HISTORY

Jesus has been in the Plumbing Industry for 20+ years.  He began his plumbing career working for a plumbing company that only did new construction. Every single day he was installing new Water, Gas, and Sewer lines for brand new homes. The plumbing had to comply with city code, deadlines had to be met, and the work had to pass inspection. He became very skilled and learned to work efficiently.

After many years of doing plumbing for new construction, Jesus decided it was time for a new opportunity. He embraced the opportunity to work for a service based plumbing company. His work experience really helped him thrive because he was capable of doing a quick repair or replacing the entire plumbing for a building aka a Re-Pipe.

Despite his success, Jesus was ready for a new challenge. That's when he decided to start his own company. At JC Green Plumbing, we provide ourselves in doing high quality work and ensuring the customer experience is great.

My sewer lateral backed up recently and we needed someone to come out and help unclog it.
The two plumbers JC Green sent out, Romero and Lorenzo, came out and tried everything in the book. They ultimately had to use a high powered jet streamer and that finally got the job done! These guys were at my house for hours, and worked extremely hard to figure out what the problem ultimately was. They offered fair long term solutions afterwards and gave advice for what do in the future, if something like this were to happen again.

Cynthia was also extremely patient and understanding during this whole ordeal. I found myself calling her multiple times through the evening and she was awesome. She understood our situation and was very patient with us.

I'd absolutely recommend these guys again. They're fair, work hard and do their best to leave the job site the way it was before they got there.

I am a Realtor and recently worked on a property for a buyer that requires sewer lateral inspection and compliance. Romero and the crew arrived on time for the inspection. After a walkthrough of the property, they could not perform the sewer inspection due to an issue on the property. It is not their fault but they offered to come back again once the issue is resolved. When they come back for the second time, it is still not easy for them to perform the inspection. However, Romero is so persistent to get the job done, and he and his crew made it happen. 
I highly recommend JC Plumbing to anyone who needs a knowledgeable, on-time, and professional plumber. I found out later when talking to that city's sanitary department inspector, JC Plumbing is on their preferred list of plumbers!

Cynthia is great with dispatch. Quick to respond and very flexible. This is my 4th time using them. They've installed a pressure assisted toilet, replaced all the metal piping under my kitchen sink with ABS and installed two toilets upstairs. It was a different person almost every time but the quality and customer service has been consistent every time.

Will continue to use them in the future.

Very polite and professional crew! Cynthia was able to answer all my questions and get things scheduled for a next day service which was perfect with my schedule. Francisco showed up with everything needed to complete the job and the exact toilet I requested. He was able to get everything installed with no issues and left the work area clean. I needed help with a public bathroom sink that was having constant backup issues. We run a busy business and I couldn't wait too long for services so I called JC Green Plumbing and they scheduled me that day. The plumber was super friendly and was able to clear the pipe in a short about of time. We have worked with other plumbers but JC Green was definitely professional, responsive and they knew what they were doing quickly.

Booking an appointment was easy, and the dispatcher said that there's a minimum $160 charge for the 1st hour/ visit, plus any parts needed.  The plumbers showed up on time and started to suggest a lot of repairs for a simple leak.  We settled on a gasket replacement for the shower valve, but the plumbers stated that wasn't covered under warranty.  The gasket replacement fixed the leak. Initially they wanted to charge $32.50 for each gasket, which is ridiculous, and we settled on a lower price.  Based on the experience, I wouldn't use JC Green Plumbing again.

I'm very satisfied with JC Green Plumbing. We were having an issue with our toilet and ended up having to replace it. Francisco and Romero were punctual, efficient, and courteous. They were also very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and explained what they were doing and what our options were very clearly. Cynthia was also very knowledgeable and understood the situation when I called to explain our problem. She was great about returning my calls and answering my questions. Each time I called to schedule an appointment we were able to get someone out here within 48 hours, which worked with my schedule. I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs. We will definitely call them the next time we need a plumber.

We had a backup with our drain and water was coming out of the shower, toilet and sink. It was pretty bad.

I heard about Jesus and his team from a friend of mine who previously hired him and I'm really glad I call him.

He answered immediately and was on his way to my house asap.

Within minutes they found the problem and fixed it immediately.

Now everything drains properly and the funky smell that was coming from the drain is gone!

I spoke with a very nice woman on the phone this morning, I didn't catch her name, (Cynthia maybe?) but she was incredibly patient with me even though she was in the middle of doing something.  It's not easy to take questions when you're in the middle of doing something important, so thank you - whoever you are.  I have a remodel in the future and I'm shopping for electricians, plumbers, carpenters etc. and I haven't yet decided.  I like their website, their work (based off the photos) looks spectacular.  Even though I haven't made any decisions, JC Green Plumbing has definitely jumped a few spots on my 'consider' list.

I had two leaky outdoor spigots that have been leaking badly for some time.  I called JC Green Plumbing when I saw all the great reviews and I have a great review to add.  Carlos was here in less than an hour.  The fix for one spigot was more complicated than expected but he had all the tools and materials to do the job and he fixed them both efficiently.  I am very happy with the service.  Carlos was pleasant, professional and efficient.  I will definitely use them whenever I need a plumber again.

I was away for the week for work and my girlfriend hired this plumber to work on our shower.  They apparently decided to change the shower faucet to one the plumber had on hand.  The result was... well I am amazed that anyone actually charged money for this.  

The handle fell off the first time I showered, as did the little ring that said which way was hot or cold such that there was no way for the user to figure out how to properly get the right temperature.  

This workmanship was stunningly incompetent.  See the attached photos.  Only way it could be worse is if the water was leaking everywhere.  I remain amazed that we paid money for this.

Very appreciative to this crew for being able to get me on the calendar quickly. My sewer one backed up for the second time in a month. Wished I had used these guys the first time, then there probably wouldn't have been a second need. The plumber that came out quickly and efficiently cleared the blockage and did his camera inspection. I was very relieved to find that there was nothing wrong with the pipes themselves.

I had a sewer backup problem and started some work with a different plumbing company. Their communication was poor and they left a huge mess, to say the least.
After describing the issue with Jesus, he was able to FaceTime me at the site and helped me understand the root cause, short term fix, and long term solution. He was so patient with all of my dumb questions, and I learned a lot about my house!
Communication and transparency is such an important factor for me, since I am not at the house, and need someone I can trust. The entire team was very professional and I would definitely work with them again.

I had a leaking toilet this morning and have had issues with this toilet in the past so I decided to go buy a new one and see if I could find someone to come out to install it.
The lady who answered the phone was very nice and was able to get me a appointment for the same day. I was very grateful.
When Jose showed up, he was very nice and offered to get the new toilet out of my car for me, since it was too heavy to do on my own. Jose was very kind and was able to keep me up to date on the issues that had come from my old toilet and replace it with the new one. Jose cleaned up the area when he was done and did a quick but excellent job.
I will definitely be using their services again. Thank you.

Our kitchen drain line was backed up, my dad was about to cut the wall open. We ended up calling JC Green Plumbing and they did a great job!

They installed a clean out and snaked the kitchen line. My dad and I are extremely thankful for their work at our house. They were very responsive and finished the work in a great timely manner.

I gave these guys a great review a couple of years ago. But nothing will get me to call them ever again.

Find another plumber. One who sends people out who are proud of their work and don't forget to close holes in water supply lines before they leave, so you get to clean up after them AGAIN, because they left dirt and bits of garbage all over the work area in the first place.

They were more than happy to get their HUGE check, though.

Hot water heater decided to say goodbye to us. I sent a message to JC Plumbing in the middle of the night and received a message early in the morning with a time they could out and take a look. By the afternoon, my home had a late XMAS gift of a new hot water heater. A big thank you to Ramiro and his assistant Francisco. They did a great job and were super friendly. JC Green will continue to be my plumbing company of choice.

Great plumbers. This is the 3rd time we've used them. This time they installed a regulator on the outside of the house bc our water pressure was too high. They are professional and communicative. They are my go-to plumber to call when in need.

I called JC Green Plumbing to have them assess a tankless water heater issue.   The phone rep was keen to state I may need to replace your tankless heater because of its age - it is 9 years old.  This should have clued me in to the deceptive practices exercised by this firm.  It was very clear to me that the temperature  pressure relief (TPR) valve  was the cause of the leak.  However, the tech showed up and did not state that the TPR was the problem and called his boss to assess the problem.  After the call the tech said that replacing the TPR valve only solves 10% of leakage problems for tankless water heaters and suggested that the heater needed to be replaced.   Give me a break.  This is clearly a scam to do work that does not need to be done.  I sent the tech on his way after paying a ridiculous fee of $160.  I brought in another plumber who fixed the problem by replacing the TPR valve.

Used this company twice. The first time they hit a home run. Fixed issue quickly and efficiently even tho the unit downstairs had a bit of a flood but really not the plumbers fault. Condo situation. Cleaned up well and no future issues.

