Awesome!! I recently had recessed can lighting in the kitchen and a dining room light fixture installed. The work that was done was amazing! George was very friendly and easy to work with. He took the time to make sure I was happy with placement of the lights and was helpful with his opinion and expertise. I could not be happier with my new lighting!! Our roof was damaged in a summer monsoon. I reached out to a few roofing companies and Rich came out right away and did a thorough evaluation of our roof, recommending we replace half of it and following up promptly with a fair and detailed estimate. After our homeowners insurance also evaluated the damage, we were able to replace the whole roof under the claim. So the team came out and worked quickly. It took about 4 days. Unfortunately another monsoon storm came after the first day of roof work so we sustained some water damage to the interior walls. The team finished the roof up and they followed up promptly to inspect the water stains, brought someone out to repair everything, and covered the cost. When they quality checked the roof, a few spots required fixing and the team came back and took care of it. Definitely appreciated Rich's attention to detail and communication. The office staff are nice too. The project manager we were assigned was just okay (not quite as easy to connect with and not as communicative as we expected during the project).
Even with the hiccups, the company definitely made things right in the end. They were reliable, trustworthy and did good quality work for us. We are happy with our new roof and would work with them again.

Out of all the solar contractors I interviewed, Aneva stood out as a honest, no pressure company that was up front on the sale and installation of our 8.8 kWh system.  They were easy to work with, on time and no surprises.  When I had questions about my system after the install, they were quick to get back to me with answers.  With a year of solar production, the system over produced more than projected.  A solid value and a good company to deal with.  Highly recommended.

What can I say, these guys are fantastic!  I had a complicated wiring problem that one of the other big name Phoenix firms could not repair.  Ryan arrived with a can-do attitude.  He plugged through a hot attic and a difficult diagnosis to get the job done right.  They will exceed your expectations for professionalism and quality of work.  I will be using them for ALL my electrical work moving forward.  Do yourself a favor and do the same.

10/22/22  We had Dustin come out and tweak, what we had.  They installed, Solar mounted, solar powered Attic Fan, it was all we needed to circulate more air. It's finally so much cooler.

John and his crew were the most honest and trustworthy contractors I have worked with and they do things right. His crew has been with him for several years and the owner, John was there throughout the entire install.

I had kicked around the idea of solar for about two years, but every sales guy I talked to was just that, a salesman. None of them felt genuine and every one of them made me feel like I was somehow going to get screwed in the end. One talked to me about leasing, which I just can't even comprehend the value aspect of that. After I stopped looking for several months, I talked with a neighbor who recently had solar installed. Compared to other neighbor's with solar, his looked the most aesthetically appeasing. He had nothing but praise for Black Platinum. He gave me Black Platinums contact info and I contacted John shortly after. John discussed his company, the way he works, and gave me a ballpark estimate of the costs and amount of electricity I could produce. Over the next couple of days, he sent me several quotes for different sized systems. I then sat on it for a couple of weeks while I explored the value proposition. Not once did I feel pressured by him as I did my own research. Once I figured out my funding, I had already known Black Platinum was the easy decision for me.

Although I signed the contract with Black Platinum in late summer/early fall, I wanted to hold off the project until the end of the year so I could recoup some of my cash outlay in only a couple of months with the tax rebate. I've heard stories about APS taking forever approving the connection agreement, but he assured me it was probable that it would be done by the end of the year. He had a good relationship with APS.

They started with the rail mounts at the end of November and the LG panels and Enphase microinverters mid -December. The project was completed on time and approved by APS by the end of the month, exactly as we expected. No anxiety on my part whatsoever.

Now I work close to he and my wife was home majority of the time during the install and I can't give enough praise about the crew and John. John always kept open communication with me via text/phone/email so I always knew the status of what was happening and the progress. Each one of his employees was easy going and fun to talk to. I felt comfortable providing them access to my garage while we were not there. John even slightly changed the design because he felt one section would be an eyesore while in the pool. Their install was clean and professional. Conduit to the breakers was run through the wall rather than outside. Microinverters are on each individual panel rather than one or two giant boxes mounted next to the breaker panel. It just looks professional. I watched another neighbor behind me go through an install with cheap looking panels installed by what looked like a bunch of high schoolers who walked all over the panels, conduit running down the outside of the wall... Total crap job. I could see footprints on their solar panels for months.

At the end, all broken roof tiles were replaced, the patch job on the drywall was perfectly matched, and we are generating electricity as expected. The app is pretty cool which shows my production and consumption, something which I am told is new from Enphase. I have nothing but good feelings about my experience with Black Platinum. I wish all contractors provided the same level of care and professionalism and managed my expectations as well as John and Black Platinum. It was truly a pleasure.

A great and positive experience from beginning to end. John, the salesperson, was available at MY convenience and never pushy: he explained as much as I could absorb and then answered questions several times after. The positive communication continued throughout the project, even when we were waiting for permits (Angela would call to say "no news, but we're monitoring and will let you know!). The onsite work was done by polite, well-mannered (no debris left, very friendly, willing to answer questions and made sure we weren't inconvenienced). System has been up for about a month and, because of the monitoring system, I can see what is being generated by our system. VERY GLAD we went with Rooftop and I would HAPPILY recommend them to anyone!

