I ran into a wonderful employee of McKendree's, Shone,  this morning at a local hardware store.  He was so helpful! He helped me find a few pieces for my DIY project.  If they are this helpful with non-customers, I bet they are even better with their clients! The next time I need a professional, I will be calling McKendree's!

Have used Atlantic Coast Plumbing and Tile many times always with great results.  They are dependable, knowledgeable have an amazing office staff and employees.  I will definitely use them again and highly recommend!

Quick and affordable. Would definitely recommend. I heard water running inside the wall behind my shower. I thought it might be a slab leak. It turned out to be a pinhole in hot water pipe in wall. When I called, they were booked and put me on schedule for later in the day or next day, but then I think it was the owner called back and reassured me he would have someone out the same day. Two gentlemen got right to work and fixed it within the hour. I would definitely recommend them. Quick, friendly, affordable.

We had a shower leak and they came within a couple hours of my calling. Ken was very knowledgable and fixed it in like 30 minutes. Great service!

We have two emergency needs for a plumber of course after hours or weekends -same thing and Bert Normans came thru each time. Thanksgiving day we had another emergency in our pump house and needed a fix and they came right out. It was not going to matter price wise if we had waited until a Friday because that is also considered a holiday in the plumbing world. Let's face it if we could do it we would but plumbers know exactly what to fix and can do it with such speed and accuracy that I think they are worth their fees.
I also used Bert for installing my automatic chicken waterers in my coop and they did a fantastic job. The office does call and followup after your visit to make sure the job was done to your satisfaction and that your pleased. The ladies in the office are awesome and a shout out to Jimmy for always giving great plumbing tips. They also have a monthly plan where you can jump the line of calls / your priority/ if you take the plan and get a yearly discounted plumbing inspection and hot water drainage.

I had a plumbing issue that, although not an emergency, needed to be addressed.  He came the following day and was actually early (after calling ahead of course). He took care of my issue, charged me a very reasonable price, was very professional and courteous, and left zero mess behind.
What more can you ask for?
He's my plumber until further notice.

Ok, this is my experience with this family owned business: perfect!! I know nothing about plumbing, but have used countless contractors on numerous rebab projects over the years in Jacksonville, I always come back to their team. They get the job done : Once!! No need to get them back ever for a redo ....quality costs money, but done right, the long term savings are real! Kudos to your crew he helped us today at 5:00 pm !!

Recently moved into a house in Jacksonville and called David Gray Plumbing due to just lukewarm hot water at almost all faucets in the house.  They sent out a young guy who asked to see the hot water heater.  Showed him the hot water heater which was new and had a David Gray sticker right on it.  The plumber saw that it was a gas water heater and stated that they installed them but didn't service them.  However that wasn't the problem.  Took him into the master bath to witness the Luke warm hot water.  He stated that he doubted that he could get the mixing valve out so he would need to change the entire valve  thus destroying the tile - and by the way they don't do tile work.  It would be over $500 for the valve.  Then we showed him a toilet that wasn't flushing correctly.  He looked into the bowl and saw some surface scratches and stated that the toilet looked like it had been snaked many times and that we should just get a new toilet for around $800.  I told him we would think about it and get back to them.  After paying him $69 he then left but not before trying to sell us on their service plan.

A couple hours later I got a call from another guy at David Gray who was following up because the first guy told him we had some questions about their service plan.   Long story short, I told him we did not have questions about their service plan but we had issues with their plumbing skills.  He said that he was just the membership coordinator and I told him I didn't need a membership coordinator, I needed a plumber!

Then I called a real plumber who came out and discovered that the hot water recirc pump had been removed and whoever did the job just plumbed the returning cold line back into the hot line as it exited the hot water heater, resulting in warm water to the faucets in the house.  He put a ball valve into the line to stop the cold water mixing back into the hot and problem solved.  And the toilet issue - a new flapper!  I will NEVER call David Gray again - for anything.

I'm sorry, I have not posted a post like this before, but as a person who has family and friends who live with handicaps, what I saw tonight was disgusting. There were a ton of open parking spots... why did they have to take one of the two only handicap spots? It infuriates me when people think their convenience  is above those who truly are in need.

Had two prior quotes with other reputable company's a while back and his quote was double that. When I asked what justified the cost, in terms of the labor,  his snarky response was that he didn't need my business and to move on

I contacted Dave Turner as I needed to have a kitchen sink water spout repaired that was leaking at the junction of the sink to the spout. The 'plumber' came over and informed me that it would be cheaper to buy a new spout than to install new one so I went out and bought a new one and called back. They charged me for a new appointment and I made the appointment.

When he returned he installed the Glacier Bay Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet. I had left before he commenced work on the installation as I had another appointment nearby. I left a key with him to lock up and hide.

So when I return...guess what? There is not hot water connected. The detachable sprayer does not detach more that 6 inches. It appears that the counterbalance weight was attached to the hose in the wrong place.

When I went over to complain and schedule another plumber to come over Dave Turner told me that Justin (the original) was free and he could come over now. I responded that I would be a damned fool to have him back. Dave proceeded to raise his voice and inform me that he would call the sheriff were I to use any more profanity. That is when I told him to f**k off and it went bolder than that. I fled the scene before that old disgusting Santa Clause bearded redneck put a bullet into my head.

Do not ever use those fools.

It's like they're operating out of their bedroom closet, sometimes they're there but most of the time they're not. Some disorganized Irish-sounding woman named Theresa can't keep addresses or times or dates straight for her life. We had to have them come out twice just to diagnose the problem correctly, it's simply not worth it. The only plumbing company that is worse in town is AZ Remodeling and Plumbing, mainly because they're shady.
