5 stars all the way. This company goes above and beyond to give you good service. And they do.
I called Oran's Electric because I was having some issues in my restaurant.
The first time I called, they came in the same day within hours and fixed the problem.
I was in need of them about two weeks later. I called and they said they were booked and that they will be able to come the next day.
I called another electrician. They came out and looked at everything but were not able to figure out what was wrong and said that the next step would be to do a troubleshoot for $1,850. Um, that one did not happen.
We get a call from Oran's Electric in the evening saying that they can come.
By now I had an idea of what might be causing the electrical issue so I pointed it out.
They said that they were familiar with the unit we had mentioned to them.
They came and fixed the problem and we got out partial outage taken care of. Given, we did suggest or point out where they should look.
But that is all good. With the level of service and knowledge these guys have, I think that they would have been able to figure out what was going on their own.

5 star service from Oran's Electric. I've used this company multiple times. Today I had a Tesla wall charger installed and the service was prompt, professional, informative and courteous. If you want high quality, professional service i highly recommend Oran's Electric.

We got a second EV recently and asked Oran to swap out a single EV charger for 2 EV chargers, upgrading the fuse in the process to allow both cars to charge at once.

Oran's crew (again) did an exemplary job -- they were on time, professional, and went through the installation manuals in meticulous detail to be certain nothing needs to be redone.

The installation was performed rapidly, and the charger installation looks like one you'd see Tesla perform themselves. We are blown away by the quality of the work, not to mention the competitive price.

At this point, I have referred countless EV-owning friends to Oran for his charger installations, and everyone has been very pleased!

The highest recommendation to Oran and Andrew for their recent work at my home. They knew exactly what my issues were with a bad track light fixture, a faulty dimmer in bedroom, and bad light socket in a bathroom wall sconce. They work quick, efficient, and professional. I would not hesitate to call them again.

Fantastic service. Andrew hung a chandelier at my home. It was easy to get an appointment, guy showed up on time and did the job in a very methodical and professional manner. Clearly he has done this before - there wasn't even a spec of dust anywhere when he was done. The job took under 3 hours and the guy was nice and very knowledgeable (how high should this be hung, what is best way to do this, etc). I paid $300 via check - no credit cards.

I called Oran's after dealing with someone on Yelp with many more reviews but in my experience those folks are getting way too many calls and can't handle them... so they put you off and off and off... my new thing is I call the people after the most/top reviewed people. They seem to offer better service. Just FWIW.

This is the second time that I call Oran to do electrical work in my home.  He is licensed, gets there on time, knows what he is doing, and an all around nice person.
This last time, I needed a 220V outlet for my espresso machine.  But before he got around to doing that, I had a problem with my fireplace that was supposed to work with an electric switch. I gave up after spending several hours trying to find out what the heck was wrong with it. Call Oran's electric, he came over and took his multitester and started checking outputs from different wires. In about 15 minutes, he discovered that the fireplace had some safety features that prevented it from lighting if the damper is open, and also, one of the wires to the transformer was disconnected.
Now my fireplace is working and I have a warm feeling.
His fees are really reasonable. Oran is very professional.

Heard about Oran's work on NextDoor so decided to reach out. I've got a remote controlled ceiling fan I installed in our bedroom was acting up, wouldn't turn on every time or when it did not all speeds would run. Also had an exposed outlet in our kitchen for him to look at. Was on time and very communicative. Took a look at the fan and (as I suspected) I had it wired incorrectly. Eventually he got it running and quickly cycled through all fan speeds from HIGH to LOW. Did a nice job covering the exposed outlet too. Super fast and easy. Gave me a discount and charged $200. You can make your own mind up on if that's too steep or not. I knew I did something wrong up there so I ate it. Next day I cycled through my fan speeds and only HIGH was working. Just like the initial problem. I think when we cycled through when he was here it was only slowing down once we clicked off HIGH, not actually shifting speeds. Anyway, a slight inconvenience because I just paid $200 for a fan that still has the same problem. Figured it wouldn't be too hard to get him back out again but the kicker now is he is not returning calls. Not trying to assume he pulled a fast one on us but it feels that way. I also let him know I'll have work for him in the future but not so much now. Not the worst but it may not hurt to keep searching for the right electrician for you.

