We had a great experience working with E & J.  We are very satisfied with a recent experience working with them and will contact them again for future electrical projects.

They installed an electrical receptacle in the garage for this project,

E&J valley Services we're hired to re wire my entire home, converting it from Knob and Tube to ROMEX a more up to date Wiring Product. Also adding recessed lighting and ceiling fans. They did an excellent job!

I would definitely utilize their services again and would recommend them to anyone looking to use them for your projects.

I had some electrical safety concerns regarding my breaker panel in my home.  One person quoted me $600 to replace it, without even confirming if there was an issue. I'm sorry, I don't do business with dishonest people.

E&J Valley services responded asking for my phone number so we can discuss the issue. I got a phone call the next day and I was able to explain my concerns in more detail. They listened and went over different possible scenarios , but ensured me that they could not confirm anything without coming out to look. I agreed to their service call fee, which is totally reasonable per hour. There was a couple of things I wanted their expert opinion on - so it all worked out.
They were accommodating to my schedule, which is a big deal since I work full-time !
I am very happy with their punctualness and professionalism. They are friendly and down to earth, explaining all the answers to my questions no matter how silly they might have sounded. My breaker panel only needed a breaker switch to be replaced. They had this on the truck and it was done in no time. I also had an outlet that was not working, but I just could not figure out for the life of me. They opened it up and found the problem and fixed it in no time. Honest, hard working guys that keep it real - that's rare these days , and I can def respect that.

I also got a quote to replace a fixture , best quote I received out of a few and will call them back in the future to do the job when I'm ready.

They also do plumbing, which I think is pretty awesome. I hope I don't have any plumbing issues but if I do, I'll probably give them a call first.

Requested a quote on Sunday and received a call from Jose within an hour. I was having some electrical issues in our home and he took the time to walk me through a few steps to try on my own. When I wasn't able to resolve the issue on my own, he was able to come the following morning to fix the issue.

I have had theses guys come out for two jobs already. Great quality work at a competitive price. Both guys are extremely professional and I would recommend to anyone looking to get any electrical or plumbing work done.

E&J Valley Services responded to my quote request within minutes and came out the next day to fix a leaking corroded pipe. They worked efficiently and did a great job repairing a pipe and manifold in a very tight space with reasonable pricing. I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family.

I did not give the guys a review when they came out and replaced at least 38 outlets and added 3 GFCIs so I am posting one now.  Every outlet is working great.  Especially the one in the kitchen that the refrigerator kept tripping.  Will reach out to you in May to install ceiling fans.  Thank you Jose and Eric.

Jose & Co-worker were both very polite, professional & experienced.  They completed the Job of wiring & installing a dedicated circuit & receptical on my rear deck.  It required that one of them go under the house to run the power to the back while the other worked on the panel from the garage.  Everything was tidy & clean when they left!   GREAT JOB and two very nice guys!  Hank

Installed a 14-50 outlet in the garage. Jose was responsive and price was half the other estimates from other contractors. They even accommodated to my request of installing a Ring floodlights for a small additional fee. I would work with them again and recommend to everyone as well.

Owners offered us great service without charging us high prices. We needed some of our outlets required, and they were able to get it done as soon as possible. 10/10 do recommend.

After the turds that AHS sent out this place was a breath of fresh air. Lowest quote. Came out next day. Fixed the problem in 25 minutes. Great work!

I requested for the service in January - Jose called me and got an appointment on the same day. I was happy about that. My original request was for the electrical inspection because I was doubting that there may be other underlying issues that burnt 2 of the receptacles at my condo.

Jose didn't find any fault in my circuit breaker and diagnosed that it was because the burnt receptacles are not aluminum rated and that my tenant was using way too much electricity. So, he replaced both of them with aluminum rated outlets within about half an hour for $620 + 3% credit card fee. I felt it was pretty expensive but he explained that it was mainly because of how messy it was for him to clean it up.

He offered to come back for an additional inspection of the rest of the outlets for a cheaper price. He said he wasn't able to inspect the rest that day because of how messy my condo was. I didn't feel like it was a professional comment to make.

Well...another 2 receptacles stopped working the very next day.

I ended up calling another company and they educated me about everything in details. I ended up requesting to add dedicated circuits for the microwave and fridge. Now, there's no more problem!

I wish Jose diagnosed the underlying problem instead of making the quick money on just replacing the receptacles.

