sewer line and fixed it the following day. Both very professional. My wife and I recently purchased a home in Bennett Valley. Since the home was built back in 1976, we have been busy updating everything from the electrical, painting, flooring and everything in between. During our mini renovation, we discovered that our existing ducting under the house is corroded and more than likely heating cooling the world but not the interior of our home. Since we are new to the area, and didn't know where to turn we searched on Yelp and found Moore.
Jason came out back in November and confirmed our fears, but he did an excellent job at helping find a solution and explained in detail how to remedy the problem. A few weeks later Kazu and Tony came out and in just one day installed new ducting (11vents in total). They were both super nice and very courteous (Highly recommend both of them).
Also included in our quote is a post assessment. Trevor and his team came out and measured the performance of the install and made sure it we were fully satisfied, which we completely were.
Without hesitation I highly recommend Moore and will for sure use them in future.

This is from an email from your company. You might sell a good product and your installation team does a good job, but your customer service is the worst I have ever encountered! I purchased a furnace in Feb 2019 and it took until Nov and numerous phone calls to receive the rebate we were promised.
If I ran my business they way you run yours I would have been out of business years ago.
Have used this company for several years for our heating and air conditioning. Their representatives have always been top notch in professionalism and service! Our most recent inspection was done by Ryan Lowe, who was communicative on his arrival time and thorough in his inspection all the while respectful of our safety and was quite a congenial young man and he was a pleasure to deal with!
Simply called for heater check up at my Sonoma County home and Cody visited. He just opened the door to my heater and viewed the unit. Spent 15 minutes with us, mainly talking about life. Then charged us for the heater tune up. Just said it looks good. Never again.
I placed a request on Yelp to clear a clogged sewage line on Saturday morning. Austin was the very first to respond within moments and quoted me a very reasonable price for weekend service. The Women who answered the phone was very easy to work with and juggled to find me an open slot that day, Yes she also made my day! Bayardo arrived on time at 2 p.m. sharp and cleared the sewage backup within moments, he was great alsi. I highly recommend Moore home service's and will call them first for future requests!

Moore Home Services asked if they could come back and rectify the matter. I gave them an opportunity to come and evaluate the mini split system. They arrived on time, very courteous and professional. They said they would have an estimate in a few days. A week later, I called them back and they said they would get back to me the next day it's been over six weeks. In light of this my rating still stands at one star.
Don't use Moore! The change of ownership has destroyed the heart and soul of this business that was built on service and integrity. I would not trust my home to the sea change of people they have working there. The quality and customer service has gone out the window. They are after squeezing every dollar out of you they can. Choose anyone but Moore!

I had a really great experience using Moore Home Services. Not only was an appointment easy to schedule, but they called ahead of time to provide a more exact ETA. The best part was Russell, the plumber who came out to do the work. He was incredibly conscientious about the job - he wasn't satisfied until he repeated the process several times. When he left, I felt confident the job had been done to the highest standard. He left everything cleaner than it had been and was super nice and easy going.
Chris Ostrom came out for a furnace tune up service for my house. He was very professional and friendly and I was amazed with the thoroughness of his inspection. He showed me 20 photos on an iPad and explained everything he did and what he was looking for. He even went up in my attic and inspected the insulation. He went way above and beyond. Moore Home Services was recommended to my by my father in law recently and he also was blown away with the thoroughness and value of the service. I don't think I ever been this happy with any kind of service since I have owned my house.

My husband and I got a new furnace and decided to also install central air conditioning. Which I'm so very happy about.
Bianca came and she was great. Very professional and informative. She has a knack for explaining the whole process in simple layman terms that didn't make my eyes glaze over. I so appreciated her stopping by to check in to make sure we were happy with the whole installation going on.
Jason and a coworker were just as professional and clean when installing our furnace and A/C. They didn't leave anything for us to pick up and even had a handy little vacum to vacum up and dust etc. All 3 of them are great and Moore is lucky to have them.

We are relatively new to the area and had yet to have our HVAC system serviced. After extensive research we called Moore Home Services.
Nicholas (Nick) D'angelo, Sr.Service Technician, has now made two service visits to our home. He first inspected our AC system and just recently inspected our heating system! Both service calls involved inspecting, cleaning and adjusting the respective system as each system is quite old. Both systems are running efficiently and without concern!
We are so grateful to have met Nick and to repeatedly been able to have him assist us. Nick is very knowledgeable and such a gentleman. He has great communication skills and is very respectful of our home. He clearly explained what each service call was to involve and at the end explained concisely what he found. Per our request he gave us quotes for a variety of possible future services and explained each quote.
It means a great deal to us to have kind and credible service folks come help us in our home. We highly recommend Nick!!

We became members of Moore's program last year after they repaired our furnace. Chris Ostrom was the service representative who came by for the regular 6-month service. He ran the tests for the furnace for our main house. I asked him whether he could also take a look at a furnace in our cottage. He helped diagnose some potential problems and then immediately tried to call a different crew to come in (same day) to give a quote to help tidy and fix the cottage attic space. We will likely add the cottage to the member program also. Friendly, helpful and efficient.

A solar installation request for proposal...
The call: very quick to respond, make an appointment, and keep me informed. However, I still get notifications by text for visits to other people's homes. I've received three to date for two different addresses.
The visit: The visit was no longer then ten minutes. He looked at the roof, nodded, and exclaimed how it was going to be a easy job and that I would get the proposal in less then a week.
The proposal: Never head from them again, except for the random text messages about a upcoming visits. I called twice to ask for the proposal, and now over 45 days into the ordeal have given up and have selected another.
Overall, they are a volume business model going after everything, eating what they catch, and care little about any of the rest.
There are definitely better, more experienced, and cheaper solar companies in the area. I would not recommend.
UPDATE: Thank you for getting back to me and for trying to resolve the issue. I would think the best approach to solve the issue is to look at all of the visits your company has made in June 2019, for solar installations, and see how many of them you did not get back to and for which you owe a proposal. I would be one of them. Also, I received a text message for a visit by Jason G. as late as Monday (7/8/2019) for a visit at a different house for a different reason.
UPDATE II: I keep getting more calls about a different service for a different address. The most recent received 7.23.2019 at 3:20 p.m. for Jason needing an appointment. Still have not received my solar estimate or a call back regarding said. But I can make appointments for others.

I am a Member of Moore Services; I had a clogged shower drain Saturday morning called Moore services got service same day. Tech Jake was great worked for twenty minutes got drain clear so we thought. On Sunday morning taking shower it was clogged. I called Moore Services and got their Answering service I gave them detailed information about problem and phone number they said Moore Services would contact me Monday. Monday came and went Tuesday came No phone call. I had to call them they said sorry we missed you. Yes Jake came out again and yes he did clear the drain. But before starting he informed me that Moore Services would no longer snake my drain (which was plugged by hair and soap) for the same price because I have an older home. I pay Moore Services a monthly payment to be a member, and to hear that they want to charge more is infuriating as I paid a pretty good amount for other services i have had them perform for me. I also asked for my yearly air conditioner service which I wont get until July more than 30 days from now. One of the main reasons I became a member was I was supposed to get to the front of the line for service. This isn't the first time this happened but it may be the Last. Not a Happy customer.
I am thrilled with the excellent service I got from Moores. They were very professional. i had a problem with my ducts and rats . They solved everything!. I feel much safer now and heating working very very well. They are local and it is good to support local. i have nothing but praise.

They and their company, Moore Home Services, are true professionals with customer service and satisfaction as their priority. The final outcome was perfect and we are very please with our new cooling system.
I can say that we made the right selection in using them and would do so again.
I had Moore come in and clean & check my heater. Ryan Lowe, the tech arrived on time and just as described by the company, he did everything that they said they would do, without fail. On top of that, the thorough answers to all of my questions were more than adequate. Just what I like. I have used them 3 times now and it just keeps getting better. I would not use any other company and would recommend them to all of my friends.

Huge shout out to Ira Quackenbush! My first experience with this company and now I believe I will be a loyal customer. Ira came out to do a basic check. We'd lived in this house for a couple years and never had our systems checked - it's an old house and an overdue inspection. Ira was super thorough, kind, friendly and knowledgable. He tuned up a few things and explained things we should do to make our systems more efficient. He also discovered that we had the wrong thermostat for our kind of heater and that our duct work was, well basically falling apart. We signed up to be on their loyalty program as it's a great deal and will soon have them come out and do some more work.

I called them to service my heater and will call them again to service my AC system and whatever else my home will need in the future. They showed up on time with Masks, booties and protective gear. They were very knowledgeable and took their time to be sure everything was checked out and correct. They even recognized I had an issue with my air scrubber bulb that was under warranty and replaced it at no cost. The two technicians, Justin and Fernando, obviously knew what they were doing, showed genuine concern with my needs and did everything to ensure I was happy with their service.

After 38 years, we finally have added air conditioning to our existing heating system. We got a couple of quotes and Moore matched the price of the lowest quote we had received
Nela and Symond were our two installers and they were spectacular. Job was finished in a day and a half. And just in time too...as the temps have been right at 100 for the past 3 days.
We've been using the AC every day. PG&E bill we be a lot higher I'm sure. But we don't care. We love our cool house

We had furnace issues right when it is getting cold. :( Really glad we choose to call Moore Home Services for help. Everything about our experience with them was excellent. From the amazing tech Ryan, who went out of his way to provide great service, to Justina and the other ladies in the office we spoke with. We needed a part and it took a little longer then usual ( COVID effect). They made us feel like they really cared and where doing everything they could to get our heat up and running again. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Moore Home Services.
My thermostat just quit last week so I called the company who installed it this January and am also a member of their service club. Message machine answered so left a message, no return call. Repeated this everyday the entire week with the same results. The thermostat was still under manufacture warranty. I gave up on them and looked for a new service company and called Moore Home Services. The young lady answering the phone was very understanding and professional as well as sympathetic to my situation. I booked a service call and was given a two hour window the same day!! The service person, Nick phoned with arrival time and arrived at the start of the 2 hour window. My thermostat had to be replaced and Moore's rectified the warranty situation and exchanged the part so there was no charge. They also have an excellent maintenance program.
The service call cost less than a modest lunch. Nick was neat, efficient and just a sweetheart. Moore Home Services is now my go to place, thank you Moore!!
So, I called them to ask if the installed variable speed a/c systems and which brands they used. They said they would have to come out for an $80 site visit to assess whether or not that is what I need (Hmm, I just told them that is what I want) and could not tell me which brands they worked with or used. So, much for their call center. Then the GM contacted me. He was very helpful and I ended up scheduling 2 appointments with them. The guys showed up on time and were extremely considerate in giving me an estimate. Management turned one bad phone call into a positive experience - thanks!
Moore is a great honest company that can really deliver. I had them completely replace my HVAC system as well as the Attic package. Both went flawlessly and work great. The monthly agreement is a great value and covers you in case there is any need.
Our wall unit heater started flaking out so we called Moore Home Services, the company that installed it. Michael Garrison came out and systematically went through every part until he came up with the causes. He was very pleasant and explained what he was doing as he went along. As it turned out it was a faulty valve and a wire that connected the unit to the thermostat. He replaced both free of charge as the unit was under warranty, but what really impressed me was that he crawled under the house to trace the wire from the original unit and made sure he did not track any dirt or dust into the house. He was very pleasant and thorough and explained things in medical terms (I am a nurse). I have to say, I would highly recommend this company and Michael for doing such a great job!

JP showed up at 9:11, the exact time the coordinator said he would. We were off to a good start with that. Then, I was greeted by JP, super nice tech in a neat and clean uniform. He proceeded to clean my furnace and inspect my 10 year old A/C unit. He also inspected my attic space and made some smart recommendations about insulation. He spent over 2 hours at my house and I felt like JP was honest and very capable. If I have a/c or heating needs in the future, I'll reach out to Moore again.

Initial person was not qualified and wasted my time. Then multiple additional calls and promises resulted in additional waste of time. Too many excuses.
Will not be using this company for a full HVAC replacement.
I was super impressed with Moore and their customer service. They were always punctual and I received courtesy texts and phone calls before they arrived.
Josh, the technician who came out to assess what we needed and provide a quote was super helpful. He took the time to walk us through the different options. He didn't try to oversell us. I appreciated his honesty and immediately knew that I wanted to go with Moore even though I had a lower quote from someone else.
The install team (Jamison, Tommy, and Josh) were awesome. They were so friendly and courteous. Very respectful of our home and kept it neat. They always cleaned up after themselves when they left for the day. They also explained what they were doing as the job progressed. I can't say enough good things about these guys.
I would highly recommend Moore to any of my friends. In fact, I already did!
Moore really saved us. We bought a new home with a new AC unit installed but the performance was terrible. On a hot day the inside of the house would get into the low 80°s. We originally had Peterson Mechanical out here and they charged an awfully large fee for a diagnostic that was basically spend $17k and replace everything. I called Moore because of great referrals and reviews. JP came out and did a very thorough diagnosis, and it was obvious he knew what he was doing. We worked with them on the bundle pricing and they were very flexible on payment terms and work content.
The technicians were out within 2 weeks and all three of them were excellent. Troy was the lead and went above and beyond to explain everything and make sure we got the most for our money. Nela and Victor (AKA Salad) we're also really great. They worked hard in our attic and underneath the house to replace and upgrade all of our old ductwork. There were places that we were told were unreachable, yet they found a way to replace even those sections of ductwork. No idea how they were able to do it!
I can not recommend Moore any Moore. They delivered on their promises and then some, while offering flexible payment terms and an easy, fully electronic quote, invoice, and payment process. Don't waste time with anyone else.
This is a follow up to my last review on Moore regarding not needing concrete dug up to replace my bathtub P Trap, per their recommendation. While I was getting estimates to have that done another company discovered that it was a back up in my kitchen sink.
The owner called me, apologized and sent me a check for their services and the services of the other Plumber. I find that to be an honorable thing to do and I thank them very much for that. I will call them in the future.
After living in Sonoma for 30+ years we finally had AC installed in our home! We got a quote from a local company and Moore, while the local company was slightly lower in price for the AC compressor (we already had an AC coil in our heater), their estimate had other additional costs that would be needed from an independent electrician and they didn't provide any explanation of the scope of work or additional charges.
Moore came out to give us a quote, I believe the salesman was Matthew. He was very thorough, professional and clearly explained all to be done. The estimate included all work that would be needed and would be provided by Moore.
The installers came today, Oscar, Victor and Tong and they were amazing! Very professional, friendly and completely knowledgable. They made sure we knew how the system worked, showed us everything they did for the install and they even cleaned up their work areas when finished!
I would recommend Moore Heating & Cooling to everyone! 5 STARS!!
JP came out to our house to check our existing system and give us a quote. Even though we have not moved forward yet, the professionalism and expertice that he showed was fantastic.

Of course our old heater died during this recent cold snap. Moore installed a new, EnergyStar-rated heating unit today and we're all set! Looking forward to a more fuel-efficient life. Nice crew. Very pleased.
Moore Home Services just finished installing a new A/C system and I'm more than pleased. I started working with them when my thermostat stopped working after a power outage. Cory came down the next day and had to replace the existing thermostat since the wires were not working. It was also hanging off the wall. Cory was great and I asked him about my existing A/C and he did a thorough service check. Unfortunately at 18 years old it was ready to replaced. I had worried about this so Cory called Dale and he walked me through the various options. I opted for a new system and he had a proposal out to me in a few days. Tim and Tyson came out this morning and installed the new unit. I can't say enough about these four people. They were professional, on time and gave me answers to my questions in a way I could understand. And before leaving they asked if they could do anything for me in terms of giving me a hand. Unbelievable! I'd use them again and highly recommend this Company!! Thank you all!

