Best Solar Panels in Arizona
I had a Solar System installed on my home in Prescott Az. We had 21 panels installed and couldn't be happier. Team 3 did a great job with the installation. The Az Sun Services staff was very informative and kept me up to date as things changed and progressed. From the start we were happy with the services that were provided. I'd like to add that if you need a roof, they can help you with that as well.

Let me start by saying I have been in sales myself for over 35 years, the last 20 in the financial markets. So I did my due diligence and spoke with and met several solar companies. When I met Anthony the owner at Aneva I knew I found the right company. He's very honest and not high pressure like so many of the other companies. The rest of the office is exceptional as well. I truly believe this is the best solar company in the entire valley. I have not had my system installed yet and i will update my review once it's installed in approximately 60 days.( Waiting on APS and city of Peoria) All the companies told me about the same time frame.
Do yourself a favor and talk with at least 3-5 solar companies and than call Aneva. I GUARANTEE YOU WILL CHOOSE ANEVA! If you don't you will have sold yourself short. In my case I had talked with well over 5 and found they were all high pressure. You can save yourself time after getting educated with one or two presentations and proposals at home by calling and talking to the companies on the phone to get their proposals. You will get a real good feel for the companies and than call Aneva. Just don't commit to anyone before calling Aneva. I actually had signed a contract with the first company that came out because the salesman said he would give me 10 days to cancel as opposed to the 3 days by law. I told him I was going to be be doing my due diligence and I asked him if he would give me a better price. He said he couldn't and that I was getting their best offer. When I called in to cancel I ended up speaking with one of the owners who suddenly lowered their price by $5,000. Yes you heard that right. At this point I did not care if what price they quoted me. That was very shady and it became an integrity issue with me. By the way this company was still priced higher than Aneva with cheaper panels and an inferior warranty. If I had not educated myself and had the background of being in sales for 35 years I would have fallen prey to this first companies nice presentation and the likability of the sales rep. I mention all of this so that you don't get fooled. If you trust me just save yourself time and call Aneva and be done with it. But if you want to experience what I did and feel really good about your decision, call Aneva last after all your other proposals and you will want to thank me.
I was quoted higher prices with cheaper panels and many of those companies don't even employ their installers, they sub it out. At Aneva everyone is an employee and Anthony the owner will be overseeing the crew that installs your job. The way Anthony explained to me how the install will take place was phenomenal. It will be very clean without all those conduit lines running across my roof like you see with other companies workmanship.(Start looking at other solar jobs and you will see what I mean)
Most of the sales people in this industry know very little and work on commission and will tell you anything to get the job done, and once you commit to them, you are just a number and they are onto the next potential client. Trust me i spoke with so many of these guys and when I told them I was looking elsewhere, they got very rude and tried to make me feel stupid or use scare tactics. You won't get any of that with Aneva.
I was quoted with top of the line LG industry leading panels, at a lower price than most of these companies with lower rated panels and workmanship. I could have gotten these lower priced panels with Aneva for even less than what these other companies were offering, but I went for the higher quality, and again I am saving money with the LG's over the other cheaper brands I was quoted. In doing my homework, I found Aneva and was influenced by the other reviews I read. I am so happy I met Anthony and had him come out. You won't feel any pressure, just peace and confidence that you have finally met your solar company.
I don't know any other way to say this without sounding rude or insensitive, but if you're in the market for solar and don't at least call Aneva, you're being VERY foolish.

My wife and I had been looking at putting solar on our west valley home since we purchased it in 2017. We are seasonal residents who will likely move here full time in the future. In early 2018 I began looking at companies to take on our project. We had proposals for 5 kw to 12 kw systems. We had proposals from 4 different companies but never felt right about any of them.
December 30, 2018 I started researching other companies since we wanted to get this project done this year. I ran across Black Platinum Solar on the internet and started digging in deeper to learn more. They had very good reviews but I am always skeptical about what I read. My first contact with the company was Jan 2 via email. I got a very quick reply - good sign. I learned they are a smaller firm; family owned and operated. I had several email exchanges and then phone conversations. I learned what products they use and why. My main phone contact was John. He spent a significant amount of time explaining what they do and why. He encouraged as many questions as I could think of on our first call. At that time I told him I needed to digest the data he provided and we would talk again the next day.
We did talk the next day and for the next couple of days with John patiently answering all my questions while asking me more to learn about what we were looking for in a system. We discussed my interest in having someone look at our roof for suitability of the coating on our flat roof. John sent one of his sub contractors who specializes in roofing to look it over. The roof was ok but he offered some suggestions and options I really liked and we added a coating for the roof to the project.
We were also interested in adding a pool heater for our pool. Again John had a source for us. We received a proposal and decided to add that as well. The proposal was less than one we had received in December and the proposed equipment was first class. Needless to say we added that to the project. After discussing our complete project in detail we settled on a 13.2 kw system. John and his team prepared the proposal Jan 8 which we read over and signed that day.
John and the team got to work obtaining all permits and working with the various regulatory bodies. They coordinated all the work - roofing, pool heater and solar installation. They have the process down extremely well. After a bit of rain, the project kicked off in earnest Jan 14. The roofing company worked side by side with the Black Platinum team getting the roof ready and the mounts installed. Permits were obtained, hardware installed, systems connected and inspections completed. Our project was commissioned Jan 28 and we began producing energy at 1:30 pm that day.
All the people at Black Platinum were great to work with. Our thanks to John, Toni, Johnny, Joann, Dan and the rest of the crew. This was one of the best and easiest projects I have ever been involved for residential or commercial.
For those who read this far, I can only say from our experience, it would be hard to go wrong using Black Platinum Solar. I would be happy to converse privately with anyone interested in learning more about our project.

