Michael was great. He came out quickly to remove and repair some moldy drywall in my bathroom. He walked me through all of his steps, offered me great tips on my project, and did a great job with the project. He really when above and beyond, and was very responsive. Highly recommend, two thumbs up!

Just moved into our home and needed to have a door installed and some drywall work done to make it look right. Eric was absolutely phenomenal, and we are very particular (the home is brand new). His work is flawless, and looks as if it was that way originally.

Great handyman, we will hire again if anything else comes up. Highly recommend.

Hired Golden Bear to remodel master bath and second bathroom in March 2020.  I gave it 5 stars so you can read about my experience and who this guy really is.  You decide.

Mike and his partner did all the tile work, plumbing, electrical and some touchup painting themselves, no subcontractors - with the exception of the glass shower wall/doors, which everyone subcontracts. Overall, I'm pleased with the outcome.  They were very easy to work with, which is why I hired them.  On several occasions Michael saved me from my bad ideas.  

But there were issues around the finishing details. I had to go over the work and point out with stick notes many finishing details like at the base of the cabinets, grout cleanup in corners and rough finishing edges.  Overall in the end the master bath came out great.

But in the second bath the amount of grout clean up issues were extensive.  For some reason they decided to change the color of the grout without my consent and it looked terrible. I was told the color would change after it dries.  

Well the grout color did not change when it dried, the color they used what not what I selected.  Michael stop taking my calls after he admitted they used the wrong color and said they would come back and fix it.   I had to hire a tile company to change the color of the grout.

I do recommend that Michael hire someone to do the finishing work he does not like doing.  Would I hire him again or recommend him - NO.

I found Aqua Therapy Tubs so awesome to work with. Derek is very professional, prompt and is very clear with the proposal. He really worked  to get me the materials I wanted, showing he goes that extra mile. I now have an offer on my home and I look forward to having them re-do another bathroom for me. No need to call anyone else!!

I hired them to remove a load bearing wall from my house, I wanted to make sure whoever I hired knew what they were doing since it's such an intricate job, Alfredo showed up to give me an estimate and was very professional and knowledgeable, we agreed on a price, two weeks later his crew showed up, they were super clean, put plastic on all my walls/furniture/flooring to protect it from dust, they got to work and did a fantastic job, I'll definitely keep their contact info for future projects

I've used Qualtire in the last 20 years for everything from very small plumbing fixes to complete bathroom remodels. Never received anything but impeccable service. This week my 80 year old house needed a little piping repair. Well, it's that holiday week between Christmas and New Year's. Wasn't sure what would happen. A couple of hours later, the Owner (Dennis) showed up. Not to quote me...to do the work! I'm impressed! That's why I use this company exclusively on my household work. They do it all.

I found G's Hone Services on Yelp, requested a quote, he got back to me within 20mins of my request & quoted me a fair price. I hired him for the job & he nailed it. Great service, great work, I highly recommend.

We have used Ken for over a decade and on at least 15-20 projects.  Great guy with great communication skills.  Always happy with his work and his prices.  He has worked in our home while we on vacation and we never had any issues.  I have also flipped a couple houses and used Ken on those projects.  I would recommend him to anyone.

I hired Jeremy for several projects around my house. Some small , some large. Remodeled the entire front of my house with stacked stone and fresh stucco where needed. He put in new lights in the back and front of the house. He did electrical work in my garage and even got my pool light working again. He built a new shelf in my back yard along with a few other extras! Jeremy and his crew were outstanding in everything that they did. Anything I wanted done he made work. The word no was not in his vocabulary.  I am using them again next year for my bathroom remodels. Do not hesitate to hire this company. The best contractors I have ever worked with! We used ACR for our master bathroom renovation and had them do the flooring on the staircase and second level as well. We have not had great experiences in the past with renovations, but this was different. James came out and listened to what we wanted done. He helped us decide what would look best in the space we had and was responsive over the next few weeks to answer questions and get the design figured out. The quote was reasonable as well. Keith was great at communicating during the entire project so I knew when and who was going to be working each day. He made sure everything was done how we wanted and didn't cut corners as we had run into in the past with other companies.  Fred did our plumbing and also communicated well with a couple changes that were needed and involved me in decisions. Dan did an amazing job with the tile for the floor and shower. He was very detail oriented. Our flooring crew worked fast and hard long days to complete it quickly. The flooring and trim turned out very nice. I would definitely use them again.

No show, no call and when called, indicated he arranged an hour window to arrive, which is not true.  This appointment was made with him not through a service or other staff.  Total disregard for your time and your work schedule and with something as simple as arriving on time for a meeting in which he set the time, take note people.

I see in reviews, a lady didn't get reference from Martin.  I have since told Martin he may give out my cell number by request.  I was 100% satisfied by the workmanship and courtesy of his team.  He is a busy business and communicates via text.  I am sure if you text him, you will get a reply back.  I am already saving my money for the next project for Martin at my house.

I engaged 2nd Avenue Design by email in February. I specifically asked if they did engineering. Michael at 2nd Ave responded by email saying, yes this is something we do a lot. I subsequently met with Michael. He came to my home and we discussed the project. He said he would write a bid for the job. This is where we started to have problems with communication and follow up. I had to ask for the bid after it was due. Miraculously he sent it after I asked.
I decided to use 2nd Ave and gave a deposit to start the process with the agreement that work would begin by June 1st. Between my first contact with Michael at 2nd Ave and now (July 15th) I've had to hound him for updates and communication.
He said he was having a difficult time finding an engineer. He brought one by finally (an engineer who he never worked with) and the engineer kept asking me what I wanted and he had no solutions except to put large obtrusive posts and beams in after jackhammering my foundation. Clearly this is not what I discussed with Michael and it was clearly a lazy solution for the engineer.
No work has ever been started and my last text to Michael on July 5th was ignored until July 14th when I texted again and asked for my deposit back.
I'm sure 2nd Ave is good at ripping out your old kitchen and putting a new one in when it's just new cabinets and appliances. But they definitely are not your company if you need any thought put into your project.
I would not recommend 2nd Avenue Design for any project other than anything very simple.

We had a leak in our upstairs bathroom that resulted in a plumber cutting a hole in our downstairs ceiling. TWD patched the drywall like new. Very pleased with the work.