Moore Home Services deserves 5+ stars. They may be the only honest and efficient heating service in the Marin County area. I got estimates from several large and small companies for a complete duct replacement with alumaflex. All the estimates were similar (except for one that was 25% higher).
I first agreed to another large company. On the work date, one guy arrived and realized that this job was too big for him to do alone. He said his supervisor would call to reschedule but I never got a call. After days of calling them, I realized that they were avoiding me. I waited 3 weeks for the work and it was getting cold. The small companies were flakey about scheduling.
I called Moore and my problems were solved. They sent out an estimator, scheduled the work and completed it all within 2 weeks during the busy fall season. The price was the same as other companies. However Moore included a permit and Title 24 energy efficiency test which are required by law for complete duct replacement. The test also verifies that the ducts are properly sealed. The other companies never mentioned it to cut corners and avoid getting their work checked by an independent party - shady and dishonest. Moore did the work correctly and passed the test.
Everyone I dealt with at Moore was efficient, friendly and helpful. They are the first company I will call in the future now that I know they are honest and efficient.
You cannot go wrong with hiring this company! The technicians were very professional and friendly.
The FIRST appointment (3/18/19 8-10am) we had was for a furnace repair. The technician Jeff G. arrived on time and after a little trouble shooting knew exactly what the problem was and took pictures which he shared with us. He even changed our air filter. After the job was complete and he was about ready to leave, we mentioned that we might need to replace the water heater since we were advised by an home inspector when we bought the house. He said that he would take a quick look. I'm glad he did because it was leaking! He went over benefits of replacing the old water heater with a regular water heater or tankless. We went with the tankless option. We made the appointment then and there.
The SECOND appointment a couple days later (3/21/19 8:30am) for the water heater went pretty smoothly and was more complex since we were changing from a regular water heater system to a tankless system. The technicians Russell and Brandon were very professional and took the time to expertly install the new tankless water system which basically took all day. They did arrive a couple hours late but called earlier to explain that they had a meeting early that morning and would be arriving a little later.
We are very happy with the results and plan on making Moore our Go To company for future heating, cooling and plumbing maintenance and repair.

We bought in Santa Rosa in late 2020 and while we knew all of our hvac equipment worked and that it had been given a tuneup by Moore Home Services (MHS) before we bought, we didn't know anything about our system, gear, age, health, ducts, etc. Called into MHS and explained the above and we had a discounted appointment scheduled for soon after (easy and pleasant process). Gustavo Rico from MHS came by and spent time with me going over all the finer points of our system, checked a few things out I was concerned about (even up in our attic), and replaced our filters (at my request - it was a few months past time). He did a good job teaching me and setting expectations about our system - I generally ask a lot of questions when trying to understand something and this wasn't an issue at all. He was totally professional and knew his stuff. Overall great experience with MHS, and will likely use them again for hvac and other services they provide (I'm looking at you, water heater).

I contacted Moore because I needed a tuneup service for my HVAC system. Ryan was awesome - he arrived on time, serviced the system and shared the feedback with me. 2 weeks later I asked Ryan to come back to install an Air scrubber.
He is a great representative of this company. He made both appointments easy to coordinate.

We were extremely pleased with the highly courteous, professional and concise services we received by Mr. Cote, the Moore Home Services (HVAC) team technician. He was fully compliant with all measures of health matters of keep distance and wearing an approved anti-bacterial mask throughout his maintenance service call. He graciously provided clear guidance and explanations as to each measure he took while performing a complete and thorough maintenance examination and remediation of the entire household HVAC system. His work ethics and professional manners reflect greatly upon himself, and the entire Moore Team. I would not hesitate in highly recommending his services for any and all current and future HVAC maintenance needs.
Had them come out and quote a new heater to replace our old existing unit. Quoted a Lenox unit with installation and when I went to sign the contact was told they would be installing a DayNight unit. The DayNight unit showed up on a contractor web site as $900-$1200 cheaper then the Lenox and when I asked if the savings would be passed on to me for the cheaper unit I was told no, they would be improving their margins on this project. Didn't move forward with the bait and switch proposal.
This review is long overdue, but Dale made our (urgent) furnace replacement swift and painless. In simple terms, he made a very complicated and expensive job into a very straight forward, efficient and affordable situation.
I wish there was a was someone like Dale working for every home service/repair operation in town.

Excellent service tech in Dale Wheeler! Very professional, friendly and courteous. Gave me quite a bit of information on both the heater and A/C. Covid compliant with mask, distancing, and foot covers. Did not make the appointment timeline window by an hour and 50 minutes, but it was an extremely hot day and calls were probably overwhelming. Call center scheduling although courteous was frustrating.
Arlo, the technician that was assigned to do our annual furnace inspection was awesome! Very considerate and professional. Offered to help us numerous times on assistance we may have needed even outside the purpose of the visit. He assisted with helping us bring in a portable air conditioner from the garage into the house.
Kept us apprised of inspection steps, findings and suggestions. Was very neat and did not leave a mess. Provided us with a bunch of information on attic insulation as well as air purifiers. Wealth of knowledge. Highly recommend!
I contracted with Moore home services to install AC in my home. I worked with them for months to decide exactly which system would be best for our home. I waited months for my installation date. Three weeks before my scheduled installation, they called to cancel. They tried to push my business onto a different company with no guarantee that this company would meet the same quoted price or timeline. Essentially, I have waisted six months on this process and now they want me to start over, with their apologies. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you actually want someone to come out and do the work.
I bought a whole new furnace and AC system for my Condo i just bought bac in 2018. Dustin was the salesperson and was awesome every step of the way. I had an extra register added a few months later by, I believe, named Eric. Solid guy. The first check up was done by Dante. Super knowledgeable, friendly and worked fast. At the time of service we had financing confusion with the manager at the time. Greg, another manager and I completely fixed the situation and I went from frustrated to elated! They will make it right. Go with Moore.
Favio and Chris Finger came to fix one plumbing problem and wound up fixing two other things that I had forgotten about. They were so respectful. Explained everything and went over and above at every turn. I cannot say enough good things about Moore Home Services.

We have been a member for a while now and decided it was time to purchase a new heater. The sales person was very kind and patient and not pushy. He explained everything that would take place. We got the heater installed yesterday by Kazu and David. They were both very professional, thorough and kind. It took most of the day and I appreciate ALL that they did. He even painted the inside where the 'old' filter was so that it wouldn't show a big hole. Overall I was VERY pleased and can't say enough for everyone we have dealt with at Moore.
So, I am lowering my rating today. There was a minor misunderstanding about the installation and I requested the salesman (Mathew) to call me about it. He has never called and now my trust, and the companies credibility has gone down. Customer service can make a company or break them this was NOT okay.

Purchased new furnace and AC unit in Aug 2017 from this company. Furnace has been excellent. Didn't use the A;C much. Didn't feel it worked super great, plus I'm a little thrifty. Last week during heat spell, it simply wasn't cooling at all. called Moore, great CS, and the tech they sent out was the absolute best. His name is Mike and he dialed in the coolant to the perfect level and everything works perfect now. Highly recommend the tech Mike.
I am so grateful for my monthly service agreement with Moore services. I pay for a plumbing maintenance and a HVAC maintenance with a monthly fee. Once a year Moore comes out and does an extensive assessment and maintenance on my systems. At first I didn't like paying the monthly fee but I no longer question the value of this service. And I don't usually speak out about home services like this. But this week I had both my plumbing and my HVAC annual maintenance visit and Moore did such good job assessing, maintaining and cleaning up our systems. They tuned up some small needs that we had. They worked professionally, clean, with coronavirus masks, and thoroughly. I'm really grateful. It feels like they are a good home services partner for us, caring for our home investment and comfort.

BEWARE, service techs are on commission. I joined there service club a few months ago. Over the weekend I had no heat. Moore came out first thing Monday morning and advised the part that needs replacing would cost ~$1,200 which is the member's preferred price. I asked about weighing my options since the furnace is 20 years old, and is it better to replace rather than throw good money after bad. Jeff called and scheduled for a Sales person to come out Thursday. In the meantime, I left the room, came back and he was on the phone with the supply house, part would need to be custom ordered from China would take 4-6 weeks and cost an additional ~$150-200 for shipping.
I called around, Adam's Heating was able to come out 2 days later with the part and replaced for $700. Also, advised the secondary part that Jeff from Moore had advised should be replaced for $300, was in the truck and could be replaced for $50. Furnace is in good shape and no need to replace.
Bottom line, Moore guys are dishonest and will try to up sell you!
I have been a Club Member for over a year now and I have to say I am unimpressed to say the least. Number one, I feel like they are continually overcharging and talking me in to things I don't really need. . I had a $1600 Hepa filter installed on to my furnace which I was told was going to change to air in my house, I am not convinced it is any better than the Free standing ones.
The communication between the technicians and the office people is terrible. I waited for a week before calling, after a tech came out to give a quote and was supposed to order a part, only to find out parts had not been ordered to get our heater fixed. Now, after our heater was fixed they charged us for Two thermostats and when I called them on it, I first had to argue with a receptionist before I get a manager who finally agreed to refund. Then I look on line and see what it really costs and find out they still charged three times the price, and that's the club pricing!!!! I also used Moore to get my attic completely re insulated and they outsourced to another company and there were so many miscommunications that I can't even write them all. I have added photo of the receipt they charged for the thermostat (original for two at $286) then after I called they reduced to $143. Next photo show what the same Honeywell thermostat costs

Received a call from service manager apologizing for all the mishaps and agreed to reimburse for thermostat which he said we never should have been charged for in the first place because we are a service member and it is under warranty. Also reimbursed and removed our Hepa filter.he thanked me for letting him know all the issues and said they have made changes that needed to be made. Hopefully the Yelp review helps this company get back on track! All the best

Horrible company who tries to take advantage of customers. My furnace tuneup turned into a $16k quote and then he told my mother who rents from us that the condensation leak that has only been happening for a little over a week has caused microbial growth and it's going to be $1500 to clean. We have never had a problem in 15 years with this unit and we maintain it well. Only reason why we had to find someone new was because our old reliable HVAC tech retired!
After our experience with the air conditioner, I went ahead and had Moore quote me a new furnace.
The new furnace was installed yesterday, they called me and let me know they were 10 minutes from my house and arrived about 9am and we're done around 2 pm.
After everything was completed it felt really good to hear the new furnace running and knowing our 30 year old furnace is gone and not have to call in the local guy to fix it every year.
Both Victor and Francisco we're a pleasure to have in my house and were very professional with the install.
I am really pleased with choosing Moore.
Jose and Fabio got right to the source of my plumbing problem. Great attention to detail! They were able to help me prevent the problem from coming back in the future. The project involved a drain issue with a dishwasher. I have been a club customer of Moore's for 3 years, and they have maintained my HVAC at a reasonable cost. Very satisfied with the company!

We have been using Moore Home Services to maintain our old Heat Pump for quite a few years. They helped me in prolonging the life of the Heat Pump for a few years. But lately, the compressor is running at half of its capacity, drawing a lot more energy to run and it is not safe either. so we needed to have it replaced.
Moore Home Services did the replacement recently and sent Robert Daniel and his assistant, Joseph Cano to do the replacement.
They are proffesional technicians, with devide and conquer type of attitide without compromising the quality of work, attention to detail and not at all sloppy. They thoroughly cleaned up after themselves and removed the old Heat Pump. My wife and I are very happy with the result of their work. I hope you continue to deliver the good service in the future.

Moore Home Services installed my solar panels and service panel last June. They are not currently doing solar any longer. I had a circuit go out in my house and I tripped all the breakers in the service panel and still no lights. So I called them and said since the box was put in for the new solar, they should fix it. They sent out Ira who began to investigate the problem. Long story short, he found a detached common wire in one of the outlets. This disrupted the circuit and was responsible for the circuit being out. NOTHING THEY DID HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS FAILURE. They treated me with dignity and patience and fixed it for a very reasonable fee. Much, much lower than an another electrician would have charged me. I could not be happier.

My wife and I decided to get air conditioning, an attic fan, and new insulation installed and we elected to go with Moore Solar/Heating/Cooling. Their prices were competitive with other companies and they had a great financing deal.
Our installers Robert and Rene were courteous and professional, taking the time to answer any questions I had. They were also very patient with my two dogs who wanted to investigate all of their work. In the afternoon they realized they were not going to be able to get the attic fan installed before the end of the day, so they called for additional support. A third installer, Cliff, was able to come install the attic fan while Robert and Rene buttoned up the air conditioning system.
The work is high quality and they made sure to go over all of the work they had done before cleaning up and leaving. I am very happy with their work and would absolutely recommend using their services.
We had a complicated problem with ductwork and baffles and our electrical control system. Multiple previous attempts to fix without success. Then Ira and Justin came to the rescue - with persistence and professionalism. They promised they would make it all good by end of the service and their promise was good!
Ira and Scott were the technicians that installed our whole house fan. They were on time, friendly and had excellent communication skills. Attention to detail is important to me, and Ira excelled at it. The placement of the fan intake and the control box were exactly as I wanted them. They took special care to make sure dust and debris were kept under control throughout every step of the job. Everything was buttoned up with plastic sheeting and they cleaned up to the last detail when they were finished with the job, even cleaning dirt and fingerprints off of the wall around the newly installed control box. I was really impressed with their work. The fan works great. I wouldn't hesitate to use Moore again for our HVAC needs.

Be aware!!!!!! Be warned!!!!!!! They do not even deserve 1 star.
This is the worst heating and air conditioning company you could possible do business with. They do not honor their business moto, 100% Satisfied or your money back. There ads say they only hire friendly, courteous and knowledgeable installers, is an out and out lie. The Santa Rosa branch does not come even close to that. The first of, what would be, many installers was abusive, abrasive, and destructive. He almost took a swing at me when I asked him to close the door when he went in and out. He asked my why I was so angry? Could it be, because it was 37 degrees that morning, with no heat, I didn't think I was asking too much. He turned around on me with a look in his face that made me fearful. Come to find out this was common with that technician. They are a bait and switch organization. Now we get into what we thought we had ordered and what was on our paperwork. We requested the most efficient, top of the line, system and had no problem with them being more expensive than competitors because of their adds, 100% Guaranteed Satisfaction or your money back. Not only did they not provide us with the product we asked for but the installation did not follow manufacturer specifications and as such did not pass inspection. After many more attempts to correct all the errors, we finally said take it out we want our money back. Mark Weaver, General Manager, reached out to us and offered a settlement that we agreed to and have heard nothing more. Our only option now is legal action. They are all smoke and mirrors.
Jorge and his partner were on time, professional and did their job well. They explained the new system and called me when they were finishing up so I could go home and walk through it with them. I would recommend Moore again.
I paid $344 for them to replaced the capacitor which cost probably $20-50 in amazon plus $100 for the diagnostic of my hvac.
I wish more businesses were like this. Called to have HVAC serviced on my new house, found a new problem after that initial appointment so they came back. Incredibly helpful, nice, and professional. Patiently answered my multitudes of questions. Even the people on the phone are nice and helpful. Big shout out to Chris and Steve for so throughly diagnosing my home's issue! I'm definitely going to start using them for plumbing too!!
This company has always treated us well. Recently, we tried to put the heater on and nothing happened. I called and we got an appointment for two hours later. Mike G. figured out it was the thermostat and replaced it in no time. Mike is always positive, knowledgeable, and professional. ALways a pleasure working with him.