The guys at E&G Valley Services were quick to respond to my call, they are personable, they completed the job quickly, they didn't leave a mess and they gave me a reasonable estimate.

I refer them to my friends and family and I will definitely call them for my next project.

Jose and the EJ plumbing services were phenomenal.  They absolutely did a fantastic job with replacing my unpstairs and downstairs toilet and bathroom sink faucet.  Jose was very cordial and professional over the phone and in person.  I had to reschedule twice and he was incredibly patient with my requests.

They were efficient and provided a more affordable option than the last plumbing services that quoted me.  Their services were top notched and was the best option for plumbing services in the area.  They did great work and very efficient.  Not only did they replace what I asked them to but they also did additional repair work that went over their alloted time.

Eric and his trainee are a life saver! After an unsuccessful DIY - I decided to call a professional. I was able to get a same day appointment! They are efficient and very helpful. I had my sink up and running in no time. I also found out he also did electrical work and ended up swapping out a burned outlet. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. This review is long overdue. My husband and I are first time homeowners and had just moved in. Not even a couple weeks later we started having issues with the plumbing and I'm so appreciative a friend referred them to me they quite literally saved me thousands after 2 other companies tried to tell me my pipe was collapsed and had to be completely replaced which was not the case. Their customer service was also amazing and I will definitely be using them for any and all my future plumbing and electrical needs.

We called E&J Valley Services at 7:00 pm and Jose was out at our home at 8:00 pm in an hour tops and was done at 8:30 it was a late call, Jose was courteous friendly and professional we had two electrical issues one was the outlet and the other problem was the outside porch light he did them both and it was a very reasonable price for a later in the evening call and he came right away. This is our company for now own we didn't have to wait days or weeks and we already have another project for him. Thanks E&J you are a great company will recommend this company to anyone.

Eric and his assistant did an excellent job! Eric answered my call the first time I tried, and came out the same day. He was able to quickly analyze the issue and gave me a quote on the spot. He disconnected the dangerous work another service left incomplete, and after he left I noticed some of my lights didn't work. When I texted Eric about it, he can right back to my house... even at 7PM! The repair work was scheduled a few days later, and was done thoroughly at a great price. I will call E&J first now with all my Electrical and Plumbing jobs.

Hands down best experience I have ever had with an electrician/plumber. I need a variety of things done in my house from the installation of an EV charger to, installation of new sinks, shower fixtures, plumbing, garbage disposal repair. You name it they can fix it. They came and gave me an estimate in a timely manner, very trustworthy and professional.. worked with my budget. I can't say enough. I know who my go to is for any repairs. These guys can do it all! Jose from E&J valley Services was responsive and gave me a fair quote. He and his associates did an excellent job installing new lighting fixtures outside my garage. Job looks great and I will definitely recommend them and use them again for other projects.

I had them come out to do a big job for my backyard. I needed all of the low voltage wiring ran all over my backyard, lights in the cement, led light strips under my firepit as well as under a few other structures.

Jose came looked at everything and I told him exactly what i needed and I showed him the blueprints that I drew. Him and Eric were very confident and Eric just kept bragging about all the jobs he's done. So I chose them to do the job since they were new a business and wanted to help out. That was the huge mistake on my part, lesson learned.

Anyhow, long story short, towards the end after running the lines where they needed to be we poured the cement and afterwards that's when the problems started. They didn't properly secure the pvc pipe running to my firepit so that had moved several inches forward and I had to find someone to help conceal it because it supposed to be flushed with the structure. The lights in the cement some were up and down so Jose charged me extra to straighten them out even though it was his job to make sure everything was properly fixed in the first place. In the beginning, we made a deal that they would be there when the cement was being poured so they can adjust whatever came out of place but they never did.

They left their trash everywhere and didn't finish the job fully. They didn't even attach my led strips so I had to hire someone else to do that. Jose got really combative with me regarding payment. It got extremely loud and rude and it was really embarrassing because my neighbors could here. They took the materials I paid for and bought even more claiming it was all needed. When Jose asked for payment even though the job wasn't done I told him I wanted to make sure everything worked and he got really upset and that's when I previously stated that he got loud, he squared up to me like he was going to do something and said he wasn't leaving my house until he got paid. Very unprofessional and again, really embarrassing.

Anyhow, the 5 star reviews on here are about them doing small jobs like fixing outlets which I think is probably the best they can do. I wouldn't hire them for a huge job.