Second time I was excited to use them at my home but did not turn out to be as good of an outcome. They couldn't fix the diverter as it is old. Understandable. The tech proceeded to go work on an old cheap faucet and took hours! Started cutting pipes and also damaged our countertop. They installed a new fixture but damaged the top countertop so it looked equally bad! Will not be calling them back.

Highly recommended! Have used JC Green several times over the years and they're always my go-to when I need any plumbing services performed at my home. The latest call was for resolving issues with water pressure at my home and, as always, their team was prompt, professional, and trustworthy! JC Green Plumbing is amazing! They rescued us after a particularly bad experience with the previous company (we'll call them Company X) who remodeled our bathroom.

Company X had failed to properly install our bathroom overflow drain. When the tub water got up the the overflow drain level, water started pouring out of the side of the house. We called Company X back to fix it, and after 30 min or so of work, they claimed they did. We later discovered that they did NOT fix it, but instead just caulked the overflow drain so that we would think it was fixed.

Enter JC Green Plumbing, and our outstanding plumber Carlos. He determined quickly that, not only was the overflow not attached properly, but that Company X  had also put the wrong part in when attaching the drain. Hence the water pouring out of the side of the house.

He attached the parts that were not connected and replaced the part that Company X had improperly put in.

He was thorough and professional and extremely knowledgeable! The cost came in at the lower end of his bid, which was a welcome relief considering that the landlord had already been charged a fortune by Company X to do the job improperly the first time.

JC Green Plumbing had exceptional customer service, did exceptional work, and restored our faith in humanity!

They are our go-to plumber from now on!

Called when they opened spoke to very friendly receptionist was scheduled and Francisco arrive with in 20 minutes. Had bathroom clog slow drain in sink, toilet and tub wasn't draining. Gave me quote and started at sink to do snake handled all three. Even changed out under sink pipe. I can now leave on vacation in 2 days worth free. Very friendly, professional in out within hour. Will use this company again.

We have used JC Green Plumbing for several household issues including unclogging backed up drains, broken bathtub handle, and a washing machine maintenance. They are very easy to schedule with and in our experience, have been able to schedule someone day of or the next day. They also stay in constant contact the day of the appointment by providing an ETA which is so helpful. Everyone who has come to our house is on-time, professional and knowledgable. They cleared my sewer line, and did a camera inspection.  They showed me all the problems and gave me options to fit my budget, that worked and solved 90% of the problems. The remaining 10%, just comes down to my own maintenance.

A positive experience, and would recommend to my family and friends. Friendly, caring, real nice guys, and reasonable rates!

Went back to see if my review was published and found a reply.  Normally I would just look at as a PR response, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing (McBeth)  It didn't really answer the question as to why a telephone estimate for two water connections and three electrical connections would be so outlandish.  It did talk a lot about quality of work and attention to detail.
That being the case, and though probably spiteful on my part, I just have to ask who's David?

This review is a bit overdue as this corresponds to work that was done in April of 2022.  These folks helped me out quickly, which I am thankful for.  I spoke with the owner discussing charges I had questions about.  He was AMAZING to work with.  Superb communicator, fair, and has a great attitude towards customer service.  Everyone I interacted with at JC Green was super pleasant to work with - as if they'd all been trained on customer service skills.  I am super happy with the work they did.  I will totally use this firm again when  I have any further plumbing needs.

I called to make an appointment with JC Green on a Monday and I had an appointment scheduled right away with a very friendly and helpful office manager. Romero came to my home to fix three leaking toilets and two clogged sinks. He was pleasant, informative, and quick in diagnosing my problems and fixing them! I had dreaded calling a plumber but the whole process was seamless and affordable (for plumbing work). I highly recommend this company, I like how they do business!

I'm super impressed with JC Plumbing.

My wife and I awoke this morning to find a leak in our ceiling, coming from the bathroom above.

I contacted several plumbers for quotes, but JC Plumbing was the only plumber that had same day availability (a major plus, especially with a leak!)

They were incredibly friendly and professional when I called them, and they showed up promptly.

Carlos was very helpful (and taking appropriate Covid precautions).

They fixed the issue (a faulty toilet seal), and they only charged their hourly rate + the cost of the seal (no additional labor fees!).

Carlos even noticed that our bathtub needed new caulking, recaulked it, and didn't charge for the caulking. That, Yelpers, is how you gain a customer.

Outstanding work on all levels

As w a 70 year old home nothing is simple he discovered an issue w the overflow
Ramiro gave me options for repairs

So... the next day 2 plumbers came Ramiro with Ramon  n found a 4 ft coil from a broken rooter when replacing the overflow
Unbelievable!  As that drain has been slow since we got the house

They educated me on plumbing things  n were respectful n were 2 happy guys
Very competent n neat/clean
Like I said Outstanding at many levels
The cost of repairs was fair market value.
It was hard for me let new workers come into my house but these 2 plumbers know their business n want to do the job right!

Completely irresponsible. Set up an appointment then cancels last minute. Give out two options for reschedule only to tell you one of them doesn't work. All without any explanation. Not a good way to do businesses

When is the last time you said Every time we call them for service, we are glad we did! about a plumber?

We had out of state visitors... and a leak coming from under the kitchen sink. The leak was discovered at 4pm on a Friday...  Called them and the polite lady on the phone said they could come out any time the very next day.  I asked if they could come between 8:30-10:30a-- and that's exactly what they did.

The problem turned out to be just a loose hose connection, so the plumber said, Ok I fixed the leak. If it happens again, buy this replacement part at the hardware store, give us a call and we'll install it for you.

And THEN he said, No Charge for today's visit.

Now you know why I said we are always glad we called JC Green Plumbing for help caring for our very old and in-need-of-upkeep house!  The last time it was for a rusted-out water heater. They came over immediately and installed a nice new one for a very reasonable price.

Highly recommend them. Professional, courteous, observing all safety protocols, and if they say they'll be there between 9-11? They WILL BE THERE between 9-11, bringing very great customer service and know-how!

JC Green replaced the water heater in my home. They arrived on time, worked quickly but were very accurate with their work.  When the water heater was installed, they explained to me the work that was done, including adding 2x4's to the back of the wall which prevented the water heater from touching the gas line.  They cleaned up, emailed the receipt, and were on their way.  

I have an older home and have dealt with a few different plumbers and JC Green has been the absolute best one of them all.  I will definitely recommend their services and if needed, I will call on them again.

So I purchased a new fridge and when the company brought in to install the new fridge they told me that my house was old and not to code. I needed a copper hose, shut-off valve, etc. They told me to call a plumbing service to do this.

Calling JC Green Plumbing was the best idea ever. I have no idea about plumbing and at first was afraid that it might be too pricey. When I called I had a great conversation with a woman named Cynthia. She was so kind and assuring and when she told me their rates it seemed fair and not too steep. She sent Erik and his partner to come over to give me a free estimate. They arrived within 30 mins and explained to me what needed to be done.

The next day Ramiro & Humberto (I apologize if I spelled their names wrong) came exactly at the time Erik said they would. From the moment they arrived I could tell that they were highly professional, respectful, and courteous.

While they were working I offered them food and water but they said they were ok. They did a fast and wonderful job installing the new copper hose, shut-off valve etc. They went under my house and worked under the crawl space in over 90 degree heat. I felt so bad and offered them ice waters but they said they already drank.

I was truly amazed at their work. So once they were done I was going to put in the new fridge. They said they can do it, I told them its not their job to install the fridge and move the new and old one but they said No worries we are already here, its our pleasure Wow! Can I give this company 10 stars? A company's employees and the way they perform highly reflects on their management and owners.

I sincerely recommend this company for any job!!!!! I have my go-to plumbing service now for my house. I will tell all my friends and family to come here as well. Have a great weekend JC Green Plumbing! You made my entire year!

One of the most professional companies we've ever worked with.

We contacted JC Green regarding a sewer line repair. They were extremely responsive and very clear with their explanation of the process.

In the end, we learned it wasn't necessary to repair our sewer line (since it our home in Castro Valley was less than 30 years old), so we called to cancel the work. They still graciously & honestly let us out of the contract.

Transparency and good communication is hard to come by service providers, but these guys really excelled here.

Rarely do I spend the time to write a review, but this duo deserved the effort!   JC Green Plumbing is FANTASTIC and will now be my Plumber (and any and all things related) of choice!   The two individuals came in and addressed our clogged toilet with incredible efficiency - in and out in 15 minutes.  In addition, they were pleasant, professional and conscientious enough to ask if we had carpet so that they could place their booties on their work boots.

Did I mention that they were able to come within an hour of my phone call?

Also, the individual who answered the phone - phenomenal.