I cannot speak highly enough about this Company. I received next day service, which I appreciated because my house was freezing without a working heater. The technicians that came out were on time, professional and knowledgeable (Jeff Gregory, Mike Lewis and Blake). Jeff fixed my heater, changed filters and went under the house to check my ducting. Mike even helped me fix a shade cover over my pond that flew off during the recent storm. Also reasonably priced with no high pressure sale tactics. Truly above and beyond. I will definitely use Moore for all of my heating and plumbing issues from now on.

Our furnace was making loud explosion noises, so we had a local furnace company come look at it. After deciding it needed to be replaced (failed heat exchanger), we had three companies come, look at it, and make recommendations. An expensive item, to be sure.&
All three agreed replacement was needed, and each provided a detailed quote, with options.
Moore sent a technician (Robert) who explained why we needed a replacement furnace, and thoroughly explained all the options. I think he also created the well detailed quotation options.
Angelia followed up with a very helpful phone call, and answered all our questions to the extent we decided to select Moore. Their products got good reviews, as did their service. Our neighbors have used them also. Moore quoted equipment appropriate to our home and their pricing was competitive. The decision was easy.
The installation was more good news. Marvin, Marcos, (and another whose name I forgot) were here three days. Their work was really top notch. No wasted time, great teamwork, and clearly experienced. Things like cuts into walls were ALL done with care and no part of the installation lacks for attention to detail. Conduit and channel runs all look great. Coverings all are fit nicely. Sheet metal fittings are well finished. They always wore shoe covers in the house, and were very polite and professional. Clean up was thorough. The final walk-through was educational and helpful.
I have read some of the reviews by unhappy people. I have to say that our experience has been entirely positive so far. I would not hesitate to recommend Moore to family or friends, or call them myself if something else came up.
I was super impressed with their professionalism and the tech Dale went above and beyond to assist us and explain everything that needed to be done!

Looks like I'm not the only one whose been experiencing a drop in service with this once exemplary company. At first the process went smoothly and we were happy with the speed of the job. The contractor ran into some minor problems which he fixed, but the fix wasn't up to code apparently. The inspector said it needed to be fixed, which is fine. BUT for the past two days now we've been waiting on them to come make the fix, with them never showing up for the appointment and after several hours calling to reschedule. Will update once we finally get some closure on this
Management took over and made sure we had things right the same day. We appreciate the quick follow up
It's been awhile since I wrote my first review but happy to see they still deliver on good old fashioned service.
Chaelo, the technician, was a complete professional and reinforced why we like working with Moore. He arrived on time, was cheerful, knowledgeable, and helpful. Didn't try to sell me on stuff I didn't need and pointed out opportunities to be more efficient. Jon Diamond should be proud to have someone like him on the team.

Bought a house in Santa Rosa and discovered it desparately needed a new furnace. Moore's came out and evaluated the furnace and offered us a number of alternatives. They installed the new furnace and did a remarkable job of minimizing the mes and cleaning up after themselves.
They were very professional and we intend to use them to service our system in the future.
We have had several interactions with Moore Heating and Air, always great service and very trustworthy techs. Our previous home they installed a new furnace on, which was great, no complaints. And in our current home we have them do the a.c. and heat tune ups every year. Today Javier came to the house and was very pleasant to work with! I appreciate his honest feedback and recommendations. We signed up for the gold member program and am looking forward to it's benefits.
I had them come out at the beginning of Covid and the individual who showed up was patient and super helpful. He wore a mask, answered all my questions, explained where our filter was in our new home and measured so we knew what size to purchase for the future. We just purchased an older home in March. We chose Moore to replace 2 furnaces, upgrade to a tankless water heater, add attic insulation, upgrade and move some gas lines, remove and replace an asbestos duct, repair our broken A/C and add solar panels! My wife Andrea is very picky and when she didn't like one thing they had done in the garage, they came right back out with a bigger crew and found a way to change it and she is very happy. We have had a lot of different contractors in our house and Moore was very clean and considerate. The gas lines in the garage look amazing and pristine. The solar power box on the side of the house was installed neatly and is pretty darn perfect. Our kids actually were sad after our 4 day install that their friends had left. We would highly recommend Moore!

Our technician Karl was amazing. Aside from being courteous and clean, he was a wealth of knowledge and explained everything clearly and patiently. Karl found some issues and areas that needed sealing, searched for an alternative filter that fit better than our previous one, replaced a bulb in our air scrubber and showed me pictures of all the before and after. Despite the heat and confining conditions of the attic space, Karl didn't rush the job and ensured all was working perfectly before leaving. Great service!
Phenomenal service from Moore's. We needed a water heater replacement and they took the time to give us detailed quotes on all of our options, without us feeling pressured at all. Once the quote was done and we opted for the standard water heater, Jose and his partner got right to work and had the whole thing done beautifully, safely, and quickly. We will be hiring Moore's again!
Cody tuned up our furnace. He was friendly, polite, thorough, on time and wore a mask. A pleasant experience.
We just had a whole new HVAC system installed in our home. These guys are awesome! Their installers Austin, and Jameson were terrific! Their work was top notch, great attitudes, and they were very accommodating to our 3.5 year old who was full of questions! They made the entire experience an enjoyable one. Taniela Hausia & Victor Ambriz installed our new heater and air conditioner unit this past week and did a FANTASTIC job!!! They really went above and beyond with cleanliness, attention to detail and Taniela explained everything to us afterwards, to make sure we are comfortable with the new system.

Moore recently installed a new furnace in my rental home. Matthew was prompt, professional and helpful in identifying my needs and working to get me the best product. There was an initial misunderstanding of the scope that was agreed upon, but after a quick phone call in was all cleared up and they met all the expectations.
Nela and Mau did a great job with the install. It presented more challenges than initially assumed but they were dedicated and professional and saw the project through.
Overall I'm happy with the service and would recommend them to others.
Syman and nella came out yesterday and installed a new AC unit for us. We were very impressed with their professionalism. They are very hard workers and they were very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. They kept us informed about everything they were doing.

Awesome work yet again by Moore HVAC. We used their service about a week ago at my girlfriends parents house and now have them at our new house. Second time we were lucky to have Ira perform the service and are very happy with the very honest, reliable and knowledgeable info given. Worked with these guys about a month ago, and they were great. They responded to us very quickly, and we were able to schedule an appointment easily. They came in masked and with shoe coverings. Ryan Lowe was super helpful, friendly, and held great conversation while working efficiently. They came to fix an issue with one of our vents and then we asked about getting new thermostats and they were able to replace ours during that same appointment. Super helpful and easy! Here's my story. December 23, 2016 I called a heating/AC technician to check my thermostat that was malfunctioning. He discovered a leek in my furnace, fixed it and said I needed a new furnace - said he'd send me quotes for a new furnace installation.
I called 3 other companies, including Moore, to compare estimates. The Moore sales representative asked me if the technician on December 23rd did a diagnostic - taking the furnace apart, testing the efficiency. I said no. He suggested I get a diagnostic before deciding to install a new furnace and called Moore and arranged the appointment for the next day.
Today, the Moore Technician, Kevin, arrived on time, thoroughly tested my furnace, replaced broken parts - including my thermostat- explained the process and said my furnace has some life left. I signed up for the annual service and Kevin will come in the spring to service my a/c which is included in my annual contract - very reasonable. Kevin was so friendly, clear, thorough, and helpful. I highly recommend Moore and my advice is ask for Kevin.

Overall a positive experience. After getting 4 other quotes for installation of central air conditioning for the first time in our home, along with replacement of the gas furnace and not feeling 100% certain about any of them, I called Moore based upon other positive reviews. They were the only firm to run an air flow test during the estimate and the only firm to go under our house to check the condition of the ducts. The rep also sat down with us to go over options for the air conditioning and the furnace rather than just saying: this is what we install. We ended up settling on a 90% efficient Day and Night furnace (and the estimator did not try to push us to the 95%) and a Day and Night AC unit and so far (5 months) so good. We also got a Honeywell wi-fi thermostat which is controllable from your phone (highly recommended!).
We ended up going with Moore even though they were three thousand dollars more than the closest other comparable estimate, but this included a new water heater (which we wanted since it was old and in the same closet) and replacement of one of the ducts under our house, which I am sure we would have been haggling about as a change order with other contractors. They were also the only one of 5 firms to tell us about the BayREN Energy Upgrade California rebate (which came out to a couple of thousand dollars), so that ended up bringing the costs closer to the others. I also liked that they did a QC/QA inspection the week following the installation to check on the completeness and quality of the work and a 4-month check up is included in the cost. They offer a no excuses guarantee that the job will be done to specs and you will pass the energy testing and the permit inspection. It took some extra work to replace other ducts under our house that were discovered with holes during the energy testing and I had to make a couple of extra phone calls than I should have to get them to meet the contract requirements at no cost and to get the work scheduled, but they took care of the problems and we passed the test and city inspection. Overall I found almost all of their crew members to be very courteous, clean and they took the time to explain what they were doing as they went along.

Had a winter service check up on my heat pump that was install on 06/2019. Excellent service tech in Michael Garrison. Gave us quit bit of information about our heat pump and how to set up the thermostat right. Michael was very knowledgeable and friendly. Covid compliant with mask, distance and foot covers. Would highly recommend Moore Service.
Chris Meydenbauer and Frank Navarrete were just great. They let me know when they would arrive. They answered all my and my wife's questions regarding our new solar power system. They never made us feel like we were bugging them. If I have any criticism about them is that they were not wearing super hero costumes. A couple of times I came out and looked at the scope and complexity of what they were doing and was just astonished. They finished the job in a timely manner and left the site cleaner than when they started. We could not be happier.

Worked with Brooks Robertson on a replacement tankless water heater installation today. No nonsense, honest, articulate and professional guy that listens and uses his time wisely. Moore is fortunate to have him on their team! Not your typical plumbing experience. A Navien tankless system replaced a decade old Noritz with a faulty $8.00 part that would have cost an arm and a leg when all was said and done. An original certified Noritz installer from Petaluma/ Sonoma CO. improperly configured the Noritz plumbing which effected long term proper servicing...yet it was approved by Sonoma CO. Permit department? Brooks walked us through the pros and cons, features, alternative and at the end of the day represented Moore very professionally. Highly recommend Brooks.
I have had a very good experience with Moore Heating. The estimator gave me a thorough explanation of what needed to be done. He explained the inspection procedure and obtained permits for the work. When the time came the tech showed me everything he took out or replaced and explained why. He took pictures of any rusted out equipment and what needed renewal. The installation was done professionally and looked great also. All of the piping and flue were level and plum. The installation was neat and clean. Troy and Victor were courteous, polite and friendly. They cleaned up every day before leaving. They also asked my each day if I had any questions and would address any concerns I had. I am very happy that I choose Moore's Heating for my furnace and duct replacement.

Moore did exactly what they said they would. System was installed at the quoted price even though we live in a 36 year old home and they encountered many obstacles. Robert and Eric where our primary install team, and they were on time, expert and easy to work with. If you have to replace an HVAC system, go with Moore.
Excellent communication throughout the process. Our tech was running early so we actually got to move up our appointment. I really appreciated the text when he was on his way, complete with a name and photo so we knew who to expect. Fixed our issue with a new Nest thermostat being compatible with our existing system, and recommended a whole-house filter to help my husband's asthma.
Being a first time home buyer is stressful. Add finding asbestos wrapped around your duct system doesn't exactly scream this is fun. Just the thought of finding a company to remove and replace everything made us anxious. When we came across Moore everything was straight forward from the get. We were able to set up an inspection that worked with me and my fiancé's chaotic work schedules. There was no run-around and that was so relieving being a first time home buyer you sometimes don't know what a normal price is.
When Troy, Tommy and John arrived to our home they were on time, friendly, professional and most importantly kind and informative. I contacted Moore due to $49 coupon for an a/c tune up. After the tech, Bryan completed the tune up, he stated my a/c unit was running at 60% capacity AND eventually would BURN OUT my capacitor which is very expensive to replace! So I asked what is the fix?...He recommended a minor rebuilt kit for $711, BUT IF I JOINED their heating and a/c club for $12.95/month, the kit would cost $649! Due to the fact I was entertaining some 80+ relatives and my 91y/o mother on Saturday, 6/2/2018 AND the heat was over 100 degrees in Healdsburg, I agreed to the installation of a new rebuilt kit! I asked the tech for the parts he replaced! Well, I was told that Moore's minor rebuild kit WAS GUARANTEED FOR THE LIFE OF MY CURRENT A/C SYSTEM!!! However, NO WRITTEN WARRANTY WAS PROVIDED!!! After numerous telephone calls to Moore, I was sent AN INVOICE, NOT A WRITTEN WARRANTY! What a joke! I had my regular a/c tech check theOLD PARTS, ALL PARTS WERE WITHIN 1-2% OF MANUFACTURERS SPECIFICATIONS!!! I contacted Moore and spoke with Jim Mannucci, the Service Manager. He immediately agreed to a full refund! HOWEVER, HOW MANY OTHER SENIOR HEALDSBURG RESIDENTS has Moore Solar, Heating, and A/C bamboozled? My father in law was bamboozled to the tune of $6,000 to $7,000. He will NEVER call Moore AGAIN!!!

I am so pleased with the service I got today on my old gas furnace, which was not working for a month. Technician Dale Wheeler got in there and took several parts of my 34-year-old furnace out and cleaned out the debris from all of them. He explained to me exactly what was going on and the steps he was taking. He did a hydro scan to make sure there were no leaks. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and excellent at communicating. We added an air conditioner unit to the existing heater we purchased in 2014 from Moore. Austen and Alex did the complex install for us. They were polite and efficient. It's 97 today and we are thrilled with the install and their service.
I called Moore after hearing about a special for servicing air conditioning units. I phoned them for an appointment and they were very helpful trying to schedule a time for me since I work 25 minutes fro home. Dale arrived on time and greeted me warmly. He proceeded to service the condenser unit. Since I am a renter, living here 9 years, I know the unit hadn't been serviced in that time so he checked everything out and told me for its age, it was working well. He had to get into the furnace compartment to check the blower and told me the furnace must be the original as it was 40 years old so he asked if he could check it out. He did find several cracks in the walls and took the time to take pictures so I could send them to my Landlord. Dale was a total professional, very thorough and explained things simply. I would recommend Moore to anyone who is looking for fair price, and thorough and professional service. Dale is a gem!!

It is always a pleasure when the Moore (red and white truck) pulls up and today it was Rama. Needed a check on the functioning of the solar system roof fan installed in May 2019, to ensure it was working. While here, they suggested the Home Reward Membership (which is a monthly fee) but goes into a savings account for needs in the future. Why didn't I do this before - is unclear but I said yes (about the amount of a gardening monthly bill). All systems assessed; (HVAC, filter - oh dear - filthy), and Air Conditioning - needs a good cleaning and adjustment - completed, Heating Filter replaced (free), batteries replaced (free), and solar roof fan will be replaced - no charge. Looking forward to seeing Rama again soon since now as a member I can identify which the I'd like to have return. Quality people, quality work. And since it's SIP and COVID - Rama took all precautions with mask, gloves, distance. Bravo Morre for a great hire & Rama for 5 Star work ethic & communication.
The air conditioner went out on the three day weekend with 90 degree weather forecasted in the next few days. I called Moore Home Services and Shianne was wonderful, setting up an appointment for the same day. Dale, the service provider, came on time. He is professional and really nice. Excellent routine maintenance apt. today. Cote, service technician, was outstanding. He was booted and masked up and respectful of me and my home. He was thorough and complete in his review and check process. I really appreciated the extra care he gave to entry/exit given my indoor only cats. Russell, the Moore technician who came to our house was courteous, thorough and respectful. We had asked for an inspection of our furnace, because it is as old as our home. Before putting it through another winter, we thought it a good idea to have an expert give it a once over. He quickly diagnosed a problem and suggested an easy fix. Unbeknownst to me, my system only required one filter. The original owner had 2 separate filters installed, one inside the house and one inside the furnace unit. This was likely causing the fan to work too hard, which is the likely cause of a secondary issue. So, he removed one of the filters and put the better one inside the furnace. In addition to the diagnosis and fix, the inspection included considerably more cleaning than I was expecting.
I only wish I would have taken photos of the unit before the cleaning, but let's just say that I was embarrassed over the sorry state that I had let the furnace get to. But now it looks great. All the ash-like condensate debris that had fallen from the flue over the years were vacuumed and dusted.
I'll conclude by saying that this inspection has given me some peace of mind. I know that my furnace is past its prime, but between the cleaning and the filter reduction, I feel like he did everything possible to give this furnace a good chance of lasting a few more years.