We had a couple of recessed and pendant lights installed throughout the house and they all turned out great. Jose and his crew are excellent! They were very professional, communicated well, worked efficiently and delivered on schedule.

I would definitely hire them again for future projects.

Last night I noticed my GFI outlet tripped and it wouldn't reset and I asked for help here on yelp and Jose messaged within minutes and called me and scheduled to come out early this morning. He was here really fast and he fixed the outlet and an extra problem in my fuse box that I would never have found myself. Jose was super nice, friendly, easygoing, and knowledgeable. I just bought my house in July and it's great to know I have a good electrician I can call for things like this in the future. Thanks Jose, I'll definitely do business with you again!

I put out a request on Yelp for a Security Motion Flood Light above my front garage door. These gentleman responded quickly & gave me a very good/fair price for the install. I informed them that I would be picking up the light myself from Lowe's to go with the accent of my home & they obliged, very understanding. While I was at Lowe's prior to my install date I reached out to E&J and asked them if they had time to change out 4 ceiling light fixtures (that have been in my house since 1989), a new lcd thermostat for my heating/ac, a Ring doorbell unit, as well as a new side entrance flood light as well. Jose, the gentleman who was my contact said go ahead and pick up whatever you need and upon arrival of your home & visual inspection based on the condition of your current units & wiring he would give me my estimate for my additional requests, (worst case scenario I would just return the additional items to Lowe's) but, I DID NOT! Jose & Eric the two workers that came to my home got the work done very  seamlessly. I highly recommend this company, the gentleman are very respectful to their clients & their home's. Their work and craft is truly Supreme! Thank you guy & will be seeing you in a few months for my Ceiling Fan Install before this Valley Summer heat returns!!!!

I reached out to E&J Valley Services to get some work done for my parents that needed to be done asap. They told my dad that they would order parts and come in for the appointment and that even if he wanted to he couldn't back out once they ordered parts. They never showed up. I reached out to them and they swear they cancelled the appointment but no attempt was ever made. I'm very disappointed in the service and would have really liked some sort of notice to move forward properly.

I was having issues with 8 electrical receptacles in the kitchen. Eric with E&J Valley Services responded to me within 10 minutes.  Eric was very professional and he guided me remotely to identify the root cause during his off-hours . In the end, one tripped circuit breaker was identified and got fixed, and one bad circuit was found.  Eric was very knowledgeable and he explained to me what happened to the electrical circuits. I would definitely recommend Eric and the company for your electrical needs.

My smoke detectors were going off and on for 2 days. I had left messages for a few companies and after 2 hours of waiting with that piercing sound, I sent a request for a few companies in yelp. I was grateful Jose responded so quickly. He was friendly and able to come out in the afternoon. I also needed pendant lights put in my kitchen. Jose and Eric showed up and did such a great job! They make a great team and both very professional and knowledgeable. I will be calling in the future for sure!

Eric and Jose were very responsive at the start of everything. They called me the first day I posted for electrical work on Yelp and was able to come out and assess or house the next day. Their price was very competitive comparing toward other companies. The initial job just to check our outlets since our house was running older wire and could be fire hazard in the future. The were able to retrofit all of the receptacles as well as troubleshoot some of the outlets that were not working. In the process they found a safety hazard in one of the light switches where two cables melted and was outputting 220V see in the pictures. Good thing they caught this. This could have cause us a fire down the line or worse. Eric was able to work with us on the pricing and was very understanding. They were able to work and with us when we were working from home. They had their mask on at all times and wore booties through the house. We are glad we found honest and upfront contractors. We plan to have them work on house down the line. Thank you.

Needed an outlet repaired that required some rewiring pretty simple job.  Minimum charge was $160 which I felt was pretty high but they were available same day.  Came out were professional and friendly and quickly made the repair and found out we had a bad circuit breaker.  They had one with them but charged me $80 for the part.  I know single pole 15 amp breakers are not expensive and a quick search at Homedepot.com showed this was $5.00 part.   I questioned them about the price asked them to adjust  to a reasonable amount with some mark up but they refused to budge.  I am glad they got it fixed same day but really felt taken advantage of and would never use them again due to price gouging.  The total time they were there was about 25 minutes.