I've had a leaky shower for a while now.  I remember calling another plumber and got quoted a ridiculous price to open up my walls and fix the leak.  I basically got turned off by the cost and decided to forgo the fix.  Fast forward to today and after getting a majority of our walls painted, I decided to revisit this leak.  When JC Green Plumbing showed up, they took their time going in the crawl space looking for the leak in hopes of not having to open up the walls.  I really appreciated this even though the final fix was to open the walls.  But they were able to do the work in 2 hrs and their quoted hourly rate is reasonable.  Then my wall paint guys patched it up and painted. In the end I spent hundreds with JC Green Plumbing when the first company was quoting me thousands.

This is my second job with JC Green (wrote a review about 4 weeks ago).  This job was to replace some pipes below the house that were in very bad shape and to install a new clean out which my house never had.  Jesus was great with communication and always got back to me.  He worked with me on pricing and scheduling and was very professional.  The crew at the house again led by Eric were fantastic and they did an amazing job.  They are very meticulous about their work and explained everything very clearly prior to the job.  Everything done in about 6-8 hours.  I would recommend JC Green for anyone looking for any kind of plumbing work and will be using them for all future plumbing needs.  Pics below is the old rusted pipe and the new replaced one.

Jesus and his team did a great job on replacing our sewer pipe from my house to the main.

Jesus came over and gave me a detail explanation what his team could do and what permits we needed. I have contacted several companies before I made the decision. Only two companies shows up but he is the only boss came to meet me. The price of replacing sewer pipe vary basing on a lot of situation.  But his estimate price is same to the final price (extra charges for other stuff -- let me explain to you later)

His proposal is pretty easy to read and understand ( I do not say it is short) once I signed, I had piece of mind to let them handle it.

Our home has another issue on piping, Jesus's team explained to me what is that and what problem it will be in the future. They also gave me suggestion on piping irrigation system.

They are very professional and willing to response. I strongly recommend them.

We had to get our sewer lie replaced.  JC Green Plumbing stayed on time and did exactly what they said they would do.  They backfilled our yard perfectly and were very professional.  I would highly recommend for any plumbing needs.

Honest, reasonable rate, and fixed the problem quickly . The crew came and took care of my leaky underground pipes which were broken by tree root. They put in a camera and found the problem.
They obtained city permit very quickly and fixed my issue. Once done, the work area was cleaned up and patched up. The entire team is honest, hardworking, and very responsive.
I can say, It's been a year, and the problem has been addressed!

I had used JC Green Plumbing for our restrooms clogging problems since 2017. We are a gas station with convenience store in Fremont. Many bad people intentionally sabotage our restrooms. Therefore, I had to call JC Green Plumbing to unclog our sewer pipes several times during the past 5 years. It took less than one hour to solve the drain issue every time. It was not this time. The morning technician used a 100 feet snake. But the drain did not open. In the afternoon, they sent in another crews to do hydro jetter service and cleared the sewer pipe very quickly. After that, the crews used a camera to see the potential issues of our sewer pipe. They will give me a proposal to solve this problem soon. All of their technicians are knowledgeable and efficient. I am very happy about their work. I'll keep using their service in the future.

We had a water hammer problem. After a number of plumbers could not find the issue, we  found a review of JC Green Plumbing where Erik was able to find and fix someones similar issue.

I called JC Green and explained that I had a water hammer issue both in the house and in the sprinkler system. Erik was scheduled to come out and resolve the issues.

JC Green texted me when Erik was on his way and Erik arrived promptly on time. he took care to troubleshoot the problem by isolating various connections in order to isolate the cause. He took his time and was very courteous and professional.

After two hours of troubleshooting the issue, it was isolated to both a shower valve and sprinkler system back flow valve. Replacing the shower valve and removing the sprinkler back flow valve corrected the problem and I now have no sign of water hammer in my system.

I cannot say enough how JC Green (Erik) was able to find and fix the water hammer where many others were unable to even find the cause.  It was professionally handled leaving my wife and myself to refer PC Plumbing to any one else with plumbing issues. JC Green will be our plumbers of choice for future use.

Great company! Had an emergency when our landscaping was being done - got a same day estimate for a new water service main line to be installed.  Got honest answers from the owner, Jesus. He explained our various options and what would work for our budget but still be done correctly and safely. The plumbers came the very next day and had to do work around the current landscaping being done but it all came out great the end. Having a 99 year old house with old piping can cause a lot of problems but Jesus and his team set us up to succeed!

FAST FORWARD 2 WEEKS LATER : our water heater died on us and we immediately called Jesus & JCGP again and they came to our rescue! The guys came out the next day to install the water heater and all is right with the world. Thanks to the team at JCGP!!!

Ramon (I'm very sorry if I did not spell your name right) arrived as scheduled 9-11 unlike other terrible plumbing companies, he showed up on time! He was friendly, knowledgeable and got the work done in a timely manner. Everything's working again and I'm very happy with the work he did.  Ramon's work was nothing short of excellent. When he was done with the work, he left all areas neat and clean and was following safety guidelines from the beginning to the end which we greatly appreciated.

I had a corroded pipe that was leaking under the sink.  Luckily I found JC Green Plumbing.  Cynthia was super easy to work with - she worked throughout the night to help me get the information to plumber and got me an appointment time the next morning!  The plumber arrived on time, was courteous, and wore a mask the entire time.  My pipe setup was a bit complicated and they went out of their way to get me the right part for the job.  I will definitely use them again next time I have plumbing issues!

So happy I found JC Green Plumbing. First time I called was because the shower was clogged. I got an appointment for service the very next day and after the shower drain was cleaned out, plumber cleaned up and left my bathroom just like he found it which I didn't expect, usually plumbers don't care about the mess they make.

A couple of weeks after that the garbage disposal just stopped working out of no where, I called JC Green and spoke to Jesus, he was so professional and super nice. We were able to set up an appointment the very next day. Eric and Humberto arrived at the scheduled time and got straight to work. We recently used JC Green Plumbing for our trenchless sewer lateral work (replacing cast iron with the newer flexible joins) - they were fast, professional, explained everything in advance, and completed on-time and on-estimate! It wasn't an out-of-the-ordinary job, the prepped in the afternoon on a Weds, did all the work on Thurs, had both city/EBMUD inspections plus refilled the concrete by early afternoon on Friday. They filed the paperwork with the city seamlessly, and we received confirmation that we were in compliance (plus a fast return of our large deposit with EBMUD) within a few days. Seriously, 5 stars. Most plumbing contractors (and contractors in general) do what they do, and if you want something even a little bit different, you are out of luck, forgetaboutit. I had a main drain issue--I knew exactly where the problem was, it was only 3 feet in length (less even, it turned out) but involved an old tree. I wanted to save the tree, and thought it was likely possible to do so, but the first two contractors scoffed at the notion, said no way, chop it down. One insisted I replace the whole line, ignoring the fact that the problem was really only the short section. Maybe that was the smart play, but it is not what I wanted.

In my youth I would have just done the job myself, it is just a 4 pipe and only 16 below the ground--I did a harder drain repair in my old house--but I am too old and wimpy now. JC Green came out and seriously considered my request to save the tree. The could not promise me they could do so, but agreed to try, which is all I asked for. Turned out it really wasn't that hard, and few roots had to be cut to replace the pipe (not counting the copious roots IN the pipe) and put in a proper two way cleanout. So the drain is fixed and the tree is saved (probably).  When it is time to replace the whole line (next year or 10 years from now, who knows) I will have them back. They are approved by the Sanitary District in Castro Valley, which I regard as the minimum qualification locally to work on drains.

They were also prompt, courteous and professional.

I found a drain pipe under the kitchen sink had a hole, as well as had a slow back up (little clog) in the main sewage line.
I called JC Green Plumbing early this morning, and Carlos came within the given time frame. He evaluated and needed to purchase the part that was broken. He did not waste anytime and came back less that 30 minutes,  and finished the job, as well tested everything to make sure no leaks and other problems before he left. It was speedy and professional. The price was reasonable and as quoted.

I have to call them back, because it has a very slow leak after Carlos left. They promised me they will be there the next morning between 8:30 - 9:30 am. Carlos came this morning at 8:30 am, and was able to fix the issue within minutes, the gasket was bad (not their fault) .  Problem SOLVED. Scheduled an estimate appointment 2 months ago in early Dec. Emails confirm this. But they never bothered to follow up to give us the estimate. When I wrote to ask about it this weekend, some woman named Cynthia in their office confused me with someone else and quite rudely and incorrectly berated me. The emails show the timeline, so their confusion is unacceptable and shows just how disorganized they are. Terrible service. Would never waste my time with these charlatans again.

Response to owner: Show me this estimate? We never got it. You said you sent it to us and told us? Never happened. It was simply never given. And then to have Cynthia accuse me of emailing you consistently for the last two months? Never happened. You are clearly disorganized.

Also, had you done the bare minimum while you were here, you could have tested the trench drain and quickly and easily assessed that it does not in fact connect to the sewer line. The paper on there was a soggy flyer blown there from a rain storm, not tp. But you clearly don't know your job or basic customer service.