I called yesterday to request someone come to repair my water heater, the first thing this morning the cheery and polite plumber, Russell Nordquist, arrived! An hour after cleaning filter etc, the water heater was working. He thoroughly cleaned up the work area upon completion. Once again, I'm very pleased with Moore Home Services!
The work they did was ok, but the customer service is horrible. We called multiple times to get a quote for some insulation replacement and was told we would get called back multiple times and they never called back. Just called to try to schedule an appointment for a tune-up I had purchased and they refused to come and perform it without an additional charge. I guess once again they don't want our business...

I'm the type of person who needs to interact with the workers who are going to do something that will help our home. After 25 years in our home, we decided to install AC, and asked Moore Home Services to do the work.
Wow, is just one word I will say. These guys were AMAZING. By name, these guys are Excellent.
Shout out to Oscar, the lead technician, who has so many skills. AND, he's professional. He not only instructed his team, he LEAD his team, even on the hard stuff.
Big Shout Outs to Garrett, and Eddie (Eduardo).
These young guys were very very impressive with their work ethic. They didn't just stand around. When there was something to be done, they were on it. Garrett took care of installing the AC unit, and did it down to the very detail.
Eddie was amazing in his skill, and demeanor. So easy to talk to and watch.
All in all, these guys are top notch. I would no hesitate to ask them back for work anytime.

I had originally posted a negative review because I had tried calling Moore 5 times this the morning, and could not get through. Within an hour of posting the negative review, the general manager called me and fixed a scheduling issue. He explained they were having telephone connection issues and apologized profusely. My faith is restored. We have used Moore for several years and they have always been good. They are friendly, competent, knowledgeable and thorough. We even had them install a new heating and air conditioning system a few years ago, which continues to work well with annual tuneups, also from Moore.
Robert and Austin, Moore technicians, spent the last two days at our home installing a new heater system. They did a great job. We finally have heat again! These two young men are stars. They are polite and extremely good at what they do. They left our property spotless. Most of all they really enjoy their work and have pride in what they do.

We had a mixup at the start and it turned out the work I needed is not what they do. To their credit (hence the rating), the GM called me and apologized, listened to my understanding of what happened and offered compensation. I've updated this review not because I was offered compensation, but because of their attentiveness and professionalism in working with me.
Im giving a new review b/c I just had JR from Moores out today.
Last week on a Thurs before Memorial wknd my furnace stopped working. It came on & made noises but no hot air was blowing out. On top of that last Thursdays high for the weather was 62 & I get cold easily. I was miserable & uncomfortable, plus my washing machine died & my dog had to go to the vet so I Was pretty broke & in no mood to haggle with HVAC co's,. I Called around & even sent Yelp msgs to every possible tech on here but no one could come. I ultimately chose Moores again (even after my last review which was I think 3-4 stars) b/c they had been to my house already, already had info re my furnace & werent completely insane as far as cost to come diagnose (I had other techs quoting upwards of almost $200, Moores quoted $79 & then let me know they had coupons on their website. I found a coupon for $20, yes $20 on their website. I actually didnt think theyd just come out for $20 & figured Id have to haggle & deal with a hard sell for a new furnace but I was pleasantly surprised that was not the case. JR did give recommendations to consider but I felt he was genuinely interested in helping me & I will def call Moores when the time comes for further work. JR also fixed the problem while explaining what was wrong & yes it was only $20. I tried to offer him bottled water & Hersheys chocolate as tokens of my gratitude which he declined so here I am on Yelp instead. THANK YOU!

Great experience with Moore... very easy to setup a furnace inspection - great customer service... Matthew (technician) was super friendly, thorough and knowledgeable- will definitely contact Moore to replace our aging furnace when it finally decides to stop functioning altogether...
They sabotage my heater so wouldn't work then told me I needed to buy a new one then told me to join there club for 120 bucks!! Some guy that said he used to work for a tire store he took off the wire to my igniter so it wouldn't work and then told me I needed a new heater I had PG&E come out here for free and fixed what he did wrong
. Total scam total rip-off do not use these people ever.
Just had Karl come and do the tune up of my air conditioner and furnace, and what a sweet guy! He gave me many recommendations on how to keep my equipment running smoothly, what filters are better for my furnace vents, as well as not making me feel like an idiot when I didn't understand something. I don't know about you, but so many times when I have service repair guys come out and fix or tune up something, they make me feel like I'm just some dummy...but not the guys at Moore, especially Karl. Karl also always wore little bootie covers on his feet to ensure that he didn't drag any dirt/debris into my home, even when I insisted it wasn't necessary.
I can't say enough about this company's service. We had a rat issue and had to pull out all out attic insulation last fall. They were great with the process of getting it replaced. Josh also turned me on to an air scrubber which has really decreased the dust in our house. With reactive airways it has been a godsend with smoke as well. During the recent heat we noticed our bedroom was not cooling. We called and they came and resolved the problem at no charge as it was related to the insulation project. While he was here both times Karl asked if we needed help with anything else. He fixed my front door that has been sticking for a month! This was beyond the call of duty. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any of their services. They are prompt, notify you when they will arrive and are neat and friendly.

Mikey and Derek came out to our residence to remove, replace and upgrade our furnace and air conditioning unit. It was a two day job. Not only were they punctual, they called each day prior to their arrival, to let us know what time they would be here. Polite, professional and made time for any/all questions. I wanted to get a centralized AC unit installed in my top floor condo . The process of getting a quote from various vendors itself was tedious in terms of co-ordination. Initially Moore gave me a quote of 11K, but after getting a quote of 8.5K from competitors, Moore was ready to match. I read good reviews about Moore HVAC, so wanted to go with them but this fluctuation in price is my only negative for them. They could have been straight forward in giving me the correct quote rather than the bargaining.
Last week, Moore helped with installation of centralized AC unit in my condo. Robert Wolf and Juan Franco were the installation guys. They were really good in keeping me abreast with the progress and things to be done. During the installation we had an accidental damage to my ceiling which Robert and Juan co-ordinated with Moore's contractor and got it fixed (yet to finish coloring). Robert and Juan are really pro at their work and made me happy about AC installation. They were on top of their game, they either answered all my questions or got the answers from their superiors. They made sure they get all the required help from Moore to make my AC unit installation smooth.
I would rate the service 5/5 because of the work done my Robert and Juan.
Marvin and Symond did a fantastic job putting a new furnace and AC unit in my home. They stayed late to complete the job in one day and were exceptionally professional and pleasant. They worked around a bunch of other contractors with no problems. All in all it was a great experience. Second time using Moore and I would use them again.

I had Moore Home Services out to our house today to help inspect and fix an issue with our air conditioning unit. We've been sweating it out in the heat for several days, so our hopes were high that we'd get a respite.
The technician Moore sent, Dale Wheeler, was prompt (arrived at the start of the two-hour window), professional, and courteous. Within just a few minutes, Dale was able to diagnose the problem and recommend a solution. Not long after, our AC unit was back up and running properly, and our house cooled down.
Beyond the effective service, Dale took the time to help me understand the nature of the problem and quite a bit about AC units/functionality, in general. That will be very useful when it comes time to purchase a new unit. Overall, I'm a much more informed homeowner now that I'm armed with more knowledge.
I would definitely recommend Moore Home Services (who we've used for years) to others and will call them back if/when we need help with our HVAC system. Ask for Dale Wheeler, if you can... you'll be in good hands!

Owner called me and wanted to resolve issue of basically price gouging (300% mark up on parts) and told him I would take down the review if he gave a discount to a vulnerable class (veteran, elderly, family in need). He said he would and give me a call back. Never heard from him since; just crickets is what I hear.
The manager Derrick called me today regarding my review. He indicated back in January he gave a discount to a veteran so kudos to Moore for giving a veteran a brake. Personally, I think this would be a great business practice for Moore/McDonald to incorporate. They have very nice people who are kind and polite but marking up a part by 300% is just wrong.
First time user today and I was really impressed. In a world of deteriorating customer service, Josh greeted me on my driveway and asked to help carry my groceries!
Josh very quickly diagnosed our problem, took the time to educate me on the why and efficiently fixed out situation.
I really appreciated the quick resolution and we will keep their number ready for future problems!

My husband contacted Moore Heating to inspect our furnace in Napa, which was not heating properly. Jason Grant was the technician, who did an excellent job, and found it was the original furnace in our house, which we had purchased five years earlier. We ultimately decided to replace the furnace. Rich and Austen were the technicians who installed the new furnace, and were very professional and did an excellent job.
We would recommend Moore Home Services for diagnostics, repair or installation of a furnace.
My initial experience was rocky as there were difficulties with scheduling the appointment. However the general manager contacted me and got everything resolved. The tech was highly experienced and super friendly. I really appreciated how kind he was with my new puppy who barked his head off through the visit. Had major problems with Henry Mechanical who was the original installer of my system. They came out and took things apart and couldn't figure out it was damper motor, 2 hrs and $300 dollars later my system still was not working. Called Moore, Brad came out and found that Henrys had left damper motor in pieces in attic. He had everything trouble shot in no time, ordered parts and had system up and running in 2 visits. Brad did excellent work!! Long story short, avoid Henry Mechanical at all costs. Go with Moore. Will be using them to replace a 3rd damper motor soon.
I've been happy with the annual maintenance services I received from Moore since we acquired a cooling and heating system from them about three years ago. All their technicians have been courteous and thorough especially Carl Schmidt. Carl spent more time than others checking and cleaning the system. He took time explaining what we need to do to better maintain the system and put everything back in place. He's absolutely the best and deserves an award. I hope Moore's owners will reward him for the excellent services he's been providing to their customers.
Needed an inspection of our older model heating unit so had Moore come out to check it out. Sean, the technician, was professional, knowledgeable and extremely thorough. (Turns out we had an air conditioning unit that we didn't even know about!) Sean was personable and did not try to up-sell us on things we didn't need--honestly and integrity are important to me so I would definitely recommend this company and will use them in the future.

I used Moore's for the last time due to a prepaid contract service agreement. Technician late. Got the usual hard sell/upsell. The usual you need a new capacitor routine. He wanted $278 to literally plug in a part that I found online retail for $20.00. I wouldn't let him look in my attic after that to inspect ducts, I know they are fine. I don't trust them to inspect for fear of sabotage at this point. The manager calls and hounds you when you write a bad review so please--Do No Call Me.
I don't know how they get the good reviews or if they are verified. Their prices are outrageous. They give away inspections to sell customers things they probably don't need at outrageous prices. The last time they told me something was on it's way out was a two years ago and it is still doing fine. The next technician found nothing wrong.

I found out about Moore Solar/Heating/Cooling while walking in Home Depot. At first I past the representative by not thinking much and then for the price point $98.00 I thought why not. Well, it has been truly one of the best decisions I made. The Office Team is great answers your calls, returns the calls, checks up to make sure the service is on time and what I wanted. I had Nick come out to the house and review both of my Air Conditioning Units where he took me through each of the inspection points. A solid straight forward conversation with both of us feeling there was a partnership. After feeling this was the company I had been looking for I signed up for a yearly contract. My home and its systems are extremely important to keep updated as they provide me and my family the safety we need should anything go wrong. After signing up for the yearly service I decided to move forward with an Attack fan, two Honeywell Wi-Fi Thermostats and replacement of two parts for the Air Conditioning units. Lastly, I wanted to have both units inspected something the previous contractor who I now realize just took my money did not. Nick an absolute honor to work with and his associate whose name I failed to document both were extremely professional and are a credit to the company. I hope Nick stays with Moore's so we can see him back in our home next year. More service to come as there are still things to fix.

Our technician Nick was so knowledgeable, professional and nice. He provided us with a very thorough heating inspection and worked as quietly as possible trying not wake our sleeping babe, and even tip-toed through the house. What would make me consisder a membership is knowing that we would be working every time with this guy! Would definitely use their services again.
I will mention that they did have to bump our appointment out a week due to how busy they were (winter time!), but no real big deal. If that would be an issue for you, a membership might be the way to go for you would get priority.

Easily the best company I have ever done business with from an HVAC perspective. The impeccable level of service I receive from my technician, Chaelo, makes us feel like nothing short of family. I now insist that he be the technician assigned to my account for all purposes. After several negative experiences with other local companies, I am so happy to have found Moore. While I would gladly pay a higher price for my system, parts and service, luckily I don't have to. A few months back I had them redo my entire HVAC system and I watched in joyous awe as my PG&E bill went from about $700.00 a month down to $300.00 with my new system. Being a part of their maintenance plan is also very helpful in that they come to check my system twice a year to make sure it is working perfectly and to protect my warranty. I could not be happier with my system and the service I receive!
We had significant damage from the fires requiring a new furnace and air conditioner and new ducting. Farmers insurance only paid for a quarter of the cost so Josh was able to help negotiate a reasonable price. Zac and Drake were completely professional, knowledgeable and efficient even after 5 days on the job! They used drop clothes and kept the mess to a minimum. I was not able to be at home the entire time they were in the house, gotta work! We are pleased to have air conditioning in our home now!!!

First time user. Had a good experience with Moore HVAC. Our technician Chris Ferry was quick to the issue and discovered our heater problems quickly. He was very knowledgable in providing information to the how's and why's HVAC units fail which was comforting to know Moore has people on staff that can do more than turn a screw.
I was also pleased to hear their service area was so large.

Had AC installed on an Eichler that never had AC before last Friday and it turned out perfect. I was a bit nervous to use the company initially as they did a previous electrical panel install that did not turn out ideal mostly in terms of finishing work. I took the gamble and went with their AC service and Austin and his partner were detail orientated, professional, answered all of our questions and were very courteous. I will recommend them for future AC work.
I have used Moore twice so far based on a recommendation I received through a friend. Both times the service was excellent and efficient. Brad N. arrived and finished the work I needed on my dryer vents right within in the promised window today. He also thoroughly explained the work he had done.
The only small glitch was that they did reschedule my appointment because of AC units needing service during one of the heat waves in June. However, they were very considerate when requesting this rescheduling and explained that they wanted to make sure that the AC customer needs were met first because of health concerns.
UPDATED 6/2016: Company appears to be experiencing some backoffice transitions that are interfering with customer experience. Never contacted me as promised to schedule follow-up maintenance, and when I called they basically said field techs and in-office don't always communicate as promised. In addition, they are behind on billing and couldn't quickly and efficiently pull up my account when I called.
So my parents heater kept going on and off. I called to get an appointment asap. David C. showed up on time and was awesome! His first words when seeing the heater were, WOW...this is antique and of course we both laughed. He took his time to find out what was wrong. He diagnosed the problem, gave us the price to get it fixed, and left. But left only after telling us to talk about it (my dad wasn't home at the time) and then call back if we decided to get it fixed...no pressure at all!!! Now that's what I call customer service. He also offered what it would cost to get the club price. Awesome, outstanding, excellent service by David Caron...call and ask for him!

