Highly recommend Raul and his team (esp Benjamin) for their fast and prompt response and excellent service in fixing my problem. We have a outlet that kinda lost power occasionally. It's hard for me to pinpoint what exactly go wrong before we lost power.

I always looking for a reliable electrician in the neighborhood (well, we all need one). Glad to find this shop on Yelp here.

I started a project on Yelp on Tuesday night around 8:30pm, and Raul is one of the first one responding within minutes. Pricing is competitive and after carefully reading though all reviews through Yelp. I am very happy to move forward with them.

Raul was able to fit me in at a 9am appointment the next morning. The technician Benjamin came right on time (spot on, that is a rare in this industry). Benjamin is kind, knowledgeable and easy to talk/work with. And he helped to fix our funny problematic outlet and breaker in no time at all. We are very happy about the professionalism that Benjamin demonstrated throughout the process. He carefully explained everything to my husband and check our other system as well. And their pricing is very competitive around town.

I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a reliable and reasonable electrician around town. From what I saw in their profile, they also work on EV charging plug and solar panel related as well. Definitely something for me to remember when I move down that two paths.

Jose Raul and Abraham were extremely professional and helped us take out a sub panel, rewired everything to the upgraded main panel, and made an outlet for us above the fireplace.

They arrived promptly at 8am and finished their job at 5pm. Jose Raul was very thorough prior to coming: he sent us an estimate, a contract, and explained everything to us. I needed a 40amp 240V outlet in my garage for an EV charger. Raul was one of the first to respond and with a very reasonable price. He visited once and confirmed the original quote. He came by later and did the work relatively quickly. He was professional and courteous in every interaction. He was punctual and patiently answered all my questions. I decided to install solar panels but needed to upgrade the main panel first. I had multiple quotes but Raul Tostado from Photonics was very responsive with all the questions that I had. Photonics was not the cheapest one but their price was definitely very competitive in comparison with the other quotes.

The thing that impressed me the most about Raul Tostado and his assistant, Abraham, were their promptness. After signing the contract, they arrived on time on the day of the main panel replacement. They told me it would take at least 6 to 8 hours to complete the project and I would be without power for at least 6 hours. They started at 7:00am and before noon, we got our power back.

The storm we had in SoCal left the city of LA in a power outage and luckily enough if you can say that, it only took out some parts of my house, so I had no electricity and after calling various qualified technicians I found this company. These guys are awesome!!! Best price, good work, professional and great at communicating.  Easy text communication and email.  They answered all my questions fast and was friendly.  They had to tear out the old electrical panel to put in a new one and even somehow repaired the house back seamlessly and with the same paint color.  I have no idea how they did that but I was very impressed.  They have a professional looking van and they did a good job!  Edison approved and city approved.  They even helped run electrical for us for air conditioning and all of it works well and is very integrated.  Thanks!

I contacted Raul to replace a difficult to reach doorbell transformer and some smart light switches. Raul and his assistant did an amazing job at my house which was built in 1915 and posed several challenges due to the plaster and lathe walls and the narrow crawl space access.  Raul arrived right on time and worked straight through the project which took about 4 hours to complete (rewiring 5 outlets + upgrading an additional 4 outlets + installing a new circuit).  Raul and his assistant really do expert work and are extremely conscientious and cleaned up all the areas they worked on.  Photonics is the best!

Had Raul install my 8 camera Swann security system for my warehouse.  From coming to give me an estimate to actually finishing the job, everything went sooooo smooth. He said he would come at 8 to start the install and he actually came at 8. Install went flawless, cable management was on point, and even went through every single camera angle with me until I was satisfied. Wouldn't hesitate to call him again for anything electric/IT and you shouldn't either.

On time and very professional. Answered questions prior to getting started. Estimate was quick and nice. Dude knows his way around the electric panels. Gave suggestions but did not try to up sell services. Even removed an old plug no longer working and covered it up.
I had a Nema 10-30 outlet installed in my garage for my Model 3 as I was sick of using the 110 all the time and super charging. Makes a world of difference charging at 22 miles per hour.

