We highly recommend this company.  We had our carpet repaired yesterday and I want to share our experience.  The communication from Chris was excellent from requesting service, scheduling an appointment, to on site questions.  He took his time and explained the process, took before and after photos.  Chris was professional and did an amazing job with our carpet, it looks great again.

We just used these guys for remodeling our guest bathroom.  It took a while to get started because the first guy that came over to give an estimate never called us back then we found out that he was no longer with the company, which we had to call to find that out, that was a little unnerving.  Once we got everything set to go, Nathan and Troy came and did the work, for the most part, there were separate marble people that did work as well.   They were excellent and super nice and professionsal.  We had to have a few touch ups after the fact which were taken care of in a timely manner.  We would hire this company again for future work.

We recently moved in to a new home and there is a really odd smell in one cabinet.
Could it be mold?
I called Moldex and at the appointment we ruled out mold due to the smell. I didn't purchase additional treatment but was advised of various cleaning methods.

Shane did a great job of sealing up some old windows that were showing signs of gaps in the sealing and becoming drafty. His work ethic was great and he was more than happy to explain the process of the project. Respected my home and surroundings, and provided very fair pricing. Excellent service! Ron was professional, prompt, answered emails and texts in a timely manner, and was VERY thorough! He took his time cleaning a couch that was previously owned by a pet(s) owner. I am not a pet owner so I do believe I might have been having an allergic reaction to the couch..even though I had it covered. He probably saved my life! Ha! Not to mention the couch probably hadn't been cleaned...ever. Gross, yeah, I know! I would highly recommend Clean Theory and will have Ron back to clean my kitchen tile as soon as home improvements are complete.

I contacted this company for a quote and immediately got the run around. Edward didn't show up to our first scheduled meeting and I took time out of my day to be there.
The second time Edward was late and I had to go back to work and wasn't able to wait for him. He wouldn't take a look and give me an estimate because I wasn't there, so now he has wasted my time for two days in a row.
When Edward finally agreed to take a look at my property without me present, because I could not change my schedule anymore, he quoted me $3800 to trim and fertilize all the trees.
That was such a vague response. I repeatedly asked him to tell me what kind of trees they were, what the care was, and if they all required the same treatment or not.
He continued to avoid answering my question but kept pushing me to trim and fertilize all the trees. It just didn't seem like he really knew much about the trees at all, not like an arborist would and should. I got the feeling he was just a landscaper by his terminology and he just wanted to trim and fertilize was the response I kept getting for every question I asked.
I called a couple of other companies for a second opinion and they were able to list all the trees by species and explained in detail what type of pruning would be done. I chose one of them to do the work.

This company is exceptionally professional, diligent in operate with the highest level of integrity. They stand behind everything they say including price and performance. A true must use company.

If I could give these folks ten stars, I would do it in a New York Minute. They were nothing short of amazing - from the first moment I had a conversation with them (Angela's about as caring an individual as you will ever find), to the last walk-through after they were finished. Efficient, thorough, comprehensive. Can't say enough good things about them.

There was a leak coming from the attic. Chris M from Master of Disaster went above and beyond.  He did the job that the plumber should have done. He came out around 8 pm, checked the situation and when I explained what I thought, he listened. He crawled in the attic, came down and manually regenerated the water softener. Down came the water.

Chris showed up on time, was polite and professional, and went above and beyond. He is an asset to this company.

However...when the next plumber came out he wanted to charge me SEVERAL hundred dollars to run a hose (less than 5 ft) from the water softener to the water waste line. REALLY??? I AM WOMAN BUT I AM FAR FROM BEING DUMB! Way over inflated pricing.

Did the job myself for less than $10.00.

I gave a 3 (would've been less) only because Chris was such a gem.

Sadly, I came home from vacation to the sound of water running. A connection to the R/O system failed and a lot of water had covered my floors. I sucked up the water I could see with my shop vac and then I called Slate Restoration the next morning. Tim came to the rescue within two hours: set up fans & de-humidifiers, checked for water in the walls. And, after a couple of days, I was pretty well dried out. I really appreciate the prompt attention. Tim was friendly, professional and efficient. I hope I don't have to call anyone for water mitigation but if I need to, I will call Slate first.

Responded very fast, removed all the water and used huge dryers to remove moisture from the room.  Event helped finding contractors to repair the walls, cabinets, etc.

I have used Kowalski Construction in the past and have not had a great experience. However my interactions with the new representative Noelia, I have had nothing but the best experience with her. She communicates very well and clearly tells me the status of all of projects. I would recommend Kowalski for any sort of project you need.
