Superior Stone and Cabinet

After getting a quote from a big box retailer for new kitchen cabinets which was outrageous, I stumbled upon Superior Stone and Cabinets.

When I called, the woman who answered the phone was very professional. She advised that they sell the same brand of cabinets that we were looking at (Kraftmade), and she booked an appointment with Doug.

Doug was incredible. He knows his job well, and is a great cabinet designer. He was very thorough, and even came to the house twice for measurements. He made the process very easy for us, and gained our trust very quickly.

We added everything we wanted, thinking we would need to take away some things that would be nice to have once we got the quote.

When the quote came back, it was half of the price quoted to us by a big box home improvement store. I was dumbfounded, and actually asked if we missed something.

After our first visit, we decided to change a couple of items, and Doug made sure everything was as we wanted before submitting the order.

Before ordering, he came out to make sure his measurements were correct and we placed the order.

We ended up getting quartz counters that I didnt think would fit into the budget, so we didn't have to make any sacrifices for our dream kitchen.

The removal of our current cabinets and installation prices were way too good to pass up.

In the end, we got everything we wanted, and our final price was a little more than half of what Lowe's quoted us for just cabinets, not counters, demo or installation.

I would highly recommend Superior Stone and Cabinets and Doug to anyone. You won't go wrong.

November 2021 Kitchen is still not done!
I can't believe we started the process in FEBRUARY last year and we're still waiting for the missing parts to be installed.

We just had Superior Stone do our countertops and backsplash.  They DO NOT stand behind their subcontractors.  The granite was put in and then they had there tilers to do the backsplash.  They were awful!  They dropped tile on our new granite and chipped it in several spots and now they say they aren't going to stand behind there subcontractors.  They want to charge us for there errors.  Never, ever use this company

Avoid at all cost they are terrible craftsman, the granite will not have any square edges in your house plus the sill install floor different material than what you order and do not care the owner Charles has no idea what a T- square are or straight edge or a laser is and all of your cabinet doors will be aligned at different angles none will match or close correctly wife had tried for 6 more nuts after install to get all issues resolved so I complained to the bbb and the refused any corrections saying work was done....done by  blind fools that can't use a tape measure. Keep these incompetent assholes out of your house

Wow! What an amazing experience!!!! Charles was the absolute most amazing person I have delt with in YEARS! When we got there he greeted us with a smile! He helped us through every step of picking out countertops! Showed me what they had in stock! Walked me through where quartz comes from and what is a prefab slab vs the other ones. I can't thank him enough! The lady that took my payment was even nice! Everyone I saw there had smiles on their faces and said Hi. I went to another place down the street before coming here and I left because of poor customer service! I am glad I came here and met Charles! I will send all my friends and family here!

Superior Stone & Cabinet gets a big thumbs up.  They were recommended to me by more than one general contractor as we were forced into a major roof to baseboard remodel of more than half our home due to a failed roof.  The entire experience has been great, from having a nice showroom, to a large inventory of stone in the warehouse, to great pricing.  In particular and most importantly, the experience we had with our design consultant, Doug has been exceptional.  From the start, Doug walked us through the process and explained the pros and cons of each countertop material.  The thing that impressed us the most was that HE LISTENS and is very honest.  I've been working on this remodel for 6 months and ran into very few people who actually listened to our specific needs, such as budget, timeline, likes, dislikes and unique situations.  He was also very responsive and helpful throughout all communications and highly patient with us, as we ran into several delays on our end and plenty of adverse situations.  Also, since I knew nothing about remodeling a kitchen, having someone with Doug's knowledge, experience and expertise was extremely helpful.  My only regret during this remodel is committing to some of our other contractors too soon without giving Superior a chance to quote.  If you're looking for a good guy to work with for your countertops, flooring or cabinets, ask for Doug at Superior.

We are so pleased with the quality of our quartz counter install. Jesus and Gabriel were very polite and asked us what we thought about things before doing them. The install of our kitchen counter and two bathrooms only took about a day and a few hours the next day to finish. They also did the counter cutting in our driveway so the inside of our house was not filthy. I've heard some other companies really can trash your house with a mess inside.  I highly recommend this company and their installers. Steve in sales was nice to work with  and responsive.

Superior came out as promised for a quote. Then it was phone tag for three weeks trying to get my granite countertops installed. They kept on promising me that their contractors would call me. They never did no matter how many times I called. The last time I called Elliot said he would call me back that day... let's see that was five days ago! Well I went to Home Depot for a quote. My new sink will be delivered next week and the new granite countertops will be the week after. I would not recommend Superior Stone at all! Find another company you'll be happier. Really! They lost 5 grand! Too bad!

I had a kitchen remodel in 2019 with Superior. It has not been three years yet, and the cabinets are so cheap, it ridiculous! When we looked at the showroom, the cabinets were finished appropriately. When they install them, they have a white crayon to try and cover up where the cabinets are pieced together in many small pieces. Under the top cabinets in not finished, so you see particle board. We only saw finished whole pieces in the showroom, and mostly just the cabinet doors of the style we wanted. Once you see them coloring your cabinets, and gluing tiny pieces together, you know you made a huge mistake. By then, it's too late. You chose the cabinets, and they installed what you chose. Even small water droplets that spray from the sink are damaging these cheap cabinets. Around the outside of the dishwasher from rinsing your dishes. you start to notice the water being absorbed into the cabinetry, and taking on the pressed particle board look. Don't make the same mistake! Go somewhere with better quality!!

