Best Solar Panels in Arizona

Unbelievable company. I called the company that installed the solar system. They told me 2 weeks out and I would have to pay 150 dollars for the service call. Charles walked me through the system on the phone and my system is up and running. I wish we could have used them to install new system. I would definitely recommend this company.

Sunny Energy installed ~22 panels on my property for a projected 120% of my average monthly need. The salesperson was a pleasure to work with and was able to answer all my immediate questions, without being overly aggressive. After I did my own research (a must), he answered my follow ups equally well.The install was absolutely painless, and as timely as the highly regulated process would allow.A follow up "walk through" provided another welcome opportunity for questions. There were some minor discrepancies with the information provided here versus prior to the sale, but nothing that would have changed my mind. I just received my first power bill for $-8.00, for the month of May. This seems in line with their estimate of an average of $25.00 per month.Overall I was very satisfied with how Sunny Energy handled my solar install. My only complaint is not so much with Sunny Energy, but with contractors in general. It is essential that the customer thoroughly research the job prior to purchase. Much of the information required to make a truly informed decision will not be volunteered. That said, Sunny Energy stood out as one of the best.

Bad experience with caliber roofing. They were hired by my General Contractor and after their first visit I had flashings sticking up and additional broken tiles on my roof. They came out a second time to fix their first mistakes and left me with even more issues. After the second mess up my GC cut ties with them on my project. I am now left finding another roofer to fix the gaps they left between tiles and try to find matching tiles.

Knew nothing about solar and called several companies to get quotes and information. Found first of all you are calling anywhere in country and they sub things out and not getting a local company. Then when asked for breakdown of cost won't do. Found Aneva Solar to be honest straight forward and willing to help and answer anything you needed. By far the best company around and LOCAL here in Phoenix. Have not actually got system in yet, but thus far impressed with owner Anthony,Brian, and Scott. Have made several trips to site explaining everything and doing the leg work. Use the best equipment around and no short cuts. Will add to review once system in plan on doing in Aug.

Honestly wish I could give 10 stars. Ryan came out, immediately identified our problem and let us know it was the power companies responsibility to fix it, not ours. He could have been dishonest and charged us thousands but his honesty saved us so much money and he now has a customer for life. You rarely see business owners choose honesty over profit and we can't thank him enough. His team still did some other fan installation work for us and they did an awesome job. We are so happy with the work and how affordable it was. Thank you Ryan and team, we will never use anyone else!

Extremely impressed with Dustin who installed my first set of lights in a windowless room. After seeing the difference they made, I called back and had 2 more installed and Devyn was just as professional. The photo in the room is only showing the light from 2-14" tubes. It was DARK - Zero Natural light! I highly recommend Arizona Home Daylight!

Wow, been looking at Solar for quite some time. Went through some of the larger corporate companies and never felt comfortable. Anyways, decided to go local with a family business and it paid off. Got to know Mr. Black and his son quite well because that is who they are...a down home AZ family with similar values. Not to mention some of the guys on the crew, Daniel, Bryan etc. All guys that have the same values as their bosses/owners. It is a nerve wracking decision, no high pressure sales but more of a conversation from Black Platinum. If you are expecting them to "hound" you, that will not happen. When they show to start, they work. No mess, no fuss. Please reach out if you need someone to ease your mind as I would be happy to share my experience. Best, Greg

Rooftop Solar installed a solar system in February,2021 and did a great job.  They are a very responsive and customer-driven company.  During the sales process, their price was very competitive and I felt they were honest about the system and the process.  They quoted good equipment, and even ended up upgrading it some (at no extra charge)  to help me meet energy targets without upgrading my circuit breaker box.   We ran into a few gliches with my HOA and they were very supportive and responsive to my needs and the concerns of the HOA.  They really work hard to ensure that their customer is satisfied.  A few panels were not working initially and they followed up immediately with the equipment manufacturer to get it corrected.  They have also followed up with me at my 1 year anniversary to check in.  I highly recommend Rooftop Solar for your PV System.

Mr. Sunshine Solar was so helpful. Im another solar company customer. But I am currently having issue with my system. I called him to get assistance and answers. He helped me get the information I needed from solar edge customer service. Without talking to him I would have not be able to get the help I needed. He was so sweet and nice. I am so thankful for his assistance.  Thank you.

My solar water heater became defective, called several companies for service, here are some of their comments, " if we didn't install it we don't service it". "we don't do solar anymore", We live in the Valley of the Sun. I called General Solar, spoke to Kent and he said he could come to my house on Monday, I asked if he had any solar water heaters on hand, yes he did, I said please bring it when you come.  After 4 days of no hot water and taking cold showers even during a heat wave, gets old, I had hot water within 1 hour, Kent and Steve cleaned up and removed the old water heater. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you Kent and Steve. I will refer you to anyone who is interested in solar. Thanks again, Mary

Have worked with these guys to get solar for my home. Very professional and very knowledgeable. They also gave me a lower price than the other company that came and showed me what they had. They gave me a low 2.99 interest rate on my solar. I will recommend them to any and all my friends and family.

