We have used Michael for a number of tasks including recently repairing and replacing the closet doors throughout our home. He is detailed, on time and does great work. We will definitely continuing using Michael for work around our home

The wax ring was bad on upstairs toilet and water damage was happening under our tiles damaging the sub floor. The rotted ply wood was replaced and new tiles placed. Amazing work. They were reliable. Efficient, affordable, and communicated well.

Strangely, my wife's review was in the non-recommended area.  In any case, I've posted our bathroom photos, the workmanship speaks for itself.  

Mike and his partner did all the tile work, plumbing, electrical and some touchup painting themselves, no subcontractors - with the exception of the glass shower wall/doors, which everyone subcontracts.  Overall, we are VERY pleased with the outcome.

They were on time every single day and completed the project in just under the estimated time of two weeks.  Would have finished even sooner, had the shower door people not needed about a week and a half after measuring (pretty standard - we had a different contractor do our other bathroom and it was a two week wait as well).  
As said, a great job and we plan to call him about our kitchen, hopefully late this year, finances permitting.

These guys were great for my mothers place. We met them at the home show and were impressed by the quality of the tub. After meeting with Derek for a consultation, they were very reasonable compared with other estimates we got.  They got this tub installed in 1 day!  It was crazy to see the transformation happen so quickly. My mother loves this thing and is super grateful for the workmanship. My mom even said they followed up a week later to make sure she was happy with the product still.

Great experience all around - hired for a framing job and liked the work so much we used them for additional work. Top notch quality and reliability. Good find!!

I am been with this company for a few years and all I can say is that it is a great place to hang your license and the broker is awesome !!

Geremy installed floating wood shelves in the kitchen and did a good job. They're sturdy and look good, but could have been finished better in the end. Putty was left to dry and I had to have my handyman sand it all down as well as add more where there were some noticeable gaps at joints. I didn't ask Geremy come back to finish because it wasn't the end of the world to have to have someone else finish, it just would have been nice if he had completed the job himself. There was also an incident where he accidentally leaned against the stove knobs, turned on the burner and melted plastic on my brand new stove top that had never been used. It wasn't able to be cleaned up complete which is a bummer, but the worst part is he didn't tell me about it- I had to hear from my handman.

I hired him for a second job- a pergola over my back patio. After he rescheduled a couple of times and then didn't show up another one or two times, he finally came, but came so late in the day that he ran out of time and couldn't install my string lights. I went ahead and paid him the full amount for the job but I've never been able to get him to come back to finish the lights that he said he'd be back to hang the following day. After a lot of excuses, several texts and a phone call and continuing to tell me he'd come back to hang them, he still hasn't finished the job. I've been waiting since May 20th and now he isn't responding to my messages at all.

It's a shame because his work is good, but reliability and communication are terrible.

Ken was a true professional. He was prompt, called before he showed and was prepared for the job.  He brought ideas to the table I had not considered, which in turn made the outcome that much more impressive.  He is incredibly skilled at his work.  He takes his time, is thoughtful, and above all, takes pride in his work.  We were extremely happy with the work he did and continue to hire him for additional jobs.  We will of course refer him to everyone we know as well!  Thanks Ken!!!

I had Jeremy out to do work on my house in 2020 during the beginning of the pandemic. I selected him after an exhausting review of handyman/contractors (as I had already been taken to the cleaners by my HOA & insurance recommended contractor). Jeremy was a breath of fresh air and even more knowledgeable & HONEST than the writeups depicted. His rates were fair, he listened when discussing issues, he knew his stuff, had a great team (himself, Oscar, & Dustin) and did an outstanding job! [Myriad of work performed: Installed - exhaust fan, wall drop table, handicap bar outside shower; repaired good-sized window frame leak; restored deck ceiling and cracks due to excessive downstairs jackhammering after flooding (no one else even wanted to come out & look at the deck. Jeremys team came out and acted like no big deal (with no huge price tag - they were wonderful)! Cemented light crumbling of stair edges; & patched up rusting around tub overflow valve]. I found Jeremy to be in high demand, but definitely worth the wait. Thank you, stellar job Jeremy and team. You Rock!

We decided to remodel our guest bathroom and after meeting with James Underwood with Advanced Custom Renovations we gave them the green light. Could not have been happier with our choice.  Their prices are very  reasonable. The entire crew was punctual, professional and very friendly. Our personal project manager Eddie was awesome, checking every day and making sure we were completely satisfied with the project. I  highly recommend them and will use their services again in the future.

No show, no call and when called, indicated he arranged an hour window to arrive, which is not true.  This appointment was made with him not through a service or other staff.  Total disregard for your time and your work schedule and with something as simple as arriving on time for a meeting in which he set the time, take note people.

Martin and his team are some of the best in the Valley!! They are so kind, thoughtful, respectful, and genuinely kind people. We are so pleased with all the work they helped us with, including a new fireplace and surround, wainscoting, whole home painting, lighting, shiplap, and many other projects! Simply put, Mike Roberts and his team did a phenomenal job on our kitchen. We are completely thrilled with our results, and are very indebted to Mike and his team. Every aspect of the process was agreeable for us, from the original quote, to length of construction, to payment plan. Mike communicated very well and let my wife and I know what would be happening when. As this was my first major renovation, the certain power of horror stories from friends who have undergone similar renovations really biased my view against having such a major project done in my home. Mike reassured me, and followed through. He was communicative, had solid follow up, addressed my questions as I went along, and generally had subcontractors there when they needed to be there. He was also sensitive to the needs of a historic home, and the finished product, although modern, really does work well with the historic façade. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mike Roberts and the Second Avenue design team when considering your next home remodel.

Todd Whittaker Crew was nothing short of professional and caring. From drywall, stucco, to painting and cleaning services, the A+Team delivered on time the laborious and tedious  renovation.