Worst experience that I ever had with a company doing a remodel job. Prices are slightly higher than other local companies, quality of work was horrible. granite delivered unpolished, many of the cabinets had damage, workers were careless, salesman (Chris Sherman) became frustrated with the project and became very RUDE!, owner (Charles) was involved---promising the world, project took approx. 7 months til completion, demo staff damaged walls, new tile around master bath shower got chipped, dust and debris not cleaned up after installation and I feel like I was taken advantage of.
I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Very disappointing experience and I have done many remodels.  Fell free to contact me to see the work and granite for yourself.

We have used them 4 times, in every case with excellent results.  Let me just say that virtually NO remodeling project I have ever done is without bumps in the road, but this company will work with you to make it right.  I especially want to credit Steve Marx for above and beyond customer service.  My kitchen is gorgeous, I will add pictures when we finish our backsplash and painting as well as get another bump in the remodeling road (dishwasher install) right

My boyfriend and I went in to get a quote to remodel our kitchen and picked out cabinets and countertops. The guy who helped us did not seem to be thrilled or have very good sales skills? When we were done he said he would be emailing us a quote...3 weeks have gone by and we have not received any quote which says enough considering the first place we went to literally build a 3D model for us on the computer and gave us a complete price out of everything.

We managed a full rebuild on our Tempe condo from across the country in PA. I worked with Hunter to set up a granite countertop install in 3 rooms during a short visit.

We arrived at the shop the day we got to town and found their selection excellent and the process a well oiled machine. They were able to get our install completed within 6 days of our visit and it was done to perfection in a timely manner.

Their prices were also $500 less than the bid by our general contractor. We got the manufactures granite that looks exactly like any other granite. Highly recommend.

I came to the showroom twice.  Each time it was very difficult to get anyone's attention to ask questions.  As I observed the interactions of the staff, I came to the conclusion that this company caters to couples and families more than individuals and they focus on total remodels vs. one-off repairs of a single item.  At least, that's what I observed on both of my visits:  couples and families getting help almost exclusively vs. individual people who walk in by themselves.  The front showroom is a lot of complete kitchens and bathrooms and that's where the other folks were getting their consultations and advice.

As I walked to the back to look at flooring, not one person greeted me or asked me if I needed anything.  Similar happened on the second visit.  Their flooring selection is very small compared to other establishments and I was looking for a match to a pre-existing flooring so this was really a wasted trip for me.  However, it would've been nice if someone at least asked me if I needed anything.

We recently got our cabinets and countertops installed here and I have to say we are so grateful we were able to work with Mark! He was attentive to our needs and wants and really took care of us! He walked us through the entire process and was very clear with what to expect. Mark was available any time we called and was prompt with his response to any questions we had. He was really easy to get along with and seemed more like a friend than a business man. We definitely recommend this place but especially Mark!

This was a very bad experience for me, I went to the store 4 weeks ago, this guy Dennis Duff was not the best giving me options within my budget, wanted me to go to a next level up  price of course.
I left the store being told he will send to my email the estimate later that day,
Surprise, he didn't!!!
 After almost 4 weeks he finally sent me the estimate WOW!!!

Felt great at the show room but once installation started went down hill.
When we had questions, are sales rep (S.M.)
Was on vacation, when we called the store front
Said they could not help and acted as they knew nothing of installation. Then the installation did not
Get installed as explained in the before meetings.
The installer did not have the island sink lower cabinets in proper center position or shined high enough to the half wall. When counter top installers came the next day, they just put the counter tops on the way it was cutting the MDF that so it was not to the edge of underside of granite.
This left a horrible visual effect. Instead off removing counter top and fixing correctly
The wanted to use trim to fix, which they later wouldn't install and just dropped off to the house.
Other issues, installed one broken cabinet and said they would refund me some (never did)
Cabinet door alignment poor 1/4 difference between two sets of doors.
Lack of MDF to bottom edge of granite left gap
Between countertop and the corbels.
After 6 months hinges and handles are becoming loosened And not shutting properly.

When my granite was being installed the installers chipped the surface near my kitchen sink. The end result is a large green circle. I can only assume its the adhesive they applied to fix their mistake. I reached out to the salesman and asked him to come look at the spot as it is very noticeable. He asked me to send photos which I did and I was told they were reviewed by his service manger. I was told the greenish color is a natural characteristic of the granite.  There is no way neon green is a natural characteristics. Photos have been uploaded showing what I see everyday. Again I asked that someone come out and look at the install and have never heard from the company again.

I feel like Superior did a good job of installing our new counters, but I am giving my 3 star review for a few reasons:

1. Although I read the fine print to make sure I was aware of anything I needed to know, I do not recall seeing anywhere that faucets would not be installed. I saw the bit about making sure to have them on-site so holes were drilled correctly, but nothing anywhere about not actually installing them. So when the guys finished the counters at 6:30 PM, the night before we had a 6 AM flight, and only then told me that they don't install the faucets, so we were without a kitchen and bathroom sink. Thankfully we have a guest bathroom and was able to make do until we got home and I just installed the faucets and drains myself. If I could do it, I am not sure why they do not have their guys just do them and do a complete job. Either way, it should be made clear, that this is not part of the scope of work!!