Our heater went out on us last week on a Monday. We called Moore Home Services, had a service adjuster (josh) come out gave us quote, actually lower than we though! And on Wednesday they started the work! We had four WONDERFUL young men install forced air heating (we had a very old floor heater!). They said it would take about four days and they knocked it out in three! They were on time, extremely polite and very intune with what's going on and had their face masks on the whole time. They put tarps down to protect our flooring and left every day with everything cleaned up and neat! I cannot thank these wonderful young men enough! We now have four new friends and a wonderful Heating and service company we can trust.......PS. They even repaired a crack in my stucco wall that had been there forever! Thanks Moore Home Services! We were in dying need for a cooling solution before the height of summer. We needed someone that was quick, qualified, and affordable.
We quickly got a consultation and a service date set. Edgar, Adolfo, Victor, and Marvin showed up and completed a 2-day project in about 6 hours. They were professional, friendly, and receptive to questions.

Had a fantastic experience after choosing Moore.
Our home air conditioning system went out last week & the Monday weather said it was going to be 94°. Yikes!
Needless to say, Monday was miserable for our family, especially the 2 month old. The only other time the house had been that hot was after having been gone for a couple weeks.
On Tuesday, I was able to get an appointment with Moore Heating & Air Conditioning, what a life saver after sweating it out!
I received a call from Moore saying that my technician was on his way & coming from Healdsburg. Jason met me at the door, shook my hand and asked what the problem was.
After some explaining, Jason quickly evaluated our system. He politely expressed that our system was dated, using a lot of juice to start, and had melted the disconnect box. Oh boy.
Jason advised me to replace the box and add a hard start kit to avoid this problem in the future. I felt no pressure and Jason quoted me 2 prices, one for adding the kit and one for not. Obviously the latter price was cheaper, but felt I wasn't getting taken advantage of & was receiving honest, sound advice.
Jason was considerate of my home as well as my budget and that was much appreciated, will be glad to use his services in the future.
We had Moore Home services do a re-routing of the ductwork in our home to eliminate a lot of boxing/soffits. The job was anticipated to take 2 days. From the estimate from Nick to the team doing the work, it was a pleasure to work with this company and their employees. Robert, the foreman, is professional, has such a positive attitude and went above a beyond. His team of Austin and Neillo also did a terrific job of ensuring everything was done without a hitch. The project was completed on time and on estimated cost. No surprises. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Moore Home services, and the team that worked here for future projects.
Robert and Austin did a great job installing a new heater into our Sea Ranch home. The clearance for access was challenging, and they completed the job with grace, efficiency and courtesy. (They even returned 15 minutes after departure thinking they had to re-light the pilot for the water heater.) Technical knowledge was clearly top-notch. Not the most inexpensive, but value-priced for sure. We highly recommend Moore Home Services.
Their service is great and Bianca was awesome. She's come out to our rental a couple times to fix the air conditioner (on the hottest day of the year) and now the heater (on the coldest week we've had this year). She's professional, knowledgeable, honest and very helpful. She got us some space heaters while ordering parts so our tenants don't freeze. We are very impressed with her knowledge and hard work. I would recommend her and Moore to anyone needing service or purchase of a new unit.
A few weeks ago Chris came to fix our ancient heating and air conditioning unit and despite never having seen my particular system before and was obviously very experienced. He was very respectful and professional and actually managed to fix the unit. Thanks Chris! Would definitely recommend these guys.
David was our tech for this job. He first checked our equipment out then made a call to our Landlady for approval. He made it chill in 45 minutes and was color coordinated while doing the work. Very professional
An extra star for the owner's kind response to my review. It didn't keep me cool on Sunday or Monday, but I appreciate the attention. I hope the weekend staff are given better training as a result of my experience.

I contacted Moore because I needed a second opinion. The first local HVAC contractor (with whom I had done business for years) during a routine service inspection told me that he had found cracks in more than one of our heat exchangers (you may want to read about this issue online). He pointed to what he said was evidence of a crack, but I had difficulty seeing the crack. He then told me that he was required to condemn my furnace and he shut it off after he put it back together. He gave me a quote for a new furnace. He took no pictures of the cracks with his phone, so there was no visual evidence to refer to. The technician from Moore did an inspection for $49 (it takes about an hour) and showed me that there was no sign of cracks on any of the four heat exchangers. He did not bad-mouth the other contractor specifically but told me he had heard similar stories before. I applaud Joshua for his integrity and I will use Moore for all our future HVAC work.
Just had a tune-up on my 5 year old furnace, and David the tech, performed a detailed and thorough job. We purchased a discount service when we stopped by Home Depot last week, and we are very happy with the price and Moore's service!
Our unit is shut off for the summer season, but know soon we'll turn it on and it will be in great working condition. We'll continue to rely on Moore for servicing the unit.

Jonathan was the technician this time, he was fantastic on my first follow-up inspection. Made a couple very reasonable light recommendations on stuff to do but made clear it wasn't urgent and didn't care that I decided not to go that route.
I love the amount of detail they give in their report, and he even showed me normal and infrared camera shots of all the ducting in the attic area and the furnace.

I called Moore after my AC unit died in the middle of a heatwave this summer after a friend's recommendation. Took a few weeks to get an appointment. I've always thought if a business is that busy, maybe it's time to expand?
Technician was a very nice guy - a little new I think, took a while to diagnose the issue and was on the phone a while. I was expecting the worst due to builder-grade components and install in a 5-year old house, but it was just a capacitor. Price seemed high, but I don't have an easy way to look at what your average person could get the part for, to see what sort of % they're tacking on to parts.
Not a big fan of monthly costs, but after hearing about replacement systems being $10-15k+, and a little freaked by my system dying, I decided to go with their monthly payment plan where you get 2 'free' inspections a year and a discount on parts. I'm not sure I'll stick with their plan since I hate monthly costs but I plan to look at the results of the inspections for the next couple years and see if much is changing or degrading. One thing they do a very good job of is providing you with an inspection report that actually has some detailed information including the exact numbers of measurables. A lot better than just saying 'everything's OK!'
Jose, Rich and Brian did a great job on the installation of the new furnace and removal of the old junk. They planned on a day and a half installation time but worked two full days in getting the job done. They had to redo everything that the previous company did eleven years ago when they installed a cruddy system not to code. These guys did everything right, were always cheerful and worked throughout the day without complaint. I would definitely recommend this company.

My wife Pam and I purchased our home in RP in 1983 where we raised our family, four daughters. When we purchased our home the only heat it had was two wall furnaces that left you seeing your breath on cold winter mornings. So because I was in the trades plumber and had many friends in the trades i installed a wood stove and with the help from my heating tradesmen friends we designed a Heat distribution system which included two 10 inline fans that would distribute the heat evenly throughout the house. Long story short we have been purchasing, stacking cords of wood for way to long.
We finally decided to look into forced air heating system. Moore Solar & Heating came highly recommended by my good friend Daniel so we made the call. Their response was quick and professional. Bianca came by and walked us through an estimate and all it in-tailed. We qualified for financing and we were on our way. Our installers were two excellent professional workers named Edgar and Victor, we found them to be of the highest quality installers and professionals. They kept us informed throughout the installation answering any and all of our questions and concerns. The installation took three days to complete, of one those days they had to cal out their supervisor Pancho who confirmed the ceiling material did not contain asbestos. Our electrical panel was outdated and also had to be replaced so enter Chris Moore's electrical professional to replace panel. We were satisfied with the entire experience, the personal the quality workmanship and the communication the job required. I would highly recommend Moore Solar & Heating to anyone looking to install new or upgrade their current system.

I was referred to this company because I was a prior customer of Thomason Mechanical & Design. Tom was wonderful to work with at our previous home, so Moore was our very first call to get estimates. Between Tom's prior work, and all of the positive reviews, I figured we had the right business for our job. Unfortunately, I was very surprised by the rude customer service from the very first phone call. The person who took my call was extremely unhelpful, inconsiderate and downright rude. She was dismissive and insinuated that I was acting illegally by requesting a simple job estimate. I will be taking our business elsewhere and will make sure to let others know what a poor experience I had.

I need to replace two furnaces and all ducts associated with these furnaces in my house. It is a big job. I have gotten about formal 5-6 estimates including Moore and a few verbal estimates. From day one, when Jason came out to estimate the project, I felt they are very professional, patient and courteous. Jason is very knowledgeable and explained in detail of every options and every step. He listen to my concerns and work out within my budget. He responded my questions promptly he is 5 star project manager! The price was not cheapest, but service and workmanship are superior. Valuewise I think they are the best. I am impressed with all people, there were at least 10 people, I have direct contacted. Every one of them were very professional and courteous. After the work was done, they had internal QA came over twice and went through external standard check to make sure project was done right.
I highly recommend this company and Jason. If you want your project done right, this is the company!
We have received good service from this company. A suggestion for this company--when your repair people take photographs--no matter how obvious the reason- they should ask permission from the homeowner and explain the need to have any part of their home photographed. (Even if it is just the heater or areas surrounding the heater/air conditioner units). I noticed this because there were multiple photographs being taken and it made me uncomfortable. It took me a while to realize what had bothered me about the visit-an explanation was all that was needed-along with permission. Otherwise, this company has given good service and has honored the contract and service agreements.

Fantastic company from top to bottom. We had an old furnace system replaced, including duct work and new insulation. Moore was timely, clean and informative on each and every step they were taking. We could not have asked for a better team to come out and do this job. Plus, they came in considerably lower than other estimates from some of those huge multi-state companies. We were happy to keep our money with a local firm, especially one with such efficient, professional AND NICE people. Not to mention the max in re-bates which they assisted us in getting!
Love, love, love the service we received from Moore Home Services today. Nela (Tanie Hausia) installed a new heater for us today. Because our home is almost 100 years old it can be difficult to install new items or make repairs, so we are especially thankful for how patient Nela was at troubleshooting little problems here and there. Honestly, the service could not have been better. Nela was very respectful and careful with our property, and our heater and air conditioning are functioning perfectly. In March, 2017 we had a 6KW solar system, plus a new hybrid heat pump/AC/natural gas system, and new ducting, floor insulation and electric upgrade installed in our late 1950's country ranch home near Sebastopol. I have to say from the very beginning every Moore HVAC employee we worked with was exceptional in their courtesy, understanding and customer service. Corina, sales/design, took the time to understand our needs and designed the right system for us, including a switch from fully natural gas heating to a heat pump; Wade supervised much of the project and worked with us to place a ground mount solar system in the yard that captured the best sunlight but also placed in a way that protected our gardening area; Dayton and his crew built the solar system meticulously, and listened courteously to any of our million concerns; and Rich and his crew worked hard in tight places to install the HVAC, including new ducting, heat pump, furnace and floor insulation. The whole Moore crew, who spent 2 weeks on our project, worked around our home business operations and meetings and always gave us advance notice of morning arrivals or other changes. Meanwhile, the Moore's office personnel, particularly Kirk and Corrie were equally kind and always returned calls with the information we needed.
I've waited to comment on the project, partly because of its complexity and partly because I needed to be certain the system would perform as we hoped. We used the new AC unit a couple of times last summer and it worked as expected. The heating system wasn't needed until this past November, and when we began using it we noticed some rooms were warmer than others and there was substantial noise coming from the air return. Wade, JR, and other Moore folk came right out and assessed the issues and remedied all of our concerns and we're totally stoked with the entire system now. Our PG&E bills have been running about $15/mo. And we produce all the electricity, except when temperatures drop below 40° when the back-up natural gas kicks in for a while.
We have to say that Moore's pledge of 100% Satisfaction or 100% Free is a serious commitment to their customers and they walk the walk. At this point in our 8 month old system, we're 100% satisfied. I have all the confidence in the world that they will always stand behind their work. Moore is a class organization with employees who are loyal and love their company. That really says it all!

I have been using Moore Heating and Air, for sometime now, I first called them out with a furnace problem, I think the second time they came out I bought there packet that is 12.95 a month I get them 2 times a year once for the heater and the 2nd one to check the air. I have never had any problems with them, they are on time, and very friendly and clean. This last man I just had Tuesday was Chaelo and he was fantastic showing me what was wrong and what I might need to fix in the future, changed my filter cleaned it up so good I can actually see the filter through the grates. LOL I just love this company and it's employees.

Great customer service. Have to highly recommend both Sean and Brian who have been by to inspect.
We've gotten the run around from another North Bay HVAC company. Used them for bi annual service but every visit ended with a report intended to scare us into spending more $$$. The last visit from the unmentioned company ended up with a recommendation for a new heater and air conditioner and the comment I could really shut you down.'
Lucky we decided to call Moore. Scheduling and dispatch were easy to work with and everyone showed up on time.
Brian came out and went through the system with us and recommended we schedule a service check which we set up.
Sean came out and went through the whole system. Explained what needed to be done and gave estimated costs. Everything was clear and made sense.
Both Brian and Sean inspired trust and confidence and we'll work with them in the future for service and repairs.
What a relief!!
Moore recently replaced our ancient furnace and deteriorating duct work and installed a 2-zone system in our home. The project was a little complicated, but I felt confident they could do the best job of the companies I interviewed. They did not disappoint. The lead manager, Robert, was thorough, polite, knowledgeable and considerate. He kept me informed of progress each day and what to expect next. All staff I spoke with on the phone and met with throughout the project were very professional and helpful. Pricing wasn't the lowest, but reasonable relative to other bids I received. I would definitely recommend them for HVAC work.

I feel that with both Victoria and Jason are a valuable asset to Moore Heating and Air Conditioning and I believe combined they will be very successful in Sonoma County.

When I called they did not have an appt time that fitted my schedule so I was able to schedule an appt the next day. Fortunately there was a cancellation the same day that I had called and Sean arrived within the window time frame that Ruby had scheduled.for me. Sean listened to my issue and was able to diagnose my issue. He was attentive and very professional. He also went out of his way to help me get my ac unit running until my power went out which was PG&E fault. From the beginning of my call to the end of the service, I was completely satisfied with their customer service and quality of work. I highly would use them again.

Moore just installed a new compressor and ductwork at our home, and did a very competent, thorough job in every aspect of their work. Oscar and Tong provided excellent service, and I was especially pleased that they kept us informed of their progress and asked us questions along the way. So far we've seen significantly greater airflow on the second floor of the house, and both heating and air conditioning are working very well.

We recently had Moore Home Services out to inspect our furnace and a/c system for the home we just purchased. Dave Wheeler was the technician who arrived right on time and performed the work. He was polite, professional and incredibly knowledgeable, providing helpful insight into the issues our HVAC system had. He explained all the work he was doing and taught me the inner workings of our system that I had no knowledge of. He discovered that we needed to replace our ducting in our crawlspace. He called his co-worker Joshua who promptly came to the property and provided a detailed estimate. The pricing was more than fair and we were able to get on the schedule that week. Tyson and Symond showed up right at 8:00am on the install date. We had to head out of town so we left them to do their work. When everything was completed they gave us a call letting us know they were finished, sent an email with extensive details of the work performed and left the house spotless. I cannot recommend Moore Home Services enough. They made everything stress free and everyone we worked with functioned with the utmost professionalism. Thank you!
I shopped around when our air conditioner went out. The Moore staff were very professional and helpful. They had a hard time tracking down the problem, but kept at it over three visits. Finally found a solution which saved a huge amount of expense. They are my go to company from now on.
Marvin and Mark worked as a very professional team. They came to my home to install a new heating system. They were very thoughtful of any concerns I might have. They answered my questions in a very kind manor and didn't make me feel like any of my questions no matter how small were unimportant to them. Fine employees like these two young men make it a much nicer experience and I think they should be commended on their hard work. They are the kind of employees that make Moore Home Services worth calling.