Get your business together. No wonder our favorite plumber left you. You should be embarrassed.

After trying the snake, Carlos showed me how the old pipes were running too level under the house, causing a long term build up that was years in the making. Had facet water pressure issues in both bathroom and kitchen. I called at 7:30 am on Monday and left a message. They called me back an hour later and scheduled a 1-3 pm window. I got the call around 1:00 pm that a technician was in route and he arrived around 2:00 pm. Jorge quickly fixed both issues within 45 minutes (debris in the water line clogging up the flow). I paid the hourly rate on a phone app they have and off they went into the wild blue yonder to assist other non-plumbing people such as I. Very good experience. Setting up the appointment was quick and easy, someone came out the next afternoon after I called. I got notification when they were 15-20 minutes away and the techs were very efficient and friendly. I was very clear that I simply wanted our sewer line snaked because we seem to have an annual problem with it (it's not defective or particularly damaged, it's just old and runs under a large tree). I know the solution is to replace it but that's not doable at the moment. They snaked the line and did a camera inspection, even showed me the exact place above ground where the problem was, and gave quoted more options besides replacement. I didn't feel they were trying to sell me on anything and payment was a very reasonable rate, easy to fulfill. This was my third time calling maintenance to the house myself (the first and second were earlier in the week with a plumber that didn't do much for me and did not communicate well) and the whole experience was very stressful for my anxious little soul, but JC made it as painless as possible and I feel great knowing I've found someone to call in the future.

We had them install two American Standard toilets from their inventory. The installer was on time, very professional, and did a great job. We had an ongoing water hammer issue for years. Every time when the sprinklers stop watering the yards, you could hear water rush back into the house through every pipe in the crawl space. Called a few plumbers to examine the issue, but no luck. We got commands from loose pipes, high water pressure from the city, to just the way old houses are. Since we are remodeling our bathroom, we try to get to the bottom of this. After demolishing the shower to the studs, our contractor could not find the reason for our hammering issue. As the last resort, we called JC Green. I explained our situation to Cynthia, and Erik came over the next day. He spent two hours examining every water value in the house and concluded the shower valve kits were the issue, which was replaced just a few years ago. We had our contractor replaced two new shower valves a few days later, and everything is good. Great work and great people. I have JC Green saved on my phone just in case we have any future plumbing problems. Highly recommended.

I can't speak highly enough about this company. Following major plumbing issues with toilet backing up into shower and doing everything necessary to address the issue, we learned that the problem went all the way into the street and that our old pipe needed to be replaced. From beginning to end,  they took over the entire process, dealing with the city and placing no parking boards on our block days before in preparation to notify neighbors of the upcoming work. They sent a crew of workers who got the entire job done in two days time; quickly, efficiently and neatly and were considerate with keeping us informed throughout it. An honest and hardworking company driven by passion and excellence.

JC Green helped us replace the original clay sewer pipes with modern equipment.  They were the most competitive company and stopped by multiple times to help us understand the project details.  Our project eventually became much more complex, but JC Green worked tirelessly and ensured that the work was done with quality.

Our project became much more challenging because it was almost twice as deep as a regular sewer lateral line.  We did not have a standard Wye connection to the main city line.  At every point, JC Green was creative and professional in the way they addressed these unexpected problems.  Jesus walked me through at every point of the project on what his plan was.  The team worked over 2-3 days to get the problems resolved, and certified by the inspector.

QUICK RESPONSE. We came home from vacation to find a leaky kitchen sink that left a wet funky smell in the house. We checked Yelp for a nearby plumber and JC Green Plumbing was the first to respond.

FRIENDLY. Junior worked diligently while my toddler and dog ran around the house. My dog doesn't like very many strangers, but he did like Junior...and that means a LOT!

HONEST WORK. Junior found the source of the problem, and explained the best and most cost effective solution. He even fixed a problem that we were having with the water pressure. Communication and followup with office was fantastic. Erik the technician did an awesome job and explained the difference between galvanized pipes (my original) in comparison to ABS which I wasn't fond of. He was on time and snaked my pipe. Then cut off some of the old galvanized and replaced with ABS. I will use them again in the near future.  No problems and no outrageous prices as other corporate companies charge! They take cash and credit card. They will email receipt as well. I would recommend JC Green to anyone, you won't be disappointed.

The hardest task in the Bay Area is to find a competent and honest plumber.

Jesus is both kind and competent. He was very responsive and asked good questions​ that helped me be better prepared which saved me time and money!
He sent a dependable and well-skilled associate to install my kitchen faucet. There is nothing worse than a very leaky faucet when you need to get things done.  With that said, there is nothing BETTER than a new fully function beautiful faucet that has a sprayer that extends from the nozzle. Yippee!

I contacted JC Green Plumbing through the Yelp app because of a clogged drain and ended up speaking with Cynthia who scheduled a plumber right away to come to my home on a Saturday afternoon (same day).
Jose was the plumber assigned to the job.  He arrived very fast, within 20 minutes!
Jose was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.  He did an exceptional job in unclogging the pipe and replacing the toilet seals while answering all my questions.
Overall I am extremely satisfied with JC Green Plumbing and would call them again for my plumbing needs.  Fast, friendly, and professional.  I strongly recommend them!

This is our second experience with JC Green and once again we are completely satisfied and impressed. Eduardo N came to the house in the AM after a late pm call to them the night before for help with a backed up kitchen sink.
Eduardo was polite efficient and knew exactly what to do. He even showed me how to maintain our bathroom sinks so that they don't get clogged by the strainer.
The entire bill was less than I expected and we will continue to use JC Green for all our plumbing needs!

I have a sewage pump setup and there was a leak outside my house.  One plumber said it was just rain water however when i added coloring into my sewage basin i notice the color also showed up outside my house.  That's when i called JC Green and Jesus came out the very same day and spent an hour going over and talking to CV Sanitation to find the location of my pipes.  He gave me an estimate and didn't pressure me and willing to answer all my questions.  I moved forward and his guys came the next day and able to dig a trench to find the leak and cap it. Jesus and his crew did a fantastic job to repipe my entire house. The estimate was very reasonable. Jesus was very prompt to respond and he finished the work on the same day as promised. When my brand new water heater didn't work, he was flexible to come the very next day, though it's a weekend, accompanied me to the store to drop the old heater and pickup/install the new one. He also helped me to convince the store why they should take the defected water heater back!

After all the work, his crew did the patching on the dry walls. He had scheduled and finished the inspection promptly. He left the house at a clean state, like how it was before he started the work.

I highly recommend him for all kind of residential plumbing work. I will not hesitate to hire him again.

Don't ever do time and materials with these crooks! They are after your blood!  They literally charged 4X the cost of the materials and $185 labor for 20 minute job. Obviously they wasted a lot of time going back and forth to the truck but the actual work was no more than 20 minutes! Not sure how these people sleep at night.  They take advantage of people who are desperate situation. Very dishonest!

I had issues with my garbage disposal and Carlos over at JC Green Plumbing came to the rescue the same day I called about the problem. He replaced the disposal quickly and JC Green Plumbing has a fair/standard hourly rate for services. They also complied with COVID guidelines while in my house (keeping distance, mask, etc). My parents called a few days later to have their bathroom sink worked on and again, JC Green Plumbing was fast, efficient, courteous and professional. I highly recommend using their services.

I couldn't be happier with JC Green Plumbing.  The hot water pressure was super low and the technician, Carlos, was super helpful, friendly and efficient.  He unclogged the connecting pipe to the water heater and was able to get us back up and running in a timely manner.  Cynthia was super communicative on when he would arrive.  I would recommend this company wholeheartedly!

This is the second time I've called on JC Green Plumbing. In April, Jesus replaced my water supply line from the street to my house and was very careful to preserve the sod and plantings and to place spigots where we needed them. This time around, October, I got in contact again to have two drains unclogged. Junior and Christian came out the very next morning and were super vigilent about clearing the kitchen drain of a bunch of grease and the shower drain of a bunch of hair. The worksite was all clean afterwards!

From the office people to Eric the plumber, I was completely satisfied with the work done fixing the leak from one of our toilets. The office staff member was polite and accommodating.  They called me 30 minutes before Eric arrived to give me a heads up regarding exact arrival time.  Eric was extremely efficient.  He climbed under the house to fish out the problem and took video and photos so he could show me just exactly where the leak was coming from.  He assessed that it was probably the wax ring so he pulled the toilet and, sure enough, the ring was completely corroded. He replaced it then crawled back under the house to video again.  BINGO - that was the problem.  All I had to do was flush the toilet a few times so he could check the problem then check to make sure it was fixed.  This company will now be my new go to plumbing company.  Thank you YELP for your service so that I can find reliable tradesmen to help with things like this.  The reviews convinced me to go with JC Green.