Update: Hahahahaha your competitor?... Jeez the ego on this guy. Thank you for the explanation. So, the dealer fee with another company is $15,000 and with you it isn't. Yet, you are selling the product at the same price. Meaning, the $15,000 "dealer fee" goes in your pocket. Thank you for admitting that you're robbing people of the $15,000 and even worse, you are showing them that you're doing it. You just redirect their attention by trashing other companies and their tactics while singing yourself praises. You can't be the good guy and talk trash about everyone else and compliment yourself in every sentence. And you're saying that being associated with one of the most well known companies in the country was a bad thing for you? Seems economically awesome and your excuse is bull. Just look this guy up. He has hopped around a lot more than once. Everything you say makes me wanna vomit.

This guy tries to sell you high interest rates because he makes more money that way. Turns out you can go to a different company and get solar for the same price but at a 5th of the interest rate. Looks like he is just trying to rip people off. He claims to be famous in the valley and that the public knows him for his success, reputation blah blah blah... he changes companies/his company name every couple years. Reputable, honest companies don't do that. He has less than a handful of reviews online and several of them are his family members. The others are all written using all the word for word clichés he says constantly. Meaning they were probably written by him. The public doesn't seem to know you exist buddy. Probably cuz most people see right through the fact that you don't have their best interest in mind and they send you packing never to give you another thought. Go elsewhere for solar. Don't buy into this guys high interest rate (high commission) garbage.

General Solar just installed a new solar water heater. They did an outstanding job! When I called Kent, he was out of town, but still answered his phone. He said he would call me back as soon as he retuned.  He called me and came out the very next day and replaced my broken heater.
That's what I call Customer Service. He was prompt , courteous, and a great job!  
His pricing was right on.

Have worked with these guys to get solar for my home. Very professional and very knowledgeable. They also gave me a lower price than the other company that came and showed me what they had. They gave me a low 2.99 interest rate on my solar. I will recommend them to any and all my friends and family.

I never said your panels caused my roof damage. $2000 savings compared to an extra $10000 more that I have to pay due to your greed is not generous. You said yourself as long as the roof is strong enough to cover the warranty for 5 years. Your roof inspector knew the approx age but it's whatever. You guys won't admit. I went with your company because I had great reviews on you from actual customers. Privately owned, great team, best deals, integrity, turns out your just the same typical sales people that would say anything to make a sale

I started this project in June of this year and my solar is hooked up.
Everybody from Lee to Yollie with updates has made this a easy journey. I wish all things could work that Way...
I have not received my first bill, looking forward to seeing the beneifits... APS has been more commentating then EXEL Energy.  I am still waiting.
Long story short...Very Happy and would recommend them....Oh by the way they Lee was the only one who called me back and put forth the effort to make this work for me....

This company has been questionable from the get go.  Kyle our "salesman" was okay at first. Really a salesman personality. Not pushy just the insisting that our product is the best kinda guy. My wife and I agreed that we wanted to use renuable energy and was very interested in the savings so we decided to move forward with getting solar panels. He told my wife and i that if we needed anything at all that he would be there for us.

Weeks later we would get sparatic phone calls from people we didn't know letting us know that other people would be by to check the roof and take measurements. More Weeks would pass and we would get more phone calls about different people needed to get back on the roof.  Still no communication regarding where we were in the process or any follow up for that matter.  I would call and check on them every once in a while to see where we were in the process and would get very generic answers from the nice younger sounding gal who tried to answer my questions the best she could ..... Professional emails sent by Craig the guy who handles permitting with the state was not thorough or seemed not to care about anything.  His way of completing his work was to write broken english emails and have me taking time to discuss my permit with  state offices.... . Which turned out to be completely useless and a waste of time and I was told after many days of back and forth with them I was indeed good to go and did not need to contact them in the first place.

I expressed sincere frustration to our sales man Kyle, who after saying he was going to get to the bottom of this and Answer all my questions.  Kyle has just straight up ended communication with us. All of this after a meeting he set up.  He insisted he take care of all this negative bs that's going on around our project. Just gone.  Texts (how he likes to communicate)  have not been returned. As it stands today, on June 25, 2018, I am unsure what the hell is going on. We signed documents with this company on February 26th. 4 months ago.  Please save yourself the headache and go with a reputable company.  If I could give them zero stars I would.

Titan Solar said they would call me and remedy the problems.  No calls from them. Alexys owner of Titan,  uses canned response to all bad reviews.  They
do not stand by their warranty.  Do not hire, warning, do not use them.

Solar City is now of course, Tesla Solar. I had Solar City in my previous home(solar panels), in another State and never had a problem getting any service from them is the need arose. Now Tesla bought Solar City. I had Solar added to my home here in AZ before Tesla bought out the company. Now the service is horrible. I had referred a neighbor to get solar and they did, I was due a $200 referral fee. That was over a year ago and have contacted Tesla customer support many times over the last year and have NEVER received a response from them. I think if I stop making my monthly payment to them it might get their attention, but I am not betting on it.
There are other Solar companies in the area so check them out before you ever go to TESLA...
