Pelican Power Damage Restoration
Patrick, Carlos, and their team was recommended to me by my insurance agent to replace the paper under my tile roof and make other repairs. They did an excellent job! And the price was fair. Much appreciated since I paid 100% out of pocket.

American Technologies, Inc. Damage Restoration
ATI is a preferred contractor for USAA, which engendered good feelings right away. We'd had two leaks sprout right after buying a home. Francisco arrived to walk the job and was a great communicator, on time, professional and supportive. This business is currently in overdrive, cleaning businesses and hospitals due to Covid-19, but we were scheduled for our repair just a couple of days later. Really pleased. William and Jose arrived on time to do the repairs, and both were professional, courteous, tidy and warm. The finished work is great. While I hope we avoid future leaks, if we do we would be in great hands again with the company.

Aqua Dry Damage Restoration
SHORTER VERSION  Aqua Dry came in after another company did a subpar job.  Whereas the first guys rushed through the job, Aqua Dry took 3 x the time to do it right.  They brought state of the art equipment, high wattage lights, cameras, changed filters frequently (no cutting corners). Their attention to detail was incredible; they even applied painter's tape to walls before putting up their containment area (saving your paint job) and respectfully protected my personal belonging from cross-contamination. These guys understand and know mold (they have 18 plus years experience and fully accredited) and work hard for us. Their management of cross-contamination is military-like, which you want.  Unlike the other company, they also did not trick mold clearance testing by leaving plastic over areas.  Aqua Dry's all around honesty and integrity is very rare.  Alex is also an absolute genius at inspecting for mold - and found mold colonies the other guys had totally missed, in one place by inches.  You won't find much about Aqua Dry online and I know why:  their business is nearly all word of mouth.  But I want others to know about them because mold remediation is serious health business and you need to know your mold remediator is doing the job perfectly.  Yes, perfectly.  If I could give them 10 stars here and everywhere, I would.

Affinity Bio Solutions Damage Restoration
Brook and Glen were fair, reasonable and easy to work with. Most of all, they were kind and compassionate. I was dealing with a cat hoarding situation, which meant that we were working with the SPCA too. I was also out of state and having to drive back and forth during the process. These guys were great! Worked with our timeline, didn't try to penalize us when it needed to be changed, kept an eye out for items we thought were important, and were fair on the price. I highly recommend them.

We had a flood at our rental. The complete destruction of our dining room happened. Red Eye Construction came in and did a beautiful job with the put back and with quality materials, and in a very timely manner. They worked so well with our tenant who is having a very rough time in his personal life right now. I highly recommend this company you will not regret this choice in hiring Red Eye Construction to do any remodeling you may need.

F & F Carpet Cleaning Damage Restoration
Glad I checked out all the online reviews for carpet cleaners before selecting F&F as they had the most 5 star recommendations. Now after using their services I can see why. While I'd have had to wait weeks for other franchise services to come and clean the area rugs and one full room of wall to wall carpet in the house, Farad was able to stop by the same week I called to not only provide a reasonable estimate but perform the in-home wall-to-wall cleaning and take the 4 area rugs in for professional washing. They were ready for delivery less than 7 days later in pristine condition. The rugs were rolled up well, furniture moved with care and placed back in exact positions. Let the photos speak for themselves.

Brenner Construction Damage Restoration
Outrageously horrible service. I can't even believe these people are even close to in business still. I agree with the sentiment from another reviewer below: I HAD to give at least 1 star to write this review. They're not even close to deserving.

We've been going back and forth with Brenner for over 5 months now. 5 months. If they show up and WHEN they actually decide to show up, they have no idea what they're there to work on. They have quite legitimately ask my wife why they are there on multiple occasions. Again, this is if they even decide to show up. We've had 3 instances where they no-showed, or ignored the lockbox on the door (that they've used before), to get out of the job. This has been absolutely ridiculous.

Not only is their professionalism the worst I've ever dealt with, their work is that of what my 17-year-old son could do. They've left our house literally torn apart with knocked down walls and holes in our structure for months. Months. I don't even have words left to describe how exhausted we are from this whole situation.

Additionally, they've broken things as they've fixed other things. This inevitably leads to them letting us know there's another issue (that they caused during the process) and ask us to schedule another day to see them, oh, 7 years out. Or so it seems.

The workers are impolite, they don't seem to care about the job, and they don't ask any questions or provide any feedback. It's almost like they're walking around like zombies, just taking up space. The office is just as bad, every time we talk to them, they tell just o wait. And wait... And wait... I'd consider us extraordinarily patient and forgiving, but there comes a point when you can't wait a full month for a phone call that should take at most one week. I'm just appalled at this company.