Great experience with Chris in Sales. I cannot say enough about the excellent work done by Taniela and Victor to install new furnace. My husband, who is very fussy and particular how things are installed, was thrilled by how thoughtfully and carefully they installed and hooked up the unit. Taniela and Victor were very respectful of being in my home and left the garage in perfect order. We feel lucky to have gotten such great installers for our job. Highly recommend
What a great company. We've worked with them three times in the last year - twice to replace our furnace and hot water heater, and just now to check out our malfunctioning AC. In all cases, these guys were prompt, courteous, great with our dogs, and most importantly, were able to quickly and efficiently diagnose problems and communicate effectively. This last time, they came back to troubleshoot and were able to get us up and running quickly - they had originally connected one of the wires to an inactive terminal in our thermostat - but it took less than a half hour for the tech, Rich, to realize what had happened. He fixed it up (no charge, of course) and it's running perfectly. What I most appreciated was the care he had for our house, our pets and our comfort. Although our AC unit was old and admittedly past it's prime, there was no hard sell or pushiness for any sort of replacement! I really felt like Rich, and the company, has our best interests at heart. Thanks Moore!

After my initial one star posting I was quickly contacted by a rep from their offices. He was very concerned about my experience and wanted to speak to me about it.
We did speak on Tuesday and he assured me that they spend 6 figures on training their staff annually and have no intention of conducting their business any other way but ethically especially since they are a local company.
He further assured me that on any high dollar jobs they will now be sending a second set of eyes to make sure that the job is correctly identified and whatever work is performed is necessary.
He offered to refund the money that I had spent to have the other HVAC guy come out and find nothing wrong, I declined his offer this was not about the money and I do not want anyone to think that would change my opinion.
I hope that this was just human error, certainly their call to me went a long way to improve my overall opinion of their company. I can't say they are A-OK with 3 stars but I hope that there are no future experiences like mine.

The very afternoon of my original review, I was contacted by the Service Manager, Jim. Later that very afternoon we were visited by both Jim and Barry and they patiently listened to our concerns. It was explained to us that because of the location of the air return and unit, we would probably not get the cooling results we originally were hoping for. We discussed multiple options, including moving the entire HVAC system to the attic at a cost that we just aren't prepared to undertake at this time. They did, however, come out and install dampers on the trunk lines and that has provided some additional air flow to the second story at no additional cost to us.
Overall, I am happy with the follow up and their willingness listen and respond. Aside from my earlier concerns, my only dissatisfaction is that the person who sold us this equipment should have been more forthcoming with accurate information to manage our expectations.

They pour on the charm and loads of impressive written guarantees to get the sale, but if you're getting that lingering suspicious feeling, there's a good reason. Moore must be the most expensive company in the business, their bid was almost twice as much for the same product as others. Do your self a huge favor and get bids and prove it to yourself. I was just about to fall for the TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE money back guarantee, then got two other bids and saved myself THOUSANDS.
Just moved back to Santa Rosa from Palm Springs and needed maintenance on my air conditioning system. I couldn't be happier with the service provided by JP. Much of the work needed had to be done under the house where JP spent most of the day. After a lot of hard, messy work, he then spent a good deal of time cleaning the dust and debris in the floor registers. Great job/service -- and cheerful all the while.
Also want to mention Sean who first came to give estimate. A very kind and cheerful man. What a team.
Will only use this company in the future. Service like the old days.

I took advantage of the $19 special at the Marin Home Show. Craig C. came out and did a thorough cleaning and inspection of my heating system for me. He was very professional and told me a couple of things to watch out for in the future. He also looked under my house and noticed my hodge-podge of different ducting systems and suggested I have someone else from Moore come out and give me a quote to replace with newer, insulated ducting and explain some type of finance plan. This was all done without any high pressure sales tactics to try and get me to buy more. I will try to remember to update this post once I have the ducts inspected but at this point, I would definitely use Moore HVAC again!

We called on a Sunday for a Monday morning appointment when our furnace blower stopped working. Our phone call was returned promptly and an appointment scheduled for 8 am the next day. Dale arrived on time and evaluated the problem. Even though our furnace was 38 years old there was no hard sell for a new one, even though we had arrived at the conclusion on our own that it was probably time. Barry arrived to give us a quote on the new furnace along with the option of repairing the blower on the old one. Both Dale and Barry were very knowledgeable and, we feel, provided good recommendations.
Dale was able to get the blower working adequately until our appointment on Thursday for the installation. Richie and Mike did the install and again we were impressed with the professionalism of the crew. They are, by far, the neatest and most considerate trades people I have had work on my home. Shoe covers were taken on and off every time they came in or out of the house to protect the floors. Drop cloths were also used and they left the work site spotless when the work was completed. We are very happy with the new furnace and would use Moore again in the future.
A follow up from my last review regarding Moore Solar/Heating/Cooling. Yesterday Ryan Z from Moore came out with Dale from an independent company to test my new system and again I was very happy with my service. Both boys were extremely polite and knowledgable. Our furnace at the office decided to work randomly during the cold spell we had in December.
The gentleman who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful and gave me a two hour window for technician arrival.
The technician called and confirmed the exact time he would arrive and then he arrived when he said he would. He dutifully listened to my description of the heater's behavior and then quickly diagnosed the problem. He provided us repair options so we could decide how much to repair and how much to spend.
When he left, we were toasty and warm and it has worked perfectly since.

From start to finish Moore is one of the best run companies we have ever dealt with. They make their appointment with you, call the day before and the day of, and they are on time. My husband and I are a bit type A personalities, a bit perfectionists. Everyone from Moore, or connected with the Moore Company, have been extremely proficient in the work they did. We had asbestos ducts removed by one company, another company blew in additional insulation into the attic, and a third company came out to pressure test all of the new ducts that Moore had installed. Moore obviously only works with the best people as each of the technicians who came from these companies to perform their perspective jobs were the best! One thing you need to know about how Moore does business is that the price they quote to you to install heating and or air conditioning is the price you will pay. Our technicians had to do reconstruction on our furnace closet. The opening was about 1/4 too small for the new unit so they had to basically tear out and rebuild the framing of the door, which also meant re trimming the outside casing of the door. This was all done at no extra cost to us. In our past review of Moore, we highly praised our two technicians, Dayton and Eric. But we would now like to praise the work of our final technician, Marcelus. It turned out we needed a vent in our laundry room where our water heater is. Marcelus came out, crawled into our attic and installed a vent that led outside. Like everyone who came into our home, Marcelus was so nice and respectful of our home. And just like the furnace closet, there was no charge for basically two hours of work that he did. There really isn't enough we could say to express how impressed we were with every aspect of our heating and air conditioning installation. Moore is really a company who does things once and they do it right!!!
Moore's Heating and AC are a trusted and reliable company. Always show up on time and go the extra mile to give customers good service. Gonna be installing AC in our Sonoma home. JP gave us great service. Recommend them for any duct cleaning and heat and AC service.

Doesn't get any better. Our 10 year old tankless water heater went out suddenly and Brooks with Moore Homes Services in Santa Rosa came out to assess the issue. The decision was made to replace after contacting manufacture service rep for verification. Brooks went well beyond in his assessment, due diligence and articulating all our options. The replacement was completed within a few hours. Seems so rare anymore to experience such a timely, well spoken, knowledgeable, courteous and skilled individual. Highly recommend!

I used these Moore last year when blower motor died - they actually we're able to give me a lower price in total if I joined their Gold Club. Fast forward 9 months and Moore gives me a call to let me know we're due for our yearly AC tune-up, absolutely free with our Gold Club membership. Nick D. came out, spent over two hours adjusting, cleaner and inspecting things. Great guy, great service - he had a few suggestions on improving the efficiency of the system, some of which were rather costly, but no hard sell. An addendum, I just received my winter furnace inspection from Moore. Technician Steve was prompt, courteous and very informative about suggestions for improving the efficiency of the system. Kudos to Moore for having a great staff.
Dale was very helpful from start to finish. He explained things well, corrected an issue with another vendor when they weren't responsive and was always prompt, professional and kind in his communications. I had lots of work done and feel very confident in the company and appreciate having Dale to guide me through the process. I will definitely use Moore for future needs and highly recommend them to anyone.

We asked Moore Heating and A/C to bid on a new furnace, and their proposal suggested either a Bandaid option (a single-stage furnace with 80% efficiency) for $5,000 (cash), or a Smart Investment option (a dual-stage with 95% efficiency) for $7,000 (cash). The bid did not include the make and model numbers of the proposed furnaces.
We got another bid from a different company, and that proposal was far clearer. It noted the make and model of the furnace, and was much more specific about the work that would be done and the warranties we get. We ended up paying $6,000 for a Trane dual-stage furnace with 95% efficiency. Included in that price was a permit, a Cal Cert duct test, and a new condensate drain system, none of which had been specified in the Moore proposal.
We chose the other company and we were very glad we did so. I urge you to get a second bid!

We got lucky considering we didn't find this company on our own. I had signed up at the Home Depot for a DEAL: $19.99 inspection and tune-up of our A/C and heater. When I got the call to schedule from Moore I was headed out of town and asked the rep to call back in a couple of weeks. Well lo and behold, she did! Right at the perfect time. I scheduled the visit.
I could write a book about this experience (I started to!) but then thought I should cut to the chase: I found the people at Moore to be not only courteous and professional but genuinely caring and...did I say professional? They called when they said they would call, showed up when they were expected, and did a thorough and professional job.
The HVAC guy who came to our house, Jeff Gregory, was a great guy and very knowledgeable. I liked him the moment I met him. My dog liked him right away, too. If you're a dog person you know that's no small thing. He put booties over his shoes before walking into my house when I asked him to come in and meet my husband.
He inspected the A/C unit outside the home and din't bat an eyelash when we told him he would have to climb into the attic to inspect our furnace (we had it put up there during a renovation to make room on our main floor).
He inspected our units and gave us great tips on upkeep and how we could improve the system in the future when we get around to doing our next planned upgrades.
Long story short, I highly recommend Moore and if you are lucky you might get Jeff Gregory (but I get the impression that ALL their employees are of the caliber he is). Two enthusiastic thumbs up!
Moore Heating and Air is amazing. I just had a completely new Furance and A/C unit installed at my house. Curtis came by and reviewed the existing system. We didn't have A/C and the furnace was kind of acting up. So, he gave us several different options including just donig the furnace now and A/C later, installing a single zone or doubel zone. We opted for the single zone and within a week they came to install.
3 gentlemen showed up to install. They were on time and when they arrived they all put cloth booties over their shoes as to not track any dirt into the house. We went over the plan and by the time I was home, the entire system was running.
Later that night I noticed the air return was still rather loud, something Curtis had expressed concern about becaue of it's location. A week later, they came back and completely rerouted the air return to a much better location in the house. He did this for a very reasonable price and it changed everything. Now we don't have to crank up our TV when the furnace or A/C is running. His rengineering was creative and effective.
I would say the best part of their install is that, when they were done no trash or extra material was anywhere. In fact the entire area outside and inside was cleaner then when they started. Imagine that...a Contractor that cleans up after he's done. VERY IMPRESSIVE CREW AND JOB WELL DONE!

These guys are as good as it gets. We had four estimates for our furnace replacement and duct improvement work. Jon Diamond's thoroughness, integrity, and communication was by far the best. The price was also very fair.
Then, the work of Curtis and his crew surpassed any of our expectations. They transformed a byzantine heating system into a perfect one. Curtis explained carefully everything they were doing and also educated us in how best to use the system. Importantly too, he was a joy to work with. And they also cleaned up every speck of debris from the work, as well as carefully removing and disposing of all of our old system.
If I could give them more than five stars, I would.
And, by the way, this was totally unsolicited. It's a pleasure to give Jon, Curtis, and the company a plug.

They gave us an estimate on our rebuild in Coffey park. Really nice and willing to work with us. They got our estimate to us in a very quick manor. It was just a little too much for our budget so we didn't use them, but I will use them for any repairs or servicing. Only 4 stars because I feel like their past reps in Home Depot were pushy when I declined and had to explain the house burned down, which I didn't really want to go into. Overall the staff in the office and the estimate process was wonderful
I happened to call for service on a wall unit heater the very day they added that particular service to their offerings. It's hard to find a company to work on wall units, so I was both happy and a little hesitant as they were new to this kind of service. Nick came and with a little tinkering found an obvious problem. We had just purchased the house so we had no idea what we were dealing with. The unit stopped working again a few days later, and he came back to diagnose that we just needed to rebuilt the thing. No surprise, we talked about it previously and knew that was a possibility. We ordered parts, waited, and they came and rebuilt it a couple of weeks later. Great. Heat restored. A few weeks later it stopped working again. Ugh. Nick was awesome though. We came back on the very day we called and found a sagging wire, no charge, of course, as everything was under warranty. Super professional and really nice. I will use them on our other properties, and I would highly recommend them. Our repair ended up getting about 50% of the way there to just purchasing a new unit. In retrospect, I think I'd just go with a new unit and be done with it for another $1k. Live and learn.
Ordered the Winter maintenance special. Jeff G. was our service techinician. High energy profeessional. Jeff explained every part of our heating system. When he came into our house he made sure to put on shoe booties. He preformed numerous tests and at the end reviewed all his findings. We needed a new filter and he had it available with him. Jeff thoroughly explained future maintenance and the benefits of the Moore Heating Club membership. There was no preesure to buy, which I appreciated. We highly recommend Moore Heating and will request Jeff for our next year's check-up.
Had an issue with the AC and called Moore to find out what the problem was. They came out and found we had blown a capacitor and fuse. They recommended also adding a hard start kit. When all said and done we were over $500. The AC was giving us issues again later and I had them come out again and they recommended we replace the whole system. The whole process felt like dealing with a used car salesman. I was so put off by this visit I looked up the cost of the fuse and capacitor I had done before and it was less than $25 for the parts retail. The start kit was not much either. We got ripped off. Since then we have received ads regarding getting $ off a new system. In this they try to monetize power savings over time and add that as a large discount to the system cost. This is just deceiving and insulting.
I was first introduced to Moore Heating & Air Conditioning last year when Dale serviced my forced air furnace. He was comprehensive, informative and very professional. He told me that I might have one or two years left on my contractors special furnace. A few weeks ago some awful odors started coming through my heat registers, and that same odor permeated the garage where the furnace is located. This time Ryan came out to service and troubleshoot the unit. He found a number of problems, the most important one being a cracked heat exchanger. Ryan too was very professional and informative. It was now obvious that the 18 year old furnace was at the end of life.
We chose Moore HVAC for our new furnace (and new AC coils while we had the whole thing taken apart). Rich and Dayton showed up on time in the morning with l the new furnace and AC coils and the equipment and supplies needed to install everything. I must say that I was impressed, actually more than impressed! They installed the new furnace, new AC coils, new thermostat, sealed around the edges of the ducts, installed new insulation around the hot air return ducting (very nice looking aluminum coated stuff), ran a connection for an electronic air filter, had the duct work checked for Title 24 compliance and a bunch of other details too. They explained everything to me. They did the entire project in a single day. Their workmanship was superb, they were very professional, worked as a team and were very clean. The end result exceeded my expectations.
I recommend Moore HVAC and am very impressed with their technicians: Rich, Dayton, Ryan and Dale.

