Best Solar Panels in Arizona

Sun Services USA Solar Panel
Scam. Installed a system at my residence and stated it would easily cover winter electricity, while it doesn't come close. I had roofers out who said I needed a new roof before installing solar. Sun Services sent their own roofers out and told me it would be fine and they'd give me a credit at installation if we moved forward. I failed to get that in writing and received no credit. Solar is a scam. Especially with this company.

Sunny Energy Solar Panel
I can not as yet leave a review regarding the equipment, which I purchased from Sunny Energy, as it was just commissioned a few days ago. However I can personally grade the Sunny Energy process insofar as representation of sale, installation, and customer service.
The Sale: From the time the sales rep. (Sean) knocked on my door, his representation was flawless. He was humble, thoughtful, professional, polite, knowledgable, and was quite sincere in my best interest. In other words, he did not try to ingratiate himself on me to sell me more than what I actually needed, something I experienced with another company who also provided me a quote for like services. He told me he would guide me every step of the way and that he did. I had questions for him throughout and his response time to every message I left him was actually impressive. The point of sale and signing of the contract was smooth and very convenient, as everything was done via email and Docusign. Grade: A+
The Installation: They promptly surveyed my house, provided me plans for an efficient system that was based on my usage history and future need. My system of 20 panels was installed in just 3 hours. The crew was very efficient, and the Lead was personable, and communicated very well in telling me exactly what they were going to do. He also was happy to answer all the questions I had for him throughout the installation. Grade: A
Customer Service: In my opinion customer service is what separates the good from the rest in a competitive field. Just as in Sunny Energy's sales representation, which in my experience was flawless, so was their customer service. Communication was a big part of this, as I consistently received emails and texts regarding the process of my project, or confirming an appointment. The communication was not only consistent, but prompt, I never had to contact them regarding the process of installation. Whether during the project regarding invoicing, or as a post project customer service follow up, every employee I spoke to was super personable. I could tell that these people actually like their jobs and the company they work for. Grade: A+
Sunny Energy over and above all these fine attributes is a philanthropic organization. Proceeds of their sales are charitable to very worthy organizations such as St. Jude's Children's Hospital and The Give Power Foundation. Nothing tells me more about the character of this company than this. It is no wonder why my project and interaction with everyone involved was well pleasing. My compliments to the people who run this company and the people who drive it, well done!

Aneva Solar Solar Panel
Had a great experience start to finish with the Aneva Solar team, working primarily with Scott and Chris. Had a 73 panel system installed using top of the line components and LG panels with a 25 year warranty on everything. They took care of all the project management details, including walking me (a solar newbie) through all the details and answering my questions, getting all the permits secured, installation and commissioning the start up. There were a couple curve balls that came up during the process and they worked out solutions to address them, needing only a confirmation from me that the solution they came up with was acceptable. The system went active in September '21 and we now have a $200 credit balance on our APS bill that keeps growing every month.

Could not be happier with the overall project, the end result, and the Aneva team. Thanks again Scott, Chris and Team Aneva.

Black Platinum Solar & Electric Solar Panel
As an Architect I know the most important decision for any project is choosing the right contractor.  For our family home we choose Black Platinum Solar & Electric.

John & John & Toni Black, father and son & family, and their whole crew have been a pleasure to work with from first meeting on the roof - to our solar power activation. We designed the system based upon the economics: ROI.  Everything was on time and on budget, professionally done with direct personal attention to all details.  "On time" means actually working on your roof the minute they said - not just showing up to get ready. Answering my email at 4:30 AM - sure. Refreshingly there was never a sales pitch, no up-sell, and only 1 extra - at my request. Get what you pay for: no nonsense straight forward quality installation, not marketing, layers of administration, overhead etc.

While completely unnecessary, I was on our roof often observing the work just to learn. Pride of Workmanship personifies their business. They work with finesse, these guys love their work. They have an extensive construction background, so care was taken not to mess up other elements of the building.  And built to last - the old fashion way, earning their reputation every day on each job. There are many technical details in a solar installation from assuring roof penetrations are waterproof to the specs of the micro-circuitry and automated trouble shooting. In our case the software found issues with APS electric servicing the neighborhood and they got APS to fix it. With their reputation and connections they obtained the latest technology prior to anyone else. Their objective is to give you the best trouble free solar installation with the minimum disruption to your life, and delivering more than promised. On a Friday afternoon John finished the paperwork and submitted City inspection approval to APS and by the next Wednesday morning our system was up and live. I'm told this was a record for APS, but it wouldn't have happened if Black Platinum wasn't totally on top of all the details. There is considerable permitting and inspections in this process, and substantial (under appreciated)  value in getting this done right and expeditiously.

