HISTORY

Established in 2021.
We found there was a need for reliable master handymen for anyone. We realized most handymen charge a very high premium for less than exceptional work. So late 2021 we started W.E. Conduit Handyman services LLC.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

I come from a long line of Chicago based tradesman, foremost plumbers.
I've been the owner/operator of Rob West Plumbing for over 30 years. I 'am a strong proponent of water conservation and pride myself in being environmentally green.
This past year I decided to broaden my plumbing scope and offer my other honed skills in which I have passion.

When other handymen refused to work on my job, Rob stepped up with his crew to get it done. Alex was great when he showed up and got things done quickly.

The pricing is confusing. I was charged an $89 fee to show up which I understood as what would typically be the diagnostic fee and then $125/hr. The guy was here for 20 min, could not actually do the repair, and needed to go do research to see if the parts were available to do the work and I am left with a $214 bill. As an architect who works with construction people on a daily bases, this is not how I have ever seen someone do business. I would say to make sure that they have the capability to do the job and get everything in writing beforehand.

Our door was forced open and the frame was damaged. Al came over and fixed it to where you could barely tell it had been broken. It was quick and reasonably priced. I plan to use this company again for other projects we have.