2. The Contract Agreement was painful, literally, to the eyes to read. It was blurry and very squashed together, so it would fit on one page likely. Fix it! Make it neater and easier to read. People should be able to read this without taking an Advil after.

3. Communication. I felt like I was always the one trying to move forward. My contact was nice and responsive when I called, but I always had to call and follow up. Not only that, we were trying to get in before our trip, so I called on Friday to see about getting our finalized quote, which was emailed to me to execute, which I did and sent back that same night. On Monday, when I had not heard anything, I called and was told my sales guy was out of the office for that day. So he sent me final contract for executing, without telling me he would be out the following business day, knowing we were trying to get scheduled that week. Thankfully, the office staff is great and when I called, were able to get the paperwork and schedule me for the install. I have not heard back from my sales guy since that email also. Which leads me to...

4. Follow up. Where the heck is it?!!! What kind of company does a job and doesn't call the customer to make sure everything went OK?!!

So, while I think the work done was decent, there were a lot of other areas that could use improvements. I would use them again, and I would recommend them, but I hope they read this review and make some improvements.

We had a great experience with Jeff Chaignot and his team at Superior Stone & Cabinetry. Jeff took on our massive project and was very attentive to answering all of our questions. He had a great attention to detail and kept up with all off our changes along the way. He had many great ideas and got us the best product for our budget. I was impressed that Jeff was our contact throughout the entire delivery and install process and ensured that the project was complete to our satisfaction. I really felt Jeff was a great customer advocate I would highly recommend Superior Stone & Cabinet to anyone. And thank you to Mike our installer! He worked diligently and I am impressed with his skills and problem solving!

After careful research, I decided to go with Superior Stone and Cabinet.  It turned out to be a horrible decision.  Just remember, once they start demolition, you're stuck.  I will write a complete story shortly.

My finished product looked pretty good but a cabinet broke after a little less than two months and it took almost 2 months to repair... The staff is not very accommodating and they expect you to just accept your brand new, expensive kitchen being broken for almost two months... I did not want to write a bad review and I gave them several chances to rectify which is why I have to notify others... I want others to be aware that they do a good finished product but it is difficult getting there...

The install process was also frustrating due to contractors being late and the front desk getting things wrong. I did not feel like a valued customer.

I was so happy with sales person Steve. Louis & Jose did a great job on installation. Seem less experience and very pleased with the one week turnaround!

The response time needs serious improvement. Currently working with design rep and they only get back every few days.

I bought a countertop from Superior Stone and Cabinet, I worked with Steve Marx. They did a wonderful job the countertop looks great! The prices were very competitive and the selection was also amazing. I will defiantly be calling them to do my bathrooms when we get to that project. Make sure to ask for Steve he is excellent very attentive and prompt to your needs, he helped to make my kitchen look amazing!

Entire service team was professional, diligent, and prompt to meet my needs while doing  a kitchen remodel.  I was always treated courteously and like they did not have any other clients.  Dennis came out after hours to take measurements, and was on top of every aspect of the process which he coordinated.  He was excellent at listening to what I wanted.

The contractor,Travis of American Tradesman Services LLC, would always answer my text within 5 minutes. He wasn't always there exactly when he said he would be, but once on the job, his same crew of over 15 years, were in and out in record time. They guarantee their work for two years.  I am a single woman, and felt very comfortable with these guys in my home.  They were always respectful and totally mindful of the job at hand.

Called this place because they did a great job 6 years ago at our old house. This time however, the guy who answered the phone honestly sounded drunk. He managed to set up the appointment over the phone and then nobody ever showed up for the appointment at our house for the estimate. Big disappointed as I planned my day around it.

This was an absolutely horrific experience from day 1. It should have been a warning sign when they told us they couldn't even guarantee finishing the project, but we decided to give them a chance. Big mistake! Doug and Charles were incredibly disrespectful, sexist, and refused to respect our opinions. They were unreliable liars and even charged us when we had to change something in the design to fit the construction in our house! What did they expect? That we would keep a design that wouldn't work with the way our house was constructed? That's completely ridiculous! Our project was a nightmare because of their unreliability and horrendous communication! You would think that the designers would answer a phone call during the demo but Doug would disappear for a week! Not to mention that when he would answer, half of what he said was a lie and he would change his mind constantly then accuse us of changing our mind! We would ask questions and receive dishonest answers. The communication issues extended to the workers as well! Superior refused to let us talk to the workers about OUR home renovation! And the designers actively prevented us from communicating with them! And don't even get me started on the price! They keep adding on extra fees for everything. Do not believe the original quote for a second! Everyone we interacted with at this company was unprofessional, disrespectful, rude, and terrible at communicating! The entire process was so stressful! If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid this company at all costs!

Worked with Dennis and the service was exceptional. Even helped us find a knowledgeable plumber to connect the kitchen sink and dishwasher. Their staff's seam work in granite was exceptional. Installed in one day. We removed and threw away old counter ourselves to save a little bit of $.