The Enphase micro-inverter system they use provide realtime internet monitoring of each solar panel as well as your whole system, shown as it is actually configured on your roof, with energy production and consumption over time so you alway know every day, month and year how your system is performing. So far we are producing more than we are consuming. For telling testimonials look for those reviews a year or later after installation.  I'll post one in a year to verify the ROI calculations.

I've read so many of their 5-Star reviews online and can now vouch that they are not only credible but represent the standard of work of Black Platinum Solar.

Rooftop Solar Solar Panel
This review is late. I bought my solar array from Rooftop back in 2016. It was installed in September and it's been working like a champ till it hit summer 2017. One if th inverters went offline and had to be reset. I called these guys and they sent someone to check out the systems integrity and function. They were helpful throughout the whole process and made sure that their product and my investment was working as it should.

Please use my experience with this company when deciding to choose this company for your solar needs. Hopefully this review helps.

Mr. Sunshine Solar Solar Panel
I live in Hawaii and reached out to Mr. Sunshine 4000 miles away to review two very large solar project for one of my client's. Michael immediately addressed my concerns, provided me the same day a complete detailed breakdown of each project.

Michael's kind heart, support without judgement, compassion for others is paramount, not to mention Michael took the time to go step by step with me, answering additional questions I continued to send to him. Michael worked with me until I had a complete understanding of each and every step to a solar system with associated cost breakdowns of which I did not have and were unable to obtain on the Island's.

I am beyond grateful, I took the time to contact Mr. Sunshine. When my client's begin to consider solar projects moving forward, I will always be sure to request an overview by Michael regardless that I am 4000 miles away.

General Solar Solar Panel
Had Steve and Kent out on 10/17/2022 to service my 120 gal. solar hot water tank.  I have used General Solar several times to change out the anode in the tank as the water in Maricopa is very hard.  I have been using the solar hot water heater for 10 years.  To maintain this reliability, I had the anode changed out about six months before it was really due.  Also put in a new mixing valve and T-stat element kit.  New flex lines were installed as well.  Very pleased with their service and would certainly recommend them.

Galaxy Solar Solar Panel
Have worked with these guys to get solar for my home. Very professional and very knowledgeable. They also gave me a lower price than the other company that came and showed me what they had. They gave me a low 2.99 interest rate on my solar. I will recommend them to any and all my friends and family.

Harmon Solar Solar Panel
My first thoughts were, do I really want to write this review? Then I thought about it. Of course I don't but I really need too. I see perfect reviews only. Nobody is perfect. With that said let me tell you why my situation is far from perfect. It began on Wednesday when I was told about this company that advertises on KTAR. The person could not remember the name of the company, only that the voice sounded convincing and professional. So I emailed KTAR and I asked about it. I was given a huge recommendation by KTAR. Next, I looked at the yelp reviews and was thrilled.  So I went to Harmon's website and  entered info including my address and received two phone calls. One from Chad and another from Ben. I will have you know my internet assessment gave me a sun score of 79. That is good, I was later told. I decided to call Ben back. I was given a wealth of information more specifically why Harmon was better than Vivint or Solar City whom I had been conversing with. I explained why I did not choose either of these companies and what I had anticipated my solar needs to be. I was told we have 15 kinds of panels and multiple plans and how they would devise a plan to suit my expectations. Sounds great right? I scheduled an appointment for today, Monday (my day off) at 10:00 am. I was so excited by the possibilities, maybe I could even own my panels verse lease them. Not 5 mins later Ben called me back and said Dennis is the best and I want you to have Dennis but he cannot make it to your house until about 1:00. Would that be ok? Hesitant about wasting my whole day off, but still excited about the solar energy opportunity, I agreed. So now 5 days later I am home, its 1:00 and I am waiting for Dennis. Low and behold my phone rings and you guessed it, it is Dennis. He goes on to tell me he left me a voicemail either Wednesday or Thursday saying we were not a fit. Really I said because I have no voicemail messages. And let me remind you that I only scheduled the appointment on Wednesday night at around 6. So I said oh either Wednesday or Thursday? So you don't know exactly when. Ok continue, he says we can only fit 10 panels on your house and it would cost more in the long run than APS. So I said you are suppose to be giving me multiple options and your not giving me any. So this is where I am confused, I have a 2700 square foot house, in AZ. A sun score of 79. Again I live in AZ with approximately 300 days of sun, yet I am not a good fit for solar. So Dennis doesn't want to waste my time, although I think it was more about wasting his time. I call Ben back and he says he doesn't know anything about it. But says I am a man of my word, I will find out more info and call you back. Ben called me back to basically tell me the same thing that Dennis stated. Robot style to my liking anyways. Tells me Dennis left a message, I said ok, lets pretend he left a message. My question is then: Why call me at the appointment time if you felt that your voicemail was good enough to begin with? Hmm, my thoughts and thus my review is because there was no message.
Update 10/1/2015 just signed with Sunrun! Guaranteed me 22,000 kilowatts a year. Guess you were wrong.