We meticulously considered and researched all our options when making the investment in a solar system, from size of array to brand and type of inverter. Ultimately we chose Rooftop Solar and Hanwha microinverter panels, and though the price was higher than the competing bid, we're really glad with the choice, both for technological reasons and for the company's ethos and practice. Rooftop kept us fully on board with things we wanted to have a say in (the aesthetics of the design and layout) and handled all the red tape and bureaucracy so we didn't have to (inspections from the city and APS, etc.) We came out with an 18-panel array that actually *looks good* on the house as well as reaps a ton of energy from the sun. It's also worth mentioning that everyone at Rooftop is really, really pleasant to work with--they are friendly, positive, kind, laid-back yet professional, and deeply rooted in and invested in the community and the cause of cleaner energy. Recommend wholeheartedly.

The service we received was great. Thy were able to come to work on our solar water heater had an issue. Many other places don't even work on solar water heaters. Kent and Steve came when they said they would, called when they said they would and were terrific to work with. I would recommend them to anyone and have been give a recommendation to family and friends. Thanks Kent and Steve for you great work.

Have worked with these guys to get solar for my home. Very professional and very knowledgeable. They also gave me a lower price than the other company that came and showed me what they had. They gave me a low 2.99 interest rate on my solar. I will recommend them to any and all my friends and family.

Very pleased with Harmon Elec/Solar. Customer Serv. in my honest opinion is top notch. Jessica was amazing! Technical component very good. Initially, there was a minor glitch in the system which , no fault of the installer but a product defect on inverter. Harmon immediately responded and got the system on tract . Enjoying the savings on utility bills which would have been sky high if we stayed same with just APS. A wise decision to go solar and most importantly went with a reputable company like Harmon
They were highly recommended. Thank you!

I happened to need some assistance hanging new light fixtures in my living room. The challenge was my vaulted ceilings. When choosing someone on Yelp I always look at the reviews. I chose Apollo as it had 5 stars with a number of positive reviews. The other thing that stood out was the long family business history over the span of a number of years.
I was not disappointed as Matt was responsive and communicated any updates. He and his team arrived on-time and were knowledgeable, professional and displayed good customer service. In this day and age you don't always get the service that you expect but Apollo Electric does not disappoint.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. They took over a year to get my system installed and it was like pulling teeth to get any reimbursement from them. I've had to report them to the BBB several times. This company must work for Walt Disney because it's some Mickey Mouse operation. I'll be reporting this again and to yelp.

We researched several solar companies and ended up selecting Solar City because they listened to our needs and proposed a system that most efficiently met them. Our Energy Consultant, Ryan did a great job explaining the process to us, being realistic on timing for each step, and detailing options for expansion in the future (battery, etc). The field engineer, Heath, arrived as scheduled for the field measurements and turned them over to the design team who quickly pulled the final system plan together for our review and approval. Solar City did a great job handling the application and permitting processes with our utility company (APS) and led me through the HOA approval process seamlessly.
With the mass push for everyone to get their solar systems installed, the initial Solar City installation timing was pushed out several weeks, but after talking with the Installation Scheduler, they were able to improve upon the schedule by 3-1/2 weeks. Zach and his installation crew arrived as planned, reviewed everything with me including their area isolation plans to ensure the safety of their workforce and my family. The installation team was great, completed their work in a day, and they cleaned up the area after showing me the initial results from the solar panel performance to ensure system performance would meet/exceed the initial design plans. A few roof tiles were cracked during the installation process so they let me know the follow-up crew would be out soon to replace and address any other details.
The system passed building inspection and while waiting for the final APS approval, Tony and the follow-up team came out, sampled, sourced, then replaced the cracked roof tiles, rechecked the panel mounts, ensured everything was level, and recleaned the panels. Since our house roof tiles have been discontinued, they left us with a few extras for future use just in case!
The only thing left to do is turn on the system once the utility company gives final approval and adds their meter. Solar City has been a great company to work with so far and our Energy Consultant has been top notch with his communications and follow-up. We've gotten through the inspection process ahead of the initial installation timing which is great, because its late June in Phoenix and we can't wait to start saving in the Arizona summer heat. I'll update this review later if anything changes, but we're looking forward to continued great customer service!