Dennis helped me in the warehouse to pick out the slab of granite that was just right. I enjoyed walking around and knowing exactly what Im going to get. I also liked being able to check out the types of sinks. We didnt purchase cabinets but they also had a wide array of thise to choose from. When I redo the kitchen at my rental property Ill likely use them again.

I cannot say anything but good things about Superior Stone and Cabinet. The staff and installers are truly professionals. Our sales consultant was Mike Cancelli and he was 100% helpful from the beginning of the process to the completion of the job. He came all the way out to Surprise to measure for our granite installation, He thoroughly explained the estimate and all the costs involved. When I went to the showroom to pick put our stones, he explained EVERY thing in the contract so he made sure I understood what I was signing. Very professional! The installers they sent to out home were professional and attentive. They did an EXCELLENT job on our installation and our kitchen looks fantastic!

I have asked for information price quote and a drawing several times and evidently I don't want to spend enough because the salesman never gets back to me. I'm guessing my kitchen is about a 10 x 15 and other quotes have been around $20,000 but they won't give me a quote

***do not use this company for anything*** they do not return phone calls,they are unprofessional, unorganized, rude, they lie about contacting outside contractors....then never call you back. every single person that works there should not be working with the public.

Hunter from Superior Stone gave me a call back for a quote. I bought my stone from the highest rated stone distributor in Phoenix prior and just need an installer. Superior Stone was very rude when I told them about the previously purchased slabs of quartz. Hunter hung up on me immediately. If there customer service skills are an indicator of their business, I'd run from them.

We were very disappointed with the service we received you get what you pay for.  The granite is not as thick and cracks easily.  The backsplash tiles were not the color we ordered, the service from Mike was less than expected.

Went out to their location on Broadway today and I was very excited to look through their boneyard at the recommendation of a representative I spoke to on the phone.  The representative was very helpful and knowledgable and provided to me the idea of using the boneyard because the piece of stone I needed was not very large.  When I arrived I was directed to the area.  Not a lot to choose from but beggars cannot be choosers so I have heard.  We did find a piece we liked and the folks in the yard got a Sales Person.  This is where things went awful and based on this experience I received I would NEVER spend one cent with this company.  So sad that one person can taint a organizations reputation but he did.  

First off he quoted me figures WAY higher than what I was quoted on the phone.  When I questioned this I was treated horrible.  Like I was asking for them to give me something for nothing.  I was spoken to like I was in idiot and he was very demeaning in his conversation style.  Who needs this?  Not me.  What he did not know is that I can afford what I want, a simple better approach may have yielded them a sale and even referral business.  But the way I have come to learn that they treat customers and do not honor previous pricing commitments, No Thanks!

I inquired to this company the flooring renovation with its offered tile special, $4 per sqft for total cost.  700sqft was planned to cover my house floor with tile.

However, after actual measurement, the sale consultant cited $8000 for simple 700 sqft floor. This estimation is at least twice or three times more expensive than home depot or floor and décor do. According to the special, it should begin from $2800 ($4 sqft * 700sqft)

This company boasted it is more better and competitive wholesaler beyond major brands. Actually I am frustrated with their bite and switch sales trick.

I was a little concerned that the lower price might mean lower quality but,  wow, I ended up  so happy with my counter tops.. The installation was perfect. You really have to look for the seams. The edges were finished off beautifully and the installers cleaned up after themselves. No one is pickier than my engineer husband and even he couldn't find any flaws or complain about anything. I've had several contractors in for other projects who were also impressed with the price and installation. Everything was explained to us clearly, we were offered suggestions and other options. My only regret now is that i didn't seriously consider getting new cabinets from Superior at the same time. I have referred others and will continue to do so.

They are great came out measured and made suggestions and wonderful service on time. I  cannot say enough about it was much better than any other co.

The manager's response MIGHT be true for some other customer, but it cannot possibly be true in our case. The installers offered to leave the largest remnant piece with us, and it is 24 inches square. That means the manager's excuse is either mistakenly confusing us with a different customer, or is a bald-faced lie. It's inconceivable to me that any business of this size values strong-arming a customer out of an extra $150 than the goodwill they would have gotten by admitting their omission of information when we were choosing our slabs and just letting it go. Shame, shame, shame on you, Superior Stone.

Contracted to have Superior Stone and Cabinet do a granite countertop and island for me. I was on a budget, picked out the granite, but since Im not a granite installer did not know about 'cut's and 'seams'. Superior came out in a timely manner, their guys installed the counters and island, and when completed the seams were horrendous. Of course they make you sign a contract so if anything goes wrong it is not covered by them. I ended up having  to get new countertops. The ones installed by superior were subpar, and of course i had signed that there would be multiple seams . Didnt sign up for being subpar seams. They were awful and not just by my standards. Be careful, read EVERY PART OF THE CONTRACT. These were not inexpensive and the next fabricator I chose did an excellent job at more than $1500 less including product.

Recently used Superior Stone and Cabinet to replace cabinets and countertops in 6 rental units. Doug was incredibly helpful - his suggestions helped us maximize the usable space in our small kitchens. The quality and price can't be beat. I will definitely be using Superior Stone and Cabinet for all of my future projects.