Arizona Energy Pros Solar Panel
I purchased a new solar system from Arizona Energy Pros in 2013. I worked with both Chris Martinez and Rusty Gardner. The process was mostly smooth. Some hiccups along the way were broken roofing tiles (but from their location it was clear that the painting company I used earlier had cracked the tiles and just kept silent). AEP said they would find the tiles but had such a hard time and the ones they found didn't match and said they would put those under the solar panels. I managed to find the company that install the tiles and bought some tiles from them and AEP bought the rest and in the end 25 tiles were replaced. I think the painting company did it and just didn't say anything i.e. why would they since they knew the homeowner wasn't going to go up on his roof anyway? So kudos to AEP for taking ownership of the broken tiles and replacing all of them. The crew also damaged one of the gutter sections and asked me to contact the gutter company and get a quote and then paid to have the gutter section replaced. Again kudos to AEP to owning up to all the damage that was done even if it was not by them. The solar array has been online now for 8-1/2 years and been working great. They installed 22 panels with 225 Watt micro-inverters. In hindsight I should have opted for 28 or 30 panels but that's life.

Apollo Electric Solar Panel
I read the other reviews on yelp about Apollo Electric and Matt - decided to try them out. The other reviews are all spot on! I emailed Matt some photos of an electric car charger I had on Monday - when they are listed as closed. He responded very quickly same day and they came out the Tuesday afternoon and installed the required run back to the panel. It is rare to find true professionals these days. I will be using these guys again. Highly recommend.

Thanks a bunch Matt.

Titan Solar Power Solar Panel
I installed solar back in November 2021. To date, my  electricity bill has increased by the amount I paid for the installation. My bill was $116 before the installation and remains at $116. My electricity bill has increased by the cost of the installation. Where is the cost savings to me? When will it begin and how much will it be? To date, I am spending $60 more per month than before I added solar to my home and the solar has done nothing more that added an extra expense I didn't need. It has been a huge ripoff and something I am stuck with for the future.

Tesla Energy Solar Panel
We signed up for Solar City sometime in march of this year. We were told after the panels were installed on our roof it would take 4 weeks for aps to turn on the power. So Solar city was out april 2nd and installed 59 panels. Our rep Daniel now said it will take about 11 weeks. Ok I can live with that, not happy about it being almost 3 times what I was told before. He said keep on aps and they may do it quicker. So I called aps and they haven't received ppw from solar city. Called solar city, still waiting on funding for our panels. May 23rd, received an email from aps they just received ppw from solar city. Called aps the next day. Aps said it now will take up to 4 months!!!! Wow really? Aps says there is a 4 step process and I will receive a email with every step. Middle of july, nothing from aps so I call them, they  tell me my ppw still hasn't been started yet and they would find it and start working on it. Finally got an email from aps early august. So im still 3 months out. April 2nd for panels installed to maybe October or November. Thats 6 months. When I was told numerous times 4 weeks. Shop around there are other solar options. Ps. Daniel moved back east right after my panels were installed, so now im on my own. Both aps and solar city suck.