I called JC Green Plumbing on Sunday in hopes I would be able to schedule an appointment for help with my flooding washing machine drain and slow running faucet.  I received a return phone call Monday and guess what?  The plumbers showed up not even two hours later!  Eric and Hector were not only professional and knew what they were doing, they were two of the nicest guys.  They addressed the problems swiftly and explained to me what they were doing.  I'm so happy and impressed with their work that I will add JC Green Plumbing to my contacts in case I ever need plumbing services again.

Updating my rating because they called a couple of days after posting my review, wanted to make it right for me, and wanted to know what it would take to get a 5 star review.

They obviously couldn't come out to clean up because I had already done so.  They first offered a credit on my account, but I told them that I didn't have any work for them in the near future. Not willing to leave it at that, they offered a small refund plus a small credit on my account.  Since I was only billed for one hour of work, I thought that was fair.  They showed me that they really want their customers to be satisfied!

We called two plumbing services to help with a clogged bathroom sink drains, the first Roto hero was eager to schedule and ensured a callback from technician within a hour to get a repair person over, they even texted me to confirm, I thought great! They even had online coupons available for senior discount (15%) or $77 fee for services, unfortunately no call back for two hours with a excuse that they were booked and would need to reschedule when they had a technician available

So we turned to jc green

Great dispatch woman that said they would have a technician be at our house at 8 am the next day , at 7:45 I received a call from Carlos and he arrived on time and fixed two sinks and checked another and repaired the handle of our sink hot water valve in less than a hour although more costly at $150 , we'll worth the money and time, I would recommend jc green to anyone but would hesitate to call roto hero for promoting business that they could not deliver

The customer service is top notch at this company!  They've done small to larger projects at my house for several years now and they are the only plumbing company I call for plumbing repair, maintenance and modifications on a house that is over 70 years old.  Recently I had the main water supply line to the house show evidence of leaking.  I called that afternoon and Romero showed up first thing the next morning to take a look at the problem.  We decided that a replacement of the line was needed.  I was concerned about the unique established plantings as well as how to do the work with a four foot brick retaining wall in place.  Romero addressed my concerns, provided a price and let me know that they could start right away!  The rest of the crew was called in and work was completed by early evening!  This even included some concrete work by them.  I am very pleased with the work at a fair price and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for great work at a fair price.  I also needed the irrigation sprinkler line relocated.  Today Romero gave me a price and I am working with them to schedule the work to be done.  Cynthia is great at the office, providing information and following up when needed.  I  have also received pricing on a sewer lateral replacement as I anticipate selling the house in the future and will have them do that work as well.  This is a great company providing excellent service.

I am thoroughly impressed by the work done by JC Green Plumbing.  Junior (Jesus) was honest, attentive and responsive.  The crew were punctual and hard working.  This is a well-run business.  My old home needed a new Sewer Lateral replacement because the old clay pipes collapsed.  I got numerous plumbing companies come out to give us quotes.  Not only did JC Green submitted one of the lowest quotes, but their proposal was very detail and well-written.  The main sewer was 10 feet deep on the road side, but it was no obstacle for JC Green.  They used an excavator and was able to dig a hole in middle of the road in minutes.  From start to finish, it took JC Green about a day and a half, they were able to install a brand new 100 feet sewer lateral line using 'Trenchless' method.  They did such a great job at back filling the backyard and the road, that it looked untouched.  Highly recommend JC Green Plumbing for any sewer or plumbing work.  

Bonus:  Not related to the Sewer Lateral contract, but one of JC Green crew member noticed that there was a pool of water at the corner of my foundation.   He offered to go into my crawlspace to investigate.  He found out that one of our pipes in the bathroom was leaking water.  If JC Green didn't point out this issue, I cannot imagine the amount of damage this water leak would have caused.  Now this is what I called going above and beyond at the job.  These guys are the best.

So once the shiny experience of buying a home fades, you'll be hit with the realities of repairs. And repairs. And even more repairs! But what's an overwhelmed girl to do? Either put on your DIY boots or build yourself a network of reliable professionals. That's where JC Green Plumbing comes in.

Right off the bat, the level of customer service blows everyone out of the water. Such a contrast with other companies where I was ignored, was told to call again in 2 days, or was brushed off until March. I had a simple request regarding the water heater vent hood but I don't trust myself to tackle it alone just yet. With JC Green, I was able to talk to a tech who gave a reasonable quote and made a same-day appointment. What? No need to wait until March for hot water?

Jesus was on time, friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. The vent hood was fixed in under an hour. He walked me through the repairs and gave me some safety tips, which I appreciated. Very happy with these guys and I definitely recommend for the future. It's the little things that leave a lasting impression.

Jesus is great plumber who listens my wife and I addressed issues and needs. For instance, we did not get enough water volumes/pressures when we run laundry and take a shower downstairs with 3.4 water pipe. You provided outstanding professional solution by installing 1 water copper pipe enabled to provide optimal water volume and resolve this issue and our plumbing needs.

We feel JC Green is worthwhile to hire them and be my plumber:
-JC Green analyzed Re-Pipe vs Re-pairs through cost-effective methods and proposed re-pipe for our home due to the prior extensive amount of correction notices. And JC Green performed great job to satisfy all previous  City correction notices. Great mission completed!

Our kitchen sink was clogged and we couldn't figure out what was wrong despite having cleaned out all the pipes under the sink. JC Green sent over Carlos. He did a fantastic job! He checked the pipes under the crawlspace and inferred that the kitchen pipe running to the main pipe was the problem. Sure enough it was! Carlos swapped out the pipe with the help of Eric in just a couple hours. Beautiful craftsmanship!

And later when I discovered that my garbage disposal had broken somewhere during the unclogging process, Carlos came back to put in a new one.

I'm very happy that Carlos, Eric and JC Green team were there to help! If I could give JC Green Plumbing 6 stars I would.

JC Green Plumbing came highly recommended to me by a relative.  I made an appointment through Cynthia, who scheduled for Jesus to come out and perform an assessment on the problem I had with my kitchen sink.  He determined that the faucet needed replacement, so he removed it and we ended up having to purchase a new faucet that evening.  The next day, Eduardo came out to install it.  Between Cynthia, Jesus and Eduardo, all staff members were extremely professional, courteous and friendly.  Jesus and Eduardo worked quickly, as time was money.  I'm extremely pleased with the work they performed and am happy to recommend them to anyone!

We had a leak in our garage, at our new home in San Leandro, and from what I could tell it was coming from a drain pipe. I called 3 different plumbers (one of which was assigned to us by our home warranty company), and the only one who called us back was JC Green Plumbing (needless to say they were not the ones assigned by our home warranty company though I wish they had been).

These guys are great! They showed up within the specified window of time. They diagnosed the problem fast, and fixed it even faster. Yes, it was a leaky drain pipe. Their rates were very reasonable and the technician was super friendly. If I ever have any pluming needs in the future JC Green Plumbing will by my first call.

I have contacted several companies for sewer lateral before I met Jesus. After I talked to him in the first met, I signed the contract with him right away because I can see he talks honestly and get my trust. He is an honest guy and plans everything ahead (shows you clearly on the phone with photos). Answer every concern you have and keep you posted every day. My 100 ft sewer lateral project went very smooth, passed city inspection in 1 day and complete as it should be. If you have a sewer problem at your house? **NOTE** I am writing this review based solely on the bid and responsiveness of the company, work hasn't been done on the property at this point.

Keeping it short, I am a real estate agent and my clients needed a bid for a home that they are in escrow on in San Leandro.  During the escrow process, timing is really important so I needed to get someone out there ASAP.

I started calling plumbers on a Thursday and after leaving messages with 5-6 different companies, I didn't get a single call back.  Called JC Green on Friday morning, they picked up immediately, checked the schedule and had a plumber out for a bid first thing Monday morning.

Plumber, Jesus, arrived and did a thorough investigation of the home, including a full crawl of the sub area.  Got a clean bid and I was very happy with the responsiveness.  It will be up to my clients if/when they'd like to get the work done but from my perspective, they made a great first impression.

So happy I found JC Green Plumbing! Before this, I had a home warranty and it was horrible using their plumbers. I probably wouldn't have gotten a callback until three or four days later. These guys put in a tankless water heater for me.
Removed the existing tank heater, installed electrical and new inlet line for gas. They did a clean installation, and repaired Sheetrock damage that the electrician caused. All done with permits for a fair price!

We had a badly clogging problem with upstairs bath tub drainage and the first plumber we hired couldn't make it work. So we talked to JC Green and they came up right away. The work was not easy and different tools had to be used, but the result was very satisfactory. Frankly, we were so worried that we couldn't use the bathroom again, at least not for a few weeks...

If you have a plumbing problem, call JC Green. Other plumbers may fail you, they won't. We feel so lucky that we have them in our city!