I wish I could write more about how horrible they are, but I can't even think anymore. They've put us through hell, they've made our lives extremely difficult, and wasted our money. They're inattentive, don't even know what they're showing up to work on, and take over half a year to build out simple fixes. These guys suck. I'd pay thousands and thousands of dollars to never hear from this company again. Good riddance.

BELFOR Property Restoration Damage Restoration
This company was extraordinary.  They set up their dehumidifiers, came back and removed all  drywall that was water damaged and totally cleaned the space
in both closets.   Once the roof was replaced, they came back and replaced all the drywall, sealed and repainted both closets.    They were very skilled and the closets look brand new.    I want to thank them for their professionalism as well.
Sean whose kindness during this challenge diffused my frustration with the length of time it was taking to finish the restoration explaining the roof had to be completed or we would have to start all over.    He was right, it rained the following week later and the plastic covering the master closet ceiling was full of water.  This company and it's customer service are top notch.  My sincere thanks.

Careful!
The employees are nice enough... I feel sorry for them because there is a serious disconnect and issue with leadership.

The owner, Phil...be very cautious with that one.

My repairs started with an a line leak from one of the bathrooms upstairs which unfortunately soaked through carpeting and dripped down into my chandelier over my dining room table downstairs.

*When I questioned the feedback on Phil's behalf to my insurance, he implied I was asking him to lie when in fact, I was asking him to clarify the transitions that would remain on my flooring since I was removing all carpet.
*I have a challenging schedule (night shift/ 14 hr shifts) so when I had the time to get work done on my sporadic days off, I would be given information by the crew doing the repairs but Phil would state otherwise...I'm not sure if he thought I didn't speak with the workers in my home directly...so get use to getting lied to. I cannot tell you how many days I called out because of the scheduling issues (I have the text messages to prove it). It took over 6 months to complete the work that was actually done in a matter of 2 weeks.
*Do your best to keep documentation on conversations and estimates.
*Don't be surprised if the estimate changes after the work is completed and you're given a 'new estimate'.
*Apparently, unannounced visits are acceptable for the owner.
*I was told what supplies would be needed for ME to finish the job that they started...yes, you read that right.
*The amount of drywall dust left in my home has been wiped down for OVER a month, and it's still all over the place.
*A portion of the work was not going to be completed because I wanted to be done with them so Phil decided to keep the monies originally allotted for wallpaper replacement and apply that balance to what was owed for labor. I couldn't contract out with someone else because he kept that money.

I voiced my concerns to my insurance company and they stated it was made out to sound like this is a conflict of personalities.

Definitely NOT someone I would do business again with.
The crew was good

I wouldn't be tricked into thinking the response below is genuine- as we've been working with one another for 6months.

I stand by my review
Thanks for taking the time to read
Best of luck

Silverton Contractors Damage Restoration
David impressed me with his knowledge of diverse contracting situations right off the bat.  My expectations were high though, due to the fact that Silverton had been highly recommended to me by a personal acquaintance who is employed by a major insurance carrier. We met at the property early in the a.m. and David spent a good hour discussing the various options with me.  He thoroughly explained each process and seemed to have a genuine concern for what was going to work best for ME and the time constraints I was under. Never did I feel as though I was being pressured into a sale(for lack of a better word). Our agreed upon price is exactly what my final invoice amount was - no hidden fees or charges. Thank you, David, for everything!  I would definitely recommend this contractor to anyone looking.

Copper State Home Builders Damage Restoration
Lorenzo did a great job.  He was very courteous and professional.  Highly recommend having him manage your project.  Paula, in the office, took care of dealing with my insurance company and made the process very easy.

Our water heater failed and leaked water through the drywall in multiple rooms.  The plumber referred us to Copper State who mitigated the water damage and rebuilt everything as it was prior.

This was the first time we had to make an insurance claim so the process wasn't completely intuitive at first and felt long at times in between the initial demo, then the insurance adjuster, then the rebuild but it all came together and we're happy with the job.

Would work with them again but would insist Lorenzo manage the job as he was top notch professional.

Dry Force Water Removal Specialists Damage Restoration
Dry Force was called by Collins Comfort Masters to address ceiling damage caused by a leak in a newly installed A/C system that flooded my attic (see my review of Collins elsewhere).  They put half-a-dozen vertical drying fans and a large dehumidifier in the affected areas, which ran 24x7 for two-plus weeks.  Sounded like a jet engine on a test stand in the hallway, and a home studio was unusable, but drying had to precede demo and repair.

Dry Force managers and technicians were professional and focused throughout the process.  And I hope I never (need to) see them again.

I can't comment on the cost, as Collins covered that.  But I'm sure it was an expensive lesson in installation quality control.