I have lived in my home for 15 years.  I've hired four electricians to try to fix my electrical problems.  Each one failed to solve my electrical problems which eventually resulted in a fire in my control panel.  I hired another electrician to get a new panel but that was done poorly.  
Finally, I got a referral to try Phototronics electric.  He had to redo every past attempts to solve my electrical problems.  He had to redo every outside electrical outlet.
He did a new panel with the correct permit and re-stuccoed the house and painted and it looked like new.  
This company is professional, prompt and do exceptional work.  I highly recommend Photronics and am so relieved that I finally  found an electrician that dies outstanding work and dies it in a timely manner

Jose, was fast and responsive. I would recommend him for any electric needs. I bought a new Tesla and needed a new outlet installed. He was vary informative and knew his stuff. From start to finished, professional and work was clean and fast! Top it off he was vary affordable I had a budget and he made it work was blown away.

I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment the same day.  Raul was very knowledgeable and friendly.  None of the outlets in our living were working.  Raul diagnosed the problem and fixed it.  We also had a 3-way light switch that was acting strange and again he figured out the problem and had the parts in his truck.  He noticed some of the circuits in our main board were not wired properly- which I believe.  We live in an old house and a lot of strange things have been fine in the past.  He fixed that too.  His price was very reasonable.  I will definitely call him again.

Raul and his team were great! From the beginning, they clearly explained their process fro estimate to city inspection. Their estimate was in the middle range, but their professional ethics and knowledge mattered compared to their companies I contacted (3 total estimates). They managed all of the permit paperwork with the city, arrived early on the day of the project, completed the project in one day, followed  up with the city to coordinate inspection. On the day of the city inspection, they arrived early again, and guided the inspector through their work! High quality work, reliable, and project cost stayed on budget. I look forward to hiring them again for our next project.

Installed a new line from panel to surge-protected outlet.  Raul and his assistant Abraham were quick and efficient.  I appreciated Raul's attention to detail, even leveling the outlet. Yes, I notice those things. Apparently Raul the Engineer does as well.  Will do business with again!

I have spent much time watching Youtube and then tried to fix the GFCI power outlet failure myself, but with little success. Jose came and identified an old switch in the power panel that can cause intermittent connection issue. He replaced it with a new switch and all working great now.

We needed to relocate our outlet for our Tesla on the left side of our garage. We expressed our concerns and after the install he helped mount our Tesla Mobile charger even though he really didn't need to.  We will be  hiring him again when we the time comes to install a dedicated line for a mini split ac for  the guest house.

I wish every contractor was like Raul. He's easy to communicate with, punctual, does great work, pays attention to details, and is super knowledgeable. He installed a Nema 14-50 outlet, replaced 3 ceiling lights, installed 8 GFCI outlets, and replaced some old two-pronged outlets. He was efficient, thorough, and responsive and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him for any electrical work.

Raul is great. He came to help me with what turned out to be a really simple issue and is really knowledgeable and honest. I then had him install an outlet and interlock so I can power my house with a generator in case of blackouts. I will definitely use him again in the future for when I need an EV outlet installed and other issues.

Raul is a wizard! Loved the fact that he took social distancing seriously and showed up in a mask. He's also a super friendly guy! I had an electrical outlet that needed replacing and that one outlet affected all of the power in two of my bedrooms. I was stuck and Raul really came through with a quick and efficient solution. He analyzed my problem, solved it, and we completed the transaction in about 30 minutes. It was an overall great experience and I can't give Raul enough praise!

Raul is a licensed electrician who came highly recommended.  He was always on time, communicated well, and provided a reasonable estimate for our electrical problems.  