This company and the gentleman Jose is one of the only places to answer I had a smelly smoke smell coming from wall at almost 10 at night no one was answering after calling a bunch of companies called this place and they answered and showed up within 30 mins Replaced some stuff in the wall and told me what to do if I ever notice that smell again to make sure a fire doesn't happen cause the parts they removed were burnt thankfully they came through I will keep using this company for all my house services needed

Eric and Jose are in the customer service business . We needed to wire up a new air compressor in our shop. Called them on Thursday they found the parts and came out on Friday. We reviewed the job and they installed everything just the way we needed. They were very professional wearing their masks at all time.

They they were supposed to come out and do a 1) RV sewer pipe 2) RV 30A power, and 3) a transfer switch for a generator for my home.  They brought an under-powered transfer switch (didn't think to ask me what I needed to back up on the first visit.)  All the breakers in the transfer switch were under powered. When they said they had to go exchange it for something bigger and more expensive, I said let's skip the transfer switch and do #1 and #2. To my surprise, they dropped the whole job!  They didn't reschedule or give me a different quote.  They just dropped the job!  Just unreliable, in my view.  Very annoyed!

These guys are incredible!! The have great communication and response time. We were able to get an appointment right away. They could have easily charged us for way more than what they did. They made sure to go through ever little thing before resorting to a worse case wiring issue. They were able to pinpoint an issue caused by the solar equipment. They also explained a potentially dangerous issue stemming from the solar breakers and a few options of how to resolve that issue. They explained to me how to avoid tripping the breaker  in the future. I cannot give these guys high enough praise!!

We bought a new home in Tracy and needed recessed lighting throughout. I found E&J Valley Services online and gave them a call among a few others. Eric was quick to get back to me and even showed up at my house that same day to give me an estimate. No run around. He showed up on time exactly when he said he would. Not only did Eric & Jose give us a phenomenal price they were super easy to talk to and had obvious knowledge of lighting and electrical work. These guys worked their rears off over a span of a few days to install about 60 brand new LED lights in our home. Not only did they have to cut new holes in the ceiling and crawl through our tight attic space to do so but they also found an amazing way to match the few existing lights with the new ones. After removing a few old lights we realized the holes in the ceiling were too big for the new lights we had. Eric and Jose got custom rings made for us so that we could install the new lights into the old wider holes. Anyone else would have told us that we have to order larger lights by a different brand (which would have made the light tones different) to complete the job but not these guys. We really appreciated the extra mile they went for us. They installed new dimmers, moved some ceiling fans for us and literally never said no to anything we asked. We HIGHLY recommend Eric and Jose if you want reliable, honest and flat out great work! Thank you guys!

I am so relieved to have found E&J Valley Services. They picked up when I called, listened to a quick run-down of the many issues I had, and gave me a time frame for when they could come out---and it was same day. They handled each issue quickly, efficiently and effectively. They communicate well. Quick response and excellent work! Eric and Jose came out and replaced my GFCI outlets in my garage and had my power back up in running in less than an hour! Really pleased with service and will be using them for several more projects in the very near future.

I reached out to E&J Valley services on a Friday, and they scheduled an appointment to come for a NEMA 14-50 installation quote on Wednesday. After confirming the quote Jose came the very next day to do the job. He practiced covid safety as well as job safety throughout. The installation was quick and he did a great job. Would definitely recommend him for any and all electrical work!

Very reliable electrician. They hung 7 lights in our kitchen in a short period of time. Very friendly. We will use them again.

Eric and his partner Jose installed some 30+ LED lights as well as a bunch of other LED/non-LED fixtures a month back spending almost the entire day and everything is working great and we are enjoying them. He goes with high end lights and does not cut corners with the quality. What I liked about Eric is he is flexible with the job w.r.t changes(schedule/actual details of the job) and works with you to recommend/make suggestions.

While his work does not come cheap, you don't want to risk your electrical needs with someone who does not know what they are doing and Eric is a true pro in his domain and therefore, his costs can be justified. You will be really happy that you hired him.

I will definitely hire him again and in fact I am slowly budgeting for my next set of fixtures!

Needed some work quickly because we lost a GFCI circuit. They came quickly. Had the parts. Proactively did the breaker at the same time and were done in an hour.  Fast, honest, friendly, professional and efficient!

Communication issues, didn't have them do any work to review on. Communication issues prevented me from having them do anything.

