Best Cabinets in Phoenix, AZ

J.R. Cabinet Works completely changed up our kitchen while retaining the original custom cabinets.  We stained our cabinets a dark espresso with just a hint of the former cherry glowing through.  The owner Jerry showed up with the other contractors to discuss coordination and timing.  Jerry took one of the cabinet doors for a test and discussed how the final result may look.  After we approved the sample, his crew arrived and finished the job in two days.  The crew was was efficient, on time, and cleaned up after.  JR came by after each step to personally inspect the results.

We love the results and look forward to working with JR and company again.

Jodi was very helpful and answered all my design questions. Install was scheduled for the following week. The installer was on time and cleaned up after he was done. The cabinets are high quality and look great, Thank you!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!  They screwed up their measurements so they couldn't finish our project. Promised to finish in a few weeks. Have been ignoring our follow up now for months. I shouldn't have to sue to get what I contracted for but it appears to be the only way to get my project finished. Shameful!!!!!

Seemed very nice and responsive at first.  Came to the house to see the job and write up a quote - never heard from him again.

Edit: Response to my review is misleading.  It was a project much larger than just countertops, and I found someone that was willing to do just the countertop if that's what made the most sense.  Skyler did not respond to this inquiry/suggestion.  It wasn't as if I waited 4 days, got impatient, and wrote a review.  I waited 13 days and not a peep.  Skyler did reach out to me with apologies after seeing the review, which I appreciate.

Yonathan and Edith are fantastic to deal with.  They respond quickly to questions and email/texts. We were going to have our bathtub refinished and ended up only needing an acid cleaning.  We appreciated their honesty and advice.  It's hard nowadays to find a company that does what they say they're going to do, give realistic estimates, show up on time, and do a total clean-up.  You won't be disappointed by using this dynamic duo!

We had our house remodeled after we bought it and wanted to save money, so we bought our cabinets from KC.  The customer service was outstanding and the prices were great for the product. We bought matching cabinets for our bathrooms and laundry room as well. We get compliments on our kitchen all the time.  

Just remember this is a wholesale place. Don't expect to get your cabinets installed by anyone there. They just sell the cabinets. You pay someone else (or do it yourself) to install the cabinets. Great quality wood, colors, and the no slam closures for the drawers are pretty neat features.

After much research and shopping around we chose Jeff with Stellar Kitchen and Bath for many reasons.
Our first time in the showroom we felt completely comfortable with him and his wife, they are very friendly and very knowledgeable. He was able to answer every question I had and seemed to know exactly what I wanted, he also had great input about things that I hadn't thought about.
Let me tell you, he transformed not only my kitchen but my whole house!  Everyone that was involved in the renovation was so amazing! The workmanship of everything was spot on, never had to call anyone back out to fix mistakes as it was done right the first time.
I have ZERO complaints.  
Jeff was very professional, always answered my calls and emails.
Everything he told me was what took place, there were no surprises or excuses. He was a man of his word and delivered an amazing end product!  
We are beyond happy and would happily recommend him and definitely will be doing our bathroom with him next.

The only reason I am giving this company two stars is because the finished product (after going to hell and back), turned out beautiful.  But, that is the product, and not the customer service or workmanship.  

I was originally referred to the salesman that we used by a friend of mine that does many remodeling jobs.  I interviewed him (I'll call him X) and liked the product samples and the pricing he gave me.  

In the beginning I was unsure of the brand and type of cabinets I wanted and was guided to the decision I finally made by the owner of the company, who was very helpful.  I chose the brand Sollid and went with the MDF.  There are many pros and cons of using the MDF, but in the end, I believe I made the right choice.  

It would take me too much time to completely detail my experience so here are some highlights:

Miscommunication during the designing process.  We had to go back and forth for WEEKS until the final design could be approved.  If I was not the type of person that paid attention to detail, we would have had a very different kitchen than what I wanted, and the wrong sizes of bases and uppers would have been delivered.

Miscommunication with the salesman about where to put the product (garage/inside the house) when it was delivered.  This was an issue because the cabinets couldn't be stored inside the house before they were installed because the drywall guy was not finished with his job.  I was told I would be called when the cabinets came and and was not given enough notice.  

During the installation process, the Installer left out key pieces and they had to be ordered - which caused a two week delay in our job - pushing all the other vendors back out.  This was a MAJOR screw up.  There was trim that was missing and a bottom that was the wrong size.  X blamed me because that is what I wanted.  Well, yes, that was what I wanted, but if he knew it wasn't going to fit, why in the world would you order it????

After writing a three page letter to the owner of the company, all I got was a patronizing response.  Never once did they apologize for the screw-ups or offer me any compensation for my time and trouble.

I understand that during any remodeling job things don't always go smoothly, but this wasn't my first rodeo.  I was testing this company out because I come into people all the time in my business that want referrals for vendors.  This company failed miserably.

Steve and Steve are awesome! They have done a couple of projects for me already and I have been very satisfied with everything they've done. They're  very accessible and really want to help make your ideas come to life. I would definitively use them again and would recommend them highly!

Wow! We love Modern Innovations. My wife and I were contemplating purchasing a new home until the market went crazy. We had a dream for our home and Irving brought it to light. No job is too big for him. Irving and his team are beyond respectful, hard working and responsible. He set proper expectations and exceeded our timeline/vision. He renovated our entire kitchen and we're in love with it. Everyone who comes over comments on it and how beautiful it looks. Irving does the job like he's doing it for his home. We're having him come back to renovate our bathrooms/fireplace. We can't recommend Modern Innovations enough!!

Had high hopes to receive at least a quote from Sabin the owner for a demo / rebuilt of a portion of my kitchen.  But after prompted to email him with details,  still no response over a week later :(.  Actually no response to email or text messaging. Bummer. Hard to find reliable contractors these days....

We had a relatively small job - replacing toe kicks in the bathroom.  Oak Craft Cabinets, who supplied the cabinets, recommended Cornerstone, who is one of their dealers.  Chris [owner] agreed to do it despite its small size.  Several issues cropped up pre-installation which were successfully resolved.  The installer, Tim, did a beautiful job and solved some major unforeseen installation issues.  The price was very fair.  I recommend Cornerstone without reservation.

Elite Kitchen Concepts designed and installed kitchen cabinets for both of our office spaces. Both kitchens turned out exceptionally beautiful! From the beginning of the projects until the end, Marco and Ryan were very responsive, professional and skilled. They are incredibly good at what they do and I highly recommend them!

We love HG Cabinets! Grayson, Ken and the rest of the crew are fantastic to work with and always deliver a solid, beautiful product. If something isn't exactly as you like, they always come back and fix everything, with a great attitude! Not easy to find nowadays! Very competitive prices as well, worth every penny! We have used them for many projects and will continue to do so in the future!

This place is incompetent and rude. Cancelled the scheduled install of countertops. Would not recommend to anyone. Unprofessional company and I give rudeness back.

I love my closet! Marie was such a fabulous consultant. I have a wonky shaped closet and I had no idea what to do. Marie came over for a consultation. Not only did she Stay within budget, but she came up with an excellent layout that I could not have even imagined. She stuck with everything that was important to me and explained why I needed certain hanging sizes based on my wardrobe. We ended up going to the show room and working with her to put the final touches on the custom closet. A month later, it was installed seamlessly. The closet is absolutely beautiful, beyond my wildest dreams. I can't believe that I got what I wanted for the budget that I allotted. It looks like something in dwell Magazine, but for definitely not a Dwell price point LOL. Thank you so much Marie and Classy Closets!