Incompetent, complacent, and generally awful. We have been working on an install since Feb. multiple pieces have been mis-measured or the wrong dimension. Initial cabinets were not level and we had to get them back to fix it. They do not care about their customer at all after The sale. They only send one installer and if anything is not complete after the initial install it takes forever to get someone back out because they try to squeeze you between new jobs. Installer frequently showed up after noon. Design itself took multiple weeks to finalize. The entire process from beginning to end has been absolutely awful. Would never use them again.

Superior Sone and cabinet did a great job of helping us and meeting our needs while we were at their showroom. We went there with the intention of getting prefab counters for 2 bathrooms. We got that and 2 sinks and were within our budget. It all looks great, but there are 3 reasons that kept the rating from being 5 star. Inside and out, we had to do much of the cleanup. There was caulk and silicone left on the counters and they were clearly not clean. One of our medicine cabinets had to removed but was put back wrong. We had to add caulk on a 3 inch area where they skipped it near one of the corners. The results look great, just didn't know the hours afterwards that we would have to put into it!!

After numerous horrendous experiences with vendors/contractors, Im thrilled to have found SSC.  Jeff is an amazing person to work with; he is easy-going, patient, and very detail-oriented!   Even my spouse loves Jeff and calls him a breath of fresh air, finally someone we don't have to babysit!  Most importantly, I love how responsive Jeff is.  You can always count on him to get back to you in a timely manner.  You will be impressed by how knowledgeable Jeff is about kitchen cabinets.

My husband and I used Superior Stone and Cabinet for our vacation property in Scottsdale.  We walked in and were greeted by Jeff C.

Jeff listened to what we wanted, offered a ton of great suggestions.  I was pretty set on what I wanted so it was really only a matter of picking out the line of cabinets that could offer what we were looking for. I was less sure about granite, and Jeff was great at explaining some of the more popular options for our cabinets, but also threw in a few unique options too in case we wanted something different.  He prioritized coming out to measure ASAP so we order the cabinets as soon as possible since we were in town.

Being as we were not local, I was extremely nervous about the ordering and installation process, as I wanted to book my ticket down with enough time to not pay out the butt, but I also didn't want to belabor the project.  Jeff was great at communicating timelines, following up along the way, and explaining what would happen on each day of our install.

The installers that we worked with were fantastic - timely, friendly, and all around great.  They picked up after themselves, worked hard, and left the jobsite looking fantastic. I was also having tile flooring laid by another installer during this time and all installers were courteous to each other.

Our only dilemma is that now we like the kitchen at our vacation property more than our primary residence ;)

Worst customer service ever!
I am in the process of replacing the counter tops in my kitchen. Their salesperson Hunter McDonald came to provide an estimate. I had told Hunter that I wanted Silestone quartz and was assured that they do sell that stone. Once I got to their showroom I was rushed and pushed to choose a color and told to sign here, initial here etc. Meanwhile I still had questions but I thought I was getting Silestone with 25 year warranty. When I asked about the warranty, Hunter said its only 2 years and that is the law. I asked what about the manufacturer warranty and I was told those are very expensive stones. At no point I had asked for cheaper stone. When I told Hunter that I have quotes for Silestone for 25 years warranty and same price, Hunter jumped and took all signed documents to his office and ran away. I felt very uncomfortable for being deceived like this, and repeatedly told him that I wanted to cancel the job. Hunter ignore me completely and ran to their warehouse. I was shocked because as a customer ready to spend over $4K and I was treated like a beggar. I left their store feeling disgusted and confused. I have sent Superior store an email regarding the incident and cancellation of job. I am not sure if the whole company is run by shady personnel. Stay away from them at all cost. They will lie and hide information to get your business.

We requested an appointment on a Sunday from the website and received a call from Jeff Chaignot early Monday morning.  We met at the showroom the next day and was shown different options for our new home office/ laundry room and galley.   Jeff gave us some ideas and we made some choices for our home measurement.   Jeff came out to our home and listened to what we wanted to do with these 2 rooms and helped us make some excellent decisions.   We had a quote in under 24 hours with a price that beat 3 other competitors for much better quality cabinets.   The quality of the cabinets and installations was well worth the 3 - 4 week wait for the cabinets.   Cabinets were delivered as scheduled and installed by Mike with pride in a job well done.  We would highly recommend Superior Stone & Cabinet.

Ray at Superior was a big help.  I wanted to give some feedback and let others know how much I appreciated Ray's help with the installation of granite countertops in two of our homes.

Marvin was amazing. We can in and it was a quick process.  We told him our price range, he took us into the wharehouse and showed us what was available, I picked my granite, personally chose my two counter pieces and we were done.  I think it took us less than 45min from enter to exit on a Friday without an appointment.  

Marvin came the following monday and did the final measure, and the installers came the very next day!  

It looks beautiful.  They even cut the back splash slightly shorter to fit in the space with existing tiled wall.

The price was at least 500 less than other places and customer service you can beat.  Thank you Marvin!