We just had our kitchen remodeled. We had an issue with the outlets, 5 outlets didn't work in the kitchen and Thanksgiving is around the corner, so we really needed everything to work. I sent out the request last night, Eric responded to my message pretty fast that they will call me in the morning. Received a call this morning and 30 min after Jose was already at our door. It took him like 10 min to identify the issue and fix it. I recommend this company to anyone who needs an electrician.

Because they do plumbing, and electrical, I'm able to call on them for many different things throughout my home that needs to be attended to. I love that I can count on them to be upfront, practical, and honest about the repairs that need to be made and how much they will cost me. Integrity, is tough sometimes to find these days, and these guys are amazing human beings. I feel very lucky to have found people that I can work with that I can trust!

Eric and Jose to the rescue! We had shot up, unsafe, burnt out fluorescent canisters in my kitchen. The guys were able to fix the electrical by replacing the old schools lights to brand new state of the LED/flush with the ceiling/ bright like no other recess lights (not to mention, no more light bulbs)! They were professional, thoroughly explained the problem and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend!

Been struggling with a clogged toilet for a few weeks. Nothing I tried worked and decided to call in professionals. Eric was the first to respond to me and in a timely fashion. I called yesterday at around 3 pm have had ongoing problems for over a year. They isolated where the trouble is and what is needed to correct the problem. They were honest, professional, and are now dealing with the person responsible for correcting it. 4:00pm Saturday afternoon and our outlets in our bathrooms and garage aren't working. We check the breaker, it's fine. GFCI outlets??? whereabouts unknown. Not being an electrician, I call E&J Valley Services. Eric answers promptly and states he is finishing a job and can he call me back. Not more than 15 minutes later he returns my call, less than 10 minutes after that, he and his partner, Jose, arrive. They are very polite and friendly and even ask if we want them to wear masks and gloves due to COVID-19. In no time,they not only help us locate where both GFCI outlets are (one was tripped) but they also fix the problem-the main breaker was not all the way flipped to on. Seems silly, but they saved us a lot of stress and spoiled food from our garage refrigerator being off.
These two gentlemen were professional and knowledgeable. They offer a variety of electrical and plumbing services. I now have their business card and will be sure to call again when needed. If you need an electrician...call them first.

My range went out and had to order a new one, but I received the new range and the new range didn't work. I suspected it might be the old receptical to plug in the range. I went to Yelp and they recommended 5 companies. Of the 5 companies, E&J Valley Services only took time to respond within minutes. I called Eric (owner) and within a couple of hours was at my house to diagnose the issue. He initially fixed the old receptical, but pointed out that the receptical I had was obsolete and may need replacement. Unfortunately I decided keep it and the next morning, after using it range to cook, it went out again! I called Eric again and he asked me via video chat to reset breaker. Since it didn't work, he came that afternoon to replace the old receptical and breaker. Eric bought the equipment and charged me very little for his service the second time around. He understood everyone's situation during this pandemic and didn't take advantage. Very reasonable price for service and happy to recommend this company...I found out this company does not only electric fix, but also plumbing. Will be contracting them to replace my garbage disposal and add a bathroom fan in the very near future!

Very responsive called to talk about the work needed. Very nice guys and where able to quote the price over the phone. The work was approved and scheduled.. one week later they still havent showed up not even a phone call to reschedule :/

I had to get an electrician out quick and got hold of E&J Valley Services , Eric was able to come out same day and change up faulty plugs that were dangerous, and checked my other plugs too, very reasonable and efficient, I'll be using his services again in the future, would definitely recommend

Irresponsible. Promised to come by today to install my EV Charger. No show. Didn't even call to cancel the appointment. Liar. He said he left a message on my voicemail. I never received any call or voice message from this company.

Great response time and friendly pricing. I was very impressed with the prompt service and attention to detail (responded within minutes, and even offered to go fix the issue that same night- which was Sunday night!).  Will definitely use this company again I highly recommend them.

Very responsive! We have had a problem with our shower drain for about a month now, and we'd been able to get it to go back to normal with a few little tricks. But eventually we just couldn't get it to drain. I sent out a Yelp quote request to a couple people. He was able to respond in less than half an hour and beat out the other quotes AND get to our place in about an hour. I wasn't expecting it at all, and was surprised that it was going so fast. He was quick to ask if we wanted to have them wear masks, and managed to unclog the drain in what seemed like no time at all. All in all it was a great experience, and I'm definitely keeping his business card around!
