We were having a heck of a time finding someone who was interested in fixing a really bad oven hood install from a previous owner (anyone who says flippers are adding value hasn't been inside a flip) basically a good hood was installed poorly and it didn't vent to anywhere and so on.

Michael came out to provide an estimate the same day and came back a two days later to complete the work.

Anyway. We have a solar inverter that looked like it might be blocking our exit and we live in a 100 year old adobe over Brick. The wall we needed to get through ended up being three layers of Brick thick with steel plating partially blocking our vent out. He talked through the added labor needs and still finished the job same day. The hood vent works great.

We didn't ask for any cosmetic repair so we can't speak to any finish work, but the job was done right and on time and with these old houses so much can go against the plan. Micheal did a great job.

Eric is a very knowledgeable handyman. I told him what I wanted with a vision of my own and he put it to life. He is very honest about the hours that he works and his rates are very reasonable. With the fimal result that I received I am very happy with what he finished in my bathroom.

Our Kitchen Remodel was a long process, but the new custom cabinets, counter tops, electrical, drywall, plumbing, appliances, and painting process were finally completed.
The Backsplash, over the cooktop and counter, was the last step.
We contacted several installers from lists provided by the tile stores.
We received no return calls.
Finally, we decided to try Yelp. Our Yelp search for Backsplash installers listed Golden Bear Contracting.
We called Michael, the owner of Golden Bear Contracting.
He answered our call and said he could come out that afternoon and give us a quote.
We wanted to show Michael the tile we had selected and also the Mosaic we had purchased to go over the cooktop.
The Mosaic contained thousands of really small tiles, and we wanted to be sure Michael could install it.
He answered all of our questions about installing the Mosaic and gave us a few suggestions on outlining the Mosaic with darker Pencil tiles.
We decided on the spot that Michael was the contractor to do our installation.
He gave us a date about two-weeks out for the installation and we shook hands on the deal.
Michael arrived on the promised day at exactly 8am and got right to work.
The job was finished, as promised, around noon the next day.
Everything, including the mosaic, went perfectly.
The grouting and the tile sealing went smoothly and the finished product looks absolutely great.
His cleanup was spotless and we couldn't be more pleased with the results.
We'll be remodeling our master bathroom next and we had Michael look at the bathroom and make suggestions.
Turns out that he actually specializes in Bathroom remodels.
We were very impressed with our backsplash and also with his suggestions on the bathroom remodel.
We've decided to call Michael when we're ready to tackle the bathroom.
He is very professional, courteous, punctual and, when it comes to tile, he's Great.

He really worked  to get me the materials I wanted, showing he goes that extra mile. I now have an offer on my home and I look forward to having them re-do another bathroom for me. Alfredo and his team always do excellent high-quality work. We've had them rebuild the gables on our house, rebuild a covered patio on our casita, and replace several sections of warped and worn-out siding. Everything has turned out great and we're very pleased. We'll be happy to hire Alfredo's team to do more work for us in the future!

I've used Qualtire in the last 20 years for everything from very small plumbing fixes to complete bathroom remodels. Never received anything but impeccable service. This week my 80 year old house needed a little piping repair. Well, it's that holiday week between Christmas and New Year's. Wasn't sure what would happen. I found G's Hone Services on Yelp, requested a quote, he got back to me within 20mins of my request & quoted me a fair price. I hired him for the job & he nailed it. Great service, great work, I highly recommend.

We have used Ken for over a decade and on at least 15-20 projects.  Great guy with great communication skills.  Always happy with his work and his prices.  He has worked in our home while we on vacation and we never had any issues.  I have also flipped a couple houses and used Ken on those projects.  I would recommend him to anyone.

Work that should have been completed in 3 weeks took 4 months. The project manager scheduled work, but did not oversee work to ensure it was done properly. Work done was not professional (except for the electrician). Concerns were met with apologies or we were told it was industry standard. We expected the work to be done correctly or corrected and it wasn't.  Very disappointed in the quality of work.

I just wrapped up my 3rd job with JM Contracting and we couldn't be happier!!! The first job Josh (owner) did for me was our back patio roof. We discussed a drainage issue and out of all of the other bids I obtained and telling them all the same issue, Josh was the ONLY one that suggested we get an architect/engineer to address the problem. He naturally got my bid! Josh got on top of the drainage issue and once the engineer/architect (Quincy) did his calculations, pictures, etc. we came up with a solution. Josh was able to do the entire job, also addressing an issue with my sagging roof that was putting all its weight on my french door lintels which required shoring it up and stabilizing it, he stayed just outside of our original budget.
We have had NO problems with drainage since and that has saved my master bedroom floor!

Josh remodeled my master bathroom and my father's bathroom within the past 4 months as well. The outcome is stellar!!! Our bathrooms now look like they came right off of HGTV! No kidding! I highly recommend JM Contracting for all your contracting jobs. Josh is great to work with, his team (including his subs) are spot on too. Josh oversees everything and he is a total prefectionist...a keen eye for detail and making sure it looks 110% perfect!  Thanks Josh for such great work! We will be using him for our next remodel of our kitchen and our pool decking too!

Mike Roberts and his team worked with us to remodel our kitchen, laundry room and family room. All of them were great to work with and they really listened our ideas, questions and suggestions. Every issue identified was quickly solved and everything was completed in a timely manner. The best review I can give this company is the following statement: We have two bathrooms to remodel and we will be using them again!.

I had a Sales Consultant provide a quote on a small stucco job on January 18th. The consultant was nearly 2 hours late past HIS stated arrival time for the appointment of 9:45 AM. Upon reviewing the quote, it was nearly $700 more than the next highest bid. Needless to say, I did not go with TWD, as they obviously do not value the customer's time or input. The owners responded to a review on Google, claiming to have time stamped photos of my home at 10:35 AM. I have phone logs, showing the estimator didn't arrive until nearly 2 hours after his stated arrival time. I got a phone call at 10:31 AM saying he was on his was way (which btw, he arrived at 11:10 AM), so how is it possible for them to have time stamped photos? Stay away, they obviously are liars!!
