Best Solar Panels in Arizona

Solar City is the best solar company we used. They were incredible from start to finish. They have a great team of professionals that are knowledgeable and friendly. From the first contact to the final installation, Solar City was there with us every step of the way. They answered all of our questions and walked us through the entire process. We are extremely satisfied with the outcome and highly recommend Solar City to anyone interested in going solar.

When I was researching solar companies to hire for my home I found Solar Shark to be the best one out there as far as service , panel quality, craftsmanship, and customer service. I have a busy schedule but they made meeting with them easy and convenient through a comprehensive and step by step virtual presentation. I felt very comfortable with the entire process of understanding how solar works, their product quality, the savings that are enjoyed with solar power, and the fact they had a solid organization I could rely on.

We shopped several companies for solar panels and came up with multiple quotes that varied by 10s of thousands of dollars.  It was frustrating as we tried to sort out what was right and what was a sales gimmick. Trying to understand the differences in price some companies used terms like "it's the way we balance the system" "it's difficult for the consumer to understand" and several other sales pitches. We found none of it to be true and passed time and time again.

We got in touch with Marty at Argent solar and were immediately impressed by how forthcoming he was. We asked questions we knew the answers to and he gave us the answer you would expect from a friend, not a sales guy.  When the quote came in we had plenty to compare it to and we found Argent to be priced well below most of the competition, using as good or better quality rated panels.  When other companies seemed to be adding the tax credits to their price, Argent was not.  

During the installation Diego and his team were prompt, professional and knowledgeable. At each step of the process they were on top of it, coming out the day after APS and city of Phoenix approved the install to power up the system.

Anyone looking at solar should give Marty, Diego and the Team at Argent an opportunity to provide a quote. I am incredibly happy I did.

Aaron was the guy for me who came out and did my estimates, testing and duct sealing and he was super friendly and knowledgeable. Will be doing an insulation top off in the future through them as they are affordable as well. Thanks!

Horrible customer service 0 follow up. Loan funded for $59 k 2 months ago and still no operating solar. It's been 6 months and I regret ever letting them in my house. Be careful who you get solar through. All they care about is money not providing the product they promise. Instead of saving money we now pay our regular aps bill and our loan payment with no solar.

Greg at Scottsdale Solar was great. All work was completed exactly as he said it would be and in the time frame he specified. My monthly saving are even slightly better than expected.

From my personal experience, I can say that Truvo is an excellent company that truly cares about their customers. They had a team of professional roofers who were willing to go the extra mile.

I highly recommend Truvo to anyone in need of roofing services. Whether you need a new roof installed or just a repair.

I would not recommend this solar company. Initially we liked the salesman and had a great experience. We were excited to work with them as they seemed very professional and, while more expensive than another company we received a quote from, they seemed more trustworthy. Our solar took 6 months to turn on when we were told 6-10 weeks. We did not have good communication from the company regarding the delay. We asked for updates and were still not receiving them. They promised to change and would write an update every other business day and that still did not happen! All in all, we were very disappointed with the process. The only bright side is the installation crew was prompt and did a good job. I would not choose this company again.

They helped me design a system that would be right for me. They didn't oversell me.

The installation went smoothly except for one hiccup. The installer didn't check to see where the bathroom vent pipe was located. After he cut the hole for the charge controller panel he found it. So instead of putting it in a better spot, it wound up with a surface mount box. It's ugly.

UPDATE:

They called in another installer. He found many serious wiring and installation problems and had to remove and reinstall most of the system! Well, all was good until this week when we took the camper in a road trip. We started noticing a strong odor from the black tank. After much searching and aggravation, we discovered the the original installer they had working on our camper had damaged the seal around the soil stack. Owner states he is no longer using that installer.

Great service from Nick and his company, I literally texted him nextdoor this morning, he responded very fast, and was at my house in 2 hours to fix our AC unit, now it starts and operates much better, much quieter. Fair pricing. Arrived on time. Technician was in and out pretty fast.  Panels look great

We purchased our home in Arizona last year and we weren't considering to purchase solar - as it was an added cost.  But Raymond sat with us more than once to explain the benefits and the rates for purchasing solar. Raymond processes a high level of expertise and you can tell that he loves his job!  He's not only selling you the best product, he's educating as well. If you care about the environment and you want to save money on your electric bill, let Raymond tell you about solar and you too can save!

Initial steps of evaluating and sales went more smoothly than I could have reasonably expected. Greg had honest answers to all questions and suggested a few questions that had not occurred to me. No overly-aggressive or unscrupulous salesmanship, just honest assessments of the pros and cons of solar installation. Strongly recommend this company.

Had a solar pool heating system and variable speed pump installed on April 16. David Phelps even made a return visit to our home to help us reconfigure the system to our liking. The process was so easy and the company so upfront with explanations and cost. We appreciate the integrity of this family run business. Modern City Solar is a great company! Very easy to deal with, they were so helpful from start to finish.
This was one of the best overall experiences I've had with a vendor.  The sales agent that came in was so informative and the way he did the presentation sold us right away. Payments, loan terms and warranty information were easy to understand. No hidden figures or small print. The approval for the lease was done on the spot. Signing up for it was a breeze.
The installation process quick and clean. They kept us informed throughout the whole process and answered all my questions. They kept me updated  on the status and informed me what to expect. Very flexible with my schedule. Their answering service is always available and return calls right away, they won't leave you hanging. The girl who answers the phone is knowledgeable and gets things going right away. Modern City Solar people have it together. If you are looking for a solar company and want the best possible experience be sure and choose Modern City Solar. I would recommend them to manage your solar installations

Sunrun was great for the sales, the installation, and for fixing a broken roof tile. That was after 2 weeks and multiple calls to get the roof repair handled. Sunrun's customer service and service transfer department are horrible. Hold times are 2.5 hours, I was hung up on, and they're the reason my home sale was delayed, costing me 3600 in extension costs. I'm currently sitting on hold, on a separate day, to try and get them to finish the service transfer or respond to an email. Solar is great. Sunrun is not.

Not a bargain! Shop around. We didn't and found out too late that Erus does not have the best prices.
They're in no hurry to get you hooked up. Purchased in Oct, 2018. Finally installed Jan, 2019.
Now we have leaks in the roof under the panels. Not blaming them for the leak. But, although Erus advertises maintenance and repair, their prices for those services are unreal. They charge $256 per panel to remove and reinstall. We have 18 panels. You can do the math. A neighbor bought his system from Tesla. Tesla will remove and reinstall his 16 panels for $500 flat!
We are not happy campers!