I think we have found the plumbers we would love to keep going to! We had problems with kitchen sink drainage and a shower where more water was coming from the bath spout instead of shower head. Called JC Green plumbing, received help pretty quickly. Erik arrived promptly, fixed the bathroom situation, diagnosed and did what he could for the kitchen. We called JC Green to tighten up a leaky under-sink trap. (I was out of town, my wife was desperate, and even if I were around, I'm not very good at this stuff). A helpful gentleman came that afternoon to tighten it up - and for a few weeks, everything seemed fine.

Then, leaking returned. It looked (to me) like the same spot. We called JC Green back, a little disappointed. Carlos investigated, investigated, and investigated, and finally called me over to show me what he'd found: a little gasket in my faucet wand had started to fail, and was dripping back down within the faucet. (The trap couplers were tight).

He reassembled everything tightly, pointed me to the (easily replaced) part, and left after 40 minutes of fairly hard work, no charge.

Carlos and his colleagues are hard-working, polite dudes. Thumbs up.

I'm a local property manager and owner. We deal with apartment buildings that are at least 45 years old. A small business. We have had JC Green do our plumbing for years now. We have had all manner of plumbing issues come up over the years. Some of them were really hard emergency situations. JC was always, if humanly possible, there to help us out. We call him for everything from stubborn hair clogs to gas leaks to having raw sewage all over the parking lot and everything in between. If there has ever been a problem with the work, they fix it. And I mean always. Over the years I've given them a whole lot of business. Their prices are fair. We have dealt with other companies but we keep coming back to JC Green because they really stand above, in my opinion, the rest with customer service and making sure the job gets done right. I recently had a positive experience with JC Green Plumbing

About ~ two months ago I had a new water heater installed by another plumbing company.
Immediately after the installation, I had low flow issues at several locations in my home.
This other plumbing company said there was something wrong with my pipes
(They had never displayed this flow problem before?)

She was very nice, professional and helpful fully explaining the likely service and all startup charges if the work needed was typical and usual to resolve.
We booked the appointment for the next day, she said she would call ~ about a half hour before her tech would arrive to examine the problem.

On the day of the work just like clockwork Cynthia called just at a half hour before the arranged time and informed me her tech Eric was on track to arrive in ~ about twenty to thirty minutes.

Eric arrived on time and after I explained the problem, he started examining my water heater connections, several faucets, and some outside valve work.

By cycling some valves outside and cleaning one faucet screen all the proper flow was restored to the home.
Eric was done in less than fifteen minutes.
He was done so fast he called Cynthia and she authorized reducing my service charge TO HALF THE NORMAL SERVICE CHARGE QUOTE.

Excellent work done in replacing the main sewer line (replace sewer lateral connection).  First they came over and inspected our lines due to clogging issues.  And before they started their work, they thoroughly explained the process in fixing our clogging issues.

Had a pleasant experience in dealing with Jesus Huerta (goes by JR).  Very professional to deal with and all I had to do was give them the green light to start and they took care of the rest....didn't have to stress off the other little things involved with getting the job done.  The did the leg work of dealing with the city and permits and the inpection approval with the city after the job was done.  They worked with my schedule and divided the job in two phases to accommodate me.  In regards with price, they were reasonable and they worked with us a bit on that....thanks, appreciate that!

Communicating was a breeze; quick and modern.  Making decisions with them through text allowed me to not disrupt my workflow at work too much.  Imagine getting phone calls all day about decisions to make while at work.  Text was a great option and something I wish more companies would use as an alternate.

Have found my go-to solution for my plumbing needs with this company.

I love finding a great service company at any time, but especially at times of emergency. JC Green Plumbing is one of those.

Our fridge died, all the food spoiled, we put too much stuff down the disposal. The kitchen sink backed up with water filled with shredded spoiled food. Ugly, stinky. We're already living out of coolers here, with no fridge.

Not a good situation. So I tried Yelp to find plumber near me and it gave me some good looking companies. I looked at a few, then put the (hundreds?) of reviews for JC Green in order of newest to oldest.

I think I had to scroll through something like 70 reviews before finding anything less than five stars. So I called them. This was just after four pm on a regular busy weekday/workday.

The woman on the phone was friendly, cooperative, and very helpful. She was direct about pricing, especially there at the end of the regular workday, and I appreciated that. She seemed quite realistic in her projection that it would be close, but that she thought they could get someone here within 45 minutes, before the after-hours five pm pricing witching hour (my words, not hers, and not meant in any mean way). I said OK and hoped for the best.

Eric was here in under 30 minutes, glanced into and under the sink, went outside to the wall under the sink and went to work (fortunately, there was an external clean-out ). In 20 minutes he was done machine-rooting out the drain, all the way out to the beginning of the sewer lateral, about 35-40 feet. Water flowed freely. There was no mess for anyone to clean up, inside or out (he did rinse the outside wall anyway, just in case).

I gladly paid the man and will call JC Green again for some routine maintenance work before our next emergency! And yes, at the unavoidable next emergency, too.

Jesus and his team were amazing. Extremely prompt, showed up exactly at 6 and ready to do the work. We had a plumbing back up issue and had 4 other plumbers who came out. All the others insisted that they needed to remove our toilets, tear down the wall or go on the roof. Jesus came in at 6 and left by 6:30. No nonsense and got the job done. JC Green Plumbing has done an excellent job installing a new water pipe line from the street water meter box to my house.  My water pipe line was leaking, and I am glad to have found JC Green Plumbing for the job.

Jesus is a honest and patient person to work with.  He is very knowledgeable and competent with the works his company are providing.   He explained my repair options and costs, and I felt confident and trust in him and his company.  Pricing is fair.  He and his crew finished the job and cleaned up all the debris.   Thanks Jesus for taking care of my repair problem and worries.

I used JC Plumbing to convert from an electrical to a gas stove. This is something I'd wanted to do for a while, but kept putting off because I didn't want to deal with the upheaval in my kitchen.  Jesus and his staff made the process really easy.  They were prompt to respond, explained everything, took care of the city permit, kept me informed, etc.  Reasonable cost for competent, friendly service! My house needed a complete re-pipe to replace old cast iron pipes. Jesus came out and gave a very detailed and professional estimate. Then he and his crew did the job in one day -- just like they promised. Excellent work, pleasant to work with (Christine in the office is lovely and always available for questions) and clean. They were careful only to break walls they absolutely needed to (and in our case only inside cabinets) and they were clean and respected the property. This is long overdue review. The service was provided back in May 3, 2019. My mom told me that both her washing machine and kitchen sink wasn't draining. She could not do laundry and was washing dishes in the back yard. I called in the morning and spoke to Cynthia. She was said she may not have any opening that day but she'll call me back if she could find someone. She returned my call and was able to get someone over in the afternoon. I forgot the name of the guy who helped me but he was very good and professional.  He first tried snaking the line in our washer drainage but a sharp bend wasn't allowing the snake to go more than a few feet. He had to go to the kitchen sink drainage. At first he was able to get about 30 feet. Still clogged. Tried again to about 40 feet. It was draining better but still slow. Finally going full length did the job and cleaned up and repaired the cut he had to make under the sink. My mom was happy that she could now do her laundry and use the sink. Great job and definitely know who to call and refer to friends and family!  Thanks again!!!

My garbage disposal had a slow leak, so I called JC Green Plumbing. Cynthia the receptionist was very polite and pleasant on the phone and made an appointment for someone to come out within a few days.  The gentleman, Christian, who arrived a few days later was on time, polite, and quickly saw that old my old garbage disposal had seen its last days.  Unfortunately there was a miscommunication about the pice they charge per hour, however it was quickly clarified with a phone call. I could have mis heard them initially on the phone. Regardless, Christian replaced my garbage disposal within an hour and did a great job. Plus, my dogs liked him!

I usually don't write reviews however this service warrants my time. I called looking for a same
day service to fix my clogged toilet. JC Green Plumbing was happy to come out. Jr arrived on time, greeted me and got right to work. Jr explained the process he was going to use to fix my clogged toilet. Jr. discovered that I need a line replacement but unclogged my toilet enough for it to work for the time being. Jr. stated that his company takes pride in resolving the issue that required their services and provided me with a discount as the job was not 100% resolved; even though it was not there fault!!!!!!!!! SIMPLY AMAZING!!! I was not expecting that one bit. Jr also cleaned my bathroom floor with bathroom cleaner after he was done!!! This is the first time I ever had a plumber clean up after themselves (WOW!!!!!) I will definitely be back for future plumbing issues!!!!!!!!!

It's sad that five stars is the highest I can rate these people. Might be the last honest plumbers in town.

Came home late from work to find water everywhere. I can see the leak--water spilling out onto the side of our house, but more vividly I could imagine  the money spilling out of my bank account.

I shut the water main off and told everybody that we were probably going to be without water for a few days

I called JC Green since they're local and had great ratings. Called at 8pm.