My first thoughts were, do I really want to write this review? Then I thought about it. Of course I don't but I really need too. I see perfect reviews only. Nobody is perfect. With that said let me tell you why my situation is far from perfect. It began on Wednesday when I was told about this company that advertises on KTAR. The person could not remember the name of the company, only that the voice sounded convincing and professional. So I emailed KTAR and I asked about it. I was given a huge recommendation by KTAR. Next, I looked at the yelp reviews and was thrilled.  So I went to Harmon's website and  entered info including my address and received two phone calls. One from Chad and another from Ben. I will have you know my internet assessment gave me a sun score of 79. That is good, I was later told. I decided to call Ben back. I was given a wealth of information more specifically why Harmon was better than Vivint or Solar City whom I had been conversing with. I explained why I did not choose either of these companies and what I had anticipated my solar needs to be. I was told we have 15 kinds of panels and multiple plans and how they would devise a plan to suit my expectations. Sounds great right? I scheduled an appointment for today, Monday (my day off) at 10:00 am. I was so excited by the possibilities, maybe I could even own my panels verse lease them. Not 5 mins later Ben called me back and said Dennis is the best and I want you to have Dennis but he cannot make it to your house until about 1:00. Would that be ok? Hesitant about wasting my whole day off, but still excited about the solar energy opportunity, I agreed. So now 5 days later I am home, its 1:00 and I am waiting for Dennis. Low and behold my phone rings and you guessed it, it is Dennis. He goes on to tell me he left me a voicemail either Wednesday or Thursday saying we were not a fit. Really I said because I have no voicemail messages. And let me remind you that I only scheduled the appointment on Wednesday night at around 6. So I said oh either Wednesday or Thursday? So you don't know exactly when. Ok continue, he says we can only fit 10 panels on your house and it would cost more in the long run than APS. So I said you are suppose to be giving me multiple options and your not giving me any. So this is where I am confused, I have a 2700 square foot house, in AZ. A sun score of 79. Again I live in AZ with approximately 300 days of sun, yet I am not a good fit for solar. So Dennis doesn't want to waste my time, although I think it was more about wasting his time. I call Ben back and he says he doesn't know anything about it. But says I am a man of my word, I will find out more info and call you back. Ben called me back to basically tell me the same thing that Dennis stated. Robot style to my liking anyways. Tells me Dennis left a message, I said ok, lets pretend he left a message. My question is then: Why call me at the appointment time if you felt that your voicemail was good enough to begin with? Hmm, my thoughts and thus my review is because there was no message.
Update 10/1/2015 just signed with Sunrun! Guaranteed me 22,000 kilowatts a year. Guess you were wrong.

I had some electrical issues and they came at the appointed time and repaired my issues efficiently. The tech was courteous and knowledgeable.
I would not hesitate to recommend AZ Energy pros. Several friends that I referred them to were also satisfied with the service.
I don't do reviews very often only when I especially impressed with a business.

Two years now and still no bill from SRP.  My excess generation covers the Surcharge SRP charges. Wooooo - Hoooooo

This company is still TRASH! DO NOT DO BUSINESS with them!!! The "owner" messaged me never to hear back from her again.  Even when talking with the City of PHX they get the same frustration from this company as all the other reviews on here.  I would go somewhere else if possible!!!

Okay, I've been a customer since before the Tesla acquisition, since 2013. We have had to replace our solar inverter one time due to a malfunctioning part that actually burnt up inside the unit.

Recently, I was alerted to the fact that our solar had stopped working six weeks ago when I got a surprise APS bill. I tried to find a number to call and stumbled on all these negative reviews. After reading them, I was full of righteous indignation and I called prepared to do battle and wait up to 60 days for my system to be repaired.

I was super surprised when I ended up spending less than 20 minutes on the phone with them. They had been trying to contact me using an old number and had even tried sending a tech out to my house once while I was not home, so they weren't able to access my inverter. After my call, a tech came out two days later and was able to fix my inverter with just a software code change. He was here 15 minutes and my inverter is happily chugging away.

While I'm pretty sure they could have done a better job of trying to contact me (tech could have left a note when they were at my home, could have mailed me an actual letter, etc.) I'm very satisfied with their speed of service and diligence. Each person I spoke to was professional and polite and made sure to stay on the call until they were sure I'd been successfully transferred to the appropriate party. I hope I don't need more service for a while, but it seems like they were on it this time.