So glad I found Oran's business via Yelp.  He responded immediately to my call and electric needs for my business and everything was completed today (as I needed it) in a very professional and highly-skilled/experienced manner. Could not ask for more.  Five Stars for sure.

Hey Oran thank you for showing up last week sort took me a while to write a review the work was amazing he came out to see what was wrong in our house 6 lights weren't working we keep replacing the bulbs so we had a breaker issue as well as some wires needed replacing he did the  job Monday and it works great thanks Oran

Oran is a lifesaver! I had an emergency due to a power surge and he came out and fixed it within two hours for significantly less of a charge than the estimate I received from Powell Electric. He's professional, courteous and the only person I will call from now on for any electrical needs :) Thanks Oran and Andrew!

Oran was super responsive and quick to get the job done. He knew what he was doing and gave me an accurate timetable, almost down to the minute. Recommended.

Last night I had a problem with a blown circuit, sound of buzzing, and burnt smell coming from my bathroom light. I called in the morning to ask someone to come out and take a look at it and received a same-day appointment for early in the afternoon.

The electrician arrived promptly, was courteous, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He discovered that the problem was an old light fixture with burned bulbs and removed it. He also tested all the other lights and switches completely to make sure it was safe.

The service was fast, trust-worthy, and affordable. I would definitely use Orans Electric again and recommend them to others

Oran just came by on Xmas eve to do an emergency repair on my circuit breaker. He showed up promptly, and was super helpful. I have a tendency to be curious about repairs that I don't know much about and he was happy to show me what he was doing. Very patient! He knocked out the repair and showed me some other stuff about the wiring in my house. We'll definitely be calling again for the next one.

I just moved into a new home. Wanted to add a few recess lights and to hang up some chandeliers. Oran came on time. Got the work done. Cleaned up after he was finished and was very professional. Would definitely recommend him!

Amazing guy! Called him in a panic because our store lost power. He troubleshooted via FaceTime within minutes. To top it off, he didn't charge me anything because he said it was a quick fix. We need more people like this in the world.

I needed a replacement for a touch dimmer for my bookshelf. I was quoted $250 for the job. I thought that was steep, but I figured that an amazing job would be done and I could start using my bookshelf lights again. When I came home after work to check on the job, the beautiful touch dimmer was gone (although non-functional I didn't really expect them to take it) and it was replaced by a cheap slider switch. Not only that, they plugged it into the wall with an adapter that made it impossible for the bookshelf to be flush against the wall. Quite an ugly job that looked like it took a maximum of 15 minutes to do. So... $250 for 15 minutes of work that resulted in a complete downgrade? Yikes. Not what I signed up for. Should have just bought a new bookshelf with that $250!

I recently had a large plumbing job completed at my home - creating a second washer/dryer hookup to the city sewer system & building an enclosure for the appliances.  I needed to install GFCI electrical outlets to comply with code.  I phoned Oran's Electric & a same-day appointment was made.  An experienced, knowledgeable technician showed up on time & completed the job in a little over an hour.  I have very little electrical knowledge & the technician explained everything he was doing....and why he was doing it during the job.

This was part of the work  the original plumbers were supposed to complete, but their estimate was DOUBLE what Oran's Electric quoted me.  I will definitely be contacting Oran's Electric for future work.

This is based off customer service, and it's very hard these days to find people with good customer service skills. I needed a quote done fast as we were getting close to the close of escrow. Oran had a technician out that day to let us know we were good. He also sent over a quote re assuring so we had documentation that we were good to go. Thank you Oran for having good quality customer service and quick response time!

I'm definitely a fan. After trying to get a hold of an electrician for months and getting nowhere fast, on Friday I called the Oran's Electric and talked to Oran about my small project.