We comparison shopped extensively before and during the project, but we found Superior's product, pricing, and customer service to be unbeatable. I have had the pleasure of working with Superior Stone (Rick and Sara mostly) for almost one year now, they do all of our granite countertops at my apartment community in Scottsdale. When I request bids and schedules on a monthly basis they have them within 24 hours. Sara checks in before each scheduled install to make sure it is still on target and they send the invoices to me upon completion of the work. When I need something changed up or have a concern Rick is also very prompt and is very knowledgeable when I have questions. He doesn't hesitate to let me know if something is not going to work and why. They run like a well oiled machine, if you need cabinets or countertops they are the go to people.

Jeff is the reason we chose to go with this company. If it hadn't been for him we would've crossed it off our list. He drew up our kitchen grabbing our attention and imputed great ideas. He took his time with us, offered excellent customer service and met our needs. We now have a kitchen that was the worst place in the house, to the best place to hangout and cook. There was a small issue with the granite guys, called Jeff on his cell who answered on his day off and even jumped in the car and came over to resolve it. Can't say enough, money well spent. The granite guys know what they're doing. It was obvious when they set up shop in the yard and got to work, no time wasted. They did a great job! Excellent craftsmanship, can't even see a seam.

We are currently working with Tim Williams at Superior Stone & Cabinet to have our kitchen and bathrooms remodeled. This week William Upshaw installed our new cabinets and I felt compelled to write this review based on his work. His work is absolutely outstanding as is his friendliness and work ethic. His attention to detail was amazing. He took the time to explain the work he would be doing prior to starting and gladly answered my questions throughout the installation. Once the cabinet installation was complete, he went through all the cabinets and made sure the doors were properly aligned and the shelves were installed where I wanted them. He went with me through the final inspection and addresses any issue immediately. He strikes me as a man who takes great pride in his work and truly enjoys it. I would highly recommend William to anyone having cabinets installed. Tim Williams told me before the installation that William Upshaw was the best and he was right. Fantastic job. Thank you Will.

We worked with Superior Stone & Cabinets to remodel our kitchen. I was very pleased with all the people who worked on it, from the delivery guys to the installer. What I do have a grip about is when we ordered a valance for above the kitchen sink later (in April) we were told it would be about 2 weeks. It is now the later part of June, and we have been met with one excuse after another as to why we don't have it. I wouldn't be so upset but for the fact it was paid for! I wonder if I will ever get it, or if they just pocket the $. Very frustrated with them.

I used Superior Cabinets for my remodel on my condo in Scottsdale.  I asked for Jeff C because of the rave reviews he received on Yelp and he was great!  He understood what I was trying to accomplish and lead me in the right direction.   My cabinets are beautiful!  (I did not get granite from them.)  In fact, one of my contractors is having Jeff bid on a project because of the beautiful job he did on my place.  I also have a friend who is most particular and is going to have Jeff bid on her project.  She remodeled a place out of town and did a lot of looking for cabinetry.  When she saw mine she was pleasantly surprised!  The installer Jeff used was also very professional.  The cabinets arrived and were installed on time.  Thanks Jeff for the great work!

I cannot recommend this company to anyone.  I visited their showroom; traveled across town.  I got an estimate and scheduled a measurement.  They came to my house, measured the job, and that was the last I heard from them.  They have my address, my phone number, my email.  I am not going to chase them.  I don't want to do business with a company that disrespects my time that much.  Very unprofessional, and just plain rude.

Huge disappointment, worked with Ray who was prompt, courteous  and professional. Until problems surfaced. Originally the home owner was going to do the rough carpentry and plumbing. Ray offered the service one of his contractors who would take care of all of roughing, followed by his tiling crew (they were good) effectively providing us with turn key project.
Our project then fell into the hands of Mr. Travis, of American Tradesman Services. In addition to being constantly late and not returning phone calls, he butchered the plumbing portion of the project. Valves located in the wrong place and, the actual pipe connections to the wrong ports.
Ray of Superior Stone was informed of the problem, he promised to visit the job site and contact his contractor. Neither one of them ever showed. I wrote letters, made phone calls and even filed complaints. Superior Stone claims to have fulfilled their obligations by providing materials and labor. Evidently integrity and customer support means nothing to them.
I wound up having to hire a 'real' plumber to make job (shower stall) operational, at a cost of roughly $400.00.
There are plenty of reputable tile contractors out there. Avoid this outfit!

I did my research on the AZ ROC and BBB to find a reputable contractor to install granite countertops in our kitchen. Superior was well recommended, so I spoke to Steve Marx about Superior performing the work and he came out immediately to provide a quote. We were in the middle of moving, but Steve was patient and professional as we did price comparisons and worked out a schedule. Once we made our decision and gave the green light, he was able to schedule the installation in two days! The installers did a fantastic job and the upgrade will no doubt enable us to sell the house quickly. I plan to reach out to Steve for upgrades on our new home in the near future.

First part of the process went well. The person who came out to measure/estimate our countertops was friendly and walked us through all the options/pricing. The next week, we drove an hour and 15 minutes to the showroom to look at slabs and bring back some samples. We found two styles we really liked, and got samples for each.

