Best General Contractors in Phoenix, AZ

I had a plumbing leak under my slab in my living room.  After the leak was fixed, I had water damage to most of my hardwood floors.  I contracted with Gurr Brothers to replace the old floors and replace them with vinyl planking.  I could not be happier with the work that was performed.  Specifically, the two workers from Gurr Brothers, Earl Hines and Vic Fundora, did a fantastic job.  They answered all my questions and were a pleasure to work with, very professional.  I would definitely use this company again.

Bryce at HBO Construction was great! He was responsive, on time, and did great work on our bathroom shower.

After several estimates, we knew Bryce was the guy for the job. He was fair and knowledgeable without giving us a crazy dollar amount to do the job.

Fantastic work.  Skilled, polite, professional, honest, and efficient.
Darren retiled our shower area to the ceiling and a difficult off square window next to our shower perfectly.
He was always on time, produced excellent work, worked quickly and was a pleasure to work with.  My wife and I have dogs & we both work from home, Darren was so easy to work with because of his attention to detail. Beyond his skill, he would mix materials, or make necessary prep of tiles or drywall in our garage so as not to disturb the household.  He was friendly with our dogs, clean, and he genuinely enjoyed listening to our music in the house while he worked.  My wife and I recommend him to anyone looking for a top level tile installation pro in the North Phoenix area.  We will absolutely recommend him to anyone & use Darren again in the future for projects.

We had a roof leak into a very small space behind our water heater. There was small water damage and a bit of mold. Other companies quoted us $1700-2700 because they wanted to remove the water heater. Elias was able to do it for a third of the price without removing the water heater! He was a great contractor to work with- let me know when he was on the way and was very understanding of our wanting to keep costs down. He did a great repair job and we plan to ask him to help us with other projects in the house. Thanks Elias!

Tony his team literally saved me from a nightmare.  I hired someone who was getting their company up and going to make my brick wall higher in my backyard.  It was originally only 5ft tall and everyone could see in my backyard. This new company completely botched the wall and was not unstained it correctly.  I had to fire them on the spot but they've already created such a mess.  I contacted Tony to come check out the horrible job to see if he could provide me a estimate. He came out the next day and let me know what all needed to be done to correct the issue and finish the job.  The estimate was a fairly priced for the work ahead.  I agreed and he came back the next day with his team.  They had my wall done within hours which included reinforcing and correcting the problem from the first company.  He was super professional,  cleaned up their mess ALONG with the previous company mess  and the communication was great. I highly recommend Aldana Renovation

Keith and his crew were awesome from start to finish. I worked with Keith to complete a kitchen and master shower renovation. The tile work by Carlos is simply the BEST I've seen. The guy measures twice and cuts once and it all fits perfect. Paul the plumber knows his job inside and out!! The electricians used were great as well, despite the spray foam insulation they were able to put in new outlets and move others.

Keith is a hands on GC that goes above and beyond to make you happy as a customer. His easy professional style  is beyond his years in the industry.

We called Mario and team for the rescue for a failed DIY flooring project. Mario came for an estimate timely and the team was there to rescue us within the week and finish the work in 2 days! 10/10 company. Ray and Tatum are experts with home renovations and have great personable skills. Their company has done several home projects for clients of mine. They can do something as simple as repairs all the way to building you your own custom home. When you think General Contracting.. think Ray Ouellette.

Worker's were not on time and didn't even speak English! They looked at me like I was in a foreign country!

I contacted Red Ram about some major exterior remodeling work I'm having done. It includes building a large attached patio cover, re-siding my house, and installing a new roof.

Daniel came out to see the project space. He mentioned some alternative siding options I hadn't considered. I appreciated this because I believe the contractor is the materials expert, can make good recommendations, and it's important to me to find someone experienced in using/installing the products I ultimately decide to go with. He left me with a very positive impression. He said it would take a week or so to get me an estimate for the work and some estimates for the different siding options so I can make an informed cost/value determination on which product to go with.

It's been 3 weeks now and I haven't heard anything from Daniel or Red Ram. I tried calling to follow up but there was no answer and no call-back response to my voicemail. I understand this ultimately means he probably doesn't want my business but ghosting is inherently rude and ultimately unprofessional. A simple message saying this isn't a project we want to take on would be sufficient. This seems to be a common issue in the contracting world. To each her/his own, but based on my experience, I feel this company lacks integrity.