Long story short: their tech came out the next morning after they gave me a 10Am -12pm window. I can't imagine faster response time from anyone, let alone a very small two-hour window right after I asked for it.

Jose found and isolated the leak within 20 minutes.

Leak was from the old, under-the-house sprinkler system which we weren't using. They explained in detail about two different cost options, to repair it or simply seal it.

We chose the latter. I didn't go under the house, and I wouldn't have known any better if they had told me that all the pipes had to be replaced, but strangely they gave me the option to simply cap it off.

I don't have an uncle as a plumber, a relative I trust who could tell me the truth, and fix it in the most cost-effective way. But apparently now I do!

Two hours labor, no parts. Crisis ended. I don't think I've ever paid less for a plumber in my life.

Couldn't be more relieved, and couldn't be more delighted! Thank you very much.

Our kitchen sink was clogging up and I hired a another company to fix it. They couldn't figure out the problem and on top of that when they put my sink back together, they did it wrong so then I had a leak. JC Green Plumping was great! Honest, upfront, and affordable. Its hard to find honest and hardworking people for your auto, home related, sewers and electricity needs. When you do find them you better keep their number on speed dial. JC is one of them that I will gladly keep on my phone. He was honest with the estimates. Everything from permits down to each pipes was transparent on the receipt. Theres a saying goes you get what you paid for but with JC you also get great value for the money. He came and finished my sewer lateral within one day and called for inspection the next. I tried getting estimates with seven different companies before I picked JC. Most of them were too expensive or they kept on rescheduling my appointment for the free estimates. Don't waste your time. This afternoon just like 5 or so times in the last 10 years guys from JC Green Plumbing came out to my home to do a repair. The owners son and another employee came out. They were competent kind tradesmen who got the work done. Over the years I have never had a bad experience with Jesus, his son, his daughter or anyone working with them. The owner Jesus has time and time again saved me money and treated with decency and respect. Jesus actually told me what to buy at Home Depot to replace my shower handles. Then he step by step showed me how to do the replacement. I asked him why he was showing something that he could charge me $200 for. He just smiled. He told me I was a homeowner and that I needed to know how to do this. Jesus is a good man and is his son and ever employee who has ever come to my home. JC Green Plumbing has done preventive work like snaking my sewer line. The company has repaired toilets. They have done work on shower, work on the bathtub. I would highly recommend Jesus of JC Green Plumbing for any commercial or residential plumbing job.

After about sixteen years the water heater at my parents house just gave up and we needed a new one.

I didn't know who or what to contact with water heaters until one of my colleagues recommended JC's Green Plumbing since they are local and did a good job with my colleague.  I called them and they inspected the issue, gave us an estimate and did a good job on replacing our water heater. FANTASTIC SERVICE AND COMPETITIVE HOURLY RATES.

My toilets have been clogging on and off for weeks so I called around and decided on using these guys because they had a great hourly rate and were friendly over the phone.

EXCELLENT SERVICE: I was able to get a same day appointment. Due to the nature of my plumbing issue, they offered to come by earlier than we initially scheduled and gave me a courtesy call to check that it would be ok with me if they showed up in the next 15-20min. The technician, Junior, was very punctual and extremely professional. I told him I just had the carpet cleaned so he was very courteous and removed his shoes before coming in. He was able to assess the problem quickly and got straight to work. The upstairs toilet was unclogged with a snake but the downstairs toilet proved to be more tricky. Junior ended up removing the downstairs toilet and running the snake again to clear the clog. After he finished, he told me that the screws bolting in the toilet were worn down and he didn't want the toilet to leak so he replaced the screws before re-cementing the toilet back on. I wasn't charged extra for the screws--what fantastic customer service! He was in and out of here within an hour.

COMPETITIVE PRICING: Their hourly rate for residential customers was very reasonable and the technician was very knowledgeable about what he was doing. He didn't waste any time getting straight to work so I didn't feel like he was trying to maximize the time to charge more. That alone gives me confidence about using these guys again and I would highly recommend them.

My only suggestion for the owner is to have the technicians bring a clean towel just to wipe up the floor of little particles when they are done with the job.

Service man went out last week to clear a plugged bathtub drain, which took about ten minutes. the charge was $150.  When I asked about the usual 30 day warranty in case it backs up again, I was told this Company does not warranty the work.  This is the first time I have ever encountered a drain cleaning Company who does not out warranty their work.  I would not use this Company again.

These guys are some of the best guys you could ever hire to do a job. It would take me way to long to give you the full scoop of what they did for me, so I'll give you the gist, I had a clogged main line in bathroom at the barbershop I own, I called Jesus Jr.  and him and Sr. rushed over. These guys used a combination of a snake, chicken wire, needle nose pliers, and torch to unclog my drain to help me avoid cutting the concrete. To say these guys went above and beyond is an understatement. I've never been more great full to receive a bill. Hire them, you won't be sorry.

JC Green Plumbing has excellent customer service from beginning till end.  Cynthia was very helpful in scheduling appointment and providing quote for my service.  She was kindly notified me that the technicians will be late and called me when they were heading my way.  thanks for providing a very attentive service.

The technicians did a great job in replacing my garbage disposal and removing my old water filtration system. They cleaned up after themselves and hauled away the old parts.  What worth to mention is  a few hours later, JC Green Plumbing was able to send out another technician to help me solving a small leaking issue and he also helped me cleaning up before leaving as well.  He also showed me where the water main located and instructed me how to shut it off in the future if any leaking happens again while waiting for the plumbing services.  This will prevent further damage to the kitchen wooden floor.  

I am happy with their services and will use them again if i ever need future plumbing issues.

I called them because there was a pipe burst due in the front yard and it was messing up all the soil. They were able to make it the next day to come check it out. Originally they gave me an afternoon time window, but they were actually to come sooner. I explained the situation to them and explained my financial situation as well, and they were able to work with me according to how much I wanted to spend and the work that needed to be done.

Trust worthy family owned business!  Our water heater burst and flooded our garage and it was just a nightmare.  JC plumbing were quick to respond and gave a fair quote for repairs.  Jesus explained why, what, timeframe and cost. He also show me how to take care of the new water heater to prolong its life, bonus!  Even though there were quite a few hiccups with the repairs, the quoted price was what I paid. No surprise extra repair/cost! Their price was fair compared with several other plumbers repair quote that I got through yelp.  Overall, I would recommend them and use them again for future plumbing issues.

We have had a problem with our 1961 plumbing that was part of this old house. Carlos from jc green came, looked through the crawl space, and was able to replace it all.  He also got rid of all of the rusted cast iron pipee that were laying on the ground and connected the new pipes off the ground with the house.  This is a real nice touch since we are in an earthquake zone.  He then tested the tub, sink, and toilet and found that between the wall and the crawl space there was another leak.  He fixed all of that and replaced all sorts of bits and pieces.  Carlos wore a mask, was very curious and worked in the crawl space in a very hot day.  When he was finished, it was hard to tell that he had been here at all because he completely cleaned up after his work.  I should also mention that jc green has been to my house many times to fix everything from hot water heater to the lateral.  I will continue being a repeat costumer.

This is long winded but may be worth your time to read if you like saving  money... JC Green plumbing is on time. And they will clear out a clog or bail you out of an emergency plumbing situation for a price. In this respect, I can't fault their basic (but rather expensive) plumbing services which we used twice for a backup issue and camera inspection to the tune of $400... However, they might also try to take you down a rabbit hole if they inspect your sewer with a camera. They were one of five local, licensed plumbing companies we asked to inspect our sewer line via camera when our plumbing continued backing up around the beginning of January 2018. After charging us two times for clearing a blockage, and a third time for running their camera, JC Green showed my husband some footage of roots and a very damaged sewer pipe. The gentleman that scoped the sewer stated (in writing) that our entire sewer pipe needed to be replaced to the street, and wrote a quote for the work (which was a small fortune). My husband and I, not being ones to settle for a single quote or diagnosis in such situations, called a total of four more local, well established plumbing companies to inspect our sewer pipe. We made sure to tell none of them about JC Green's assessment of the situation. Three of the plumbing companies ran their cameras showing us live footage and proof of a structurally sound sewer pipe all the way from our house to where it tied into the city line. These three plumbers showed footage devoid of roots and no damage WHATSOEVER. All three companies corroborated that all we needed a new cleanout connection to connect to the sewer line and each wrote a quote for the cleanout replacement. The fifth and final plumbing company ran a camera and similarly claimed, as JC Green had, that the pipe was damaged and needed to be fully replaced but did not show us tree roots (please note that there are no trees on or near our property). This other plumbing company, which also stated that the sewer pipe needed to be completely replaced was close to $2K less than JC's quote for price reference. Long story short, three honest plumbing companies corroborated a diagnosis that all we needed was a new clean-out which connected with the sewer pipe at the very edge of our house, not an entirely new sewer line. The difference in cost for replacing the clean-out vs. installing a new sewer line was about $5k, based on the average quotes for each. It's been three weeks since having our new clean-out installed for a pittance compared to a newer sewer line installation, and our plumbing is all fixed up now! The work was done by a reputable, local plumbing company which guaranteed its work and materials, in writing, for 7 YEARS!!!. We did not demo our driveway, nor pay close to $10K which would have been the approximate cost in total for city permits, sewer replacement, and a whole new front yard/driveway replacement after excavation for the full sewer replacement JC Green quoted us. Take it from us, even if you're in an emergency situation, get a second, third, or even a fifth opinion! It might save you thousands.

