Excellent work and service at a great price! We had several projects around the house that we had wanted to do forever but hadn't because we didn't have an electrician we trusted. Cable Guru's quote was literally thousands less than others and he didn't disappoint. We ended up installing outdoor landscaping lighting in the front and backyard, a 50 amp car charger, overhead outdoor lighting, and adding additional outlets in our garage. He was super flexible and accommodating our project as our needs changed, whether it meant picking up additional supplies or adjusting the location or configuration of lights . The final result is excellent (he even wiped and polished our lights when he was done). We won't hesitate to call Cable Guru again.

I called all the top Yelp electricians in my area. The business owner is friendly. I felt comfortable letting them work in my home with my girlfriend home alone. I couldn't say the same for other electrician companies.
It's been a few months since they installed outlets & everything is working well so far.

Wow!! From start to finish we had a wonderful experience with Gal and his team. Our walkthrough of our home was in depth and not rushed, Gal (the owner) listened to all of our needs/wants and suggested things as needed. The job was completed on time and beautifully.  His team is courteous, hard working, and knowledgeable. He will be our go to electrician for all jobs moving forward.

The service from Chingis was punctual, thorough, the most affordable in town, and essentially perfect. Initially, I believed that my home only needed a replacement for one dimmer switch and a reattachment of one loose faucet. However, I asked Chingis to inspect the entire plumbing system of my home and he found a pipe leak that we had not known about for months. He fixed all the plumbing issues, recaulked the whole area around all our sinks, and completed several other house tasks that I had needed done for awhile. He also left the house very clean after finishing the work. All in all, I would recommend General Home Renovation as the best option for anyone in South OC who needs a prompt & top-notch quality handyman.

Called on Friday and they came out Sunday.  Best price I found and flexible schedule. Installers were friendly and quick. Quality work mounting a 50in LCD in my living room. My movers accidentally put my old mount in storage so they brought over a new mount for a great price. Would definitely recommend.

I had a small job to convert a 220 outlet back to 110 after converting the range to gas. I had a hard time getting a hold of an electrician to do the job and found Jason on Yelp. He promptly returned my call, and stopped by later that day to figure what materials he would need, and give me an estimate. He returned the next evening and charged a reasonable rate. I was very happy with the prompt and courteous service. I've found a new electrician. Thanks Jason.

If I could give -0 Stars I would.  We spent thousands of dollars when we first moved in a few months ago and now they won't back up their work.  This is after many phone calls.  The front office person Christine is inefficient, does not communicate well, one does not know if she was lying or the staff was not responsivel,    PLEASE SPEND YOUR MONEY AND FIND ANOTHER ELECTRIC COMPANY.  Too bad but all good things must come to an end.

Bobby responds quickly and is upfront with his pricing. He showed up on time with a helper. They worked quickly and well together when needed. Although my electrical needs were simple I'm glad they were able to put me on the schedule so quickly. Thank you guys.

I worked with Nick via phone. He answered right away, came out to the property right away, and gave me pricing right away. He also was very thorough in detailing what was wrong and what needed to be done. He promised my property would pass inspection. He started the job right away and finished over the course of 2 days.

This electrical issue I had was that the garage had exposed wires hanging everywhere. There was also an extra box installed illegally. Nick removed the box, made sure there weren't any ghost switches, and covered up the wire with tubing or drywall.

And......

I passed inspection!

This guy is flat out rude and very poor at business etiquette.

The guy would not come out to give me an estimate.
He kept telling me to send pictures of this, videos of that, and when I did it was I need another one. That's why I asked for an IN PERSON ESTIMATE.
When I told him I was no longer home, he told
Me to send it later. Like I won't be making dinner, carding for children, homework ect.    

I've never dealt with a business person who was so arrogant and demanding. Due to his conduct, I thanked him for his time and said I do not feel we are a good fit.

Then he went Karen on me sending me a message on Yelp because I told him I didn't want to work with him.  

Thank God I listened to my gut! What a mess he would have been to deal with.

Great communication with Ariel, he came same day to assess and provide estimate, next day his crew installed surge protector, outlet and a few new breakers. Was quick and smooth experience. Will hire again.

I highly recommend Omega Electric. My house lost power due to a faulty main breaker, and I needed a fast response as I work from home. Oscar was able to make a house visit within 2 hours, even considering heavy rain that day, and quickly resolved the issue and was extremely courteous and professional. I will definitely call again next time for any electrician requests.

I hired Omega Electrical to fix heater in one of my rental properties. Nelson responded me with reasonable quote very very quickly. And the communication with him was just so easy, which saved me a lot time to shop around. Eventually he came and finished job in Sunday morning since my tenants were not home during weekdays. I would recommend them and save their contact for future.

George is a life saver!!!! I made a huge mistake and was running a portable AC Unit, my tv, and a couple of other things plugged in when I decided to use my blow-dryer. I got about 2 mins of usage and then everything completely went out! I had no clue on how I was going to get this fixed and was concerned because of how hot it was getting in my home. Within minutes of closing, I decided to call AM& G in the hopes that they would hopefully have time to come sometime the next day.
George not only told me that he would be able to help but that he would even come to my home at this moment! He was a huge help and able to solve my problem! I highly recommend his services and will now consider him my go to electrician as well as recommend to family and friends.
Love my city of Whittier and great to know we have people like George in this community to help and give that excellent service!

My West LA condo building is managed by Vines Management (now acquired by LB Property Management), who chose Mike Castro at South Bay Electric as our building's electrician over 10 years ago.  We've used Mike multiple times.  He installed exterior motion sensor safety lighting around the building, repaired exhaust fans in our corridors, and repaired fluorescent fixtures in our garage.  Thankfully, we don't have an excessive number of electrical problems so we don't have to call Mike a lot, but he's been reliable, pleasant, and professional every time.  He always makes time for our needs.