We took the samples home, and picked one that we really liked. I called in and asked our salesperson if we could make an appointment the next week to pick out 2 slabs in the style we'd chosen. He checked the inventory and said they had plenty, so we made the appointment.

That saturday came, and we drove an hour and 15 minutes to the showroom, only to find that the style we'd picked out had sold out. Which means we'd made a 2.5 hour round trip for nothing. At no point during the week did we receive a phone call telling us it had sold out and we needed to reschedule.

The salesperson didn't apologize or take responsibility... just said at least it's a nice day for a drive. No apology. No acknowledgement that he could have called us.

That kind of service doesn't fly when we're taking about spending thousands of dollars on a remodeling project. Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere.

We called several granite companies, but since we needed the job done on a very short notice no one was able to help... til I called Superior stone, I talked to Mike and he came out the next day and within the week had our granite kitchen countertops done... great fast service and the quality is top notch. +

Superior Stone and Cabinet--especially Mike--has been exceptional.  We had shopped for granite at numerous places and found 'roadblocks' for this or that.  Mike arranged for demolition and removal of previous countertops.  He remeasured our kitchen with no additional charge.  Truly we paid for granite and the price of installation was included.  By the way they installed plywood support.  In our previous house another company installed our granite and did not do this---the granite shifted and we paid for an expensive repair.  The installers were prompt and did an exceptional job.  We are thrilled with our countertops and highly recommend Superior Stone and Cabinet.

We had an excellent experience with Ray at Superior Stone and Cabinet.  We remodeled two bathrooms in our house with cabinets and countertops and everything came out just how we wanted!  Ray helped us with design and picking out materials.  He took measurements at our house and made recommendations based on our space.  We are very happy with the way it turned out!

I just completed a kitchen remodel after an unfortunate water leak and and subsequent insurance claim. I worked with Mike Cancelli and at Superior and he was great. He gave me all of the estimates that the insurance company requested in a quick and timely manner. I purchased Sollid Cabinets and we could not be happier. Mike worked with me to create the best cabinet design for my kitchen lay out. My wife and I are are very happy with the customer service and price points that we received compared to the other large stores and independent contractors. I highly recommend Superior and recommend working with Mike C. and the Superior Stone team.

I would never do business again with this company. They have sleezy business practices they are not willing to provide you cost break down they do not specifically tell you what your costs are for the products you purchase and there is no way to know that you were provided what you paid for.

Couldn't be happier with the overall experience from Superior Stone. We started with Sean B who helped us at the showroom get an idea for what our new kitchen 'couod' look like. He helped us choose two different style cabinets and also two different quartz countertops. His estimate before his actual visit and validation was spot on and we moved forward. Our demo was done by Tim and his team and they did great. Yes our kitchen was gone, but they left us with a blank slate and did a great job with clean up and protecting our appliances. Mike, who installed the cabinets is an artist. With all the little challenges made our kitchen ready for a magazine cover. Luis and Keith came next and installed our counters and did so 5 days early! The quartz counters are absolutely beautiful and finish the entire package. We are very glad we chose Superior and will use them again in a few months to redo our bathrooms. Thank you Sean and team!

I have had the pleasure of working with Jeff on 2 large projects one was a complete kitchen and 2 bathrooms the second a large granite replacement Jeff did a fantastic job with both he was available when needed made both projects a breeze keeping the schedule on target with no glitches Jeff is a pleasure to work with and a true professional I would not hesitate to call on Jeff and superior stone and cabinet for my future projects.

We had our kitchen counters replaced with granite and well as having a travertine backsplash installed.  The staff was courteous, helpful, and followed through with what they said.  Jeff worked with us throughout the entire project listening to what we wanted and making suggestions along the way.  He came to our home measured, discussed with us the best placement for the seams and when the granite arrived it was perfect.  Installation went well and to top it off Jeff called after the install and asked if everything is to our liking.  I would definitely would recommend this company  based on their price, customer service, and experience.

Spent a considerable amount of time explaining the type of edging we needed on our granite island and in our bathroom. We were told the edge would not be a problem. The actual granite workers did the sloppiest job possible. We have multiple seams on every edge of the island granite. Instead of one edge piece, we have multiple pieces they glued together to get a straight piece for every edge. It is an embarrassment to see that shabby quality. After cutting holes in the granite for the faucets in both the bathroom and the island kitchen, the holes in the kitchen were too large, and the bathroom faucet holes were caulked with a WHITE color and it was applied to black granite. It dried bright white and I have been unable to minimize the appearance of the WHITE caulk against the black granite. For all of the money we spent on this granite, we were shocked at the shabby quality. Note to SELF ------   DO NOT EVER shop at Superior Stone again if you want a quality acceptable product.

I went to the store on a recent Monday and worked with the salesperson: Sean. His service was exceptional in communicating to me all the details of installing granite counter-tops. I was amazed when he told me that the granite would be installed the following Monday. The installer even came out on a Sunday to measure for the template for the counters. The crew showed up as scheduled, were very clean, and installed the granite in a few hours. The seam is perfect.  They dumped the old counters for us. The entire experience was very positive and I would highly recommend using Superior Stone and Cabinet.