The following Tuesday morning, Oran came out, estimated the cost of my project, and was able to start right away. He promptly installed my two new outdoor outlets. Oran was great - I trusted him enough to leave for work while he was still here. Upon my return found he'd also replaced some outlet covers in the kitchen and tightened another junction box. He locked up the house and left everything clean and orderly.

No surprise on the cost - same as the phone estimate.

I need to wire/install 3 outside porch lights and remove old wire/tube. Definitely will use the Oran's Electric for that also.

Highly recommended, saw Oran's reviewss here on Yelp, decided to give him a try, called him and within a couple of hours he came over figured out the issue quickly, and he solved it right away. Got his contact info saved for next time.

My double oven stopped working. The appliance person said the oven was fine, but there was a problem with the wiring behind it. I called several electricians--some never called back, one asked me a lot of silly questions making it clear he didn't want the job, and one said he didn't have the equipment to support the oven when they pulled it out. Finally I called Oran and got someone out promptly. Alfonzo kept checking various components to be sure where the problem was. Then he called Oran, as he needed a second person to do the job, who came out quickly. They fixed it. And they charged a reasonable fee.

Oran is seriously the best. He came over in minutes after I called.  I had two lights that needed to be mounted and the wires needed to run through the walls.  He was fast, accurate and didn't leave anything around.  He eve brought a vacuum cleaner and swiped my credit card and then emailed me the receipt.  2 years later still works.  This is the second time using him and can't say enough about his quality and commitment for excellence.  Thank you Oran!!!

Five stars!! Oran's Electric just left my house. I had a light flickering in my garage, and a set of landscaping lights on the fritz. The electrician was efficient and honest and let me know that the problem with the landscaping lights were waterlogged bulbs from the sprinklers, and that the fixture in the garage just needed to be replaced. I'll contact them again when I'm ready to do the replacement in the garage, and for all my future electrical needs. I'm so happy to have finally found a great electrician in the Valley!

Oran was awesome! Came out right away to service our electric outage. Explained in detail how to maintain a proper electric current through out our home. He also gave suggestions on appropriate wattage for electric devices in the home such as coffee makers, blow dryers, and cable connections. My husband and I highly recommend him to anyone in urgent need of a good, reliable, and resourceful electrician.

Terrible job and customer service!
Oran provided an estimate, then added other fees later if you don't pay attention.  They don't care about when the job needs done.  You're at their mercy on whenever they want to show up, as if they do it for free.
Oran can lie with a straight face and a smile.  If you go with him, ask to put everything in writing!  sounds simple but many of us don't take it serious enough when dealing with these contractors, specially when they're a family business in this case.
Also beware, do NOT pay them in full UNTIL you are completely satisfied.  These guys never answered nor returned my calls as soon as they got their full payment!
Lastly, the job quality is absolutely subpar, non-professional.  They're like those scammers on craigslist.  If you don't insist on quality, safety and complete satisfaction, they would tell you not to worry, give it a few days, we'll come back, etc. and they will never do.  These are a bunch of kids who dropped out of high school.  They have no integrity nor the experience to do a job right.  Don't save a few bucks and be sorry.

After a raving review a few months ago about some great service he did for me, he chose - last week - to set up an appt that (despite reconfirming by phone) he simply did not keep. If you want to CHANCE taking time off from work only to be stood up by someone you are paying for, please - by all means, call him. But if you are serious about getting some serious work done on your house, definitely avoid this business.

I had a fantastic experience with Oran.  Dealing with earthquake damage in one home to a renter's electrical problems... Oran saved the day!  He was able to give me a quick quote over the phone, get over to the place within hours, and fix the problems all in one day.  Other places I called were giving me unreasonable quotes, couldn't go there today, and would not be able to fix within a few hours but would take half a day!  I am extremely pleased with the service I got from Oran and his team.  They were professional, courteous, and honest.  Thank you Oran!!!  It's hard finding good people, and I am happy to have found you. I will definitely use you guys again!