Raul moved eight circuits from our old sub panel to our newer main panel and added a new grounding system. One circuit was intermittently not working but he was able to find and fix the problem in one of the junction boxes. He also added a new circuit with a new outlet receptacle for our microwave. Furthermore, he went through the attic and made sure that our electrical system is in order and put covers over all exposed junction boxes.  Finally, he went out of his way to replace an inadequate outlet, which was recently installed by another contractor, with a GFCI outlet for our new tankless water heater.

Raul is a very capable electrician with amazing work ethic. He did things right and guarantees his work. Everything is working well and we are happy to have found our electrician.

Arrived on time, quick work, and a good price for a simple job.  I needed an extra outdoor outlet.  This isn't too complicated, but others were quoting a half day work and all that.  Jose came, knocked it out in an hour and a half, and gave me a fair price.  Next time I have some light electrical work, I'll be sure to let him know.

We consulted with many electricians but Raul really knows his stuff! He was always on time and very easy to work with. Our house needed new decora and recessed lighting throughout the house, which he was kind enough to complete in two rounds. He set up the electrical work after our demolition and then we asked him to come back to install decora and finishing touches after patch and paint so that nothing got damaged. He never left a mess and wore a mask and shoe booties provided by us in our home. We would definitely use him again in the future and have already recommended him to two other friends people!

Had the great pleasure of meeting Jose. I'd first like to point out that he is punctual! I had a busy schedule, so I truly appreciated that. Anyhow, my sump pump at home was tripping an outlet every time I plugged it in. He checked into everything, and found that it was a very simple issue in that there were two plugs from the pump that needed to be plugged in together to prevent it from tripping. They got separated after some work was done in that area. Ugh, duh!

He also did quick tests on each of the outlets I thought I had issues with. All was ok but just told me to keep an eye on the outlet over the coming days where the sump pump is plugged in to make sure. He didn't charge to come out, as he can come out and give free estimates. Nice! I will definitely be calling him again for a couple of things I will soon need to get replaced, and any other of my electrical needs in the future.

We've had Raul complete two projects now, and if we ever need more electrical work done at home, we will definitely ask him again.  Raul responds quickly - both in giving an estimate and in getting the actual work done.  Our first job was to get an extra outlet in the garage for charging our hybrid.  We also hired him to replace three circuits in the older part of the house.  Raul explained everything carefully both before and after completing the job, and he got it done efficiently and cleanly -- all while socially distanced and masked up!  Thank you, Raul!

Raul contacted me, not the other way around, two days ago after posting something on yelp and agreed to meet him at my home for a price estimate that night. I didn't make any other appointments nor did I take any calls. I expressed how important this install was for me and even went out that same night to buy the unit. Needless to say, I didn't even bother to negotiate the price and when he said the price, I just said yes its fine, but again reminded him how vital this instal was and we agreed on a date and time. I contacted him early in the day as in to suggest that he could come earlier, but then he changed the time, and then changed the time once more. All of a sudden his truck wasn't working. I asked him in what area he lived so I could offer a ride or maybe even get him a lyft/uber , which he should have done to begin with, given how important I expressed this install was. I did not hear back from him after that and so gave him the courtesy of letting him know that I was very unsatisfied with how he went about this last minute emergency and that I would be expressing my experience on yelp. I did tell him that I too am a business owner so I understand that life happens, but I just feel that he could have gone about it a completely different way. To make matters worse, in a condescending way at the end he said I had appointments before you, you are not the only client I have! and he felt that he needed to also tell me that he has great reputation with his clients. Raul, your skill set may be  well recognized ( I will never know), but your customers service needs work, especially if you have to tell someone the last few sentences you felt I had to hear.

Raul was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive when coordinating my need to convert a total of 20 4-pin CFL lights all over my home to LED. He worked expertly, meticulously and cleanly by himself to get the job done. I am very happy with the results and would definitely recommend him to friends.

We had 3 light fixtures to install and in less than 40 minutes all were installed and tested - one of them was above a 20+ foot stairway and another needed a box installed. Overall, great service and would definitely recommend!