Don't go anywhere else for your granite! Superior installed our granite kitchen counters last weekend and did an amazing job. Their team is knowledgeable, professional and able to schedule appointments and installs within a matter of days. We couldn't be more pleased with our entire experience with Superior and the end product...our kitchen is now awesome! PS: their prices will beat any competitor, so don't waste your time and gas shopping around! Just head straight to their showroom.

Jeff and Superior Stone have been excellent to work with. We remodel properties and are always on a tight time crunch. Jeff is always quick to get out and measure and provide me a bid. Once the decision is made to move forward he facilitates the paperwork and payment really quick and gets the install scheduled right away. I typically have the install within the same week. It is awesome! I won't go anywhere else. They are fantastic to work with. I highly recommend them!

I would never use Superior Stone and Cabinet. We attempted to get an estimate on a complete master suite remodel and upgrade. The communication process was so poor I finally gave up. Unanswered emails and no responses. To add the ultimate evidence of the lack of professionalism and interest in customer service I recieved an emai today; two full months after the initial selection of materials and concepts with their salesperson, Dennis. Interestingly the project had been completed just three days previously by a much more responsive company. I can only imagine what a disaster it could have been to actually engage Superior Stone and Cabinet in the actual project if they couldn't even handle the simple estimate process. Hopefully this was just a particularly bad representative and not indicative of the entire company. Be cautious.

We purchased a home to remodel and sell in the Phoenix area. Jeff from Superior Cabinets came to the home site. Within a short time he had a plan for our kitchen and 2 baths. He kept  us on budget and gave us some wonderful ideas to help in our remodel. We changed the kitchen and master bath completely and tiled almost the entire home.  The trades that Jeff supplied to complete the project were so professional and did an amazing job, especially Peter the tile contractor. Can't wait to hire Jeff for the next remodel.

My wife and I visited with Superior on a Saturday and were greeted quickly by a person named Ray. He proceeded to help us with the remodel of our guest bathroom. My wife was stunned at Rays ability to assist her in color and style selection. We were completely finished and quoted in about 90 minutes. Ray offered us a better deal if we remodeled our master bath at the same time. We agreed to think about it and contact him on Monday, which I did. Ray promptly came over to take measurements that day. This is where it goes down hill. Ray did not follow up with final pricing, what? 4 days later I called him and he gave me an excuse and then  he committed to contacting me on the upcoming Monday. Well here I sit on Tuesday at 4:30 pm and no contact from Ray. I call the office to let the owner know of my experience, their customer service person speaks very poor English and agreed to give Charles my message, another sign of poor leadership at this small business. I feel doing business with this outfit is very risky. I am not comfortable giving my money upfront to them and expecting them to follow through to completion of my two bathroom remodels.

update to this post 3/01/2015:

On that following day, Wednesday at 4pm, I had not received a call back from the owner so i called for him, Charles, one more time. An articulate customer service rep answered the call and got Charles on the phone. I explained the situation to Charles and he apologized several times and offered to give us another person to work with. I said maybe but that I would need to discuss this with my wife. Charles went on to explain that Ray had a scheduled vacation on Monday and Tuesday. I said okay so he forgot that when he committed to call me on Monday but it is 4pm on Wednesday and I still have not heard from him???What gives? And what about the four days prior to his vacation? Charles seemed genuinely determined to win our business and agreed to get back to me.  Two days later I get an email from Ray that was just plain sad and never acknowledged any wrong doing in fact said that he does his best to provide the very best service.  I never heard from Charles the owner or as I later found out is the GM according to Ray. This is like talking to a wall.......I'm done with these folks.

We used Superior Stone and Cabinet to do some tile flooring in our master bedroom.  We chose them because we had a GREAT experience when they remodeled our kitchen, and we got a good price.  Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the tile flooring (installer).  I guess the original installer that was supposed to come and do the work could not so he sent someone else, who brought his two kids :(  They arrived at 8:00AM and did not leave until 9:00PM that evening, for a 250 sq. ft. room.  I thought that was a bit much.  It was a simple room.  After being there four hours he had only two rows completed.  Not sure if he has ever installed tile before, but it took SOOOO very long to complete the project.  Anyway, the final outcome looks nice; however, the transition points between the bed and bath, and bed and hall were not as they were explained to us they were going to be.  It looks sloppy.  I am hoping Superior Stone and Cabinet will address this.  They also left a mess in the front yard, a lot of rock was washed away from their mixing thinset and/or grout.  They still have not come back to fix this and I was told they would.  I am hoping this was a one time, mediocre experience from this tile installer.  We would like to go back to Superior Stone and Cabinet for future projects because as I said we were thrilled with kitchen remodel.  I will have to think very hard about this though when we are ready to start the next project.

Great experience with this company. Just finished a complete remodel. Kitchen, bathrooms, bar with cabinets and granite. Process went exactly as planned and budgeted. Recommend seeing Jeff. He has both field and sales experience and knows what to specify with respect to installation details. Granite and cabinet selections turned out perfect. Cabinet and tile installers were true craftsmen. We had a couple cabinet door problems that were resolved/replaced quickly. Terrific value and quality.

Highly recommend to others.  Timely and free in home estimate, got to choose my granite slabs at the showroom, competitive prices, timely and good quality install.  My kitchen turned out great!