We had the air ducts in our house replaced after 26 years. We had holes from rat damage also. The guys (Bob and Juan) did an excellent job in unpleasant conditions! Rain and mud. Chaelo did a great job on our air conditioner tune-up and setting the dampers on the air ducts. Bailey came out to be part of the air leakage test, and also ended up having to go under the house. All the workers did a great job, very professional and friendly.

I am a real fan of Moore. I had a very old furnace. It was installed when the house was built in 1970, so it was 48 years old. Time to replace it. I called a couple of companies, but was so impressed with Moore's professionalism, knowledge and attention to detail. Their price was great, too. Ryan did my estimate, and he was outstanding, never trying to upsell me anything I didn't need. He even threw in a free duct cleaning. The installation was very good, and the testing done to complete the permit was very professional.
Part of their service is to come back after several months to do a tune-up. Jonathon Clark did that. He explained everything about the furnace and things I could do relative to routine maintenance, and other things about new furnaces that I probably would need some professional expertise. He tested everything to make sure it was working properly. He was concerned that the ducts were not as clean as they needed to be. He called the company and scheduled a free duct cleaning. He came back on the scheduled day and did it himself, and even went under the house to inspect the ducting and used a thermal imaging camera to show me some areas of heat leakage in the ducts, making my system less efficient than it could be.
This company stands by its employees and stands by their slogan that it is 100% right or 100% free!!
I am sure you will be as pleased as I was with their work!

Today, Jeff G., meticulously checked all our vents and spent quite some time assessing our AC unit. He was friendly and very patient with our curious dogs. I am a manager of a high quality HVAC company in Las Vegas, and so I know a good company when I see one.
My in-laws live in Northern California, and they were having a problem with their furnace. It was a Saturday afternoon, and I wanted to make sure that they had heat for the weekend, and so I called a couple of places.
They responded very quickly, and as a matter of fact arrived at my Mother in-laws house in less than 45 minutes. They were very thorough over the phone with gathering all of the details that they would need, extremely professional and courteous, and took care of my needs in the exact way that I wanted them to.
They provided a couple of options for replacement(which is what I wanted). The price that they gave me was fair. Especially since they did everything that they needed to do in an efficient, and professional way. Don't shortchange yourself by going with another company. Good quality, service, expertise, and customer service go a long way.

Moore just replaced my entire HVAC system. 2 weeks ago our AC died suddenly, if you can call 18 years of hard use sudden. OK, it was expected. Moore sent out Matthew, who looked over the whole system, and gave us a very good estimate to replace the AC and furnace (older than the AC, and also on its last legs), and to correct some structural problems created by the builder. The dryer vent exited the house just above the AC unit, exhaling lint onto it with every load of laundry. The air intake was about half the size it should have been for a house our size. The space in the attic where the furnace had been installed was too tight for the furnace to be serviced. What space there was leftover was filled with about 40 feet of extra duct, wound and twisted like intestines (no wonder the airflow was so low). We're wondering how did it all pass inspection originally?
We scheduled installation of the new system - it was a lot of work, so it took two days. The installers, Troy and Tommy, were great. They were on-time, worked hard, friendly, respectful of our home (they put those little booties on every time they came in the house), polite with my kids, and cleaned up after themselves as they went, and then thoroughly vacuumed each day as they left the house. If only my kids were more like Troy and Tommy! At the end of day 2, Marcelus appeared. He taped up all the gaps in the duct work to ensure everything was sealed properly, and then worked with a 3rd-party certifier to make sure everything was functioning efficiently. Of course, it is, and we now qualify for energy efficiency rebates!
Overall, I'm very satisfied with my experience.
We had Moore install both a water heater and furnace today. Victor and Edgar we're fantastic! They arrived ahead of schedule and called in the morning to confirm. They worked together to complete the project and didn't leave until I was satisfied with both units that were installed. They answered questions about the products to the best of their abilities and left the site taking all the debris with them. Moore delivered as promised and to be honest were 35% less than other quotes I received! As with any project....just be vocal about your needs and they'll take care of the rest!

Our furnace was making some rattling noises and after Jeff came out to check on it, we were persuaded to look into a replacement, given that the furnace was way past its expiration date. Dale came and did a full assessment of our home in terms of energy efficiency. He was very helpful and courteous. Based on his recommendations we chose a similar heater from the one we have had before, and at first were going to put in an additional register in my daughter's room. However, it was later determined that because of the location adding a register was not feasible. The job was done by Austin and Jamison who did good work and were, again, very helpful and courteous. Later, Marcelus came by to do a testing of the furnace and all seems well. We are now waiting for the final inspection.
+ I like that I was given a precise arrival time for each appointment.
+ All the technicians were super friendly and professional
- I was not able to get a cost breakdown. Instead I was quoted a lump sum, which does not give the customer much to work with in terms of comparing prices.
Overall, a good experience!
Tommy, Austen and Ronnie installed a new Day&Night furnace in my home this week. What an upgrade and what a great team effort! They were very thorough, worked successfully through some challenges and I felt like they were doing their best to make me a happy customer -- which I definitely am. I had a truly excellent experience getting central air installed in my 53 year-old home. What really sold me on going with their bid (which was frankly a bit higher than the two others I got), was the level of attention to detail (I didn't feel I would be hit with unforeseen costs--and I wasn't!), and especially Corrina--the consultant who came to my house--knowledgeable, friendly. I just wanted to work with her right away! At every step--installation, inspection--every single person was amazing! They tell you once you're done that you're basically family now--they'll take care of you. And I genuinely believe them! I'll follow up and let you know once I get to needing annual maintenance. ANd I'm thinking about getting solar...I would go to them first.

When our furnace quit, we called around for a repair, and Moore was able to come out the same day, for only $49, a bargain in the field. Dale pointed out several issues with our 25 year old furnace, which would have cost almost as much as a new one to fix, so we decided to replace it. We didn't shop around, so I can't really evaluate the cost relative to other bids, but in researching after the fact, their price was $1000 below the average for our area code, plus their warranty and customer satisfaction ratings are very good. The next morning, right on time, Austin and Jamison arrived and set to work. They were polite, professional, hard working and skilled in their work. The installation required some special ductwork to fit around the hot water heater, and the finished product looks so good, I may need to finish the garage to match! All in all, we're very satisfied with the work done.

I was referred to Moore by a friend and ended up having a big hassle and delays on my hands. I called for an estimate and the man who did that was quick, efficient, and explained everything to me about how the heater would be installed, leaving sheet rock to be taped and painted, and that I'd need to have a city inspection on the work. My appointment for installation was scheduled for the installers to be at my house by 8:00AM. The day arrived and I waited for the installers. By 8:15AM, they hadn't shown up so I phoned, only to get an answering service. I told them I couldn't wait any longer, so went to work. Several people from Moore left me messages that morning telling me the technicians were on their way, then that the tech was at my house but no one was home. Apparently Moore doesn't get messages from their phone message service. We scheduled the install again and the techs showed up on time. About two hours later, I got a message saying the manager had stopped the installation due to some issues that came up. I spoke again with manager, Jim, and he had stopped the install because he wanted to make sure I was aware of the sheet rock work and city inspection needed. The initial estimator had explained all of that to me already so there was no need to hold up the installation - AGAIN. Throughout the weeks, Jim had promised to return my calls at particular times. He didn't phone when he said he would and I had to contact him. On the 3rd installation appointment, the heater was finally installed. The estimator and all technicians all did a superb job. Not so with Jim. There is little to no communication between the technicians and the office, seemingly. Jim held up the installation for 2 weeks, which meant I had to rearrange other work scheduled at my home. Too bad for them there are plenty of other great companies to go with.

My experience may be an outlier, but I feel I need to share. I had Moore give an estimate for significant work on our home and the initial number was so expensive that I was dumbfounded, so I asked for a much simpler solution and was given a quote that still send high. Even though the house was cold, I thought it was worth waiting for another HVAC company to give me a quote, which turned out to be 30% lower for the same work. I have no idea how they come up with their numbers but the quote from Moore was very expensive compared to other respected companies in Santa Rosa. I suggest to at least get a quote from another installer before using Moore.

We had a 10 year old AC unit in our server room that began to experience problems. Our normal service was done through another company, so they recommended replacing the unit after some troubleshooting. I had read the Yelp reviews of Moore Heating and Air Conditioning, who were very well rated. I sought three quotes for the replacement and decided on Moore. They were not the least expensive, but the warranty was better than the other companies and they seemed like they could be trusted. When the technicians arrived they were very polite and professional. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs with both the level of noise and the way they worked in our office. I would definitely recommend Moore to anyone needing HVAC service.

Dale came out to our home for a furnace inspection and was very thorough and courteous. He arrived on time and explained everything that he was doing!
Randy did a nice job.The only thing missing was HERO program not fully disclosing all additional financing charges over and above the actual cost of furnace.Randy could have been clearer about that.Randy also said at some point there will be an inspection of ducts.So far no one has contacted me about that.However he did do a good job.Seems like a good guy.
Oscar and his assistant jorge also worked very hard all day and even worked overtime to get it done.They have a funny banter between them.Sometimes they seemed to have pissed each other off, but no one got too upset and they just kept plowing thru every obstacle.Hard workers.They also just kept on checking anything I brought to their attention.

I just purchased a new heating system, and he found some things that needed tweaking, including fastening the heater to the floor and wall which helped quiet any vibration. He spent a lot of time checking the air conditioner and furnace and ducts. Great job!
I've written my fair share of yelp reviews before, but this one is by far the most important, the one where words will fail me and five stars will seem a paltry accolade to represent this company's unsurpassed level of customer service.
John and Curtis are the owners of this company and I can truly say that these two men care more about their customers and the reputation of this company than anyone could ever expect. Just trust me on this one - I won't go into detail, but we had a significant miscommunication with the company concerning the AC, and John and Curtis went so above and beyond to rectify the situation and make sure that we were satisfied that I feel I have something to learn from them about customer service being a small business owner myself. We are so grateful to them and I will forever recommend them and patron them, not despite the miscommunication but because John and Curtis showed so much concern and dedication to their mission: 100% guaranteed.
Needless to say, Moore Heating and Air Conditioning cares - about their product, their reputation and their customers (past, present and future). Besides the outstanding customer service, our AC works great, the new furnace is awesome and we couldn't be happier with the way both run - super quiet and efficient. The guys that came to install the units were so nice, respectful, on time and professional - they even rearranged their schedules to make sure the job got done in a timely manner when things took a little longer than expected. The financing was so doable and we were able to find a payment that worked for us.
All in all, this company sets the standard for other HVAC companies to strive for, so if you want the best possible company doing the best possible job for your heating and air conditioning needs, then simply look no further.

It was great working with these guys on installation of a central AC system. From the salespeople to the schedulers and especially the installation crew, everyone I worked with was awesome. Their initial bid was a little on the high side at first relative to other bids I'd received, but we were able to negotiate a price that felt fair to me, and the install was done absolutely beautifully. The guys (Ira and Som) were professional and friendly and just super easy to have in my home. They were patient and really worked with me to address my concerns about the location of the outdoor compressor (which is big and somewhat unsightly and so required careful placement), even responding to texts after hours, and I couldn't be happier with their work. I felt that they all really went the extra mile to be sure that I was happy with the end result. Last and definitely not least, the company stands by their work with a 10-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, so I felt that I was in really good hands and that our incentives were all well aligned. That was really one of the main things that helped me make my choice among good companies and bids. Fantastic experience all around!
Great company. I met them at the So Co Fair. Offered me an inexpensive furnace tune up. I realized I haven't had anyone look at the main floor furnace in years other than PG&E. It was the original one when the house was built in the 60s.
I knew it was a work horse but it had become less and less effective. A furnace guy told me about 20 years ago that i should keep it -- that it would last forever.
However, Moore discovered the flame was burning on the outside of the heater and the smoke was going under my house. Also, floor furnaces are pretty uncommon and very expensive these days.
One of the Moore guys discovered we had a hook up in the wall for a furnace. I didn't know this (after 34 years in the house).
So they put in a new one in the wall. It works so much better, is quiet and is not hot when you are near it when it is off. (The floor furnace always kept the hallway warm from the flame, even in the summer -- waste of gas.) The wall unit was about $1700 less than a floor furnace.
During the process we had at least 5 Moore guys at our house. We even had someone come to talk about insulation in some areas. However, they couldn't do it -- there was not enough space for them to install but gave us advice how we could proceed ourselves.
All the guys were terrific. The office people were also nice as pie.
At this point I can't remember everyone's name. I think Barry was one. They were all professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Did a great job. I'm glad we know them now and will use them for other work.
Oh, one more thing. i trusted them more to begin with because they were with Diamond Certified. I have learned Diamond Certified is also a trustworthy business that makes sure their members are good.
Used a $20.00 living social deal for a tune up of my furnace. Two technicians came out, very friendly, and got my furnace cleaned up. They were thoroughly explaining to me how it works, and how much life I could expect out of it. I had a problem with it after they left, but they came out and fixed it right away no charge. Wonderful service and I will recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you Moore heating !

Matt came out and showed up with a smile and excellent customer service. Our AC needed some love during our first heat wave. Matt did a great job and kept sanity in the house with a happy and very pregnant wife and toddler running around. We may end up needing the whole HVAC replaced down the road and would definitely consider this company due to their customer service from phone call to the technician, their professionalism and their competence. I might add that I feel the price was fair as well. Not looking for some fly by night spectacular deal; just an honest and fair price.

Just recently contacted Moore heating about replacing our air ducts. They were recommended to me by a friend who had similar work done a couple of months ago. I contacted Moore and was able to quickly set up an appointment for an assessment of our ducts. The gentleman (whose name escapes me) came to our house a few days later on time and fully prepared. He thoroughly examined below our house and in our attic and then provided me with an excellent explanation of our situation and some options for the direction we could take. He also did his best to work with his boss to get us the best price possible. We were quite pleased with his bid after comparing it with other companies. Approximately one week later, two technicians, Kazu and David, came to our house arriving actually about 20 minutes early (they called first). They were thorough in everything they did, even cleaning up any traces of dirt from under the house. We are at about the 10 day mark right now and everything functions so much better. in a couple of days, as part of the service, a third party comes out and completely checks their work. I highly recommend this company for the quality of their work and their professionalism.
Bought a nice deal on Groupon. Couldn't be happier with the level of professionalism and service from my technician Josh. I live in Napa and they were prompt and courteous. I will use them again for our home needs.

My husband I are were thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and customer service provided by Curtis and the installers who completed the installation of our heating system. We were given an estimate in a timely manner and Curtis went above and beyond answering and addressing all of our questions and concerns. We never felt pressured to go with Moore Heating & Air but after getting multiple estimates from other local companies, the decision was easy. Nobody could beat the estimate, warranty and financing Moore could offer. Plus, the estimate included the City permit.
The crew that came to our home to do the work were on time, if not early, and were respectful of our home and cat (making sure not to let her outside). They wore booties to protect the carpet, used drop cloths to protect the floor/furniture from debris, insulation, etc. and cleaned up each day before they left. Plus, these guys were so personable and friendly, we were so comfortable having them in our home.
We are loving our new heating system (goodbye wall heaters!) and will not hesitate to recommend Moore Heating & Air Conditioning to our family, friends and the community.
I called Moore Heating & Air based on these Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. Friendly customer service, on-time arrival, professional demeanor. Matthew, Senior Technician, was obviously very good at what he does & I felt totally confident in his assessment of my furnace. As a real estate agent, I interact with quite a few service providers on a regular basis, and Moore Heating was top-notch. I will be recommending them to my colleagues & clients.
Highly recommend this company. Brad came to my home and did a very thorough inspection. I learned a lot and found out about some things I need to do to maintain the life and efficiency of my heater. He gave me an estimate of repairs without any pressure. He was very friendly and professional. Great deal for $20.00.

