Best Cabinets in Phoenix, AZ

They just completed a master bedroom closet and mud room hutch for me and I couldn't be more pleased.  Price was fair and work product exceptional.  It's clear that they take pride in their work.  The hutch was started by another party and was a mess when they took over the project.  They were able to take care of the shortcomings and complete the job quickly.

Matt did a wonderful job installing my all kitchen cabinets and all the hardware and crown molding. He showed up on time and was very skilled at the job. Attention to detail was great.

We are so happy with our new wall bed for our guest room/office.  Lynda was extremely helpful in selecting the right bed for our room, the perfect finish and hardware.  Delivery was on time and installers did a great job.  We could not be more pleased.u

Ty has been my Go-to guy on all my cabinets jobs around town. He meets my clients at sollid's showroom when necessary. Answers all their questions and treats them like Family. They Martel's were recommended by a friend of mine who had their kitchen done by the them.  This is truly a family run business Dad and sons and grandson.  They custom made the cabinets for my kitchen and bathrooms.  
I told them what I wanted and while standing in my kitchen and talking to me Rubin (Dad) drew a diagram. Buy hand not on the computer.  He is amazing.  
I wanted a special color and they nailed it on the first try.  The cabinets are sturdy, well made with self closing drawers and custom hinges on the top cabinets.  My cabinets were made and installed within 8 weeks.

They are a pleasure to work with, very conscientious with attention to detail and very hard working.  Through out the years we have remodeled four  kitchens the work by the Martel's is by far the best.

IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT.

Wow.  This place is way bigger than I expected.  It felt like a city block worth of warehouse and shop space!  They have tons of all kinds of reclaimed barn wood, live edge planks, etc, etc.  There is a giant cabinet making shop, and as if that isn't enough, this is also the home of Driftwood Cruisers...makers of super special wood beach cruiser bikes.  I felt like I walked out of AZ and into Oregon when I entered the compound.  Preston, the owner, was the one that helped us...he was super cool and personable. We needed wood to make our wedding arch and found some peeled pine logs that he gave us a great deal on. I hope to need some reclaimed lumber or something else again in the future so I can go back!

The cabinets turned out ok except he forgot to bring some of the shelves. Said he would come the next day but nooo. Came back 2 days later. Also, I always pay cash but didn't have the exact amount. He said he would bring my change when he brought the missing shelves. But NOOOOOO, it's been a month an I still haven't received my change. He doesn't like credit cards so if you are going to use this person, make sure you have the exact amount or pay with check. I am a senior and didn't expect to be taken advantage of. Learned my lesson the hard way.

Stradling's Cabinets and especially Lonnie did a great job with our cabinets and counter tops for our kitchen and bathroom remodel.  We had a very short window with Christmas looming, and remodel was finished on time.  They went above and beyond to help us make selections and create the perfect space for us.  Lonnie did a great job of communicating everything to us, staying on top of all the details, and followed up often to make sure the work was completed to our satisfaction. We would use their services again.  The pictures below are before we added the backsplash and cabinet knobs/pulls.

I wanted to put granite counters in the kitchen as well as change out the sink and Neil from Millennium Designs was great. The counter tops looked great and his suggestion on the sink was spot on. I'm in another house now and will be using Millennium Designs for my counter tops here as well.

As I'm looking for tile , and they asked me to  leave a sample ,,,two weeks later ,,I get a phone call telling me  the tile was no longer available ,,,so I ask how can that be possible the house is only 6 months old. ,, but I said ok just give me back my samples  back ,,the gentleman on the counter said they throw it away,,, really that was my tile. , No apology. From them what so ever  ,, thanks guys. I really appreciate you NOT !!!!!!

Love my new barn doors! Couldn't find 10ft barn doors anywhere and King's Wood Creation custom made them for me. They turned out even better than I imagined. Thanks King's Wood!

Numerous delays & mistakes on semi-custom cabinets, owner
Kris Beeman, highly recommended one of his third party installers (Everett Barker & his son). The installers not only left the base cabinets out of level/plum w/ adjustable drawer/door hinges out of alignment but they also managed to barricade  a 3/8 water supply line, that had previously been stubbed out (18)from cabinet wall. Several  calls/messages to Mr. Barker & Mr.Beeman, have gone unanswered!
Envision Cabinetry, was hired through my kitchen designer & Mr.Beeman, did in fact finally arrive to my home in what was to have been an attempt to complete this long overdue project... he threatened to walk of the UNFINISHED JOB & chose to do so.
He/his company exhibited: EXTREME PROFESSIONAL MISCONDUCT, JOB ABANDONMENT, VERY POOR WORKMANSHIP & AN ABASHED LACK OF CARE.

BUYER BEWARE!!!BEWARE!!!BEWARE!!!

Christina was super informative, professional and gave us abundant time to explore our options. I liked how she didn't say she couldn't do parts of the project outside of the scope and instead got me quotes from partners. We will be strongly considering her proposal as she was the most professional we have received thus far which makes us feel good about the install.

I was also a victim of Frank's con.  Agave Custom Homes took my family for a large amount of money, unfortunately.  I tracked down some of his vendors and they told me Frank and his family have a history of misappropriating and sometimes outright stealing customer deposits.  I was told that Frank is on the run from creditors and he has multiple complaints filed against him with the AZ Board of Contractors.  Every few years Frank changes the name of his company (Stephanie's Cabinets, Downtown Cabinets, etc.) as people catch on to his fraud.  

He posts multiple ads on Craigslist - be careful.  He will bid you a great price on a job and then ask for a 50% deposit.  Months after we gave Frank a deposit (and each week a different excuse from Frank) he brought over some poorly constructed furniture to our home to finish assembly and paint.  Frank showed up with one of his workers with gang tattoos who did not speak English and asked to leave this worker at our home while he Frank left for the day.  Scary is an understatement.  When Frank completed our entertainment center and other furniture we had to have another vendor rip it out and start over as Agave's furniture was uneven, shelves misaligned, mismatched paint/stain - - totally amateur work.  AVOID!

P.S. not sure why Yelp shows me as being in San Francisco.  I live in the Southeast Valley of metro Phoenix.  Agave Cabinets operates in the metro Phoenix area.

This company was recommended by our contractor. They provided absolutely no follow up on my project when things were off. One cabinet arrived in the wrong color. They wanted to reorder the cabinet but there was no time to wait another 2 months. They offered no other compensation for the mistake and wouldn't pay to have it painted. Also a skin for the side of one cabinet never arrived. After leaving voicemails and also talking with Nico a few times, they never followed up and my contractor had to buy one separately. I've also never been compensated for that mistake. They seem nice when first designing the plan but there is no customer service after the order arrives. I wouldn't recommend this company.
