Jason did all our lighting in our body shop.
We did not know what lights were needed to give us enough Lumens for painting and he shared a lot of his knowledge to help us choose correctly. As far as price for service, I have yet to find other electricians that give you the best bang for your buck.  Very satisfied.

It was a pleasure dealing with Evrim.  He was clear in his communication and was upfront with whether or not his electrician could resolve our lighting issue.    We needed a porch lighting socket either repaired or replaced.  Sun-e-Solar's rate was fair.  I would recommend their services.  I also plan to use them again for future projects.

It's good to have someone like Danny who lives in the same city who is trustworthy, efficient, and works fast. He enjoys working on projects and takes pride of what he does, his honest and pleasant personality made me feel safe to have him working in the house even for long hours.

It is my pleasure to write a 5 star review for Advance Electrical.  We purchased an older home a few months ago, and quickly noticed some issues with the 100 amp service: circuit breakers tripping frequently, flickering lights, power outages in portions of the house... the kind of stuff that makes you check the batteries in the smoke alarms, you know?

Finally, our garage, living room, kitchen, and bathroom all lost power, and it became apparent that we needed some electrical work.  

I tried the home warranty provided by our seller first, but they were worthless as hen poop on a pump handle (but that's another review.) they found a way to not cover anything, so no love there.

I put up a request for quotes on Yelp, and got three or four responses quickly (aside:  if you're not using Yelp for home improvement bids, you're missing the boat.)

Advance stood out for both its high Yelp ratings, speed of response, and price.  After a phone call with the owner, Robert, he arranged to come to the house for a free inspection and to provide a quote.

Robert showed up on time, took a quick look around, and made the recommendation to upgrade the panel to 200 amp service, and correct some wiring/breaker issues around the house.  

Robert and his crew did an amazing job replacing the panel. These guys worked all day from 8 to about 4, and not only brought our electrical system up to modern times, but corrected all of the code stuff that our home inspection identified.

The following day, the guys came back and added 6 breakers, rewired several parts of the house, added outlets, and corrected all the problems we were experiencing.

To be candid about price, panel replacement and rewiring is not a cheap repair... but Advance saved me thousands of dollars off the next closest price quote.

They don't take credit cards, but I paid on Venmo using my card, so that worked too.

I can't say enough positive things about these guys, and I definitely sleep a lot better knowing my kids won't have to jump out their window in the middle of the night due to an electrical fire. Worth every penny for safety, reliability, and peace of mind.  Thank you Robert and team!

Poor integrity - The owner does not keep his word.
Sadly, I paid the balance prematurely after the final walk through. Expecting, he would only sign off, based on what he knew was to be completed. We did a walk through, but I didnt look behind all furniture, shelves, tables etc.
1adtl  outlet wasnt installed at all in the kitchen. He  sent  out his head eletrician - to install the outlet, who did not run the wires. Left a big hole in the wall.
Little did I know, there were 2 eletrical outlets- they removed and did not replace in the front room. He said nothing. Simply ignored it.
When I brought this to his attention - he stopped accepting my calls. Instead, sheepishly had his office manager notify me he was not coming out, and issued a refund for $300.00 to complete work he did not finish.  I have since hired another company. And will mark this down as a lesson learned. My advice - dont pay until you know it is to your satisfaction and Check references.

They were efficient and reliable to hang art and paint spots on our walls. Thank you for your help!

Lee was quick to respond, super easy to communicate with, showed up on time, fixed a nagging problem we had with some low-voltage landscape lighting and charged a very reasonable rate to do it. Not sure what else you'd want. Definitely recommend.

JA electrical contractors is definitely people will call we have electrical problems with an older house in West LA. Owner the company Johnny Angel consulted with me, no hard sell but  I feel he tried to give me honest insight in terms of how to install  car charging system on the street. Will definitely call back again when we have any electrical problems in our house, reasonably priced and hard-working.  much better  then some of the other incompetent and overpriced electrical contractors we had working on  our house!

Spoke with Ian about the outside house lights triggering the breaker.  He advised me what he thought the problem was and suggested what to do.  I did what he suggested and solved the problem.  Will use this electrician in the future.

After a raving review a few months ago about some great service he did for me, he chose - last week - to set up an appt that (despite reconfirming by phone) he simply did not keep. If you want to CHANCE taking time off from work only to be stood up by someone you are paying for, please - by all means, call him. But if you are serious about getting some serious work done on your house, definitely avoid this business.

My landscape lighting stopped functioning. Jesus from the EV Guys came out and promptly fixed it. Great service, polite and professional. My new electricians!

Had a great experience and highly recommend Luis for all your electrical needs! He was able to fix and issue that i was having with my electrical and showed me the issue that was causing it. He also fixed a non working outlet that i was told that needed new wiring. Looking to upgrade panel in the near future. Thank you!

Raul contacted me, not the other way around, two days ago after posting something on yelp and agreed to meet him at my home for a price estimate that night. I didn't make any other appointments nor did I take any calls. I expressed how important this install was for me and even went out that same night to buy the unit. Needless to say, I didn't even bother to negotiate the price and when he said the price, I just said yes its fine, but again reminded him how vital this instal was and we agreed on a date and time. I contacted him early in the day as in to suggest that he could come earlier, but then he changed the time, and then changed the time once more. All of a sudden his truck wasn't working. I asked him in what area he lived so I could offer a ride or maybe even get him a lyft/uber , which he should have done to begin with, given how important I expressed this install was. I did not hear back from him after that and so gave him the courtesy of letting him know that I was very unsatisfied with how he went about this last minute emergency and that I would be expressing my experience on yelp. I did tell him that I too am a business owner so I understand that life happens, but I just feel that he could have gone about it a completely different way. To make matters worse, in a condescending way at the end he said I had appointments before you, you are not the only client I have! and he felt that he needed to also tell me that he has great reputation with his clients. Raul, your skill set may be  well recognized ( I will never know), but your customers service needs work, especially if you have to tell someone the last few sentences you felt I had to hear.

Eric showed up ON TIME, fully masked, prepared to GO TO WORK.  Had five or six small tasks.  He was efficient in both grasping what I needed (as opposed to just what I wanted), his work was thorough and hi quality, and the products he installed were JUST what I envisioned.  In short, a TERRIFIC experience.

Haim is hands down the best in honesty, quality, creative solutions, and sincerity. Plus he's tremendously skilled!

Teo was great!! We had a drain that needed to snaked and we had a small leak around our window that needed to be sealed and painted. I called teo and he came out and gave us an estimate and was able to come back the same week to do the work. The shower drain took a lot longer than expected because of a stripped nail that was really hard to take off but teo was persistent and was able to get it off.
He was very kind, honest and professional and didn't charge us any more than his original estimate. I would recommend him to anyone that needs some fixing around their house.

Called for a kitchen clog. Yuri responded quickly & was able to come asap. He did his best to fix the issue, but unfortunately I think ours was a deeper issue that required a plumber. I appreciated his honesty. He also installed a latch on the bathroom door. I'm going to keep his number for the future!