Jumping on the band wagon here... But really they are so well worth it. Eric was as professional as anyone can ask and made the sales process even somewhat enjoyable if you can believe that- it's like we were so comfortable deciding on them despite the large amount we had to commit to. They have an awesome warranty and background- the fact that they didn't make us pay a dime until completion speaks volumes in itself (never ran across that at all). Mike and Tommy (and Martin who came out the last day) they worked their tails off to get our system up and running- they worked 4 days straight in one of the most intense heat waves I've ever been through and they did it with a smile and a good attitude- so polite and professional throughout. I'd recommend these guys any day and just am incredibly grateful they turned out archaic heating unit into an efficient and powerful heating and air conditioning system.
Never had a woman be more rude, or treat me like an incompetent person in my life. I couldn't even get to schedule and appt. She insisted my husband be home (guess who holds the checkbook and makes these types of apt, honey) or that he be reachable by phone as she says, 'there's so many questions, your going to want him home.' Unbelievable! Is this woman from the stone ages?? That's fine by me, I'm sure another company would rather have my business.

To the managers and owners credit, they did reach out to me several times to offer their apologies and offer to rectify the situation. Unfortunately for them, I have already booked several other companies so I do not need another, but I appreciate their attempts to make me a happy customer. As I will not know how their service is, I am adjusting this review to a 3 star from a 1 star because I believe their effort reflects it. As I see so many 5 star reviews on yelp I am sure, if given the opportunity to make an apt, they may do a fine job.

I spent 15 minutes on the phone with a sales rep to discuss the installation of a mini-split system at my home during a remodel. The rep was courteous, but had a hard time understanding that I was requesting something during a home remodel in the future. After asking me lots of questions, he would not setup a no obligation appointment unless my wife was present. Confusing and annoying to spend that amount of time on the phone only to learn we need to have all the owners of the house present to get a bid on a system installation. Perhaps this cuts down on site visits? Perhaps there are lots of folks out there that setup appointment to no fruition? I don't know, but you lost me.
2nd time I had to call to see when someone was going to show up after the 2 hour window they gave me had passed. The first visit they said they were sorry that they were running late and person was on their way. Today they said someone had left a message telling us that they needed to reschedule, my wife had a missed call but no voicemail from the day before. Lady was nice but it appears they have too much going on. I did think the sales person was nice, very profession and did not pressure the sale. The install guys were nice but they were a little messy. The sales person had even said that they had gone through a period of growth with some issues, appears they still are having issues. Both times that I had to call was when they were not getting much money (coupon for diagnostic call was the first time, sales person was on time and install was on time, today was a follow up check up) appears they had bigger jobs that were more important and since they already got paid I can be put on the back burner.

After 16 years we had to replace our AC and furnace - obviously a big expense and choosing the right company was going to be the key to making the process smooth. We had several companies bidding, just to make sure we were doing our due diligence. It was night and day dealing with Moore vs the other companies. Our first visit was from a technician named Jason and he wasn't just a friendly guy, he was super passionate about making sure every detail was inspected to make sure we actually even needed an entire new system - that's just good business (the other companies pretty much immediately just told us we needed a brand new one). Our second visit was with Randy to help us determine what type of system was best for us. He was also not only very friendly and down to earth, but passionate about making sure we got the right system for our house (not the most advanced or most expensive option like some of the other companies recommended). I trusted Randy when he said you don't need that referring to a system that was too much power/advanced for our home. We got a great price and more importantly we got the security knowing we were dealing with a great company that would help us down the road if something happens (10 year warranty). Finally, during the install Jose and Martin were very professional, courteous, and of course personable and friendly. They went above and beyond with the install doing work that other companies would have just let go (sealing and patch work to ensure efficiency and ascetically pleasing as well). Overall Moore is a great company and I have the comfort of knowing I can call on a great team if something ever happens to my system. Thanks Moore team!
I called Moore Heating to come out and give me a second opinion on a heating issue I thought that we had. Long story short.... Josh and Jeff where sent out to help. They were they best!!!! They spent about an hour and a half making sure that they checked out everything with our system. They were very patient and kind and answered all of our questions. They gave us some recommendations and options, but bottom line nothing was wrong with our system. Thank you for your honesty. The other company was going to go ahead and do work that did not need to be done. I would use them any time I have a issue and I would most defiantly recommend them!
Don't even think of going anywhere else for AC/ Heating Companies!! I have worked with a few AC/heating companies in Sonoma County and Moore's is by far the BEST!!! The teams are very well trained and really take their time to explain problems and fixes. I felt they really cared about us. David came to evaluate the situation and took more time than we would have thought because he was very thorough. He fixed part of our problems (because he needed to order parts) and did an excellent job. Jonathan completed the work the following week and was great, too! Both of them were very professional and knowledgeable!! Bianca came over to address future needs and upgrades for our older system. She was very informative and knowledgeable,too. We were so impressed with this team! The woman that called to schedule was great, too but I forgot her name! Sorry! She deserves to be mentioned, too. I will be their customer forever!! Thank you!!!I am so happy!!!
The person on the phone was very nice and arranged an appointment within a few days. She called when the technician left their offices to give me a sense of when he would arrive within the predetermined window. He arrived as expected, and he was very courteous, personable, and knowledgeable. He inspected our systems, took photos, and gave me a lot of helpful information about our system--age, quality, life span, care, condition, etc. The AC unit had gotten very dirty over the years and he offered to clean it. While I expected there might be an extra charge for the cleaning, I did not ask him for a specific amount at that time. He didn't offer an estimate. He completed the cleaning. When he came inside to settle the final bill, I was surprised to discover that the cleaning would cost more than $250. The inspection of the two systems was on a coupon deal for $99. Since the technician spent nearly 3 hours with us, the overall charge of $375 seemed neither here nor there. At the end of the visit, he described their annual maintenance plan. If I signed up for the $165 plan at that very moment, he offered to reduce the bill by $100. It felt like a high pressure hard sell, and I didn't care for it. I am glad I held my ground and did not buy the plan. It's not to say that I wouldn't call this company again for future inspections, maintenance, or repairs, but I would make sure to ask for an estimate when any additional service is offered, and I would shut down the sale pitch from the start. In summary: I learned a lot from the inspection about our system. I feel like we will have a more efficient system because of the cleaning that took place. I wish this company had provided clear pricing estimates in advance of all work to be done, and the hard coercive sell on a maintenance plan left a bad taste in my mouth. At the end of his visit, the tech asked me to leave a Yelp review. I hope I have provided a fair account of my experience.

I don't even know where to start! It has been a long long time since I have been this happy with a company's SERVICE. Outstanding service from the time they walked in with a quote to when they walked out of the check-up six months later. Professional, clean, courteous, outstanding result, and each team member went the extra mile. I honestly did not think this kind of service existed anymore. I had an A/C unit installed in May. The quote was straightforward with no pressured up-selling. The installation team came in, made an extra effort to crawl through a very tight space to run electrical so the outside of my house stayed clean-looking. And one tech even tightened my door handle because it was getting loose. Six months later, a tech came to check the unit and make sure it was all running right. He used the outside hose to clean the unit and noticed that the faucet needed tightening so he tightened it up for me!! He also used his phone to video how to shut the A/C unit down if I needed to. All technicians covered their shoes each time they came in and cleaned up every little bit of everything when they were done. I work in HR so when I saw this level of service, I had to ask about it. Each tech boasted on how happy they were to be working for Moore. With employee perks and hula hoop discipline :-) , Moore has found the sweet spot for keeping employee's and customers alike happy. We called Moore to do a safety inspection of our furnace. The operator was friendly and told us she would have someone call back within an hour to set up an appointment. Someone called back promptly to set up the appointment within 15 minutes. Then Dale came out for the inspection the next day. They called us to let us know Dale was on his way during the time frame that we were told (unlike other companies). He was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He answered a multitude of questions we had. We decided to purchase a new furnace due to it being 38 years old with several issues and safety concerns. Barry, Dale's supervisor, came to our home within 10-15mins after being requested by Dale to answer questions about purchasing a new one. Barry was also very nice and professional. The two were very understanding and accommodating and put us at ease with such an important purchase.
Absolutely top notch service. My husband and I took advantage of a local coupon from amazon. Well worth the investment, dale the service technician came in and worked through our furnace from top to bottom. He took pictures and notes along the way. He explained what he was seeing. Come to find out our furnace was on its last legs. He was very professional and was concerned about not making a mess. There was no hard sale or push. He organized to have his supervisor come in and talk to us about replacing it. That evening he had organized to have Barry come out and go through what it would take to replace it.
Barry did an excellent job of taking care of our worries and questions. He had set up the install by the end of the week and they are busy installing it now. They have taken care of some of the DIY repairs that were done to the system.
The install crew have done a very nice, clean job and tidied up at the end of the day. They made sure before they left at the end of the week that we will have heat so we aren't without heat.
I can't speak more highly of the whole team. Everyone is very helpful and easy going. They want to make sure any questions or concerns are taken care. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to the next person who needs HVAC work done.

I had heater trouble and Eric of Moore HVAC was quick to arrive after hours and get the heater working. Eric worked on my heater in the pouring rain for over an hour as my heater is an out door unit. Moore's pricing was way cheaper than anyone. They answer their phones 24/7, I was in dire need and the 3 previous repairmen I called never even answered their phones. Thank you Eric, and thank you Moore!

Moore HVAC was here this morning and I was super impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and how they looked out for my best interests. Dale Wheeler spent over two hours inspecting my furnace to make sure if the repair would be worth the $$ or replacing it. I did not feel pressured rather I felt informed and delighted by his work and explaining to me every step of the way. I would highly recommend Moore HVAC and they will be installing my new system ASAP. Barry came out to double check the problems and confirmed a new heater was neded. I am very impressed with all of the technicians. Great customer service and knowledge to boot!

I have an old house with 4 units that I just purchased so was ready for a lot of surprises with plumbing, electrical and of course heating systems. Jason was very helpful with explaining what is working and what doesn't so we could make smart decisions on how to spend money. He made all needed fixes and the price was very reasonable. If anything else comes up definitely calling Jason.
I had Moore out last week to fix my air conditioner and back today to inspect my 19-year old furnace. I am very impressed with their level of customer service. Jason came out both times and he was great. I can't speak to Gary R's experience, but I received a very detailed written estimate with several different options for recommended actions. Just as one would expect from a professional organization.
Dale came out to give me the bad news...I had a way outdated furnace and that it was going to need to be replaced. Thats the bad news. The good news is that Dale worked very hard on the inspection (Under priced in my opinion). Barry came out to quote a new furnace and install, set up the date for the next week and Sean came out as promised and installed. Excellent communication with the office calling to let me know they were coming the next day, excellent communication from the techs that came out. I would definitely use them again.
I am writing this review because I was MOST impressed by the customer service at Moore Heating and Air Conditioning. From the initial call to the inspection to the servicing I found them to be reliable, responsive and considerate. When we ran into unforeseen circumstances (not their fault) they were kind enough to resolve the problem immediately, when some companies might have disregarded my concerns. They had my air conditioning up and running again in a very short time, and on top of it all they were sympathetic to my discomfort since I was going to be recovering from surgery at home and really needed the air conditioning during a very hot spell. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.
I'm a real estate agent and take my vendor reviews very seriously. I was recently introduced to Moore Heating & AC because a client wanted to use them for an inspection. I was completely impressed - the staff was awesome about accommodating our crazy (and immediate) schedule needs, and the technician Dale Wheeler was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, customer-oriented, and made a genuine effort to make sure that my client understood what was needed, along with options and timelines. There was no sales pressure, just advice and support. Exactly what we were looking for - I definitely recommend.
Corrinna is an excellent representative for Moore HVAC. I was thoroughly impressed with the thoroughness of her inspection, detailed reporting of findings and explanation of our options. Without Corrinna, we would have continued with an over-sized and inefficient furnace pushing air through under-sized duct work. We will be calling Moore HVAC when we have out next requirement thaks to Corrinna.

I just had a new gas package unit installed by Moore Heating and Air Conditioning. These guys are craftsmen who take pride in the work they do and act like they want your business. There was no hard sell, they just listened to what I wanted. The independent leak tester guy said it was the lowest level of leak that he had ever seen. The price was very reasonable as well.

I was referred to Moore Heating and Air by a former coworker who was in charge of property maintenance at my former job. I checked yelp and the 5 star rating confirmed my decision to go with Moore. I booked on-line and received a call within a few minutes. The tech who came out was David and like the other reviews, he was courteous, on time, and went into detail using pictures from his phone to show me what the job entailed. The job was completed in less than an hour after the consultation and he had me test it to my satisfaction prior to signing and leaving. I explained that I would leave a yelp and he actually told me that there is an ongoing competition to get their names positively mentioned on yelp which translates to a competition to best make their customers so happy they write about it. Good job David and Moore Heating and Air!
Moore Heating gave me the best service, by far, out of 3 different HVAC companies that worked on ONE problem that I had. The first company was recommended to me by an older relative who only used them (Ongaro & Sons). My experience with Ongaro was different: I do not trust them, and will never use them, nor recommend them. At minimum, they put no effort into ensuring that you get heat as soon as possible--they say that you have to wait for a part on order, when really your service location is just inconvenient for their techs until there's another appointment nearby. Same problem with the second company: if they don't have the right replacement part WITH THEM AT THAT VERY MOMENT to fix your problem, you go to the end of the line. Yes, someone else in the company could bring the right part, but too bad, you can wait five days without heat. Moore Heating is the complete opposite of the first two companies I dealt with. Ryan came out and had the same problem as the second company: the replacement part was wrong for my furnace. By the time we reached that conclusion, he was at the end of his 2-hour appointment window for me. No problem. He called his supervisor and then waited out in his truck for 45 minutes until a supervisor could bring an alternative replacement part. Unless they HONESTLY have to order a part for your furnace, they will fix your problem THE DAY OF SERVICE. I told Ryan that as long as we had heat before nightfall, I was happy to wait. But Moore Heating doesn't even ask the customer to wait one minute. As soon as Ryan reported he needed a different part, they delivered one to him immediately. I need a new furnace, and I couldn't imagine using a company that wouldn't do ITS BEST to fix a heating failure ASAP. The first two companies I used, they work at their convenience. Moore Heating employees are true professionals. Their job is to ensure you have heating & A/C. And they deliver. Oh, and by the way, they have 24-hour service--that is how committed they are to NOT having customers wait when they have problems. And moreover, if you hire them to replace a part on a failing furnace (like mine), they will credit that cost towards a new furnace. That means that their prices are completely fair, and worth every penny for the outstanding service that they provide. Thank you, Ryan! And Barry, you are a great supervisor! The second company I used had a supervisor who wasn't willing to support his staff, and they lost a customer who would've bought a new, 95% efficient furnace.
From the initial meeting to the final installation, everyone was professional, friendly, neat, and helpful. Everything was completed ahead of schedule. Jon was thorough about answering our many questions and making us feel comfortable with the price tag. When we needed follow up to adjust dampers, it was done quickly and at no charge. The new system works great. While Moore's quote was significantly higher than everyone else (and we got several other bids) it was also the most detailed, most thorough, and included the most work, all done at a high quality.