This is long overdue but a couple months ago, we noticed a puddle of water by the water heater. I immediately went online to see what this means. Basically, our water tank was super old and the leak was a warning before the whole thing burst. We immediately drained the tank and my brother referred us to JC Green. They were super responsive throughout the day (which was a huge relief considering it was a Sunday) and sent someone to our home the next day. The tech replaced the water heater within an hour or two. Crisis averted with the help of these folks!

If you are looking for a  great plumbing work for reasonable price!  hit up the guys from JC Green plumbing company! Very professional and reliable. They just installed a gas line for my gas range and they took care of everything for me including city permits. I will definitely use them again in future plumbing job. I really recommend their work.

I had a bathtub drain back up problem and I called JC Green Plumbing on a Monday morning and the guy who answered my call (Jesus H.) shows up at my door within an hour.

He un-clogged and cleared the bathtub drain issue within 30 minutes and I asked him about a potential leaking situation with my toilet. So he helped me replaced the wax ring and re-secure-ed the toilet and applied silicone sealant around the gap.

He is very patience and is willing to give advices and even some DIY tips as initially I was thinking to handle the toilet issue myself.

The work that he did was very detail oriented and sensible. He also wiped clean the floor after the work is done to remove all the water stains and debris.

They charge a reasonable price and I will definitely recommend them to my friends.

Is there such a thing as an honest plumber?  There is if you call JCGreen Plumbing!  Called at 11:00 pm on a Sunday night to leave a message to make an appointment...Jesus himself answered and set me up for the next day when I explained I had no water in the kitchen and a friend tried installing a new faucet but couldn't get the old one out.  Jesus had to cut the old one out, and when I told him I was stressed out, he said don't be stressed, I'll take care of it!  And he did!  He's an old fashioned plumber who won't try to sell you an expensive job you may not need (like another company I called), he just gets the job done at reasonable rates.  It's a family owned and operated company who treated ME like family.  So happy I called.

I normally don't review company on Yelp but the service I received was excellent. I heard of this company, word of mouth from my girlfriend. I didn't really know what to except because I have never had a plumbing issue before and was really worried about the pricing. When I met up with Jesus he was a very friendly stout guy. He knew my financial limitations and quoted me on a price well in my means. He knocked out my clogged pipes super quick. This was my first experience with this kind of service, I'm happy that I had Jesus to guide me through this process, I would recommend it to everyone!

My main water line was backed up, and I went to home depot to rent our a sewer cable to try clear it myself but it was an epic fail.  I called these guys, and they came and quickly took care of business!  The price was very fair and they were easy to work with.  I will call these guys again if I  have to!

Jesus and West are responsive and the only team I will call in the future for my plumbing needs.  I had a clogged kitchen drain and tried calling anyone that would answer.  Well I was upset that no one answered their phone...until I called JC's.  Jesus answered my call for help and showed up on time.  Within a hour of my calling my drain was clear and I was thanking them for their help in my time of need.  And the price was affordable!!!  Please do yourself a favor and call them first!

I called JC Green Plumbing today to help us with a clogged bathroom sink. Cinthia answered the phone right away and was professional, friendly and got us on the schedule for the same day. Eduardo Navarro arrived on time and quickly assessed the situation and got to work to solve the problem. He is knowledgeable, professional, polite and friendly. I called to set up an appointment for an estimate and we arranged an appointment for the following week. They no called/no showed. When I called them to ask what happened, they said I wasn't on their calendar at all. They tried to arrange another appointment but I said no thank you, I prefer a company that is more organized.

Hi!  When dirty water from my washing machine bubbled up into the kitchen sink and the bathtub, I knew I was in trouble.  I did my own troubleshooting of the relative pipes and came to the conclusion that the sewer pipe outside the house was clogged.  I opened the phone book to the plumbing page and found JC's Green Plumbing.  I called and they came to my house in 1 hour.  The figured out the problem and used a terrific giant snake and cleared the sewer line of all kinds of roots.  They were professional, nice, helpful, and they cleaned up everything.  Reasonably priced as well.  An excellent choice.   Thank you, Very Much!!

I called JC Green Plumbing when my tub backed up one morning, which was very stressful.  Jesus came out a few hours later and ran a snake through the pipes, clearing the issue.  JC Green Plumbing had a really fast response time and very reasonable prices.  They were very professional, and they gave me the peace of mind of having the problem fixed without breaking the budget, or adding on questionable services and fees.  I will be calling them again with any plumbing problems I have!

Jesus, Carlos, and everybody on the JC Green Plumbing team has been so professional and hard-working. They're the best of all the different contractors we've had work on our house in San Leandro. We had an emergency drainage situation and ended up having to suddenly replace our sewer lateral. Jesus organized the huge project, including getting all of the proper permission/permits from the City of San Leandro (which is a very picky city to work with), drawing up the plans for diverting traffic, removing and replacing our main sewer line and reconnecting us to the city's main line in the middle of Bancroft Ave. This was a huge project that they did for an excellent price! And the timing was exactly as they said it would be. Immediately after, we had no drainage problems. We will always use JC Green Plumbing whenever we have any plumbing issues. We already have them working on the next project to replace a sink and faucet. They work very diligently and charge a very fair price.

Pretty surprised that I didn't review this place sooner. They helped my company with a bad leaking problem that basically drenched our carpets. We called our usual plumber but they were rude and had us do minor things ourselves (not fun when a meeting is about to start). I ended up calling JC's. Luckily they didn't have any appointments that day and were able to come in right away! Since then (last year), the leaking problem hasn't come back, which is perfect since wet carpet is the hardest to clean. :)

Had two different plumbers from JC Green help us diagnose a sewer line issue we had. Both arrived on time, were professional, courteous, explained what they were doing and got the job done. This is the second time we've used them. The first time was for a clogged shower drain. We will be using them again. Thank you, guys. I needed some re-piping and a new valve for my water heater cold water line at my home, so I decided to call JC's Green Plumbing.  Jesus picked up and said he would be over in 45 mins to get the work done.  He actually showed up in 20 mins, took a look at what needed to be worked on and then started working on it.  He finished in about an hour.  No fuss, no muss!  Now I will be able to enjoy hot water again in my home thanks to Jesus!  I would definitely call him again for future plumbing problems!

I had a water leak under my slab concrete foundation and decided to have Jesus and his crew repipe my entire house to eliminate all the underground piping.  Their estimate was not the lowest and more than I had initially planned to spend, but their quote was in line with other quotes that I had received.  Since the repiping required access into my ceilings and walls, I also decided to have a gas line extended to my kitchen for a gas range and an additional line for a gas dryer in the garage.  Great communication and follow up from Jr. (he even called me while vacationing in Mexico to ensure the permitting process was being handled properly) and Cynthia on the administrative end.  Jesus and his crew of four others were efficient, organized and professional.  You could tell the workers cared about the quality of work they performed.  No shortcuts!  They did a fantastic job and completed the work in one day as promised.  My wife and I are very happy with the quality of work they performed and would definitely recommend JC Green if you need plumbing help (especially if you're looking to repipe).   Thank you Jesus, Jr. and your team!!!

Just had my bathroom sink replaced along with the hot and cold shut off valves. JC Green did an excellent job and at a really reasonable price. I called rescue roofer first and was quoted $1400 to make the repairs in the bathroom plus repair the main shutoff to the house. $550 for the bathroom and $850 for the shutoff. jC Green only charged me $220 for the bathroom work. I didn't even need the main shutoff fixed. Turned out what I thought was the main shutoff was the sprinkler shutoff. The main was lower down under some dirt. The gentleman from JC Green noticed that right away. The other company tried to tell me I would have to have the pipes replaced as well as the shutoff. I'm so glad I went with my instinct and hired JC Green. They were very kind and courteous. They kept me informed on when they would be there and let me know they were running a little behind. Which can happen with plumbing jobs. The gentleman did the work in an efficient manner and even cleaned everything up when he was done. He was kind enough to explain everything along the way as I'm the curious type and I want to know how things work and how to fix them. I'm very impressed with the workmanship and the customer service and would and will recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber.

Jesus is the best plumber in the area. My tenants called me at 11 am, I called J C Plumbing at 2pm and Jesus showed up at 3:30pm fixing the clogging problem immediately. He was very professional and the pricing was great. I'll recommend him 100%.
